It's a decent place. My opinion is the burritos are the best. Get one with cheese on top. You'll definitely be full. As for the bowls and tacos here, they are okay. Nothing too exciting, but they are fine for lunch. Good location. It's in Fairfax Town Center, in the back across from the movie theater. Employees are very nice and efficient. You can relax here for the most part, but weekdays lunch and weekends can be busy. The tables and chairs are comfortable enough for most.

Ok, so I've actually never been to baja! My my is a school bus driver and always gets little gifts and stuff for the holidays from her students. Someone gave her a gift card and well-- she knows I'm currently employeed at a non profit, in social work no less- so ya girls a little tight on the money. So I said, thabk you and decided to try it out today. Who doesn't like free food?! Service was quick, like any old fast food place. I got the nacho pork burrito. Got it to go because I got off work a little early & wanted to eat in the comfort of my own home. So when I pulled this thing out to eat I was FLOORED by how freakin big it was. If I had known in advance I would have saved it for next week (spending the card) because who knows that when you can make one meal last two days, it's a very good thing. It was pretty good. The pork was great! The only thing that made me sad is I should've just eaten it there. The nacho cheese hardened pretty fast :( SO, the experience was a great one! You get what you paid for for sure. If you want a quick, inexpensive meal consider Baja Fresh!

    Fajitas!

Before you are going to Chipotle again, give Baja a try. Clean, fresh, delicious and affordable! What else you can ask for.

Great portion size and value. The nachos are my favorite, and it has been great to have the salsa bar return, as well.

I wasn't feeling up to the big chains and places I wanted to try seemed to close early. Luckily this place was open and I had been wanting to try it for a while. Definitely it let a hidden gem! There are some parking spots right in front, although not many. There is a decent amount of seating, but it would be tight if you had a large party. My partner did note that the bathrooms weren't that great. You immediately get served complementary chips and salsa. They were pretty basic, but not bad. We ordered the following: + Papusas (Pork and Cheese & Loroco and Cheese) - Decent, although I prefer the Loroco (an edible flower bud). + Pollo à la Primavera (chicken dish) - Yummy, especially the sauce which mixes well with their hot/spicy sauce too! I could do without the salad dressing. + Camarones con Calabeza (shrimp dish) - Same as above! Note they leave the tails on. + Natural Juices (Mango and Maranon) - So refreshing! I loved the Maranon (cashew apple) was a wonderful burst of tropical sweetness with a subtle nutty taste. I appreciate that for the pupusas they had the foresight to provide my partner and I two plates so we could sphere the papusas. The portion sizes of the entrees were great for the price. It did take a while for the staff to swing by so that we could get boxes and the check. Note that credit cards and mobile pay are accepted. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back again to try more items on their menu.

Parking was easy with a large garage right next to the restaurant, which made it especially convenient before heading to a show nearby. When we walked in, the bar was packed with people watching the game, and it had a fun, lively atmosphere. It definitely looked like a great place to catch a sporting event. The service was excellent from start to finish. The owner even came over to introduce himself, which was a really nice touch and made us feel welcome. The chips and salsa were good, just what you'd hope for at a quality Mexican restaurant. We ordered the shrimp fajitas, regular fajitas, and a couple of quesadillas from the kids menu. Even though the menu says it's for kids 8 and under, they were happy to let our slightly older kids order from it. It was a fantastic value, although I'd recommend it more for kids around 12 and under based on the portion sizes. Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful, but the standout was definitely the homemade tortillas. They were outstanding. I also asked for a hot sauce, and they brought out a fresh green sauce that completely elevated the meal. I'm not sure exactly what was in it, but it was incredible. Great food, friendly service, easy parking, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'd definitely come back and would highly recommend Rango's to anyone looking for excellent Mexican food in Virginia.

I came early on a Friday around 5:00PM. It was fairly empty, and by 6:30PM, it filled with patrons. I ordered Pacifico on draft, which is not included within Happy Hour, and their 22 ounce glass is not cheap. I ordered beef fajitas for my meal. They provided a really nice complimentary tortilla and two salsas, which got me started with my beer on an empty stomach. The fajita's came with rice and beans. I enjoyed the entire dish and had a great time. Mosaic is a really cool area that I try to visit when I'm in this part of Virginia because of the variety of restaurants and shops. It's just a cool place that we don't have anywhere in NYC. Mosaic actually has a city vibe without the headache of parking and commotion. There's a huge three or four level parking garage, with street parking.

We got the $11 nachos with brisket, $11 taquitos chicken, $12 taquitos el pastor?, and $7 margs. The food was yummy- and the margs were good. The service was a bit slow and lacking-we had to be the ones to flag down the server multiple times- even went up to the counter to place our orders because we couldn't catchy anyone's attention. It took margaritas almost 20 minutes to get out- of it was faster we probably would've ordered more. It was getting busier but far from being packed. We saw the employees chatting and goofing around a lot. tldr: food and drinks were good but took a while to be able to order and get the food and drinks out. Decent happy hour prices (in this economy).

The chips and guacamole was enjoyable. Nothing special about the chips but they did the job, The guacamole was very tasty and a large enough portion to fill all the chips. The tacos here are a must try! The Taco El Vis is a tribute to the King himself. It's a unique taco I've never seen anywhere else and is smoky bacon, peanut butter, sweet and sour habanero and smoked crema. It might sound odd but it all works together perfectly for a unique and very enjoyable taco. The Sharp Dressed Man is also enjoyable but not quite as unique as El Vis. It has homemade smoked brisket, homemade queso, pico, and crema on a corn tortilla. The sides are worth a try as well. The plantains are perfectly seasoned and freshly fried. The black beans are also hot and fresh though I don't think we got the cojita and pickled onions Drinks are also a hit here. The Tommy's margarita is a tasty basic margarita while the Al Pastor margarita has mezcal, rum, pineapple and smoke bitters for a unique and enjoyable smoky taste. Service is very friendly here and they have a record/music theme with amps in the back and classic rock hits playing. They have a few shuffleboard tables and a vintage Golden Tee machine if you want to play some golf. This place isn't cheap (welcome to Mosaic) but it's an enjoyable spot with tasty food/drinks and awesome service and I'll come here again.
