I came in because I wanted a similar bowl like chipotle but a different variety. The good news is that avocado and queso is free and there are lots of toppings to choose from. So much more than chipotle. The bad news is that the flavors were quite bland. The rice did taste kind of stale and it didn't really have the flavor that matched well because it was dry, bland, and stale. But I will say that it was a lot of food provided (minus the protein). I've been getting burritos here for years and have almost always been completely satisfied. Service is always fast and friendly. Food is fresh and flavorful. I especially enjoy the beef brisket berria. Eating space is brightly lit and clean. Rest rooms are as well. Only issues are the prices, which are a bit high and have been going up faster than other places in the past year or two. Also wrapping of the burritos is a bit sloppy sometimes with filling leaking out, which makes them messy to eat. But there are just minor factors in an otherwise very positive experience! read more

First off it's clean. Extremely nice employees here. I like that it's a bit laid back. That can be a game changer for a quick lunch. Their cookies and brownies are truly delicious. Yet let's take a look at Qdoba. They have a lot of competition. There are so many restaurants like them. Nothing really sets them apart. Order the grilled chicken quesadilla via postmates and it was good. Honestly I used to get This quite often when I was going into the office so I already know what I expected it to taste like and it was exactly that. Only thing is these ones didn't seem to have enough cheese to hold them togther so they were falling apart so that's why I deducted one star. I'm not sure why I never came to QDOBA before. It's basically Chipotle but with many more options. The result is a burrito that doesn't taste the same every time (the way my Chipotle burritos always do). There are more flavor combo options here. Plus, for my vegan friends, they have impossible meat. It's not amazing but in the Chipotle world where I only get to choose between veggies or sofritas, the new option was refreshing. We also got their chips and guac which was yummy. Again, I hate to keep comparing to Chipotle, but the chips at QDOBA aren't as good. They do the job though. Will QDOBA replace Chipotle in my life? The food was ok. My son thought it looked like a version of Chipotle's restaurant. I had higher expectations. The food was OK. My son's meal was the best. He got a a cheese quesadilla and rice. It took 2 minutes for them to understand I just wanted him to have rice with his cheese quesadilla. My food was in a taco shell bowl. It was stale. The actual salad I had was good but the bowl just kinda of ruined the food. I didn't really care for the attitude of the staff. They acted as if they couldn't hear anything. I had the repeat everything 3-6 times to get any response. I know it was through a mask but I also have a loud voice. It's been quite a few years ever since I've been to Qdoba and on my recent visit, I can see that they might've rebranded recently. But I love that they have a variety of menu items compared to other similar chains. The day that my coworkers and I went, the workers were SO nice and personable. They also got the line to move by quickly despite the lunch rush. I did a place ahead order the other day and I ordered the beef nacho's with the chips on the side. It actually looked like someone threw up in the bowl and no chips were included. I've always liked Qdoba because of the variety of toppings that you can add to your food, and I think it tastes better than Chipotle. I got the burrito bowl and a quesadilla and they were both pretty good. My only issue is I think the portion has gotten smaller over the years. I used to love Qdoba. I'm not sure what changed. I don't know if it's them or if it's me but... It's definitely them. My go to is the nachos with steak and guacamole along with some cheese and pico de gallo with black beans. I was extremely hungry when I ordered them and thought I would devour them. After the first three bites, I debated if I should order something else. The taste was not there. The queso seemed bland and the beans were missing flavor. The only good part was the guacamole. I visited this location Sunday around 630pm. I just want to acknowledge the two employees that were working hard on the line literally running back and forth while orders kept piling up behind them. As I work in the food industry it made me angry to watch this man literally stare at his coworkers struggle instead of helping them out. I don't know what his position is, but whatever it is, I know he does not get paid to just stand there. Everytime I come to this location I get fast and good service. They are clean, friendly, fast, & the food is fresh. I always try the 3 tacos, normally the specials. We go to this Qdoba location about once a week or so. However, this review is about a recent catering they did for a HS graduation party. Though I was a little concerned that the employee who took the order didn't understand me and my order, on the day of the party I arrived a little early to pick up my food. It was a substantial order for 40 people, everything was ready, the order was completely correct, and it was like clockwork. They did a super job and I highly recommend their catering service. Now the food: Absolutely wonderful! I've never had a bad meal there. I'm partial to their Mexican Gumbo with pork, pinto beans and fajita veggies. I'm really happy the guacamole is now complementary with anything you order. Their chips are wonderful, love their queso, both regular and spicy. Sometimes for regular visits, service is slow, but that is usually only when busy. read more

I have never had an issue with QDOBA, and I still don't! I started eating a a different QDOBA by falls church, since 2015 because they had a student special, and the staff there are 11/10. I recently got a job over here and was really craving QDOBA, so I looked it up, and there was one nearby my work! The staff here is also super friendly, the nice man, I'm not sure if he's the boss, I didn't catch his name, welcomed me as soon a I got in. He was quick to give me my order, and it was delicious, just like my main QDOBA close to my home. I do feel like the portion did decrease, but not by much. This is solely based off of customer service. Today, my office placed an order for lunch. We faxed a written order with their own order form, and we also called and confirmed it. Twice. I went to pick up the order, get back to the office, and we were all missing the other half of our lunches. Well, that's not true; we got the chips. But no queso. I called back to say there was a mistake, and the manager (Gloria) IMMEDIATELY got way too defensive, and started and continued to talk over me. She informed me we filled in the forms incorrectly. Fine. I went on to explain we had placed orders just like this before, with no issue, and received everything without hiccup. "Ma'am it does not matter. It was wrong this time and that's that. I'm sorry but I care about my customers but you filled it out wrong. I don't know about those other times but this times you were wrong, it's not my fault." EXCUSE ME?! 1) This was a lunch order for 10 people that got screwed up, you could be a little more sensitive and pleasant. 2) You are seriously a manager with that attitude? 3) You have permanently lost our business. I understand we filled out the form wrong. That's totally fine. But, when you go about to tell someone they did it wrong, DO NOT belittle them or speak over them. She didn't even offer to give us free queso to make up for it. Not that we were expecting it, but it would have been nice after being insulted by a "manager". Such a shame because we love their food. When I first started going to Qdoba (in D.C.), I thought it seemed like a rip-off of Chipotle. But the more I visit Qdoba (now going to the one in Fairfax) the more I find things I like that are different. My all-time go-to favorite here is the quesadilla. They are delicious! The guac and sour cream comes on the side (yay - no extra charge for guac!) and the chicken quesadilla is huge in size and taste. Honestly, I have yet to try much else here since I'm so enamored with the quesadilla. :) It's never too crowded, so no wait for service during my precious lunch time.
