Just came here for the second time on Taco Tuesday. For the special, they offer, chicken, chorizo, and al pastor. I bought two of each at $2.70 per taco. They were all good, but the chorizo is my favorite. I'm not an expert when it comes to Mexican dining, but this is a decent spot when it comes to authenticity. read more

First time to two burritos, parking was behind the building a bit sketchy since the building was closed. Decided no better time to visit if it's the 1 year Anniversary. They had BOGO on their Al pastor tacos. While waiting they provided me with a small piece of tres leches and gave me choice of horchata or limeade. I opted for the horchata which for a "pre-mix" was actually pretty good. The Tres leches wasnt too sweet and was dare i say moist lol due to the cake being soaked. Now i didn't get to enjoy my meal until I got home so the real test was how does carryout do. The al pastor tacos.. the meat was a little dry for me. I do appreciate the freshness of the chopped onions, cilantro and the limes. But without the salsa that was given it was a bit average. The chicken flautas.. price point was a bit steep for me $11.00 but they were good. Nice and crispy exterior. traveled well and nicely filled with chicken. served with a side of pico and lettuce. the Nachos Machos. um holy cow.. the whole container? and for $6 ish dollars. The container was hefty, the queso was creamy not grainy. Chips were fresh, Piled with black beans pickled jalapenos, chicken, pico de gallo, sour cream drizzle. It was like the loaded nachos you crave. Plantains...i mean really its difficult to screw these up but. They had a nice crisp crust on the outside nicely caramelized and still soft nice toothy bite where your not fighting to eat it. I also ordered steak quesadillas for my brother which i did not try but he was a fan of. Overall Two Burritos was kinda of a nice surprise I had eyed it for awhile and thought oh its just another franchise but realized its kind of of a hidden joint. I am really impressed with the freshness of the ingredients for a fast causal place I most likely will return to try other items as i am curious about their fish tacos . read more

Found this place online. Nice people 5/5. Food was middling. Not really well seasoned. While the meals were cooked they weren't really seasoned as I would expect for this type of food. Hands down the best birria tacos in the DMV. I discovered this place by chance while looking for something quick to eat in the area and have not been disappointed in anything I've tried. The "Mexican Boba" is not bad, I wouldn't call it boba per se, but I like the passion fruit flavor. The person behind the counter is always nice and they take the food to your table. The interior is nothing special and the tables are not always clean, but none of that matters once you bite into the delicious birria taco. Don't get me wrong, the other tacos are good too and I always try something new, but nothing compares to the complex flavors of the birria meat dipped in the delicious sauce. read more

We were looking for a place serving birria tacos and Two Burritos popped up on Yelp. As the restaurant has a 4.6 rating and is located less than 10 minutes from our house we gave it a try. OMG! We are glad we did! The food was amazing and the manager/cashier/server was completely customer service focused. He explained the menu and offerings, made recommendations based on our different preferences, and then served us our food when it was ready. We got birria tacos, a chicken taco, a Shrimp Burrito, and chips and queso. The food definitely deserves 5 out of 5 stars, especially the birria tacos. The meat was flavorful and the accompanying broth was amazing. In fact, we ordered a couple of more birria tacos to bring home for later. We also ordered a shrimp burrito which has rice, black or pinto beans, pico de gallo, cilantro, lettuce, cheese, cilantro aioli sauce and red cabbage. The shrimp is fried, not grilled, but the breading is not overwhelming and pairs nicely with the red cabbage and sauces. As other people have mentioned, the burritos are huge and the ingredients are fresh and plentiful. We enjoyed the chips and queso with the chips being fresh and flavorful. The red habanero sauce had a nice kick to it and the green tomatillo sauce was refreshing. Overall Two Burritos gets a big thumbs up for its food, the quick food preparation and service, relatively reasonable prices, closeness to George Mason University, Fairfax City, and University Mall. I ordered online for work twice. 1st time I really enjoyed it especially with a hot red sauce. I ordered a Adobe chicken bowl without sour cream. It was really flavorful especially with the red sauce and tasted healthy. I'd order that again. 2nd time I ordered. Chorizo burrito with chips and queso. Shared with a coworker and they really loved the chips. I just thought they were OK. Queso has a strange flavor to me. Its like it was seasoned the seasoning overpowered the queso part. Chorizo kinda had no flavor. A bit too oily. I usually love everything Chorizo but I did not like either. I definitely wouldn't order either again. It didn't take long to get my order. So much better than the national chain Mexican restaurants! My chicken burrito had all the ingredients spread throughout the burrito instead of a lump of rice then a lump of chicken, etc. The tortilla was nicely griddled after being folded resulting in a tortilla that stayed together and had a pleasant textural contrast. My daughter's quesadilla was loaded with cheese. My son's shrimp bowl was according to him tasty and flavorful with a good amount of shrimp. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her veggie bowl and it was well seasoned and stuffed full. I highly recommend diverting from the usual fast casual burrito place and giving this place a try. Wifey and I stopped in for lunch this saturday. We got (and shared) a fish taco, the adobo chicken taco, and the birria quesadilla with a mango soda. The fish taco was the clear winner. She said "This is probably the best fish taco I've ever had." That's pretty high praise as she has gotten fish tacos all over NOVA including a pricier place with great beer and marinated steak. I have to agree with her: the crispy crunch of the fish coupled with the tangy red coleslaw was amazing. I wonder, is the burrito version more of the same or is it different because it is listed as mahi mahi? (Pictures somewhere would be very helpful or at least a paragraph description on the website.) I thought their tacos de al pastor were meh, but their steak was good and especially their birria! I was really impressed by how juicy it was. And their consume was delicious! The burritos are big fair warning! They also offer drinks, and bowls. Overall, I think this is a great new addition to the area. It's really good for takeout as the inside isn't super big. I didn't get to try their mixed drinks. I will say the only thing I didn't like was their hot sauces they weren't spicy at all. The service was quick and the staff was kind. The ambiance of the place is a location you'd spend some times with a group of friends. Their quesadillas are phenomenal and I would recommend going that route. I got the Birria burrito. The burrito and what was inside it was great. The Birria didn't really have any other flavor than star anise. I know that's in Birria but it was too over powering for me and I wouldn't recommend it. However, everything else was so good I would get a different burrito and try that instead. We also got the tres leches along with the street Corn and both were wonderful, however I think $6 for one street Corn is just not a good price. All in all a good place to check out. read more

While the meat was great, the burrito was super bean heavy and overpowered by the beans and lacking in the flavor of the cheese, lettuce and other fillings. Wife and I decided to try it one Saturday night. The food was fine, but: The food took a rather long time to arrive, and did not arrive at the same time (two entrees). They forgot to bring out our yucca fries, and took a long time to figure it out after I came to the front to ask about it. Worse, apparently the manager was not around so as to give us a refund on them. (No arrangements to fix screwups while the manager is not around, and they don't always have a manager on hand? The Birriamen is out of this world! If you visit this place, you absolutely have to try the Birriamen. I found it to be such an ingenious dish and, above all delicious, the flavor combination is spot on. Overall, everything we ordered was a 10/10. it's clear they pay attention to every detail.
