Festive decor, quiet vibe for weekend lunch. Solid Mexican food (really can't go wrong with fajitas) - portions generous for prices. Friendly service, no complaints.

Had a reservation for 14 people and were seated promptly at our time. Lots of parking in the back. The chips and salsa they gave the table was great. For my entree, I got the chimichanga and it was pretty good. Meat was cooked well, and the portion size was great. My wife ordered the nachos and there was a good amount of everything. Meat tasted the same as mine. I also ordered a non alcoholic pina colada that tasted solid. The decor inside is very lively and colorful, def a solid spot to have dinner as a large group because they have plenty of seating and food was solid.

Food was delish and great service. Complimentary tortilla chips and salsa were on point. Warm chips with just a dash of salt. I ordered the build your own meal, so I selected one beef chimichanga, one chicken enchilada, and one beef soft taco, served with beans and rice. I asked for black beans but they gave me refried. It was fine, but its not what I asked for. We also had fried soft tacos. The margarita flight was tasty. A nice way to experiment with the different flavors. All and all, I really enjoy this restaurant. They have an extensive menu. I will go back and highly recommend.

This is a family place that is welcoming, fun and has great food. We were looking for a nice but non-pretentious Mexican restaurant with yummy margaritas, and now we are Senior Tequila's regulars! The strawberry margarita is my personal favorite but everything we've had is good. If you have someone with a big (no, really big) appetite, there's a Macho Burrito that my 6'6" partner couldn't half finish. All the food we've had has been very good, and the service even better. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite restaurants in the dmv. However, we waited for 30minutes for a server to come to our table once we were seated this past Sunday. Once we brought it to their attention, our waiter was very nice. Other than that, the service has always been good. Food has ALWAYSSS been delicious. Also, their margaritas!! The portions you get & the quality of the food are very well worth the price.

I've been going here for quite a bit and they never fail me from their drinks to their fried ice cream! Service is always attentive and the vibes are great! Definitely recommend

Pretty good! The service was good, but the menu was a little confusing and the chicken a little dry. Overall a good experience, but nothing too groundbreaking.

Came here for a dinner in a weekday. I made it for their happy hour and got a frozen margarita. It was a strong drink. The service was really slow and they messed up my order. It's not a bad place for the price of the food here, but service is slow and not accurate. The seats were not clean. It had chips and food crumbs on it. There is ample parking in the lot outside.

Enjoyed dinner at Señor tequila's last night. The chips and salsa were super fresh and our dinner came out hot and fast! I had the Birria tacos and they are amazing! We also had the triple dip appetizer and their guacamole is delish! The inside of the restaurant is super bright and festive. We had pretty great service. All in all a great night. I highly recommend.

    Molcajete Mexicano
    Michelle B.

The overall feel of this restaurant is really nice, i love how it's decorated to show important people in Mexican Culture. It's colorful, fun, and bright! I have been here multiple times and recommend their Molcajetes as they are big and you can share them with someone else. I tried their Queso with chorizo today and i wouldn't recommend, only because the queso us too watery (unless you like a liquidy queso). Usually when i've come the service is pretty fast and the wait staff are very attentive. I came today and the staff was very nice! the service was just slow. It's a good restaurant if you're looking for flavorful food. 3.5/5

    Paella

I went with a group for lunch at Señor Tequila recently. The service was very slow even though the place was not full. My order, one of their specials , Paella, took a while to arrive. The staff looked confused the whole time. I had to walk towards the kitchen to ask for utensils and for a water refill. The food was delicious, though. The price is reasonable as well. The service needs to improve before I even consider returning.

I wasn't feeling up to the big chains and places I wanted to try seemed to close early. Luckily this place was open and I had been wanting to try it for a while. Definitely it let a hidden gem! There are some parking spots right in front, although not many. There is a decent amount of seating, but it would be tight if you had a large party. My partner did note that the bathrooms weren't that great. You immediately get served complementary chips and salsa. They were pretty basic, but not bad. We ordered the following: + Papusas (Pork and Cheese & Loroco and Cheese) - Decent, although I prefer the Loroco (an edible flower bud). + Pollo à la Primavera (chicken dish) - Yummy, especially the sauce which mixes well with their hot/spicy sauce too! I could do without the salad dressing. + Camarones con Calabeza (shrimp dish) - Same as above! Note they leave the tails on. + Natural Juices (Mango and Maranon) - So refreshing! I loved the Maranon (cashew apple) was a wonderful burst of tropical sweetness with a subtle nutty taste. I appreciate that for the pupusas they had the foresight to provide my partner and I two plates so we could sphere the papusas. The portion sizes of the entrees were great for the price. It did take a while for the staff to swing by so that we could get boxes and the check. Note that credit cards and mobile pay are accepted. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back again to try more items on their menu.

They have lots of delicious dishes but we both always get the Steak Fajitas. You get 10oz of marinated skirt steak and that marinade is fire. The steak comes on a sizzling platter with a side of Mexican butter. Butter y'all! You 100% want to pour that butter all over the steak and the sautéed green peppers and onions. This was a new thing for me, but the flavor is incredible. This steak just melts in your mouth. I'm salivating thinking about it. This entree is way too big of a serving to eat at once, but I typically do and am way too full. It's that good! The Fajitas are served with Mexican rice, a la charra beans, guacamole, lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream and homemade tortillas on the side. The charra beans are also a unique touch. They are hearty and flavorful. Must also brag on their homemade tortillas. To me, the flour is where it's at. They are so soft. You can actually watch them making them fresh from your table. When you put all the fajitas components together and take a bite, it's really delish. Chips and salsa is also stellar, as is their fresh guacamole and queso. If you are going to get a margarita just go ahead and get the large size. They are yummy and it's a better deal than ordering two. Their restaurants are large so lots of tables to accommodate small and large parties alike. It's a casual joint so great for families, celebrations, date night. Service is always quick and attentive, even when they are very busy. If you want a great Mexican meal, come to Guapos. Get those steak fajitas. No notes.

The ambience is lively without feeling cramped, which makes it an easy place to settle in after work. Happy Hour: Their happy hour is definitely the main draw. The large margaritas are priced extremely well, and when the mix is right, they're excellent. The only downside is consistency -- sometimes the drinks have a good balance of alcohol, and other times they taste more like lemonade and feel watered down. The appetizer prices are also great. We ordered the fried wings and Mexican rice; both were okay and edible, but not particularly memorable compared to other spots. Service: Service was generally good, but with only one bartender covering the entire bar, there were stretches where he disappeared or was tied up. Nothing terrible, just not the level of attentiveness you get at places with more staff behind the bar. Overall: Despite the inconsistencies, we'd come back. The happy hour prices are hard to beat, and when the drinks hit right, it's worth the visit.
