Chorizo breakfast platter

I got the chorizo breakfast platter this morning. It was amazing! Food was delicious, fast, and staff was courteous. What more could you ask for? I will be a repeat customer!

This review is just for the breakfast tacos. Definitely won't be getting breakfast tacos from here again. Got two sausage and egg tacos and it was just all eggs and tiny bits of sausage sprinkled. It was not very warm and so the cheese wasn't even melted. It was edible but extremely bland. I got salsa verde on it but didn't actually see any salsa. Definitely prefer Anita's breakfast burritos.

Laredo taco is cheap, fast, fresh, and clean. It's hard to beat their breakfast taco deal. You have to use touch screen kiosk to order like you do at wawa and sheetz. I was pleasantly surprised to find out how fresh everything was. El campeon was a good option but I thought bacon and egg tacos were great. As long as you want your standard breakfast tacos, this place will deliver descent tacos at a very low price. (2 for $4). Also, pro tip is to drizzle some nacho cheese and chili, if you want to add a hint of convenience store instant food flavor.

It was at a 7-11. Not a taco restaurant. What?? Maybe if I wanted a slurpee or a big gulp.

Beef Fajita salad was very good. Seasoned very well and tender. Larger portion and cheaper than California tortilla, Chipotle, or Moe's

I wasn't feeling up to the big chains and places I wanted to try seemed to close early. Luckily this place was open and I had been wanting to try it for a while. Definitely it let a hidden gem! There are some parking spots right in front, although not many. There is a decent amount of seating, but it would be tight if you had a large party. My partner did note that the bathrooms weren't that great. You immediately get served complementary chips and salsa. They were pretty basic, but not bad. We ordered the following: + Papusas (Pork and Cheese & Loroco and Cheese) - Decent, although I prefer the Loroco (an edible flower bud). + Pollo à la Primavera (chicken dish) - Yummy, especially the sauce which mixes well with their hot/spicy sauce too! I could do without the salad dressing. + Camarones con Calabeza (shrimp dish) - Same as above! Note they leave the tails on. + Natural Juices (Mango and Maranon) - So refreshing! I loved the Maranon (cashew apple) was a wonderful burst of tropical sweetness with a subtle nutty taste. I appreciate that for the pupusas they had the foresight to provide my partner and I two plates so we could sphere the papusas. The portion sizes of the entrees were great for the price. It did take a while for the staff to swing by so that we could get boxes and the check. Note that credit cards and mobile pay are accepted. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back again to try more items on their menu.

Parking was easy with a large garage right next to the restaurant, which made it especially convenient before heading to a show nearby. When we walked in, the bar was packed with people watching the game, and it had a fun, lively atmosphere. It definitely looked like a great place to catch a sporting event. The service was excellent from start to finish. The owner even came over to introduce himself, which was a really nice touch and made us feel welcome. The chips and salsa were good, just what you'd hope for at a quality Mexican restaurant. We ordered the shrimp fajitas, regular fajitas, and a couple of quesadillas from the kids menu. Even though the menu says it's for kids 8 and under, they were happy to let our slightly older kids order from it. It was a fantastic value, although I'd recommend it more for kids around 12 and under based on the portion sizes. Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful, but the standout was definitely the homemade tortillas. They were outstanding. I also asked for a hot sauce, and they brought out a fresh green sauce that completely elevated the meal. I'm not sure exactly what was in it, but it was incredible. Great food, friendly service, easy parking, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'd definitely come back and would highly recommend Rango's to anyone looking for excellent Mexican food in Virginia.

The Combination platter of Paneer Enchilada and Potato Spinach and Cheese Taquito along with an a la carte Caulilflower taco was a great way to sample the menu! The Paneer Kathi roll is hands-down the best kati roll I've had! The Paneer Enchilada hit the spot with a creamy cheesy Tikka sauce while the the Spinach Cheese Potato Masala Taquito had a spicy kick! The Mexican rice was great for mopping up the sauce and absorbing the spiciness. It was a bummer the Cauliflower Taco wasn't an option for the Combination Platter of 3 (only the meat tacos were an option). I'm glad I ordered it a la carte for $8 - it was worth it! The crispy Cauliflower had a sweet and tangy sauce stuffed in 2 thin tortillas. Interestingly enough, all 3 items - the Enchilada, Taquito and taco had completely different sauces and flavors. The Happy Hour from 3-6:30pm Mon-Fri has good deals - try the Kathi Paneer roll! The roll is a generous size with tender scrumptious paneer stuffed in warm cheesy tortilla. I'll opt out of the jalapenos/chili next time. it added a spicy kick! The Masala Fries were like Indian version of spicy Disco fries. They were fun to try, but they were soggy from all of the sauce and a bit too spicy. I wish the sauces came on the side. The $8 flavored Margarita on happy hour is a great deal. I enjoy the Guava Margarita. The complementary chips were fine and a bit salty, nothing really special (I wouldn't fill up on them). The giant Watermelon Pina Colada Mocktail was very sweet and tasted like watermelon cotton candy slushie. My daughter loved it! I wasn't a fan of the Classic Margarita, Mezcal Passion fruit Margarita, or the Sangria on happy hour, the flavors weren't quite balanced out. The drinks were very tangy flavor and I wish the sangria was a bit sweeter and had a heavy flavor from the Triple Sec. I threw up outside the restaurant after drinking the Mezcal Passion fruit Margarita. Note - the restaurant doesn't take online or phone reservations for parties under 10, but I didn't wait long (10 min) for a party of 5 for Saturday lunch at 1pm (3 of 5 had to be there). Excited to come back to satisfy my cravings for the Paneer Enchiladas and Paneer Kathi Roll and Guava Margarita on happy hour!

I came early on a Friday around 5:00PM. It was fairly empty, and by 6:30PM, it filled with patrons. I ordered Pacifico on draft, which is not included within Happy Hour, and their 22 ounce glass is not cheap. I ordered beef fajitas for my meal. They provided a really nice complimentary tortilla and two salsas, which got me started with my beer on an empty stomach. The fajita's came with rice and beans. I enjoyed the entire dish and had a great time. Mosaic is a really cool area that I try to visit when I'm in this part of Virginia because of the variety of restaurants and shops. It's just a cool place that we don't have anywhere in NYC. Mosaic actually has a city vibe without the headache of parking and commotion. There's a huge three or four level parking garage, with street parking.

But after our first visit, we were impressed enough with the food that we came back soon after to try more of the menu! On our first visit, we ordered the lomo saltado, and it was really flavorful and delicious. We also tried the carne asada, which came covered in a brown gravy--not exactly what we expected to see on our steak! We were hesitant at first, but once we took a bite, we realized it was actually very tasty. Definitely not what we expected based on how it looked. The margarita was okay. On our return visit, we ordered the steak and shrimp, and wow--the flavor was absolutely delicious! The steak had an amazing flavor. We also tried the steak with onions, which comes topped with plenty of sautéed onions. It was very good, but the skirt steak with shrimp is still our favorite. We came back again for brunch and tried the steak and eggs, which was pretty tasty and served on a sizzling platter. They also have a $30 brunch option where you can choose three menu items, get brunch drinks at a substantially reduced price, and receive a dessert. That's a pretty good deal! The restaurant also has a large menu with plenty of choices, so there is still a lot for us to try. The customer service has been consistently good, and we really enjoy their fresh, tasty chips and salsa. The chips are crisp and flavorful, and the salsa is delicious. We've now been back several times and will definitely return to try more menu items. There are some surprisingly delicious dishes here!

The tacos here are a must try! The Taco El Vis is a tribute to the King himself. It's a unique taco I've never seen anywhere else and is smoky bacon, peanut butter, sweet and sour habanero and smoked crema. It might sound odd but it all works together perfectly for a unique and very enjoyable taco. The Sharp Dressed Man is also enjoyable but not quite as unique as El Vis. It has homemade smoked brisket, homemade queso, pico, and crema on a corn tortilla. The sides are worth a try as well. The plantains are perfectly seasoned and freshly fried. The black beans are also hot and fresh though I don't think we got the cojita and pickled onions Drinks are also a hit here. The Tommy's margarita is a tasty basic margarita while the Al Pastor margarita has mezcal, rum, pineapple and smoke bitters for a unique and enjoyable smoky taste. Service is very friendly here and they have a record/music theme with amps in the back and classic rock hits playing. They have a few shuffleboard tables and a vintage Golden Tee machine if you want to play some golf. This place isn't cheap (welcome to Mosaic) but it's an enjoyable spot with tasty food/drinks and awesome service and I'll come here again.
