I found a hidden gem in a cheap but absolutely insane great burger at the Wendy's I pass every day. Here is the good and bad. Try a Double Stack but customize it with all your favorite fixing. The cook there is generous with condiments when you customize, and it makes a burger so much better than anywhere else. I want my burgers "messy." Only this Wendy's accommodates as the high-bar. I hate punny tiny burgers especially when overpriced. Only one other Burger place is as good - this one franchise and Freddies. All the rest serve "dry" burgers for lack of condiment portion-size and are overpriced with tasteless value. Five Guys are great, but they are over pricing themselves out of the market. The downside of this store is their Frosty sauces are added too sparingly where one can barely taste the addition. The other matter that is a major distraction is that Wendy's must have added software to their internet such that one cannot load YouTube and stream a clip while at this and a second Wendy's I visited. That WiFi access is a must for me while I eat, and I have taken my two Wendy Burgers to McDonalds, Smoothie Café, or Giant, who always has great WiFi. Place is clean. Place is open with lots of windows, not a dark cave. The quality of this one messy burger, the bright clean atmosphere, the reasonable price, options for ice cream, all keep me coming back and back. Lack of dependable WiFi may be the killer for this store as a favorite. read more

The gentleman in the drive through looked miserable working there. Wendy's always takes for ever compared to Mc D's, and it's so much more expensive. We didn't get apple slices, or apple sauce with the kid's meal, nor any sauces for the chicken and hamburger. read more

It works and the new drive through system is pretty cool! This is a busy location. Being directly across from a major university can do that. This Wendy's seems to always have crowds dining in, or in the line outside. The renovation helped make this better. Some may not like the modern appearance, but I think it's trendy. Parking is a headache. I'm not sure how to remedy this. Be wary of people driving fast, and also through the few empty spaces. The hamburgers here are quite tasty. I like that they don't freeze their beef. Their fries are decent. I am sad the vanilla frosty is no more. Such is life. This is a better choice than BK or the Golden Arches. I love Wendy's, this location is awful. Let me recount my 4 most recent visits to you (yes I get fast food a lot): Visit 1: I order at the drive-through speaker, and I say "can I get some ghost pepper ranch sauces." When I get home, my bag has no sauce. Visit 2: Same thing. Visit 3: When I order (Dave's double, fries, drink), and once again say "And can I get some ghost pepper ranch sauces." This time the speaker, with a weird tone, says "For what? The fries?" (First of all, why do you care? Second of all, yes." Well after getting my bag and pulling forward to a parking spot there is once again NO SAUCE. He even acknowledged the fact that I asked for the sauce, and still, no sauce. Visit 4: I order a biggie bag (Soda, nuggets, fries, Jr Bacon Cheeseburger). This time when they hand me the bag I sit in my car and check it. No sauce. They also didn't give me my drink, so I'm sitting there waiting. Finally they open the window again and give me a look like "need something?" and I say "Just waiting on my root beer, and can I get the ghost pepper ranch sauce?" She says oh yeah and makes the root beer then hands it to me, and I again say "and can I get the ghost pepper ranch sauces please" and she hands me 2. When I get home I realize I was so focused on the sauces I didn't notice my bag had 2 things of fries and no nuggets. And then I unwrapped my burger, no bacon on it. The young male cashier was super upbeat and you don't get that often in fast food or retail anymore. I was expecting something like Checkers and these were not even comparable. Checkers gives you a lot more cheese and bacon. Not often we do fast food, but it was after a full day out and we were famished so stopped on the way home. Food, actually not bad. Southwestern Spicy Chicken sandwich, pretty good actually. Fries, hot and seasoned. Anywho, what was the absolute pits was the place itself. The staff, with a line to the door, displayed NO sense of urgency at all, seriously stood in line for almost 20min with only about 5 people in front, and many more behind, by the time I said to my better half, "You wanna leave?", it was a negative, as now it was a mission. Not a clean table in the place, looked like the dinning room hadn't been serviced all day. Garbage everywhere, floors filthy, tables sticky, soda area w frickin mess...the large drink lids were shot out of the dispenser and all over the floor, when another customer complained about this, he picked them up off the floor, and attempted to put them back before he say me mean muggin and audibly said, oh I know he's not putting those back, then he trough them out. If he actually heard me, I don't know. Same guy then sprays down a table for the lady, starts on another, gives it a wipe, then sprays down another table, another employee came into the dining room to get him back on the register...does he finish cleaning the table that he just sprayed down? NO. Simply takes his towel and walks away, wtf mate? Saturday afternoon, at one of the few fast food options within a stones through of a university, and only have 5 people working, with NO MANAGEMENT at all? My boyfriend and I came for food. We order two number #8 both with medium premium lemonades with two large waters. We pull up and pay. First we realize that the two waters we ordered were two small. Then we realize that our lemonades were in different types of cups. So we questioned why this was. Safan (sp) at the window then tells us.. "you order .. I charged you.. this is what you get" So we at the window ..like "but what is in this cup? It's gross" .. he tells us .. "light lemonade". So we proceed to tell him that its not what we ordered. This Wendy's location is frustrating. While the food is typically made quickly and to order, the staff leave a lot to be desired. They are rude and often don't even look at me when taking payment or handing my order to me. I don't need to make a BFF in the drive thru, but it doesn't hurt to smile and say, "hello" to a customer. read more

I felt horrible cramps and headache so ordered 4 combo meals and a single burger. 3 combos were supposed to be served with sauces I specifically ordered through online. I ordered online at home for curbside pickup. I drove there the time I chose. I drove to the store and he wasn't there ( at least not in front of me). The not friendly lady stopped the young cashier boy and gave a nasty look then told me to tell her order. I ordered 4 combo meals for my family after I talked to the manager that I would get for tonight's dinner. The lady gestured to stop me then started making a phone call to someone ( I assume the manager ) then came back to say " Just ONE MEAL." So I told her if that's the case I don't need it then left to get different food for taking out. After they messed up my sick day whole family dinner and they called me to give another chance to them with the free meal. Went in the other day to grab lunch with my parents. Any other day i prolly wouldnt write a review unless i get super bad or super good experience. While waiting for our order, i noticed a young gentleman behind the counter by the name of Anthony, communicating very well with the staff, everyone seemed to respect him. Its so good to see a manager actually act as equal to everyone instead of makin themselves seem more superior. He was actually working on the frontline with his staff instead of sittin back shoutin orders. He was movin around quick just like the others. A weird older customer was being arrogant and strange and hostile towards the cashier, Anthony came over and handled the situation without escalating it. Amazing. I watched this young man prepare orders as they were coming in. That is how you do it! People need to take notes from this guy! As we sat down and started to eat, anthony took it upon himself to make his way around the room and introduce himself and asked if we needed anything. At this point i was beyond amazed. You do not see this type of behavior anymore nowadays. At the end, i waited in line to get a refill and a to go bag, behind another customer ordering, Anthony noticed me and said he had a drink coming up for me (due to covid they dont use the same cups for refills). I've left alot of restaurants from fast food to fancy dining pretty disappointed in my experience. But this day i left Wendy's amazed, pleased, and hopeful that other restaurants could shock me the same way. Anthony if you ever read this, you are dam good at what you do! Please dont change! I've literally gone to this wendy's twice. both times through the drive through. The first time we went the guy didn't let me finsih my order, and then after I continued it he called me a bitch. Then I found a long hair in my bacon fried. Although this was horrible I chose to go there again. This time my order went well, but the second window guy just had the meanest look on his face.
