Somewhere that's a bit more satisfying than any other burger location that I've had. For years ever since I left Knoxville, I have been trying to find a solid burger and I think I found a place that I can see myself going to over and over. We came to know about Social Burger through our friends. We had take out the first time, but our second time we went to the restaurant ourselves and we were not disappointed. The portions are good and I would say the portions are always bigger when it comes to when you eat at the restaurant compared to when you're doing takeout. Counter woman was knowledgeable, patient and pleasant. Burger arrived relatively quickly ~10 minutes. Buns were grilled on the flat top. I picked my toppings and the patties seemed to be hand ground/formed and were the right amount of meat for the bun. I liked the fries, although they didn't have much salt on them. Food is fine. But the app DEFAULTS to a 20% tip just to pick up food! This is insane. I worked my whole teens and 20's in a similar job, and I made exactly $0 in tips, because we didn't ask for tips for food pickup. Ask for a tip, fine, but to default to a 20% surcharge is just bad form. Even though they are right down the street, I will never go there again. My friend loved her turkey burger--in this case a Thanksgiving themed special--and said that the patty was very flavorful. I had the social burger. It comes with two patties, and I was imagining a five guys or shake shack style patty. These patties were significantly thicker than those. And had WAAAY too little salt. They were basically a flavor black hole in the center of the burger. But the pickles were excellent, the bacon was better than it needed to be (a thicker cut, cooked to perfection), and the sauce was flavorful. All together, the other toppings overcame the fact that the patties had no flavor. They had four or five tables; only one other table was taken at the time and the felt fairly sleepy, but we were also there at 11:00 or so, so we were early for lunch. read more

Our kids love it, and we stay entertained by trying all sorts of new combinations on our burgers (e.g., throw on a fried egg and jalapenos with chimichurri sauce). Went here with friends, we didn't know which burger place we wanted to go and chose Social Burger. The atmosphere feels homey and the food is on the wall neatly organized. The cashier was very kind and easygoing and helpful with our custom orders. The french fries and burgers I cannot even properly rate because if 5/5 is the best the burger is at least a 7 here if I'm being honest. It tastes looks and smells like a homemade burger but elevated to the highest degree. Definitely would come back again and bring more friends. Pricing is 12$ a burger however I will say for the size taste and experience I have to give this one a huge stamp of approval. They also have shakes, strawberry, chocolate, cookies n creme. I have reviewed this place a few times in the past. I started with a 4 star, and then moved to a 3 star. I was interested in trying them again since they are local to me and want to support my community. I am happy to report, the 4 star is back! And what changed? Well, first of all, the burger was well seasoned, unlike some previous visits where it was bland. And, equally important, the burger was moist, which can get tricky when you cook your burgers Well Done. So, the style of fully cooking the burger is the only reason I cannot issue a 5 star as I am an individual that prefers their burgers cooked Medium Rare to Medium ... as the flavor profile of such burgers is so much better. Tasty burger place in Vienna. I ate inside and they have a few tables but it's not huge inside so it seemed to be a mix of eating there and to go orders. They have a choice of several interesting burgers or you can build your own which is what I did. The burgers are large and perfectly cooked with lots of fresh toppings. You can't go wrong with pickles, lettuce, onions, mustard and the sauteeed mushrooms are worth the extra cost. They were flirting with disaster when they gave me the wrong cheese but it was cheddar rather than the Swiss I ordered so it was alright. The regular fries are thin and crispy fries served hot and fresh, there's plenty of fries for two to share. The shakes sounded good but I was too full to try this trip. A good burger is always so satisfying, especially on a cold day.  We were very happy with the burgers and the service at Social Burger.  Although it was cold outside, they managed to keep the little quick served spot pretty toasty inside.  So, once a new customer came in and the door swung shut, it warmed up pretty quickly.  On this visit, we tried the social burger which was really big and had super crispy jalapenos.  We also liked the regular cheeseburger and the baby bella burger which was a nice combination with the balsamic vinegar.  On the side, we tried both the waffle sweet potato fries and the regular fries.  Both were good and it would be hard to choose if we could only get one next time.  One of us had a cake shake which was very good while the rest of us opted for water seeing the size of the burgers and knowing that we would need room to finish them.   The staff was very friendly and there is parking although the lot isn't huge.  Be careful of ice on the sidewalks during the winter.  When we were there, it probably could have been cleared a little better and we had to step carefully. read more

On the menu you can literally choose anything you want to make the burger any creation you want. They have chicken as well, but because I got the burger this time it's what I want to focus on. I was greeted with a nice welcoming hello as I walked in. The lady at the register asked if I knew what I want and when I said no she gave me the time and space to make my decisions without rushing me. Now maybe that would have been a different story had it been the lunch hour rush, but I was there prior to that. I got the Nickster (Double Patty) with bacon, American cheese, provolone, and lettuce with an order of hand cut fries. The burger was cooked to perfection as were the fries. My fave burger joint probably in the Tyson's area. Sadly though, I just don't always make it out this way - there are two other burger joints closer to me, one of them being Shake Shack, so this feels more out of the way. But it's such a treat to come here - I love the burger, the bun, all of it! Their topping and sauce choices are so much better than Shake Shack, and I think their presentation is so much better, it comes out on a fluffy non-smushed bun, with a carefully placed patty. Five Guys, I hate so much they smush a perfectly good burger only to wrap it in aluminum foil. When you open it back up, the bun is flattened and everything has been steaming, unless you open it ASAP, but even then. Shake Shack haphazardly places their bun sideways in a paper wrapper and just slide a patty in between, making the patty not perfectly positioned onto the bun, also making it less enjoyable to eat with the patty and bun both slightly misaligned. It is so hard to place a burger patty on top of a bun and not do too much to it, people?! read more

Came here on a weekday lunch break. I was simply just looking for a good burger spot around the area and landed here. I love finding a good burger where its a step above fast food burgers. It's a pretty small shop (or complex) so its not necessarily a place to dine-in. The interior has about 4 tables (two two-seaters and two-four seaters) with barstool seating along the window and on the right side. Service was friendly, but really just a brief interaction delivering my order. I ordered the Social Burger which was about $13. Fries were an additional $4 for a total of about $18.50. The price doesn't sound ideal but 1) burgers aren't cheap anymore and 2) I felt like it was a good amount of value for the price. The Social Burger has two patties, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, the social burger house sauce, and fried jalapeños. You could spend way less if you build your own burger. The burger itself was excellent, however, I didn't really taste the fried jalapeños. The hand cut fries were crispy and paired well with the many sauces they had. I got to try the house-made ranch and cherry cola bbq sauce and both were delicious. Many others worth trying for sure. Other observations I had were: - Accessible parking - The menu has many other options besides burgers - Banana pudding milkshake sounds intriguing but for $8 made me think twice Overall, a great experience. Came here on Father's Day, all meself as it was more convenient at the time. Sufficient parking in the lot outside. Restaurant is located within a small complex. I don't remember the burger I had, but seems like it was single-patty and came with lettuce, tomato, onions -- the whole works. I also ordered fries on the side and a Strawberry Shake, purely on a whim. Seating is scarce, and at least some of the seating was in direct sunlight. There is both bar seating (bit uncomfortable) and table-style seating for two or four, a bit more convenient. I chose table seating with four chairs, and that might have earned me some side-looks, but I didn't really mind. The seating was carefully chosen in a calculated effort to avoid getting a full-body tan under the full swing of the mid-day sun. Burger was excellent, but nothing spectacular. Shake hit the spot on a warm sunny day and slaked the thirst. I dined inside and chose a spot in the shaded interior. Picked up ketchup in those small cups, and napkins in the serving table. Food was good and filling, and hit the spot. All in all, would recommend swinging by, and will likely be back myself. read more

I've had it with Five Guys's outrageous prices and decided to finally give a local burger spot a try. I guess I got lucky, because Social Burger was the first place I tried, and I was blown away. My burger and fries I received were surprisingly similar to Five Guys (fresh burger and hand cut fries), but I found my burger here to be bigger, the food was better, the toppings were better, burger was better assembled, bun was better, and somehow it was CHEAPER than my beloved Five Guys. I'll now be taking my business here as this local spot had better food, bigger burgers, and very fair prices. Fries were outstanding too, I prefer the thinner cut here over the thicker cut at five guys, and they really did taste better here in my opinion. The best fast casual and oh so healthy and yummy spot! LOVE supporting a diverse owned small business! As soon as you walk in you feel welcomed. Stopped by for lunch with my fiancée as we were in the area. A little cramped inside with limited seating though this wasn't a problem as it wasn't too busy when we were there. We both got standard cheeseburgers with various toppings, and my fiancée also tried the special, which was a holiday ham sandwich on ciabatta. We also got fries and a drink. We tried all of the juices and they were great! Especially the strawberry watermelon. Pretty sweet, but light and refreshing at the same time. The fries were a tad overcooked and tasted like oil on their own. Dipped in the house made social sauce, however, they were fantastic. The burgers were good, though the patties are thin and the toppings plentiful, so I had to scrape off lots of my toppings to get an evenly balanced bite. I had gotten the bacon jam for $2 extra - they certainly give you your money's worth, but this type of jam was not for me. It looked like pureed meat and was a paste texture. I also got caramelized onions and found them too undercooked and crunchy for my taste. The house made pickles, while also pretty crunchy, were delicious and I wish I had stuck with just that topping!
