Good American restaurant with lots of hearty meat dishes and veggie burger. I enjoyed the open-faced veggie burger (I believe it's house-made) topped with guacamole on a soft roll with a side of Caesar salad. The burger tasted fresh (I believe it's made in-house) and filling. I've been to the sister cafe, Best Buns, many times and glad to finally to try out Patsy's. Will be back!
This was our second time at Patsy's American, and we are still fans. Second visit: I had the fried buttermilk chicken salad, Nice amount of chicken and fresh salad. My friend got the filet mignon which she enjoyed. Brian was an excellent server, making sure we had everything we need, handled several requests with promptness and professionalism, and had our bread pudding dessert decorated with "Happy Birthday" for my friend. First time: I had the lobster roll which came heaped with lobster chunks. I had to eat the lobster for a while before I could pick it up or risk the lobster falling out - so nice not to be hungry after getting a lobster roll! It came with a generous serving shoestring fries - really good and grilled corn on the cob. We had Aracely and Delilaha, two friendly and wonderful waitstaff, one of whom was being trained and the other had been there for years. My friend told them that it was my birthday, and they came out later with a scoop of vanilla ice cream with happy birthday written in chocolate and a candle in whipped cream. I was also impressed how even a straw wrapper sitting on the table was scooped up by someone coming by. The tall ceilings gave the restaurant an open, airy atmosphere. Next door is the associated bakery where they have cupcakes, pastries, cinnamon rolls, and other lovely treats.
Met a friend for early dinner on a Sunday. It was my first time here and was pleasantly surprised. Its a big venue and although there was a large crowd it wasnt loud or overwhelming. We split a dozen order of oysters which were good. I ordered their house margarita which was decent but tasted as if it was pre made. My entree was fish special with fried leeks. The entree was standout part of the meal. We had a great time and would recommend this place!
I've been to several restaurants in the Great American Restaurants (GAR) group, and I have to say that they are so very consistent! Great Food, Great Service, and a lively atmosphere to enhance your dining experience! I was in Tyson's and couldn't resist stopping in to grab my favorite salmon dish. I decided to sit at the bar and ordered a sweet iced tea, the smoked stack salmon and a side of spinach. The service was fast and the foot came out perfectly just like it does every single time! Fortunately I was able to get in and out before the crazy Saturday night crowd rolled in and it was PACKED when I left. Always a good meal here at Patsy's!
Really enjoyed my Friday night dinner at the bar. Everyone I chatted with while sitting at the bar raved about various dishes, wines and cocktails on the menu, and I only wished I could have tried more while I was there. I chose the Tex Mex Eggrolls and a half dozen oysters as starters, and the Steak Frites with fries and a salad for my entree. The Mango martini was a little too sweet for me but tasted very fresh. The Raspberry Lemon Drop Martini on the other hand was just right -- the perfect balance of tart and sweet. Unless you just really love fried bread, I'd skip the Ozzie Rolls to save room for other yummy things.
Stopped by for dinner this evening. Despite being busy for pre-Mothers Day, I was able to find a seat at the 2nd bar. If you've never been, this place is Huge: I believe there are 3 bars, in addition to the various dining areas. House Old-fashioned- im not a fan of very sweet cocktails, so I requested the maple to be lessened. Very good. House margarita- very good. Standard. Lobster Crabcake - sooo good. Juicy chunks of lobster throughout the Crabcake. The accompanying light salad was zesty and refreshing. Seasonal cheesecake- blueberry compote as a topping. Aauuughhhllll, Homer Simpson drool. Everything was tasty and the service was Excellent.
Omg who knew this place was open late with great food and drinks. The drink prices were reasonable and the drinks were delicious. Service was attentive and exceptional. I love this chain and their food brings me back every time! The scene is poppin! I loved it
I don't know what it is about the GAR, but I am always craving their salads. Patsy's is one of my favorites of the restaurants and they give you a very big portion. My favorite here is obviously the chop house salad that I always get with a added protein. I prefer the salmon as a protein but their chicken here is very crispy. A great spot to take friends and family, I always suggest this restaurant as a recommendation when asked.
Popped in for lunch as this was recommended by a friend. Arrived around 12:30pm on a Wed and the wait was 15-20. Asked for phone number to text when table was ready and it took closer to 30 not a big deal. Nice menu with various options. Went with the short stack salmon salad and it was amazing! Salmon cooked well and the salad was crisp and fresh. My colleague got the fried chicken sandwich and they were Happy. Just note it comes with pickles. Service was ok, nothing to write home about. After taking the order we weren't checked in on again amd a different person assisted with closing out the check. I loved the decor as the mural I was facing had a bunch of famous people painted - or at least their likeness. Whoopi Goldberg, jack Nicholson, Sarah Jessica Parker and many more. The restrooms were also super nice, loved the decor and the locks that clearly state occupied or vacant. And it's full floor to ceiling wall coverage. I'd recommend for lunch and enjoyed the meal. If in the neighborhood I'd stop back in to try other items.
This is my go to suggestion for folks new to the Vienna/Tysons area; I frequent Silverado too--one of their sister restaurants in Annandale. I suggested a friend, new to the area, meet me here for lunch. She really liked it. Of course, we got the Ozzie rolls which are legendary; basically fried donuts. Everybody loves them. It's a lovely idea that they only charge a dollar and it goes to animal welfare. I wasn't very hungry, so I got the pasta primavera with vegetables, not expecting much. It was delicious! I ate more than I expected because it was so good. My friend got the crabcakes and enjoyed them. Two are served and she took one home because she couldn't finish her meal. They usually have a fish of the day, which is always nice. This time they had a fish I had not heard of, so I elected to choose the pasta. I have ordered drinks here before and the alcoholic beverages are very good. As I recall, they're also pretty reasonably priced. The atmosphere is lovely. The ladies' room is really very nice an odd comment, but worth stating. The only thing I don't like is the restaurant seems to use team waiters. They're all very nice, but it's a little disconcerting to have different people all the time and you don't know who to ask for something if you need to. It usually works out, it's just a little odd. Yes, this is a local chain, but it is consistent and one of the few all American restaurants in the area.
After a busy morning we stopped in here for lunch. We were able to make a reservation but opted to sit at the bar, it's March madness! We were greeted rather promptly, overall the service was pretty good! The espresso martini was good, I love baileys in mine so it was no doubt I wasn't not gonna order this. He had the margarita, I recall him uttering it was perfect! The fritters were excellent. I mean, the most delicious sauce, texture, chunks of seafood. Each bite with the salsa? A party. You're inclined to lick the plate. The salmon entree was so amazing. The most beautiful grill, warm center, flavor was out of this world. I was disappointed in two pieces of asparagus, what I'm supposed to do with that? There should've been at least 4 pieces, help me meat my vegetable quota for the day! The mash was good too, it didn't give box. To wrap up our meal, we had the bread pudding. Wow wow wow, the edges were crispy and the raspberry syrup tangy and sweet profile made every bite irresistible. We would absolutely return. Aside from the food being grate, the prices are wonderful. Like whose cocktails are less than 15 bucks these days? THESE GUYS!
Ordered the French Dip which was 9/10. Delicious prime rib with a couple chewy bits . The service was attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is nice but it is loud. Nice booth seating. Lots of parking but busy parking lot. The menu is ok- pretty limited in my opinion. Could use some new ideas. Lots of salad choices.
As always, Patsy's did not disappoint! The food and drinks were on par & delish! They were crazy busy but our party of four still had excellent service from Stefanie! We started off with drinks: wine, beer, Bourbon Smash & an Espresso Martini, my bev du jour! With our cocktails we had ahi tuna sushi & ahi tuna tartare from Randy's menu, Tex Mex egg rolls & of course, some infamous Ozzie rolls. For our entrees we go crab cakes, mahi mahi, drunken ribeye with a chopped salad, and a hickory smoked bbq burger. Deeeeeelish! For dessert we shared the chocolate waffle & the Pavlova. Great food, great drinks & excellent service all the way around & a most wonderful time was had by all!
Fine dining at an affordable price with delicious food!! It was our first time here for Father's Day with my husband, and everything we ordered was so good. The raspberry lemon drops were really good, but a little too strong for me so my husband ended up finishing mine. The crab and shrimp fritters were different from what I would usually order, but they were surprisingly delicious. My husband's Louisiana pasta was so flavorful and very filling. We really enjoyed everything and I definitely want to come back to try more things on the menu! read more

You know I can never pass up a GAR meal. Between the Ozzie Rolls to start and a hearty entrée, it's always a solid dining experience. We started with the calamari, which was crispy, flavorful, and paired really well with the lobster ginger sauce (need more of it on the side, please!). We also ordered the Hot Spinach and Artichoke Dip, but unfortunately it wasn't very hot. It came out mildly warm, so it wasn't as melty and gooey as we were expecting. For my entrée, I had the Short Smoked Salmon Filet, and it was cooked to a perfect medium. The Creole mustard sauce added great flavor, and the mash was creamy. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the asparagus. I wish there had been an option to sub it for another side. The restaurant is spacious, with plenty of parking both out front and in the side garage. Our server was attentive and kept the Ozzies coming! read more

As always, Patsy's did not disappoint! The food and drinks were on par & delish! They were crazy busy but our party of four still had excellent service from Stefanie! Checking off another GAR restaurant off our list. Very similar to other GAR spots, they have their signature Drunken Ribeye, Crab and Shrimp Fritters and bread basket that was great as always. I switched it up and also tried the Roasted Chicken which was juicy and tender with a delicious brown butter sauce. Service is always great as always. I love this place! Make sure you go to the very back bar! It is almost like a whole other restaurant, I love that they have that separate space. The main restaurant is also very well done with a lot of open space and a ton of seating! I still recommend making a reservation because it is such a popular pick. The menu is super diverse so everyone in your group is bound to find something that they like. The kitchen does a great job of how they're prepare the meals. The ingredients are fresh and the presentation is well done. Our server was so personable and awesome! He really hustled to make sure that we had everything we needed read more
We were tryna go Tyson's mall on Black Friday but the roads were so backed up we decided to get food instead. So we looked on Google Maps and Yelp and found Patsys. I love to combine both and if they have good rating on both it's usually good. We arrived and went in, tryna watch the eagles game and the at same time. Host told us that the front was more for dining and if we go into the back there's a sports bar. That's when I realized how big this restaurant is. It's very spacious and cozy at the same time. The staff are very friendly and personable. Now the food. The lobster roll was market price but wasn't expensive. Maybe around $30. The corn was amazing. The fries were good. The lobster roll was average to be honest. I tried lobster roll at Salty Girl in Boston and that's what I'm comparing it to so it might not be fair. I really haven't had a lobster roll in the DMV that compares to Salty Girl though. read more

We decided to go to Patsy's for a work lunch to celebrate a coworker's birthday. - Wood Grilled Chicken Breast - Warm White Chocolate Bread Pudding - Ozzie Rolls -- provided upon request I recommend making a reservation just in case because it was quite busy and crowded during lunch time. They usually give us a plate of Ozzie Rolls a moment after we are seated, but this time we had to ask for them so don't miss out! Overall, the food and service were good. read more

Met up with friends for drinks and food at the back bar and as always the vibes and company were great. The drinks are solid, and I ordered the crab cake entrée. It was delicious, the only downside was the fries weren't hot. Overall, still a great spot for good drinks, good food, and relaxed energy with friends. read more
Very beautiful place! Arrived at 11:50, nearest available booth 1:00. Hint: bar is open seating...including the bar in the back!!!! Quick service & the staff was great, we did have a wait for our checks -but it was really packed ! read more
They have an amazing happy hour and a separate dining area for events. We went on Easter Sunday and they did an amazing job with food and service. They are consistently good with food, service, and Ozzie rolls. Would recommend for any occasion read more

Can't rave about it enough. Staff was so exceptionally nice and pleasant. The decor was absolutely gorgeous. And the food was sublime. The hickory bbq burger was a perfect blend of sweet and smoky. My waiter suggested the brussle sprouts for an are and he was right! Even the goat cheese salad couldn't have been better, I cleaned the plate. read more

Even though I live in the DMV, I'm not very familiar with the Tysons Corner area, so I reached out to a former boss who lives nearby to get her recommendation. She suggested Patsy's and I'm really glad she did. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and clearly on top of everything, which immediately set the tone for a great experience. The food was excellent definitely top-notch, though a bit on the pricey side but worth it overall. What really stood out, though, was a young man named Henry, who was working as a food runner. As someone who's naturally outgoing, I struck up a conversation with him, and he left a lasting impression. For just 18, he carried himself with confidence, warmth, and professionalism. You can tell he has a bright future ahead of him. Places like this should hold on to people like Henry he truly elevated the entire experience. Thank you for a memorable evening. read more
Patsy's is one of those spots that if you know, you know. If you've ever been to Mike's or Coastal Flats, you already know what to expect. Food done right. I don't think I've had anything from here that I didn't like, from the main entrees to the sides. Whether you dine in, sit at the bar, or order some take out, I don't think you'll be disappointed. read more

This was our first stop for our visit back home to the DMV and Patsy's didn't disappoint. Our server, Andrew was fantastic. He recommended the crab cakes sub slaw for corn and I still remember my first bite. The sautéed crab cakes are a must! Portions were great and the food was hot and flavorful. We started off with the Fritters for our app and I understand the hype. The batter is crispy and the seafood is so fresh. Those are a *must try* as well! Ny bf loved his prime rib sandwich due to the size and flavor. Aside for the great service, the interior is beautiful! You feel like you're transitioning into another era. You have to try this if you're ever in the area. Thank you Patsy's! We'll be back soon :) read more

If you're looking for a lively, very active atmosphere with some deliciously good food. Then I have the perfect place for you... Patsy's American should be at the top of your list. The service is awesome and the environment is bubbling over with patrons enjoying themselves throughout the establishment. The must have if you're into fish, is the Salmon. I have to admit, it's the most flavorful Salmon I tasted point blank. And the seafood tower comes with an assortment of treats ( even though for whatever reason they didn't have vinegar) and to close out the show, if you're the dessert after dinner type... then dive right into their warm bread pudding topped with ice cream!!! read more

Food, Service, Ambiance = 10/10 every time! I stopped into Patsy's after seeing them on TikTok and I'll get straight to it, it's worth the hype! Patsy's is consistent when it comes to delicious food that won't break the bank. I've tried an array of dishes from their menu and I've devoured each one. For starters try the Tex Mex Eggrolls and Blue Crab and Shrimp Fritters. Both are crispy on the outside, bursting with flavor in the inside with sauces that take them to the next level. For entrees try the Roasted Half Young Chicken and Short Smoked Salmon Filet. The chicken is enough to feed you now and later. The corn salsa adds flavor and adding the brown butter sauce on the side will top it off. The salmon was incredible. It was cooked to perfection. The raspberry lemon drop martini is a must, along with the bread basket (or 3 haha) to accompany your meal. All in all, Patsys delivers great food, consistent service at an unbeatable price. Took the family to the mall and needed a good place to eat. My wife and I remembered Patsy's was across the street and we wanted to give them a try. My wife booked reservations and we were surprised to see that there was nothing available for an hour and a half. When we arrived this place was PACKED!!! I immediately could see why the reservations were so long. The hostess quickly greeted us and checked us in a we still arrived about 20 minutes early and our table wasn't ready yet. Inside gives a lively atmosphere. Large booths for families, and a jumping bar area. Eventually we were seated and placed our orders. My wife ordered the Blue Crab and Shrimp fritters along with Tex Mex egg rolls. She also ordered a raspberry lemon drop. My daughter ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger. My son and I both had the Louisiana pasta and we got a kids Mac and cheese for my two year old. The food came quickly. The Louisiana Pasta was seasoned well and delicious. My son ate his in about 5 minutes. I allowed the flavor to set in but mine was gone in 10 minutes. A good pasta and a nice size portion. My daughter stated her burger was delicious. Tr he softest bun she's ever had on a burger in her life. My wife's food, the egg rolls and Crab/shrimp fritters were ok but my wife said they were missing something. Her raspberry martini was DELCIOUS. She would love to come back for more drinks. Overall we had a good experience. The food was good (at least mine). Service was good. Place was packed. I highly recommend a reservation well in advance as a Saturday is non stop people. We will be back for sure. read more
The service was amazing. The atmosphere was definitely a vibe. The food was just okay though. I got the steak and frites was a bit of a disappointment since my steak was a bit cold and the fries were a bit soggy and sad. The Jambalaya pasta was good though just a bit too salty for my taste. Pretty good service. Came in on a Friday around happy hour. They don't really have a happy hour menu but it was fine. Had some dirty martinis, an order of oysters and the drunken ribeye. Ribeye was great! All delish! I love all the Great American Resturants. Not fancy but not too casual, feels just casual enough. read more
