My boyfriend and I have honestly turned this into one of our favorite date night spots, and I recently came here for my birthday. Every time we come, the experience is always really good. The staff was amazing, our server was super nice, and I genuinely enjoyed my whole night here. Everything we ordered was delicious. One of my favorite things here is the seafood fried rice, or whatever the exact name is lol, but it is SO good every single time. I also tried some steak this time and for somebody who really doesn't even eat steak like that, it was actually really good. And the crème brûlée? Top tier. Definitely one of my favorite desserts there. The atmosphere is always nice for a date night, birthday dinner, or just wanting to go somewhere that feels a little more upscale without being uncomfortable. I'll absolutely be back again. Since my daughter was traveling on Mother's Day, she treated me to an early celebration the Saturday before. We had wanted to try this restaurant for years and finally made it there. We had a 1:00 p.m. reservation and were seated promptly. The setting was lovely with a slight corporate feel but still elegant and welcoming. The service was excellent from start to finish. A complimentary cinnamon scone and a rose for Mother's Day was a thoughtful touch. The whole wheat bread was hearty and delicious and we also enjoyed a wonderful French rosé. Although there was a special Mother's Day menu, we ordered from the regular menu. The Chilean sea bass was prepared Hong Kong style in a flavorful broth with sautéed spinach and pickled ginger. The flavors were excellent, although I think the fish was slightly overcooked because it was a little tough. 4/5. The stuffed shrimp with crab was light, fresh, and not overly buttery or oily, which I appreciated. 4.5/5. The banana foster butter cake was extremely sweet. Even between the two of us we could only finish half, although it was beautifully presented with freshly prepared pistachio ice cream and whipped cream. 4/5. Had an absolutely amazing experience at Eddie V's Prime Seafood for my birthday this afternoon! From the moment we arrived, everything felt upscale, welcoming, and well-orchestrated. The service was truly exceptional -- special shout-out to our waitress Nancy, who made my birthday extra special. She was attentive, warm, and knowledgeable about the menu. She did not rush us at all, and the pacing of the meal was perfect -- our food came to the table at just the right time so we could relax and fully enjoy each course. The food was delicious. Eddie V's has been a favorite of mine for years now. When I worked in Tyson's Corner I came here frequently for special occasion work lunches. I was in the area with my current manager and insisted we have lunch here. This was my manager's first-time dining at Eddie V's. He is now a fan of this establishment and has returned multiple times. The crab fried rice is always a favorite with any group I dine here with. The calamari are also delicious. I've enjoyed the shrimp and scallops many times, but honestly all of the seafood is worth ordering. I just expected the food to be more tasty from an 5 star quality restaurant. Danielle was our sever and she was great. We decided to try it for Valentine's Day as this one was extra special; this will be our last Valentine's with just us two before the arrival of our son Teo We made reservations which we highly suggest as there were others who made reservations but forgot or didn't make reservations at all and had to be turned away. I'll break this review down into several parts for easy reading. I'll also preface this review by saying this was our first time coming to Eddie V's but we love a good fine dining experience! Location: Eddie V's is located inside of an unassuming office building. It is on the second level and it will almost feel like you are in the wrong place but it has a brown door and an EV letter sign to let you know where the entrance is close to the elevators. Parking: On our way to the location we saw several parking garages, but they also have a valet parking service that allows you to pay online. Our Vallet Marco was very nice and helpful :) Atmosphere: The atmosphere here is upscale fine dining, but they do not enforce the dress code policy as heavily as you would think. I saw everything here in between from hoodies and suits to cocktail dresses and tuxedos. I even saw a lady dressed in what looked to be a custom-made suit that was red with pearls all over! However, this did not take away from the overall Vibe of the place but I feel some people could have put forth more effort in their attire before coming here. Service: Our server was wonderful and actually made our experience one that we won't soon forget. Tony was super cool in both his approach when we first met, during our visit offering feedback and suggestions on things we might be interested in, even to closing out the tab and providing my wife with a rose to end the night on a romantic note. You can really tell when people are passionate and love what they do and he said just that. "Honesty, I love my job!" With a certain level of coolness. He also made sure to check on us throughout our visit without us having to ask and make sure we were happy with everything. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted and seated at a table decorated thoughtfully for my hubby's birthday. The restaurant is beautiful and it provided the upscale atmosphere we desired. Well let me get to the food, outstanding. I apologize as I only took one pic. We had the seafood tower for an appetizer. I had the filet Oscar, which is filet mignon with lump crabmeat and bernaise sauce. My hubby had the filet and lobster. We ordered the mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts for our shared sides. I also ordered the wedge salad. The wedge salad was not my favorite, but it does not take away from the overall 5 star dining experience. The service was good but I must highlight, Oscar, who was not even our server but he provided us outstanding customer service. Our filets were perfect! He was so nice and attentive. I hope management sees this review and Oscar is recognized. It was crowded, so I suggest making a reservation, which I did online. We also had drinks. I think I had the 24, sooo good. Went there on a Sunday for lunch. I was informed the lunch menu wasn't available on Sunday though. Got seated right away in the dining room. The server Steven was very attentive and checked in a couple times since I was having trouble deciding on an entree. Through out the meal he checked on me even when other large parties had come in and refilled my iced tea 3 times. The sour dough bread was quite good and came nice and warm. I asked if they had half portions on the sides and they do. I got the 10oz filet and a small creamy mashed potatoes and small truffle Mac and cheese. Even the small portions were way too much for me to eat so I took the majority of the sides home. I ordered the filet medium and it came out perfectly cooked. While it was a little bit salty it certainly wasn't a deal breaker and over all was delicious. I'm fairly new to fine dining so this could change in the future but it was the best filet I'd ever had. Fantastic crust and super tender. Barely needed the knife. The mashed potatoes were quite good. Creamy and surprisingly peppery but not spicy. The truffle mac and cheese was decent and the truffle added a different flavor to it. More creamy than cheesy but the pasta was cooked very well. Not too hard not too soft. After packing up the sides Steven asked if I wanted dessert and they had creme brûlée so I had to get it. The custard was very delicious. Super smooth with a subtle vanilla flavor. The berries on top were ripe and complimented it very well. The dish it came in was also surprising deep so there was a lot and I could have easily shared with another person. It also came with 2 chocolate cookies. The bill layout was this: 1 iced tea 4.75$ 1 10z filet 60$ 1 small truffle Mac 13$ 1 small mashed potatoes 9$ 1 crème brûlée 14$ Total with tax 106.80$ The small side dishes weren't quite half the price of the regular size, about 5$ off each. Over all it was very good. I wish I could put 4.5 stars because the sides while good weren't spectacular and the filet was a tad salty and anyone with salt sensitivity would notice easily. We came here on a Friday night and had such a great experience! We arrived for our 7:30PM reservation and were seated shortly after arrival. Our waitress was very kind, engaging, attentive, and prompt with her service. We started our night off with the Point Judith Calamari, which was very tasty. The pairing of the Ginger Soy Sauce with the seared veggies and perfectly battered calamari was simply delicious. As we ate our calamari, the live band played in the background which added to the exceptional ambiance. For the main course, we both had the bone in ribeye, which was perfectly cooked at medium with the asparagus and the truffled Mac and Cheese. The ribeye was pretty good and the Mac and cheese had a unique flavor, sort of an acquired taste. We ended the night with the banana foster butter cake (a dish that generally wouldn't be my first selection), which absolutely delicious! We made reservations for two about a week out, and we were seated on the bar side. Our server was Tony, who was both energetic, helpful, and friendly.
