Eddie V's truly delivers a premier steakhouse and seafood experience. The food is consistently outstanding--the crab cake is a standout, and the Brussels sprouts, salmon, and shrimp were all perfectly prepared and full of flavor. What really sets this location apart is the service. The entire team creates a first-class experience without ever feeling pretentious. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and Kimberly went above and beyond by taking so many great photos for us. Our servers--Steven, Gustavo, and Juan--provided exceptional, attentive care throughout the evening, and the manager even stopped by to make sure everything was perfect (it absolutely was). Gustavo also deserves a special mention for taking fantastic group photos. On a separate occasion, Cynthia at the front desk also demonstrated the highest level of professionalism and service, which really speaks to the consistency of the team. From start to finish, Eddie V's offers not just a great meal, but a memorable, elevated dining experience. Highly recommend!

I'm not sure what got into me . This is truly our favorite restaurant . Love their Sea bass , Calamari appetizer, Seared Salmon , Truffle Mac ! Also the warmth of the manager Kevin! always makes our evening special as he consistently stops by most tables it seems, and personalizes each party's experience. The 3 piece band in the lounge each weekend is really neat . But my husband ... Just look at that man.

Had an absolutely amazing experience at Eddie V's Prime Seafood for my birthday this afternoon! From the moment we arrived, everything felt upscale, welcoming, and well-orchestrated. The service was truly exceptional -- special shout-out to our waitress Nancy, who made my birthday extra special. She was attentive, warm, and knowledgeable about the menu. She did not rush us at all, and the pacing of the meal was perfect -- our food came to the table at just the right time so we could relax and fully enjoy each course. The food was delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked and very tender. My favorite was the crab fried rice -- absolutely full of flavor. My husband's favorite was the au gratin cheddar potatoes. We also highly recommend the stuffed shrimp with crab meat -- definitely a must-order. The surprise birthday dessert topped it all off -- a rich butter cake caramelized with bananas, flambéed tableside, and served with creamy butter pecan ice cream, housemade whipped cream, and a chocolate cookie. It was incredible and such a memorable touch. We will definitely be back. Be sure to make a reservation -- they are always booked for a reason. Highly recommend for special occasions and anyone wanting a top-tier dining experience.

Eddie V's has been a favorite of mine for years now. When I worked in Tyson's Corner I came here frequently for special occasion work lunches. I was in the area with my current manager and insisted we have lunch here. This was my manager's first-time dining at Eddie V's. He is now a fan of this establishment and has returned multiple times. The crab fried rice is always a favorite with any group I dine here with. The calamari are also delicious. I've enjoyed the shrimp and scallops many times, but honestly all of the seafood is worth ordering. I've only been here for business lunches, but it would be great for special occasions or a fancy date night. The staff are always top tier completing the upscale experience.

Gotta say, I really love this restaurant group. I've been to 6 locations now across the country. All of them are just amazing places to enjoy a meal and drinks. Very professional staff and relaxed environment. Go see Gary at this particular location. One of the hardest working bar tenders I've ever seen. Looking forward to visiting again.

Chilean Sea Bass - perfecting cooked. Delightful dish

Ambiance: dark vibes. Very busy on a Wednesday. Large dining area and a few smaller a private dining rooms available. Service: great waitress that made awesome recommendations. She was on point with everything! Food: one of the best restaurants that often gets overlooked. It has been in Tysons for awhile but not too many people talk about it. I had the sea bass which was steamed perfectly. The sauce wasn't too overpowering to the fish. I loved this dish. My friend had scallops which was cooked perfectly as well. Our side was the outstanding crab fried rice with chunks of crabmeat. You can taste the delicious butter sauce. Appetizer was the calamari- lightly battered and fried. It was on a bed of crispy noodles and this carrot slaw and peanuts. It was a big app and I thought I wasn't going to be able to finish my main but the sea bass was so good I had to kill it!!! Definitely a great dinner!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Eddie Vs. we had been to other locations before and this one was beautiful. The decor and the layout were stunning. The service staff were impeccably dressed, friendly and diligent. Thank you to Nancy and Mauricio for their spectacular service. The only downfall was that all the food (except the lobster taco appetizer) was under seasoned and needed a sprinkle of salt. Other than that, our meal and experience was spectacular. We will definitely be back to enjoy again - and hope it is even better next time.

Food was amazing on both occasions. Lobster lollipops - served room temp, 5 mini tempura battered lobster bites, tender and tasty. Jumbo lump crab cake - delicious, little to no filler, lump crab meat, big crab cake. Ribeye - cooked mw, was cooked perfectly, tender and juicy. Rockefeller oysters - delicious lightly crispy top, buttery and rich. Brussels sprouts - tender sweet and slightly spicy , absolutely delicious. Banana foster butter cake and butter pecan ice cream - i did not care for this dessert, however; butter pecan ice cream is my favorite so i enjoyed that. Atmosphere: upscale vibe, live jazz band, nice modern decor and feel. Service was average.

I'm not exaggerating when I say this, but this is one of my favorite restaurants in the DMV. I am a repeated customer here and I love the vibe. I love the food. I also love how consistent the customer service is. I highly recommend this place for a high-end date night or birthday celebration.

Sides: truffles mac n cheese and crab fried rice

Good food and great service at those restaurant located at Tysons Corner. It's a bit pricey and we were fortunate to have a great server. We wetter here celebrating my wife's retirement and our server went above and beyond getting her a rose and making dessert with Congratulations. The calamari appetizer was lightly breaded and there were sauce on the side. Wished more saucewas provided as accompanying noodles were bland. Caesar Salad was good. Surprised steak came out bare but we did order sides. The truffles mac n cheese were good but I definitely enjoyed the crab fried rice more. Scallop entrée was great. Good place to go for celebration.

I'm giving 3 star because I expected a little more pertaining to the food. I deliberately chose the happy hour time to just experience the happy hour, which wasn't bad at all. I just expected the food to be more tasty from an 5 star quality restaurant. Danielle was our sever and she was great. I ordered the oyster Rockefeller and lobster bites from the happy hour it was okay I had better oysters . I also ordered the crab cake and it was good. The lamb chops were delicious, the mac and cheese was decent to me others in my party wasn't to fond of it. The drinks are expensive but was really good I ordered the Cadillac Margarita. The atmosphere was good, we sat close to the bar the lighting was dark in that area. It was bad lighting for pictures. The parking is great you can park in garage right beside restaurant. The staff were friendly, I will visit again and try other dishes.

We went to this venue for a birthday celebration and the food was amazing. We had the salmon and the crab stuffed shrimp. Everything was amazing the manager Kevin Flynn was the best. He checked on us. The ambiance with the band was top tier. I will definitely be back to celebrate.

My wife and I were super excited to try this place! We decided to try it for Valentine's Day as this one was extra special; this will be our last Valentine's with just us two before the arrival of our son Teo We made reservations which we highly suggest as there were others who made reservations but forgot or didn't make reservations at all and had to be turned away. I'll break this review down into several parts for easy reading. I'll also preface this review by saying this was our first time coming to Eddie V's but we love a good fine dining experience! Location: Eddie V's is located inside of an unassuming office building. It is on the second level and it will almost feel like you are in the wrong place but it has a brown door and an EV letter sign to let you know where the entrance is close to the elevators. Parking: On our way to the location we saw several parking garages, but they also have a valet parking service that allows you to pay online. Our Vallet Marco was very nice and helpful :) Atmosphere: The atmosphere here is upscale fine dining, but they do not enforce the dress code policy as heavily as you would think. I saw everything here in between from hoodies and suits to cocktail dresses and tuxedos. I even saw a lady dressed in what looked to be a custom-made suit that was red with pearls all over! However, this did not take away from the overall Vibe of the place but I feel some people could have put forth more effort in their attire before coming here. Service: Our server was wonderful and actually made our experience one that we won't soon forget. Tony was super cool in both his approach when we first met, during our visit offering feedback and suggestions on things we might be interested in, even to closing out the tab and providing my wife with a rose to end the night on a romantic note. You can really tell when people are passionate and love what they do and he said just that. "Honesty, I love my job!" With a certain level of coolness. He also made sure to check on us throughout our visit without us having to ask and make sure we were happy with everything. We even asked him for personal recommendations on two separate occasions throughout our visit once for my drink choice and for our dessert choices. Both were awesome recommendations that we loved! If you see this Tony just know you are the man! We appreciate what you do and we hope to see you on our next visit :) is energy and friendliness made our visit one we won't soon forget! Food: The food here is absolutely top-notch! We started off with drinks. My wife is pregnant so she got a Shirley Temple. I on the other hand opted for a drink called 24 Karat which had a golden sugar rim as well as rose and raspberries. It tasted very good and it was also strong which I appreciated! We both got steak for our entrée. I also got Lobster which was very good! It was flavorful and tender! The honey brussel sprouts with cashews were very delicious. The mashed potatoes were buttery and filling. We loved the bread as well and finished the night off with Banana Foster butter cake that they flambe as well as creme brulee which is one of my wife's favorite desserts! The bill arrived followed by a rose to end our visit. 10 outta 10 experience - SupaFlyITGuy approved!

Ask the Community - Eddie V's Prime Seafood

Is the outdoor area cigar friendly? Looking for a good cocktail and cigar. Thanks.

No if the outdoor area is attached to the building.

    Where to park?

    Valet parking or mall parking

    Does this location offer bison?

    I din't think so.

Chicken at Eddie V's in San Diego?

Unfortunately only on the Kids Menu is there chicken - chicken fingers and chicken breast (at least at the McLean/Tysons location).

Is happy hour at the bar only? Or throughout the restaurant?

    Bar only!

Can you post menu lunch kn Friday ? Is it hard to find parking?

There's free parking at the mall and usually a ton of spots

Where is the best place to sit - bar, high-top, or standard?

I think this depends on your evening and what you are looking for. The bar was packed on a Saturday with a lively atmosphere. I set standard as it was a date. High tops looked lovely as well and were near the bar. All based on preference and the… Read more

    Do they have private rooms?

Eddie Vs San Diego seaport village/headquarters location has private dining rooms.

    Is there valet parking?

    No just garage parking

    What's the parking situation there?

Park in the garage across the street for the mall. It's free and has a bridge to cross. Otherwise, paid parking is under the restaurant.

Do they still have outdoor seating?

I believe Eddie Vs still has limited outside seating, but it was raining when we ate there.

Are kids 4 and 2 allowed?

I dined at Eddie V's on a Saturday and noticed a family with two young kids. It was around 5:30 if that matters. Be aware the restaurant does not have a kids menu.

What is Dress code? Slacks? No jeans?

No dress code that I know of, but it's a nice place with white tablecloth service, so the clientele is a mix of business attire and "smart casual." You'd feel self-conscious if you were too casual.

Reservations - I've been with OpenTable and other restaurant online booking systems for decades but this is a first for me. They have two separate OpenTable listings (as noted in other reviews). I was clear in that i just wanted an after work chill happy hour. I booked for 4:30. After promptly showing up at the wren for my 4:30 appointment I was told, Naisho room doesn't open until 5 pm.... So why did you let me book for 4:30?!?! No explanation. No apology just "you're early..." 2. I promptly dropped $70 for drinks and an appetizer at the Wren bar to hold me and my guests over. It wasn't bad but that's not what I was hoping for... at 4:30. 3. The service to the speakeasy was great. The "gym stag" had our 4:30 and let us in at... 5:03 pm... 4. The waitress inside the speakeasy was super awkward and off putting. She really needs a class on etiquette. I ordered quite a bit right off the bat but my guests slow roll throughout the experience and she didn't seem too happy with that. Taking away our menus doesn't encourage us to order either. You charge $22 for one tea sandwhich but can't afford to print out more menus? The menus were also pretty dingy and I hand sanitized after using them. 5. Food. Was mid at best. Not at all authentic Japanese. I had the oyster shooter, temaki, Wagyu toast, Wagyu quesadilla, and mocktail. The oyster shooter was too sweet. And you could only taste the oyster and caviar at the end. Mostly as an aftertaste. There was a "too sweet" aspect to most of the food. The temaki was okay and I liked the crunchy bits but they went too far with the plastic wrap on the seaweed. The plastic wrap gave me Japanese 7-11 onigiri vibes. You do that if you aren't efficient enough to get the food out to guests at once and the seaweed will get soggy. I'm not sure if it was for a "fun factor" for people who are unfamiliar with grocery store onigiri in Asia but in a restaurant it should be done for you. The Wagyu toast was a HUGE disappointment. It was Sooooo sweet. I filet barely taste anything except the gross, sweet jam. And the toast was soggy and the texture of the bread felt prepared the day before and like refrigerator. It was not toasted at all. The star was the Wagyu quesadilla with beef tendon chips. It was the cheapest item on the menu and the most filling and delicious. 6. Drinks were very good. Expect about $20 a pop... $50 for the Japanese whiskey is highway robbery. Nothing really "rare." I have most bottles on the kitchen counter from the Virginia ABc or DC Costco. You can buy an entire bottle of the Japanese whiskey at Costco for the cost of one serving here. Overall, the Naisho room felt like all hype. For over $100 I was still pretty hungry. If the food tasted good I would have ordered more but I didn't think it was worth it. You get a nice view but it's the same from most of the capital one building. Same view from the brewery. Don't waste your money. Go elsewhere. Plenty of better happy hour spots for much much less considering if you stay for more than two hours you have to pay for parking (we did becuase, well, our reservation was at 4:30...)
