So, I hadn't been to Yard House in yearssss prior to this last visit. I used to come to Yard House every time I was craving a good veggie burger. Needless to say, I stayed the course. We got here late one Friday evening and were seated fairly quickly on their patio. Our waiter was jovial and kind, providing prompt customer service. We started off with the Fried Calamari, which were fried and seasoned well. True to my cravings prompted by Yard House, I of course got the Mediterranean Veggie Burger, which was still a great decision. The flavors of their patty just does it for me. Their sweet potato fries, however, used to be bomb.com but that has since changed. My friend ordered their Lobster Garlic Noodles, which were also really good. Yard House isn't normally my first choice because it's huge, busy, and can be a little overwhelming. But if you're looking for burgers, wings, and beer, it definitely fits the bill. The drink selection is massive! It was pretty busy when we went, but surprisingly not that loud. The only miss was the host stand. We waited patiently while both hosts were busy, but when someone walked in after us, they started helping her first. We had to point out that we had been waiting. We were seated first, but we shouldn't have had to ask. Once seated, the service was fabulous. Our server was in training and did a great job, and his trainer was equally wonderful. I really really really want to say Yard house is the safest bet when we are hungry, but i can't even say that anymore. Service lacks every single time we go there. Bar always has many bartenders which I don't get why service still drags with barely any customers there. I bartend and can handle customers at the bar and tables... and I work with an actual purpose where I want to make money. These bartenders are slow and work like they aren't tip pooling. I ordered a Passion Fruit Spritz and it took a while to come out. I did have to ask for it a second time and my drink came out last. I ordered the Shiitake Garlic Noodles as my entree but it is listed as an appetizer. It was pretty basic which I didn't mind. AMBIANCE: I know YardHouse typically has a HUGEEE space, but i was excited to come to this location. because the springfield location is closer to home, it's the one I have always gone to, but on this day i was trying to watch the world cup game and this location was closest. We went here for the knicks vs spurs nba game and the bar was packed. There was a 25 min wait which I didn't expect for a bar in Tyson's. It's located in the galleria and has free parking which is amazing! We were seated at the booth and were able to watch the game smoothly. During the dinner hours even on a Wednesday, the place was packed, we were asked to wait for 15 mins but were given the table in 5 mins, despite the rush, we were served promptly. Ordered a tap beer, one appetiser - hummus and pita platter - quite sumptuous for 2 people, one entree- Mediterranean Burger with onion rings, enjoyed both. A very good dining experience for lunch on Sunday (12/13/25) afternoon at Noon! Met a couple of friends there and it was a great hangout place to eat and mingle at. Got seated promptly at a booth near the window and close to the bar where we could watch the football games. Our servers were very attentive and respectful. And let me tell you... this place turned my whole night around. Yard House is expansive--a huge bar, plenty of seating, and a lively atmosphere that instantly lifts your mood. We were quickly greeted and moved to a cozy booth in the dining room, and from there the experience only got better. Our first round of drinks came out within minutes. The beer list is wildly impressive, but my old-fashioned was spot on--smooth, balanced, and exactly what I needed. The black pepper glazed wings were fried and tossed to absolute perfection. Crispy, flavorful, and honestly unforgettable. I went with the cheesesteak, cooked perfectly with hot, fresh fries that hit the spot. My dining partner ordered what he called the "pork burger," and he has not stopped talking about it since. We wrapped up with the crème brûlée cheesecake, the perfect sweet ending to a long, chaotic day. It didn't seem too packed for after work but the host made it seem like there was a wait but said he was going to go ahead and seat us. I don't get the appeal of Yard House but that's just me. It's always crowded and loud - the very things that make an experience unenjoyable for me at least. So i expected no less on a Saturday evening at an early-ish time of 5:00 p.m. You have to make reservations or expect a wait. Our party of five was seated at a large booth that could accommodate a total of six. Service was good with the right amount of attention. I went for the healthy option and got the whiskey glazed salmon. I do get salmon a lot and preparation varies among places. A dry salmon is going to be a no in my book but one that is grilled medium like a steak with a slight pink in the center is what I would call perfection. The salmon here was perfection! And oh, there's more glaze on the side if you wanted it. The parmesan mash potatoes were plentiful and the roasted vegetables of carrots and broccolini completed the entree. I would definitely order this dish again. Food and service was 5 star but the crowds and noise didn't give me a cozy feel. If I had a choice, I would not go for the loud atmosphere. My first time here. We came for the happy hour. They have a great selection of food available for the happy hour. It is basic bar food, but worth the HH price. We ordered different items, fried cheese curds, mushroom truffle pizza, buffalo wings, and calamari. I wasn't terribly impressed with the smoked old fashioned, but enjoyed the wine. The buffalo flavored wings was too heavy on the flavor, we wished we ordered a different flavor; the calamari was okay, very basic. The cheese curds and pizza were good. If you go in to this place and meet Dylan you can clearly see his demeanor is childish who allowed him to be a GM should be studied because he ruined our time there in one move. I will be calling the corporate of this establishment to look over how this place is being run because my rib eye was overcooked and salty as all hell!!
