Outstanding service and amazing food and drinks! I had the classic mojito and it came with a sugar cane strip which was classy and nice! Love coastal flats and there employees

Enjoyed lunch with co-workers on Halloween. This is a family-friendly, casual dining restaurant inside Tyson's Corner Mall. If you enter the parking deck near the Hyatt Hotel with Coastal Flats listed at the entrance, you will have a very short walk! Alternatively, it's downstairs from the movie theatre and food court. We ordered calamari, buffalo chicken dip, and blue crab & shrimp fritters. For mains, we had ribeye steaks and chicken salad. Everything was good, except the calamari was very oily. The restaurant was quiet, clean, and welcoming. Our server was kind, and overall we had a pleasant experience.

Everything was great over there, the food, service, ambiance, basically everything, this is a must to dine in for couples or families, prices are decent but the food makes it worth the price and wait, although they don't have a variety of food, the taste of the food and the looks makes things better, 11/10

I went to Coastal Flats for a solo lunch. I kind of had an idea of what I already wanted to order. I was greeted by one person and gave my order to them but then someone else came over and asked if I wanted anything else. The second waiter started talking about the specials but they were so soft spoken it was hard to hear. If you try any of the great American restaurants and they have Ozzie rolls, get them ! They are delicious. I ordered the fish fingers which came with fries and coleslaw. I am not a fan of coleslaw. I should have asked if they could sub that out for something else. My waitress came by once after I got my food to see how it was. I ended up not finishing my meal because I was full from the delicious Ozzie rolls. However my waitress walked past several times and did not interact with me or ask if I needed anything else. I waited 20 minutes before I had to stop her and ask for my check and a box. Not sure if it's worth coming back based on lack of service.

When we come to Tyson's Corner Center to dine, we go to Seasons 52 which is directly across from Coastal Flats, but decided today to check out Coastal Flats for the first time. We arrived at Coastal Flats for lunch at noon on a weekday. We were greeted by friendly people at the host's stand, and were seated fairly quickly. The vibe and decorating is rather similar to Cheesecake Factory. Service from the food runners was very good. Our server did a reasonably adequate job, but there was one thing curious about him. He dropped off the check on our table without a word, picked up our credit cards without a word and dropped our cards and receipts on the table without a word. No thank you or anything. The best deal on the menu has to be the Community bread assortment that goes for a mere $1. That $1 is donated by the restaurant to helping people obtain housing. The assortment was a nice variety and of a generous quantity. The seasoned soft butter that came with the bread was good. We both ordered the Pecan Crusted Trout. The trout was fresh and good. The portion size was large. I was a little surprised that the pecans were not crumbles of pecan pressed into then trout, but instead, whole candied pecans sprinkled atop the trout. The broccolini that came with the trout was good though some of the thicker pieces were undercooked. I think we'll come back, but we prefer Seasons 52 across the corridor.

Coastal Flats = rolls so warm and buttery you almost cry. Service was quiet but efficient--like a ninja who takes your order without judgment. Everyone in our party had very specific food quirks, and they handled it like pros. After a long travel day, I inhaled my warm goat cheese salad like it owed me money. Clean, cozy, and perfect for fast-but-fancy refueling.

Walked in on Father's Day and went to the bar! Service was fantastic and so was the food. If you love SWEET TEA, GET IT! It's so damn good and baby their mango margarita! Oh my lawd! Take a sip of boffum! For me :)

I honestly did not expect outstanding service like this. We had reservations for 5:30 PM and it took longer than usual to get seated for a party of 5 but then again it was Mother's Day... When we walked past other servers and employees we were greeted with soft hospitality, "Welcome! Enjoy your meal.. thank you for coming." I mean I was impressed with this top scale service. The seats and table was glistening they sure do keep the place as clean as possible. I had the crispy fish tacos and they were indeed crispy/ crunchy, paired well with the habanero slaw. No complaints, overall it was a delightful experience.

The ambiance was nice and the staff are very attentive. The food here was pretty typical. Crab cake sliders were good, lobster wasn't overcooked, got the shrimp cocktail and wish the shrimp was smaller bites but no issue there. I was kinda disappointed in the pecan trout, to me, it felt heavily dependent on the sauce to give it flavor and the crust was okay.

I lost count how many times I been here since I frequent Tyson's mall so often and it's one of the few good restaurants there. The food is good but I feel like there isn't alot of variety because I always scan the menu but often go back to what I usually order. The service is great, looks to be a lot of young servers grinding. The ambiance is what you expect it.

Came here for dinner on a Friday night and it was good. We were quickly seated, and we ordered ozzie rolls. They came out hot, but honestly, I feel like I've had better - They were kind of hard. We got the calamari and it wasn't super crunchy. Again the other great American places are a little better. Got the classic roast chicken salad that comes with avocado and it was great. But also super simple and hard to mess up. Overall, a great experience, but would go to another great American restaurant instead, such as Patsy's across the street. This is an easy convenient spot if you're shopping.

Had a great experience! The bartender Stephanie and Wesley were both very helpful and friendly. The beef ribs were delicious, and the deviled eggs made a great appetizer. I highly recommend checking this place out if you've never been you won't be disappointed!!

A good experience overall with the prompt and friendly service to the tasty dishes! We made a reservation while shopping and by the time we reached the restaurant, we were able to check in and be seated within 10 minutes. Reservations are highly recommended as there was a lot of people waiting. An open setting with a nice bar area surrounded by TVs with many seating of mostly booths. We opted for the lobster roll, kids cheeseburger, and the drunken ribeye...all was prepared fresh and was delicious! Will be back again. Enjoy!

You can genuinely taste the freshness in the food, and the menu has a lot of variety, which makes it easy to come back and try something new. If you ever catch their fried okra on the menu, GET IT. I cannot recommend it enough. It's that good. I also usually start with their spinach and artichoke dip, which never misses. I've been wanting to try the fried green tomatoes next, so I'll definitely be back for that. They used to have a vegetarian burger that I loved, but since they took it off the menu, I've been trying their other options like the beet/apple-style burger. My go-to move now is swapping the standard bread and getting it on a potato bun instead, it's chef's kiss!! The sauce they use ties everything together perfectly and the fries? I love them every single time . For drinks, I usually go with the hibiscus soda or their soda or the day. It's refreshing and a nice change from the usual options. For dessert, their apple pie is a 10/10. I've had it multiple times and it never disappoints. The key lime pie is more of an 8/10 for me, but still solid. My husband swears by their chocolate cake. The ambiance is another reason I keep coming back. It's alm, cozy, and perfect for a date night or a relaxed dinner. Service can be a little hit or miss. Most visits have been smooth, but the last time we went, things were a bit slower. Our waiter was delayed, and our fries came out a little cold. That said, when it's not busy, service is usually quick and attentive. All in all, I'd give Founding Farmers a solid 4 out of 5. Great food, great vibe, just slight inconsistency with service at times. Definitely still a spot I'll keep in rotation.

Our server was friendly and efficient, which I appreciated. One small suggestion would be to offer a separate coffee menu when guests are seated, alongside the brunch menu, since I was not really looking for alcoholic or sweeter drink options. The food was thoughtfully prepared and overall very enjoyable. I ordered the Morning Market Board, which included a frittata, salad, and hearth bread. The frittata was simple with caramelized onion but still quite flavorful. The burrata paired nicely with the grilled bread, and I especially liked the grilled asparagus in the refreshing salad. My partner had the Sunday Night Lasagna, which was rich, cheesy, and satisfying. The only minor issue was that a spoon would have been helpful for a saucy dish like that since it is a bit tricky to manage with just a fork and knife. My cappuccino was average but still enjoyable. Overall, this is a pleasant brunch spot with a quieter vibe than expected, making it a nice place to relax and catch up. I would definitely come back to try more dishes.

I had the pork chop which comes with cabbage but was allowed to swap it for mashed potatoes. A green vegetable would have been nice to come with the entree so I had to order additional sides such as the Brussels sprouts with bacon, and sweet potatoes. Everything was delicious. My son's roommate is a vegetarian and was able to find a lentil dish and salad on the menu for his meal. He was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the meal, ingredients, and low calorie counts across the menu. I asked for a bread basket if they had one since it wasn't offered and we received four 2"x4" thin pieces of a thin bread like a tortilla. I could've used a few more of those baskets while we awaited our meal since it didn't have an impact as a bread roll might. A good visit, good food, decent service, and a decent price.
