Wanted a gluten free dairy free healthy option and I wandered in asking. Indeed a salad with chicken and lentils and lots of veggies hit the spot! Clean inside and nice outside seating before mall entrance - great option.

The food is always fresh and the customer service is amazing! Love enjoying a bowl from Mezeh whenever I'm in the area!

Mezeh is a bit tucked away next to Old Navy and you can get there from Bloomingdale's (sometimes the entry door is open). Very similar concept as Cava and Roti, there are more toppings and bases are a little different. I love the sweet roasted eggplant and cous cous and appreciate that baba ganoush is on the menu. I wish Cava had these! I wasn't a big fan of the bland falalel made of split peas. While I enjoyed the Basmati white rice, I noticed that lentils weren't offered as a base. The juices weren't good. The pita was warm, but didn't look like it was house-made. The tortilla was definitely not made in-house. I was rooting for Mezeh and it was fun to try, the staff was a bit stand-offish and I honestly prefer Cava.

In this area, I honestly think this place has the best Mediterranean "fast" food! It's quick and easy, you choose what you want, pay and you're done! You have the option to dine there or pick up and east elsewhere. I tried another one nearby and I wasn't impressed! This place has more of a variety of proteins and vegetable options. In addition, it's a clean and welcoming place and the staff is nice.

The greatest "corporate slop bowl" I've ever had. These need to come to the Midwest! Love the evoo

Yum!! I've been wanting to try mezeh and finally had the opportunity to! There are so many options to choose from! I'm definitely going to revisit!

Mezeh is always good, fresh food with a very wide variety of choices of bowls. You can choose rice or salads, protein, toppings and spreads. The place is very clean and the service is good and prompt. This location is great if you need a bite after walking the mall. It is located right outside the Bloomingdales.

Mezeh is my favorite spot for quick Mediterranean food. There are so many options to customize your bowl or pita.

We ordered: - the honeydew mocktail (this was so good, I haven't had a mocktail that I enjoyed so much in a long time now) - the assortment of dips (delicious and paired so well with the bread) - a side of toum (this is an essential for me at any restaurant) - the ottoman rice (my family's favorite) - brussel sprouts - cauliflower (our server's favorite) - Adana kepab - the small lamb shoulder dish (really good) - branzino (sooo good and cooked perfectly) - pistachio soufflé (like a chocolate lava cake but with pistachio inside--soooo fab) We absolutely loved everything that we ordered and the bread that they served the food with. The service was so attentive. The vibes were really nice and not overly fancy. My family and I thought it was one of the best Turkish/middle eastern meals we've had in a while (and we thought this was much better than Zaytinya). Overall I cannot wait to return.

I got the Thyme to Bloom and it was good! We got the Mucver, Hummus, and Grilled Chicken. The Mucver texture wasn't my favorite but the sauce it came out with was yummy. Hummus and grilled chicken were good- not the best I've had but decent. The vibe was nice and I liked the decor. I'd come back to try their happy hour!

The ambiance and service deserve a 5* but the food leaves a lot to be desired. I am hoping the chef reconsiders their choices. The food felt like it was made of cheap ingredients picked up on discount aisles, Mexican tortillas used instead of pita bread (needed to order it as none come with the multi-dip sampler). ketchup like item was used as a dressing in the priciest dish on the menu, the ground beef kebab felt like a reheated frozen kabob. Rice on the side showed up soggy and undercooked. This is unlike the experience we have in most Mediterranean /middle-eastern food places in NoVA. I have experienced this twice, so it can't be a coincidence unfortunately. My bad for not remembering the first experience. I cannot imagine how they have a loyal customer base that has had no issue with their food quality (based on the reviews here). It's at a prime location as well to be getting away with this. I wish they got Gordon Ramsey-ed and that more customers left honest reviews. Sorry for my harshness in this review. I did not like being deceived by the looks and reviews.

This establishment seems to be Egyptian owned, as the walls claim that Egyptians created bread, cupcakes and falafel. The service was fine, though the tables could have been cleaner. I appreciate that they allow you to substitute some of the rice portion for lettuce/spring mix although the spring mix was wet. They also offered both spicy and regular options for rice and chicken. I got spicy rice with spicy chicken, and for my toppings I got Mediterranean salad, hummus, and tzaziki. I didn't realize you could also get white sauce, green sauce, etc, so I probably wouldn't get tzaziki and get olives or something else next time. The chicken and rice combo was a bit overly spicy for me and upset my stomach slightly. I'd probably get regular for both the next time. I also got tiramisu which they recommended over all the other "cupcakes" which they claim (via the wall) is Egyptian. The tiramisu was surprisingly good. There was soft music that seems Arabic-speaking. They have fountain drinks as well as bottled beverages. They also include a service charge - it was like $0.42 for me. I don't regret stopping by, but I wish my stomach was more settled. I just came from a restorative yoga class and I was thoroughly at peace.

Well, this time we actually tried it. I'm a simple caveman - we've got a bowl with basmati rice, chicken AND lamb/beef gyro, tahini, and hummus. Hits the damn spot. Fountain drinks, combo options, cups for water, and bottled drinks. You go down the line, say what you want (like every fast casual these days), and end up at the register. Fast operation. Plenty of seating indoors.
