    Greens and grain bowl
    Mitch S.

Cava always hits. I think the best option is the green and grain bowl which is the perfect combination of rice and lettuce (arugula is my favorite). The honey chicken is my favorite protein to order. And the tzatziki, feta, and hummus are easily the three best dips to include in a bowl. In terms of portion I am always pleased with the size. I think they switched up the pita. You used to get one pita slice that was warm and soft. Now you get 5-6 large pita crisp like chips to dip in the bowl. They were extra salty but good. Not sure if they are extra cost, it did seem a bit pricier than usual. Nonetheless, a solid lunch option.

Sometimes fast casual is the only realistic option for dinner. For that reason I'm overjoyed that McLean has CAVA now! My husband and I both indulged in chicken grain bowls and both devoured them. I love the Mediterranean concept, the spreads and various toppings are delicious and really enhance the dish. We had a great experience, the staff were friendly and the restaurant was very clean. P.S. Don't forget to ask for complimentary pita bread to accompany your bowl!

I came to this location for the very first time tonight right around 6:30pm. My guess is that there were about four other groups of people already seated and enjoying their meal. I decided to maintain my healthy decorum today, so I went for the Greek salad with grilled chicken. This thing included all kinds of wonderful ingredients like humus, kalomato olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions. It took literally seconds for the three employees behind the counter eto prepare a the salad, and soon enough I was seated and eating the way that I should! It tasted wonderful. My only complaint about my visit here tonight was that the air conditioner was blasting freezing cold air, on a day when it wasn't even that cold at all! It was definitely frigid!

Chicken and braised lamb grain bowl

I love love love CAVA! The best way for me to describe CAVA is the chipotle of Mediterranean food. My go to order is a grain bowl (ask for pita on the side too) with half chicken/half braised lamb and toppings galore. With your bowl you get your choice of three dips and then additional toppings/dressings. You should definitely go for the traditional tzatziki sauce, crazy feta, and eggplant + red pepper for your dips. For dressings my top two are the yogurt dill and Sriracha Greek yogurt. I'm not big on spice but the Sriracha Greek yogurt is a milder dressing that goes great in almost everything! I really love CAVA and get excited with each new storefront they open up! If you're like me and plan on frequenting CAVA be sure to download their app as you get $ back/rewards after you spend a certain amount paying through the app!

We would like to share our experience and rate this wonderful restaurant…read more Kazan Restaurant is a truly beautiful place, and from the moment we arrived, we received a warm and genuine welcome from the entire staff. Everyone was smiling, friendly, and extremely patient, which made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. The appetizers and salads were excellent--fresh, healthy, and thoughtfully prepared. The menu selections are well chosen and balanced. The main courses were absolutely delicious, rich in flavor, and beautifully presented, with outstanding quality and variety. The level of professionalism shown by the staff was exceptional. Their smiles never left their faces, and they handled our orders with great care and attention. Usually, in most restaurants, one person is assigned to serve your table, but here we noticed that all team members take turns checking on you and making sure you are fully satisfied. This teamwork truly reflects a high standard of service and hospitality. This atmosphere strongly encourages anyone to visit and enjoy a fine dining experience--whether with family, friends, or colleagues. We highly recommend this restaurant to everyone looking for quality food and outstanding service. The experience concluded with a lovely gesture of hospitality: serving delicious baklava and authentic Turkish tea, which was a perfect ending to an already memorable meal. Honestly, I have traveled to Dubai, Egypt, Morocco, France, Italy, and the United Kingdom, and I have not encountered food this delicious, service this professional, and a place this pleasant. It is an excellent venue for inviting loved ones and absolutely worth visiting--you will not be disappointed. Special thanks go to AYHAN for his supervision, professionalism, appreciation for food quality, and close follow-up with the staff to ensure everything runs smoothly. Our sincere thanks also extend to the professional restaurant management. We wish you continued success and prosperity, and we thank all the staff--especially AYHAN--for this outstanding experience. We wish you a wonderful day. Best wishes Tawfiq

Both of us are mobility impaired, and were treated with great sensitivity--our choice of tables with plenty of room for canes, food etc. It was a Friday so we knew we were going to order the Wednesday/Friday special of Doner Kebab, but we hadn't anticipated the best side salad either of us had ever had: Cucumber, grated carrots, baby spinach leaves, regular lettuce leaves, shaved red cabbage with a remarkable green goddess dressing. We also ordered the Mezze Platter for one--knowing we would never be able to eat the same amount for two people, and were happy to split the hummus, spiced chicken strips, yogurt, sausage, feta, and lovely tomato shaped like a rose. The Doner Kebab orders were delicious--and huge. We definitely were full and hesitated before ordering a piece of baklava to split, but that would have been a mistake! Their pistachio baklava is made especially for them by a local woman and was, perhaps, the best baklava I have ever had. Service was impeccable even though they were very busy. I highly recommend Kazan's for lunch; no doubt dinner is equally delicious.

It was pretty busy on the weekend, but we still managed to find parking and a table. People work on their laptops there so the turn over is slower. The inside is a bit cramped, I did have a little anxiety because there's really no space between you and the person next to you and there's just a small path to walk around. Parking is around back of the building, it has signs up that it's parking for that building only. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.

We were having dinner with some friends and this was centrally located - plus one of our friends is Persian and she insisted - so we were offered a lovely glimpse into this beautiful cuisine. As any of you who have read my reviews know, I am Greek and Greek food is among my favorites. Well, Persian food is "kinda sorta" like Greek food only slightly different to keep it interesting. I was pleasantly surprised. We started out the meal with a sampling of appetizers. Zucchini fritters, hummus, fresh tomato salad, octopus, beet salad. All wonderful and all perfectly prepared and beautifully presented! For our main course, we had some lamb, a ground beef kabob and chicken kabobs. All wonderful. The lamb was - in my opinion - perfectly cooked; the meat was "fall off the bones" tender, just the way I like it and just the way that Greek cuisine would cook it. I did not need a knife to cut it. WOW!!! There was also a beef stew so luxuriously seasoned that it transported me to the Middle East! Cinnamon, probably star anise, cloves definitely! Really different and lovely. As good as all the food was, the rice might be the star of the show for me. They have a way of preparing rice so that it has a crust to it. The outer layer is crispy, crunchy (in a good way) and I loved that. The inside rice is tender and chewy. Divine Divan!!! The ambiance of the dining room is okay. Nothing special. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing to add an additional star to this review. Service was professional and fast. Will I return to Divan? Oh yes! Do I recommend it? This establishment seems to be Egyptian owned, as the walls claim that Egyptians created bread, cupcakes and falafel. The service was fine, though the tables could have been cleaner. I got spicy rice with spicy chicken, and for my toppings I got Mediterranean salad, hummus, and tzaziki. I didn't realize you could also get white sauce, green sauce, etc, so I probably wouldn't get tzaziki and get olives or something else next time. The chicken and rice combo was a bit overly spicy for me and upset my stomach slightly. I'd probably get regular for both the next time. I also got tiramisu which they recommended over all the other "cupcakes" which they claim (via the wall) is Egyptian. The tiramisu was surprisingly good.
