I stopped by Falafel Inc in Tysons Corner Mall located on the 1st level next to Cinnabon for lunch! There was a line, but the cashier did a great job keeping things moving quickly. The wait for food wasn't to bad either. I ordered a falafel sandwich with hummus for just $6.57, easily my cheapest meal of the week! The sandwich was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Fast service, great food, and great prices, I'll definitely be back!

My husband grabbed us some lunch here yesterday. Love this business and their mission. Oh and the falafel too. I'll continue to support this business and you should too.

I was starving on my last trip to Tyson's. So I decided to get Falafel Inc. I saw a decent line, so I figured it was popular. My first mistake was not getting the item they are named after. I decided to get the chicken bowl instead because I was craving chicken. The line itself moved quickly and I waited about 5 minutes for my food. There were also a bunch of sauces and cups available for people to take on the go. The portion size seemed decent too. However this chicken bowl just lacked something. There was little to no flavor. The chicken was not marinated well. I was just so disappointed. I did finish my bowl after drenching it in sauce but overall I was left disappointed because it just did not hit. It was very mid. Not sure I would go back even for the falafel because there are just better options in the area.

We were out holiday shopping and could smell the falafel so we stopped by to try this place out. I usually don't try places without checking their reviews, but in this economy who can turn down a $5 falafel sandwich, or $4 fries?? So my partner got the chicken shawarma wrap $9, I got the falafel sandwich, and fries to share. Then we tried their sauces, which you can get in small cups on your own by the pick up area. Overall if you're looking for a cheap halal option; it was good not great. Not very flavorful as far as sauce options go, the falafel was ok, and the chicken wasn't seasoned much. The tastiest sauce was the hot, and thats only due to the heat of it -not flavor. Disappointed in the "toum" ... But the sandwiches needed something** for sure.

A great place to go to in Tysons Corner mall if you are looking for something inexpensive and relatively healthy. I ordered the chicken bowl and the falafel bowl. It is a pretty decent portion size for how cheap it is, especially the falafel bowl. I thought they were both pretty good. The chicken bowl could have used some more vegetables though. The falafel bowl comes with a lot of falafel, and it has a variety of vegetables which I liked. I also liked the chips that came on top. The wait time for the food after ordering wasn't too bad, maybe 10-15 minutes. Falafel Inc has cheap food that is pretty tasty. I will definitely be back in the future.

Food - 5 Service - 4.5 Ambiance - take out place Solid bowls, we shared the falafel bowl and the chicken bowl, which had a little bit of everything we wanted. If you get the chicken bowl it's mostly rice but I wanted something salady which the falafel bowl gives. We also got the side tomato salad. Everything is flavored really well, is fresh and healthy tasting. There can be a line and a wait, but not a big deal as we just walk around the mall a little bit. There is a good variety of sauces at pickup side of the counter, so no need to buy sauces. I wish they provided larger containers for these sauces though, they are tiny.

Absolutely recommend. This is a staple that my gf and I hit every other trip to the Tyson's corner mall. The falafel sandwich is elite. It tastes like no other falafel we've found thus far. And the sandwich is only $5. You can't go wrong at that point. They have other options as well that include vegan meat. And they recently introduced a halal chicken bowl we've yet to try. But they have some options now! The zatar fries are good but nothing special. The service can sometimes be a tad slower but they usually only have 2 maybe 3 people working. So if you come during a busy time, it's going to be a bit of a wait. But typically it's between 4-5 mins. There isn't anything to really complain about. It's inside the mall so not much to say for ambiance but you'll leave happy knowing you got good food for a good price.

its fine if you get the falafels but the chicken shawarma wrap i got for 12$ was NOT worth it tbh...at that price i couldve gone to any other fast casual place and gotten a more filling/afforable meal. it was v thin n barely enough chicken that they tried to spread to fit the long pita bread. their toom sauce was fine bc the wrap NEEDED something other than just the chicken...both ends of the wrap was basically just bread bc they skimped so much...but the sauces are good at least...if i were to come here again it would be for the falafels. service was fast n easy n the ambiance was giving...mall food.

Probably the most bang for your buck food option at Tyson's! The falafel sandwich is only $5 and the generous portion of zaatar fries is $4. There is a variety complementary sauces for your choosing as well. Pretty quick service on a weekday with almost no wait.

Delicious!!! Short wait/not "fast food" service after i paid but i didnt mind. To the far left of the food line is the pick up area where you can self serve your choice of dipping sauces. No complaints all of their sauces are delicious. The red and green sauce has the right amount of kick. I remember trying this place a long time ago and was astonished to find that i could still order six falafels for only $3. Happy to be a customer at Falafel over and over again.

Affordable eats !! My favorite food to get whenever I'm in Tysons! Despite the long lines it can occasionally get, they are quick to get your order to you. The food always tastes fresh and it's such a good portion for the price. On the side, you can get some of their sauces to add to your food. I like their sauces a lot, especially their red and habibi sauce. Overall, would recommend and there are more Falafel Inc stores if you're in DC!

This establishment seems to be Egyptian owned, as the walls claim that Egyptians created bread, cupcakes and falafel. The service was fine, though the tables could have been cleaner. I appreciate that they allow you to substitute some of the rice portion for lettuce/spring mix although the spring mix was wet. They also offered both spicy and regular options for rice and chicken. I got spicy rice with spicy chicken, and for my toppings I got Mediterranean salad, hummus, and tzaziki. I didn't realize you could also get white sauce, green sauce, etc, so I probably wouldn't get tzaziki and get olives or something else next time. The chicken and rice combo was a bit overly spicy for me and upset my stomach slightly. I'd probably get regular for both the next time. I also got tiramisu which they recommended over all the other "cupcakes" which they claim (via the wall) is Egyptian. The tiramisu was surprisingly good. There was soft music that seems Arabic-speaking. They have fountain drinks as well as bottled beverages. They also include a service charge - it was like $0.42 for me. I don't regret stopping by, but I wish my stomach was more settled. I just came from a restorative yoga class and I was thoroughly at peace.

Well, this time we actually tried it. I'm a simple caveman - we've got a bowl with basmati rice, chicken AND lamb/beef gyro, tahini, and hummus. Hits the damn spot. Fountain drinks, combo options, cups for water, and bottled drinks. You go down the line, say what you want (like every fast casual these days), and end up at the register. Fast operation. Plenty of seating indoors.

Evidence points to failure due to high competition in the food court (notably beside McDonald's) and the challenges of establishing a new international brand in the U.S. market, leading to a quick closure. Reddit According to community reports on Reddit in March 2026, the location was boarded up, the phone number was disconnected, and it was removed from delivery apps." This kind of action saddens me, because two weeks earlier (maybe), my wife and I ate there for what was our last time. The last item I had on their menu was Its MyThyme. This along with the Crispy Mozzarella Balls. My Favorite Items were the #1 Chef Pan, #3 Chesey Rosemary, #6 Its My Thyme and #4 Teri & Yaki, but not necessarily in this order. Oh, did I mention I liked the Crispy Mozzarella Balls too? I have visited this place 14 times and I thought there would be a 15th time, but "Alas Poor Yorick, Nevermore." I remember the simple but peaceful vibe and ambience the place gave off. The $14.99 meals were fantastic/flavorful, filling and inexpensive. We enjoyed talking to the managers of the establishment. They always made sure food arrived in a timely manner and fixed problems should they occur. I unfortunately do not remember the name of the managers of the restaurant, but I thank them for their services. I would have to say up until Gagawa came to the United States Of America, (formerly Tavuk Dünyası), I have never had Turkish Cuisine before. I now know I have been missing out on great food. Both my wife and I truly enjoyed eating at this restaurant. There are a few reasons I think could have improved the restaurant's business, but managers informed me The owner would never do this. Here is an example of an idea for guests I had..., but first the basics: Ordinarily you would order say...(It's My Thyme #6), you would aquire Your the flavored meat, pasta, (either pesto or tomato not both) or rice and salad. You could get two rice, two Pastas (of the same flavor) or two salads if you didn't want one of these items. I thought it would help guests if you could mix and match items. Say one Pesto and one rice instead of salad for example. This option was done once then quickly reversed the next time I came back to the restaurant. I was informed this "isn't an option." I had talked about the option of Los Tres Pollos (The Three Chickens) where you might order a the chicken meats of your favorite meals..., say number 1, 3 and 6 for a very favorable meal. This idea was shot down too. I am sure people would have paid $19.99 to try this option of meats or soy items. "Potential Causes For Closing Down: Observers on Yelp noted it was located in a crowded, competitive fast-food court." The inability to adapt to ideas of improving the food options of restaurant, the cognitive rigidity of not listening to guests who had ideas of attracting more guests helped bring about the down fall of this business. My wife and I saw this place needed more people to come eat here, but the owner was steadfast in his ways and wouldn't take creative input. "And as the flames climbed high into the night, to light the sacrificial rite I saw Satan laughing with delight The Day the Music Died." and so folks, the end of Gagawa is upon us. Who will take the place of this restaurant, I can not say. Let's hope the new restaurant has the sense to adapt and overcome or history might repeat itself. Incase people are wondering where Gagawa was located, here is the former location. The restaurant was located at the food courts 7939L Tysons Corner Ctr, Mc Lean, VA 22102. Across the hallway from California Pizza Kitchen and next to McDonald's.

Their proteins and fries are perfect, their salad is cold and crisp, and the execution of their rice is consistently the benchmark. First off though: the lighting is really harsh. It's Temu hexagonal 10000K bright white led honeycombs from blaze hell. The walls are primer black, and there are no paper towels in the bathrooms. Solution: I almost always get my food to-go. I flip flop between the Falafel Platter and the Mixed (Chicken + Lamb Gyro) Platter with the following no-charge mod: NO fries, MORE salad. This leaves the rice alone - you will get rice - and it is a very long grain, saffroned, Basmati rice that is distinctively al dente. Not fluffy or clumpy - they are highly separated and firm rice grains, and I absolutely love it this way. This rice blows the competition far and away. If you like fries, they are good - they're the double-fried "Burger King" style and keep their heat decently well in the to-go clamshell. The sauces are quite special. I like them all. I always ask for the following on-the-side (no zig-zags for me): the white (tahini-like), the green (cilantro), the red (spicy), the orange (signature Blazin spice). There are a couple of others, but I find these 4 create a nice balance. Oh and the late-night hours secure the 5-star rating. This can feel like the perfect late-night food - thanks to the owners for accommodating the late-night fans. Quickie review notes: The burger is just okay - the patty should be bigger. The Chopped Cheese is convincing, but not the best value item, IMO. The milkshakes are very tasty!
