My #1 Falafel Inc. rule: IF any of the squeeze bottles of sauces aren't cold, don't use them - or you will get the stomach twisties. Ask for a cold one - they really need to be kept on ice. Here at this mall location the sauce bottles are just sitting around on the countertop under bright lights. Aside from the questionable squeeze bottle temperatures, the quality of the food is great. I have been a customer here since day 1. Today I ordered 3 chicken shawarmas and I have always gotten it and it's a WRAP. They made me pouches and proceeded to tell me that I did not say wrap. I was telling them I always got it as a wrap. The lady that was on the cashier kept arguing with me then ignoring me even though I kept telling her there isn't even an option on the menu that says that. Regardless of how much crowd is there for Falafel INC, their service is always quick and top notch. The thing that stands out about their wrap is the tahini sauce. It definitely is more prominent than the rest of the flavors but hey who is complaining. The falafel sandwich is delicious from start to finish. No one can beat their prices. I stopped by Falafel Inc in Tysons Corner Mall located on the 1st level next to Cinnabon for lunch! There was a line, but the cashier did a great job keeping things moving quickly. The wait for food wasn't to bad either. I ordered a falafel sandwich with hummus for just $6.57, easily my cheapest meal of the week! The sandwich was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. I decided to get the chicken bowl instead because I was craving chicken. The line itself moved quickly and I waited about 5 minutes for my food. There were also a bunch of sauces and cups available for people to take on the go. The portion size seemed decent too. However this chicken bowl just lacked something. There was little to no flavor. The chicken was not marinated well. I was just so disappointed. I did finish my bowl after drenching it in sauce but overall I was left disappointed because it just did not hit. It was very mid. Hard to order- there are five menu items on the board with pictures. But the staff didn't communicate very well when trying to ask questions. Perhaps English was a barrier. Only wanted one falafel- but somehow got three, got a falafel salad which was amazing. When another tried to get a salad that had tabouli, cabbage and chicken- but didn't want the chicken bowl there was some misunderstanding. So just stick to the menu. It is a pretty decent portion size for how cheap it is, especially the falafel bowl. I thought they were both pretty good. The chicken bowl could have used some more vegetables though. The falafel bowl comes with a lot of falafel, and it has a variety of vegetables which I liked. I also liked the chips that came on top. If you get the chicken bowl it's mostly rice but I wanted something salady which the falafel bowl gives. We also got the side tomato salad. Everything is flavored really well, is fresh and healthy tasting. There can be a line and a wait, but not a big deal as we just walk around the mall a little bit. Absolutely recommend. This is a staple that my gf and I hit every other trip to the Tyson's corner mall. The falafel sandwich is elite. It tastes like no other falafel we've found thus far. And the sandwich is only $5. You can't go wrong at that point. They have other options as well that include vegan meat. And they recently introduced a halal chicken bowl we've yet to try. But they have some options now! The zatar fries are good but nothing special. The service can sometimes be a tad slower but they usually only have 2 maybe 3 people working. So if you come during a busy time, it's going to be a bit of a wait. But typically it's between 4-5 mins. There isn't anything to really complain about. Awesome! Had their Georgetown location bookmarked for the longest time but since we were in the area, this location worked perfectly. Located inside Tysons Corner Center (Level 1). There is little seating in front of the storefront. You can always enjoy your meal at the Food Court (Level 3). Their menu is simple and straight forward. It all looks so good. Anyway, I had their Falafel Salad Bowl for lunch with Pita Chips (with Zatar seasoning). THE BEST falafel I have had in a very long time. Very light and moist, not dry as many falafels tend to be. Went shopping at Tysons with a friend. Decided to get my lunch here-- a Falafel Bowl with Hummus. I've been to the location in Georgetown before and I really liked it. I also love that they use some of their proceeds to help feed refugees in need. The Falafel Bowl was great. The salad ingredients were fresh. The tabouli and hummus dressed the salad well and made it tasty. The zaatar chips and falafel provided a nice textural contrast to the salad. And the falafel tasted delicious in the sauces they have-- my favorites are the habibi sauce and the white sauce. The bowl was a good price.
