Attention to the owners of Falafel Inc.: Please review your practice of automatically charging customers a 3.5% "Process Fee." The menu displays one price, but there is no clear and conspicuous disclosure of this mandatory 3.5% fee on the posted menu or in the ordering area. The fee appears only when the customer receives the final bill/receipt. Virginia Code § 59.1-608 requires businesses displaying a price to clearly and conspicuously display the total price, including mandatory fees or surcharges. Virginia law specifically defines mandatory fees as additional charges that must be paid to purchase the advertised goods or services. I have photographs of the posted menu and ordering area, as well as my receipt showing the additional 3.5% charge. I am asking Falafel Inc. management to review this practice and bring its pricing and fee disclosure into compliance with Virginia law. Customers should know the actual mandatory charges before they place and pay for their order, not after the fee has already been added to the bill. read more

Good portions, good price, nice food. The habibi sauce is my favorite, and they have excellent fries. read more

My #1 Falafel Inc. rule: IF any of the squeeze bottles of sauces aren't cold, don't use them - or you will get the stomach twisties. Ask for a cold one - they really need to be kept on ice. Here at this mall location the sauce bottles are just sitting around on the countertop under bright lights. Aside from the questionable squeeze bottle temperatures, the quality of the food is great. Unfortunately, the collective attitude of the staff is never good. It's always off, and leans towards "grumpy" every time. I wonder what the reason is for this. read more

Falafel Inc is one of my top chicken shawarma spots. I always stop here whenever I am in Tyson's Mall. Regardless of how much crowd is there for Falafel INC, their service is always quick and top notch. The thing that stands out about their wrap is the tahini sauce. It definitely is more prominent than the rest of the flavors but hey who is complaining. The falafel sandwich is delicious from start to finish. No one can beat their prices. I have no idea how they keep their prices so low. 4.4/5 must try this spot y'all read more

I stopped by Falafel Inc in Tysons Corner Mall located on the 1st level next to Cinnabon for lunch! There was a line, but the cashier did a great job keeping things moving quickly. The wait for food wasn't to bad either. I ordered a falafel sandwich with hummus for just $6.57, easily my cheapest meal of the week! The sandwich was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Fast service, great food, and great prices, I'll definitely be back! read more

Falafel Inc. is humbling experience on so many counts. A reminder that good food doesnt have to be expensive or fancy, you dont always need a long menu, sauces with excellent flavors for free is still a thing--thank you! Most importantly, it is OK to share a table with a stranger--the United States is a gorgeous melting pot of people from all over and everyone has a story to tell, you only need to listen. Now to the food--falafel bowl, falafel sandwich, zaatar fries, falafel pack, shawarma wrap, hummus pita--everything is on point. We've been here multiple times over the years--kids, adults, seniors--everyone loves it. No one has had an upset stomach ever. Habibi and Invisible are family favorite sauces. Service is fast and helpful, lines move quick. read more

I was starving on my last trip to Tyson's. So I decided to get Falafel Inc. I saw a decent line, so I figured it was popular. My first mistake was not getting the item they are named after. I decided to get the chicken bowl instead because I was craving chicken. The line itself moved quickly and I waited about 5 minutes for my food. There were also a bunch of sauces and cups available for people to take on the go. The portion size seemed decent too. However this chicken bowl just lacked something. There was little to no flavor. The chicken was not marinated well. I was just so disappointed. I did finish my bowl after drenching it in sauce but overall I was left disappointed because it just did not hit. It was very mid. Not sure I would go back even for the falafel because there are just better options in the area. read more

Hard to order- there are five menu items on the board with pictures. But the staff didn't communicate very well when trying to ask questions. Perhaps English was a barrier. Only wanted one falafel- but somehow got three, got a falafel salad which was amazing. When another tried to get a salad that had tabouli, cabbage and chicken- but didn't want the chicken bowl there was some misunderstanding. So just stick to the menu. Falafel is awesome and the sauces you can squeeze yourself are amazing!!!! The sauces turned the whole thing around. Falafel bowl is legit- get it. As far as ambiance it's a food court! Great people watching! read more

I have been a customer here since day 1. Today I ordered 3 chicken shawarmas and I have always gotten it and it's a WRAP. They made me pouches and proceeded to tell me that I did not say wrap. I was telling them I always got it as a wrap. The lady that was on the cashier kept arguing with me then ignoring me even though I kept telling her there isn't even an option on the menu that says that. And only after I got frustrated did she start making them. Terrible attitude on the other hand the guy that was making the sandwiches was very polite. read more

We were out holiday shopping and could smell the falafel so we stopped by to try this place out. I usually don't try places without checking their reviews, but in this economy who can turn down a $5 falafel sandwich, or $4 fries?? So my partner got the chicken shawarma wrap $9, I got the falafel sandwich, and fries to share. Then we tried their sauces, which you can get in small cups on your own by the pick up area. Overall if you're looking for a cheap halal option; it was good not great. Not very flavorful as far as sauce options go, the falafel was ok, and the chicken wasn't seasoned much. The tastiest sauce was the hot, and thats only due to the heat of it -not flavor. Disappointed in the "toum" ... But the sandwiches needed something** for sure. read more

Ambiance: This is one of the several spots inside Tyson's mall, it is always clean, busy and the service is spot on! Food: I tried their falafel sandwich and zaatar fries. Both of them are delicious. I had the sandwich and zaatar fries a bunch of times, they are my repeat order. Tip: try the fries with their habibi sauce! Delicious!! Parking: Park in one of the Tyson's mall parking lots read more

I enjoy getting food here. I usually order the falafel. It's cheap and filling. It's also fairly clean and vegetarian friendly. It's just a little kiosk spot in the mall on the lower level so not real much seating, but there is seating the surrounding area. The service is normally quick and the food only takes a few minutes. read more

A great place to go to in Tysons Corner mall if you are looking for something inexpensive and relatively healthy. I ordered the chicken bowl and the falafel bowl. It is a pretty decent portion size for how cheap it is, especially the falafel bowl. I thought they were both pretty good. The chicken bowl could have used some more vegetables though. The falafel bowl comes with a lot of falafel, and it has a variety of vegetables which I liked. I also liked the chips that came on top. The wait time for the food after ordering wasn't too bad, maybe 10-15 minutes. Falafel Inc has cheap food that is pretty tasty. I will definitely be back in the future. read more

Absolutely recommend. This is a staple that my gf and I hit every other trip to the Tyson's corner mall. The falafel sandwich is elite. It tastes like no other falafel we've found thus far. And the sandwich is only $5. You can't go wrong at that point. They have other options as well that include vegan meat. And they recently introduced a halal chicken bowl we've yet to try. But they have some options now! The zatar fries are good but nothing special. The service can sometimes be a tad slower but they usually only have 2 maybe 3 people working. So if you come during a busy time, it's going to be a bit of a wait. But typically it's between 4-5 mins. There isn't anything to really complain about. It's inside the mall so not much to say for ambiance but you'll leave happy knowing you got good food for a good price. read more

Food - 5 Service - 4.5 Ambiance - take out place Solid bowls, we shared the falafel bowl and the chicken bowl, which had a little bit of everything we wanted. If you get the chicken bowl it's mostly rice but I wanted something salady which the falafel bowl gives. We also got the side tomato salad. Everything is flavored really well, is fresh and healthy tasting. There can be a line and a wait, but not a big deal as we just walk around the mall a little bit. There is a good variety of sauces at pickup side of the counter, so no need to buy sauces. I wish they provided larger containers for these sauces though, they are tiny. read more

Not only is falafel inc vegetarian friendly and halal, but it's also a delicious option for an affordable price. That's alot of options for people with different dietary and religious restrictions so brownie points for that. My go-to is always the falafel sandwich with a blood orange Pellegrino which comes crispy coldd. Love that their falafel is chockful of vegetables, tahini, hummus and falafels. Its a hearty and healthy-ish fast sandwich and if you are feeling peckish, add the zaatar fries and get some of the many dips they have out for you to fill your cup(s) with. There's garlic, tahini based, green sauce, hot and hotter - options for all kinds of taste buds and god knows i love a good dip for my fries so bravo! I have also taste the tastefully packed shawarma sandwich they offer and it's one of the closest shawarma to the ones you get in the middle east. Love! read more

its fine if you get the falafels but the chicken shawarma wrap i got for 12$ was NOT worth it tbh...at that price i couldve gone to any other fast casual place and gotten a more filling/afforable meal. it was v thin n barely enough chicken that they tried to spread to fit the long pita bread. their toom sauce was fine bc the wrap NEEDED something other than just the chicken...both ends of the wrap was basically just bread bc they skimped so much...but the sauces are good at least...if i were to come here again it would be for the falafels. service was fast n easy n the ambiance was giving...mall food. read more

Stop by for lunch here pretty regularly. Since opening up, they've added a few items to their menu, but their namesake is what keeps them going. The falafels are packed with flavor and fried perfectly here. There's a couple different ways to order it but they're always great. Recently I tried the chicken wrap. I was a bit disappointed as it felt a little soggy, and the bread was super thick. There was also no sauce available. read more

Affordable eats !! My favorite food to get whenever I'm in Tysons! Despite the long lines it can occasionally get, they are quick to get your order to you. The food always tastes fresh and it's such a good portion for the price. On the side, you can get some of their sauces to add to your food. I like their sauces a lot, especially their red and habibi sauce. Overall, would recommend and there are more Falafel Inc stores if you're in DC! read more

Delicious!!! Short wait/not "fast food" service after i paid but i didnt mind. To the far left of the food line is the pick up area where you can self serve your choice of dipping sauces. No complaints all of their sauces are delicious. The red and green sauce has the right amount of kick. I remember trying this place a long time ago and was astonished to find that i could still order six falafels for only $3. Happy to be a customer at Falafel over and over again. read more

Falafel inc is a chain, this particular location is inside Tysons corner mall opposite the sushi conveyor belt. My husband likes their food so I've had it food before but I'm impartial to falafel so it's never been my personal go to spot. This stall in Tyson's Corner Mall might be the cheapest food option there that's also vegan friendly! For merely $7, you can get a bowl with a lot of hot and crispy yet moist falafel, a lot of spinach, and tasty toppings. I come here whenever I want a quick bite or just crave falafel! You can choose between sandwich, bowl or just falafel by itself along with sides like Zaatar Fries, Pita Bread and many others! We got the Falafel Bowl. The bowl was fresh and the falafel with everything mixed in were flavorful! It's even better with their Invisible Sauce that comes with a hint of spice. It might look like a small portion size, but it was more than enough; very filling! The service was fast and their staff were friendly. Confused.... I order a wrap, was given a bowl. When I stated that my order was wrong, the lady who put in the order wrong told me I order a bowl. So instead of giving me a wrap, and having a satisfied customer. I asked for a refund and let unsatisfied. Maybe this Jedi mind trick works on most people. Unfortunately I won't be back. read more

So cheap! I was surprised it was $5 for a falafel bowl and I love falafel so I had to try it. It's a bit smaller than I anticipated but still filling enough for $5, although most of it was lettuce/veggies so I wasn't entirely full after eating it. It came with pita, falafel, I added hummus for extra, and other veggies. I got the sauces on the side, which are definitely a must. There wasn't really a line but there were only two people working the place unfortunately. Although, one of the ladies seemed to disappear into the back and go on her phone while I was waiting at the cash register so I wasn't sure if the place was closed or not? She eventually came to get my order after... five minutes of waiting? If I'm looking for cheap food in Tysons or a quick bite, I'd go here. But if you're looking for something more filling, maybe pass on this place. read more

Awesome! Had their Georgetown location bookmarked for the longest time but since we were in the area, this location worked perfectly. Located inside Tysons Corner Center (Level 1). There is little seating in front of the storefront. You can always enjoy your meal at the Food Court (Level 3). Their menu is simple and straight forward. It all looks so good. The price is definitely right with sandwiches at $4. The cashier was friendly and quick. Take out bags and their signature sauces are within reach. We loved the garlic and white sauces. Everything from their pita, falafel, and toppings in our sandwich were a hit. Super fresh, jam packed with flavor, and light yet very filling. Their Zaatar Fries pair well with the sandwich. Super flavorful and fried to order. I really enjoyed dipping my fries in their garlic sauce, it's so well made. The falafel itself is excellent. Super light, crisp on the outside and fluffy within. Incredibly flavorful. Dip it into any of their sauces and it's a party in your mouth. This place is addicting. read more

The ambiance was a bit hectic considering it's located at a busy spot in the mall and that it's also Tysons Mall. Went on a Sunday afternoon, line wasn't too long, so had to wait at least 5 ish minutes. Got the falafel sandwich and the fries. For 5 dollars, I would say that the falafel is a great price for a single meal. It tasted great alongside the sauces that they have as well. Though the fries tasted good, they were also so HEAVILY seasoned that there was a good amount of seasoning left after the fries were left (could be a good or bad thing depending on your preference). The fries also cost 4 dollars, which I personally think is a bit pricey in comparison to the actual falafel meal. Overall, a good place to eat if you stop by Tysons mall and need a great meal. read more

Had the worst experience there today. No manager and bunch of kids that thought it was funny to hold my food and service over 6 people with my sandwiches and when I got mad they all started to laugh and handed me the bag that was sitting on the side. Been here multiple times and was never like this. Called the manager Rony and never got a call back. Waited over 40 min for three sandwiches. Went shopping at Tysons with a friend. Decided to get my lunch here-- a Falafel Bowl with Hummus. I've been to the location in Georgetown before and I really liked it. I also love that they use some of their proceeds to help feed refugees in need. The Falafel Bowl was great. The salad ingredients were fresh. The tabouli and hummus dressed the salad well and made it tasty. The zaatar chips and falafel provided a nice textural contrast to the salad. And the falafel tasted delicious in the sauces they have-- my favorites are the habibi sauce and the white sauce. The bowl was a good price. Definitely worth the visit if you're craving a fresher, non-greasy fast-food option in the first floor food court. read more
