The space is well decorated and on theme with them being originally from New York. This is way better than Halal guys or any Mediterranean chain. We got the jerk chicken platter. We initially went to another restaurant which was way too busy. A quick Google search sent us here. This place has been open for two weeks. We were in the mood for Mediterranean food. I'm glad we came. Food is absolutely delicious. Ordered a spicy jerk chicken platter with spicy rice loaded with all the vegetables except tomatoes. I'm not a fan of tomatoes. It came with a white yogurt sauce, and I also got the spicy sauce. It's very tasty. We also got a regular chicken platter with half rice and half salad. We also ordered a smash burger with spicy sauce. Wow, we enjoyed everything. This will be part of our rotation. Service is excellent. The people there are very friendly. The atmosphere is casual. Me and my husband came in for lunch the restaurant looked brand new, it was so clean and organized. We ordered the Jerk Chicken over rice and the Jerk chicken Burrito, we also got the smash burger! My husband said it was THE BEST burrito he's ever had. Man! That chicken was sooo flavorful and juicy, the veggies were fresh. We loved the customer service, we can't remember the brother's name but he was very welcoming and just overall great to be around. We finished our lunch with the Biscoff Tres Leches and we WATTLED out of the door with our full bellies. This is now our new favorite spot, go check put Blazin Halal! read more

I went to this location expecting the yogurt and Korean corn dog restaurant but was surprised to see a different restaurant instead. The atmosphere and seating felt a little tight but is something that can be looked over due to the large amount of seating outside. The staff were very friendly and courteous. I had the Jerk chicken gyro, the chicken was juicy, flavorful, and tender. The vegetables tasted fresh and gave a nice crunch to the gyro. The prices are not too steep either for the area and with their hours and the karaoke bar next door, I'd expect Blazin Hala to be a great addition to the Annandale area. read more

This is a great find in Annandale! I went there for the first time a week ago, and went back two other times the following week! Not being very familiar with the type of food they had, the two owners were in the shop and did a great job explaining the food to me, and gave me some samples to try. All of the food tasted great, and so fresh! I am not too into spicy foods, but I even enjoyed their slightly more spicy offerings! The shop is small, but looks very clean, and since they just opened, brand new. I enjoyed the look and feel of the shop. It's a great place to great tasting, fresh food. I just found out they are open late too! So I may do some late night take out! It's a little hard to find being tucked in the corner of a shopping center, but it is so worth it! read more
