A hidden gem in the parking lot of Home Depot. If you want to try something different and very fresh for a food truck type of atmosphere, this is it. The menu is not your typical hot dog stand as you can get burgers, cheesesteaks, and a variety of sides and other items. Depending on when you stop by, there could be a line and the food is made fresh, so the wait might be longer than expected. However, the food is really good. I plan to stop by again soon to try other menu items. read more

Easily influenced by TikTok, I came across Marky's Munchery and realized this local spot was so close to me that I had to try it. We ordered two burgers -- the classic smash burger (lettuce, tomato, mayo, and cheese) and the BBQ bacon burger (grilled onions, bacon, and BBQ sauce) -- along with their famous cheesesteak combo. The cheesesteak came loaded with lettuce, jalapeños, tomato, and steak infused with peppers and onions, topped with Marky's-style cheese, plus seasoned fries and a soda. Everything was absolutely delicious, and I can't recommend this place enough -- especially knowing they're part of our local community. I've walked past this gem so many times without realizing what I was missing! It's tucked away in the Home Depot parking lot on Little River Turnpike, so don't sleep on it. I'll definitely be back to work my way through the entire menu. read more

An Absolute Gem! My favorite is the Marky's famous cheesesteak with bacon and egg added to it! Marky's Munchery is hands down one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time! The food is phenomenal -- every bite bursts with flavor and freshness. You can tell the ingredients are top quality and prepared with real care and creativity. The service is equally impressive -- warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly without ever being overbearing. The staff make you feel like a valued guest from the moment you walk in. The ambience is just perfect -- a welcoming, upbeat vibe that strikes the right balance between cozy and lively. Whether you're out with friends, family, or on a date, the energy of the place makes the whole experience even better. Marky's Munchery radiates positivity, great taste, and authentic hospitality. Mark is a great guy that loves what he does. Steak and cheese was really good. The hotdog itself was pretty skinny and the meat to bun ratio wasn't there but still giving 5 stars He only accepts cash or card, no apple pay here read more

I stopped by the food truck located outside of The Home Depot. Always one to try fries I decided to turn my dog into a meal to try the fries. The man working was the kindest soul and really elevated the experience. What I got: District Dog - 5* wow, my first bite sent me to heaven! The bacon on this hot dog was perfection and I loved the onions and beans with it as well. I can't wait to try the other dog options though it will be hard not to order this one again. Fries - 3* pretty regular fries. They're on the thicker end and came with a dash of seasoning on top. Because the seasoning is applied after playing it doesn't cover all the fries, just the top layer. Canada Dry - cranberry ginger ale read more

We love visiting with Marky, who is super friendly. He has a community of regulars, which says a lot about the fun ambience. We love the made-to-order food, which takes a minute, but it's cool to sit and wait in his charming spot. Our favs our the Phillies and dogs. Pass on the fast food and eat here! So much healthier and good, home-made food for the money. read more

As everyone has said, it's a vibe here, and the food is quick, delicious, and the owner makes it fun. Most will probably work up an appetite after walking around and getting stuff from Home Depot, and nothing hits the spot more than eating a delicious bacon wrapped dog, smashed burger, or Philly Cheesesteaks. I love the grilled jalapenos too, really compliments the food here. If you are hungry for a snack or a meal, come stop by this place, it's far superior to most other burger-type shacks. read more

Such a great surprise find! Went to Home Depot for some moving stuff and decided to take a look at this food truck right outside the store. I had seen people lined up out here before so I thought I would give it a try. Turned out to be the best spontaneous decision! The food was actually so delicious! Everything was well made, seasoned well, and the portions were a great size. Marky himself was such a sweet guy and such a pleasure to talk to. Don't let the modest looks of Marky's fool you. There is magic happening in this little red stand! Customer engagement, food quality and freshness make up this witches brew that puts a spell on every bite. While I've only had the chance to try a Steak and Cheese sub, it was truly amazing. The freshness of the onions, the sautéed jalapeño, the twice-fried krinkle fries...not to mention the perfectly cooked steak and the sub roll with just the tight amount of toasting. All of these add up to that magic spell that will keep you going back again and again and again. Keep up the great work! read more

Managed to come here when it wasn't busy and tried it out. What a great pleasant surprise! Marky is full of positive vibes and great customer service. The price was great for the portion size as well! Fries were crispy and fresh. They were also seasoned well! Not too salty or too bland. I really liked the philly cheese steak, it was stuffed with deliciousness. The chili cheese classic and the meat lovers were both so good! I really enjoyed eating here at this low key hidden food truck. Will definitely be back :) read more

Obsessed with this place. Been passing this place for years but never tried it and FINALLY had the chance to stop by. Let me tell you, the owner, Marky is full of nothing but good vibes. He greets each and every customer with a smile and is passionate about what he does. We came right when he opened so it took him some time, but he interacted and had amazing conversations while he was setting up that time just flew by. This place has it all and his attention to details are insane. He has condiments & napkins at every table, chill music playing in the background, and made sure to sweep away all the leaves under the tent ! The food was fantastic as well. We got the Cheesesteak and Blackened Chicken Philly with fries and they were AMAZING. The pepper it came with was the perfect amount of space and perfectly cooked. The food was fresh, had TONS of meat and I already can't wait to have it again. Definitely worth every penny if not more ! Love the food & love Marky. Can't wait to be back!! read more

Great food. Trying different food daily here. Great service. Customer service Can't wait til i get back to get more food.

Quick review. I found this food truck while scoping out lunch spots on the way home from Delaware last week. I was looking to get a burger at someplace right off the highway in the DC area. Marky's is located in a Home Depot parking lot off I-395 in Alexandria Virginia. I went with a double smash combo with bacon. It was delicious and the price is very reasonable. He was busy with orders but, mine came out quick. As you can see from the menu photo he offers different variations on burgers, hot dogs and Philly cheesesteaks. Lunch comfort foods at their finest. Like I said, the burger was delicious and I will definitely keep this place in mind on my travels through the area in the future. read more

Located in the Home Depot parking lot close to Annandale, I was not expecting this. Ordered the Philly cheesesteak with fries, and it was great. Cheesesteak had tons of flavor and there was a nice spicy sriracha Mayo. Fries were crispy and seasoned well. The owner/chef was talking to me and saying he tweaks the menu or at least how he prepares some of the dishes it seems like, but this was great. I'll definitely be back to try some more dishes. read more

Southern hospitality warm welcome: I recently tried the Philly cheesesteaks from this Marky's Munchery food truck in the DMV, and I must say they're hands down the best I've ever had. Marky's Munchery is a small food stand that is located on the eastern part of the Home Depot parking lot, kind of near the laundromat/car wash. Owned and operated by Mr. Mark himself (who, by the way, is the most friendliest, most welcoming, most positive-vibes-exuding individual EVER!), the menu offers hot dogs (both regular and bacon-wrapped) with various toppings, burgers, and a cheesesteak. You can customize your orders, and Mr. Mark is willing to whip something up for you that you'll enjoy. I was disappointed that there wasn't the fresh-squeezed lemonade available, but just another reason to check this place out during the summer months! The hubs and I ordered the Marky's Cheesesteak (toasted philly roll with mayo, shredded steak, onions, and peppers; came with a side of potato salad) and the Chili Cheese Dog (on a toasted bun with a bacon-wrapped hot dog, melted cheese, chili, and onions; came with a side of potato salad). Both really hit the spot - the cheesesteak was super peppery, and it had an ample amount of meat, onions, and peppers - yum! I'd probably ask for extra cheese next time! The bacon-wrapped dog was yummy, and the housemade chili and the cheese was tasty! I really enjoyed the potato salad, too - great little side! You can combo it up with a bag of chips and a can of soda/water. There were people who ordered items to go, and there are a couple of tables to dine al fresco. I'd love to check out the rest of the menu. I'm just sad that the place isn't opened on weekends. Check this little gem out - you won't be disappointed! +tasty hot dogs +friendly owner! +located in the parking lot of Home Depot +opened on weekdays only read more
