Boneless Chicken Kabob and Chicken Shawarma Platter
    Jerry Y.

We were here thinking it was the Indian Pizza place. But we decided to give it a try. Boy were we glad! Service: Spot on. They were celebrating their anniversary and they gave us appetizer to try.. Samosa was perfect. We had the Boneless Chicken Kabob and the Chicken Shawarma platter. Both were very good. The Chicken Kabob was moist and flavourful. Even when eaten next day. We will return to try their Karahi. Their portions was rather big..

My fiancé and I LOVEE coming here for their food! Definitely recommend the butter chicken with garlic naan, chicken Karahi and haleem! Everything has such good flavor and spice. Good food and service, that's why I always come back!

One of the best local restaurants for pick-up orders, and with a small seating area if you prefer to dine-in. I ordered through their nice website, showed up a bit early for pickup, and my order was ready and waiting. The Grill Salmon Salad is great, with a large grilled salmon filet and varied mix a vegetables that looked even better than the menu pic. The Butter Chicken was in a large container paired with flavorful rice. The naan was plate-sized, chewy and fluffy. If Spice Circle is local to you, I'd recommend it.

Not a very good first time here. I was drawn by all the good reviews and I've been looking for a good place nearby. The picture of my food did not look like any picture I had seen. The potatoes had no taste whatsoever. Moreover this is not Alu Bhujia at all. The chickpeas were dry and full of black pepper. Not a recipe made for puri's. The prices were reasonable. The person at the register was very nice and I want this place to be as advertised. So I may come back to see if this was a one off day.

Amazing Naan and chana. Must try. We ordered their baby goat karahi, chicken karahi and chapli kabab.

LOVE. Best butter chicken I've had. (The gravy is divine, chicken fresh and tender.) Best naan I've ever had. (It's the size of a small UFO.) Loved the chai, and the curry chicken. Next time we will order ahead for the chicken karahi, which I'm dying to try but didn't want to wait 35 mins.

How has it taken me so long to notice this place? Well, I guess because it's hard to notice when all I tend to do at this shopping center is go to Harris Teeter for groceries or to the drive-thru Starbucks for coffee. Anyway, searching for pizza late night one night, and wanting something different than the old reliable of Domino's, Papa John's, or Pizza Hut, a new place called Indian Pizza Company. How does that listing bring me to Spice Circle? It is the same place! I wondered for a while why they are listed under two different names, but it totally makes sense. In this post-COVID world, sometimes you know what you want and only search for that...and when you have grown used to ordering online, this is even more true. Spice Circle offers a menu of international offerings. While they could probably thrive on their pizza sales alone, they wisely target multiple audiences. Among their offerings are pizzas with an Indian spin, himalayan/Nepalese style dumplings called momos, as well as South America style steak. There is more, but as you can see, the offerings span the globe. On to the good stuff! So, since I was looking for Pizza, the Butter Chicken Pizza caught my eye and instantly made me craving for it. Unfortunately, it was too late the night that I found them on Yelp, so I had to wait a couple of days. I knew generally where they were located, but had no idea that they were nestled a couple doors down from the Harris Teeter I have been going to for years. Even knowing the address, I passed by the first time as it doesn't stand out among the other businesses in the strip mall. Upon walking in, I saw that the place is clean and I was immediately greeted by the gentleman at the register. Still craving the idea of Butter Chicken on a Pizza, how could I order anything else? Well, when I noticed that they also sell momos, I also ordered Chicken Momos. The sound of a Mint Cherry Lemonade spurred my curiosity as well, so that topped off my order. The steamed momos took a little bit of time to make, so I was given my lemonade in the meantime...at my request. It is pretty amazing...but, you may want to ask for extra ice as it is very sweet and very sour at the same time...but is made fresh from real fruit and muddled mint. After about 10min, my order was ready, and somehow I was able to resist the urge to open the bag before my ten minute drive home. I have to admit, at first sight, the size to price ratio seemed to be off balance. The Butter Chicken flatbread pizza is not that big. Personal sized is appropriate...but the size is deceptive. Every bite of this little Pizza was amazing. It was like Butter Chicken and Pizza were made to be paired...with a generous amount of mozzarella marrying the two together. The chicken, the sauce, the cheese, the spice, the flatbread, the caramelized edges...all make for an amazing experience. After finishing the last bite of the last slice, I was unexpectedly, and pleasantly full. So, that size to price ratio? For such a unique and amazing Pizza, I think it's appropriately priced. The momos I had to save for the next day, but they too were amazing. For those unfamiliar with momos, the dumplings themselves are not that different from other Asian dumplings except that they tend to be fully stuffed and with higher quality meat. What sets momos apart is the sauce which is rich and flavorful...not just soy sauce like so many other asian dumplings. In this case, the sauce is a rich, creamy, spicy tomato sauce...and it paired perfectly with the chicken momos. They too seemed to be too few to make a meal, but I was wrong. Totally full afterwards with smile a mile wide. Will I be back? Uh...I would have gone back every day afterwards if I didn't want to ruin a good thing! I think next time I will try their steak...but it will be hard to not be compelled to repeat this last order.

This was a random find while I was in the area. Since I have had good history with Pakistani restaurants, I decided to give it a try and it didn't disappoint. The naan was so large and soft. We decided to order the butter naan instead of the karahi chicken since that was gonna be too much. Then we ordered the samosa chat. They were both great and flavorful. I could see the other people on other tables enjoying their dishes as well. This is definitely a must try if you live in the area.

We went there for the first time and we loved the food. Their baby goat karahi is really good.

Tried Spice Circle tonight, apparently it has only been open about two months. I found it searching for places to eat on Google. First: The staff is amazing and even though we showed up around 8:30 pm (close at 9pm) they were more than happy to invite us in and take our order. They continued taking customers right up until closing. Second: The food is amazing! Wish I had taken pictures of it all for Yelp. Appetizers: Chicken Wings, Chicken Momo, and Truffle Fries. Entrees: Maryland Crab Cake Sandwich, Grilled Skirt Steak with Chimichurri We will be back.

    Lacha paratha and omelette

Great meal! Had the paratha and omelette. Paratha was so good! Also, loved the goat Karhai! So fresh with fresh ingredients. Best we have had in the area. Highly recommend.

Skirt steak (cooked medium-rare as requested), veggies and fries. Delish.

Their proteins and fries are perfect, their salad is cold and crisp, and the execution of their rice is consistently the benchmark. First off though: the lighting is really harsh. It's Temu hexagonal 10000K bright white led honeycombs from blaze hell. The walls are primer black, and there are no paper towels in the bathrooms. Solution: I almost always get my food to-go. I flip flop between the Falafel Platter and the Mixed (Chicken + Lamb Gyro) Platter with the following no-charge mod: NO fries, MORE salad. This leaves the rice alone - you will get rice - and it is a very long grain, saffroned, Basmati rice that is distinctively al dente. Not fluffy or clumpy - they are highly separated and firm rice grains, and I absolutely love it this way. This rice blows the competition far and away. If you like fries, they are good - they're the double-fried "Burger King" style and keep their heat decently well in the to-go clamshell. The sauces are quite special. I like them all. I always ask for the following on-the-side (no zig-zags for me): the white (tahini-like), the green (cilantro), the red (spicy), the orange (signature Blazin spice). There are a couple of others, but I find these 4 create a nice balance. Oh and the late-night hours secure the 5-star rating. This can feel like the perfect late-night food - thanks to the owners for accommodating the late-night fans. Quickie review notes: The burger is just okay - the patty should be bigger. The Chopped Cheese is convincing, but not the best value item, IMO. The milkshakes are very tasty!

It's messy, over-the-top, and absolutely delicious. Don't skip the Blazin Sunset drink either--half strawberry, half mango and super refreshing. Perfect balance to the savory food. If you're hungry and want something fun, flavorful, and different from the usual, this is the spot. I'll definitely be back (with extra napkins).

The young man very attentive and friendly. Ushered our dirty tables and brought us our drinks. I had minty lemonade which I recommend if your gonna eat a lot. Here's my gripe. Its very important to label food. None of the food trays or stations were labeled. I have several food allergies and I had no idea what was what. I had to ask what was this or that. One tray had rice and I saw something that had deep fried crispy something. I thought it was chicken... it was fish :( The hummus was good though. The baklava meh. The pita bread was good. Some rice tray had kabob type of meat but it was lukewarm. For the price I paid, its not worth it. Please label your trays. This establishment seems to be Egyptian owned, as the walls claim that Egyptians created bread, cupcakes and falafel. The service was fine, though the tables could have been cleaner. I got spicy rice with spicy chicken, and for my toppings I got Mediterranean salad, hummus, and tzaziki. I didn't realize you could also get white sauce, green sauce, etc, so I probably wouldn't get tzaziki and get olives or something else next time. The chicken and rice combo was a bit overly spicy for me and upset my stomach slightly. I'd probably get regular for both the next time. I also got tiramisu which they recommended over all the other "cupcakes" which they claim (via the wall) is Egyptian. The tiramisu was surprisingly good.
