Great food, their sandwich is really good and I love that they make the bread fresh. The dough is out and I believe they make it fresh to order everytime I loved the chicken kabob sandwich and asked them to make it spicy so it had a nice kick to it + the side of eggplant which was delicious. All for about $13.25 Will definitely be back

I found myself near Bradlick shopping plaza Quite a few food choices I was craving lamb, so I found this place and decided. To try their pulao Placed an order online and by the time i walked through the parking lot it was ready The lamb stew came with a side of spinach and basmati saffron rice I was pleasantly surprised, although a bit greasy food was very flavorful and the employee was very friendly Will definitely visit again

The chicken I ordered was super juicy and well spiced. The service was super friendly and even offered me a free bowl of soup while I was waiting. The dining area is small but I was lucky and got a table.

Disgusting. Raw dogging your food with nasty hand; no gloves. Had stomach ache for hours.

DO NOT EAT HERE. The place has horrible staff and does not maintain cleanliness. Tables and floors are sticky while staff do not wear gloves or wash hands. I saw one person ('mohamed') who was looking through trash and then went right back to making bread with his bare hands. Other member was touching the meat (sticking it on skewer) with his raw hands as well. No visible health department or inspections certificates are available (staff couldn't show any when asked). Staff also took yogurt sauces from used customer trays (by trash) and took them back to their food station to pass out (inside large container with sauces). Very questionable health practices.

    $20 soup

$19.35 for a bowl of soup is ridiculous. The soup costs more than an order of Kabob. When I asked why I was charged for 3 soups, they said that what we charge for a large soup. This wasn't listed anywhere. They just made it up.

5/5! My parents have been raving about this place ever since they had a chance to try the Kabobs here. And I can say, I was not disappointed whatsoever. This is one of the best kabobs I've had in this area, especially eating it for takeout. The Food: I went with the A5. Super Combo, which included chicken, beef and lamb. The meal was incredibly delicious! The meats were incredibly tender and flavorful, which caught me by surprise. Most places that I order kabob meat from are either dry or chewy so this was definitely a nice change. The flavor of the meats was perfect and the rice was delicious as well. This is well portioned, so it'll leave you stuffed by the end. Overall, I will certainly be back. 5/5!

When we walked in, we were greeted very nicely and sat quickly. Our server was new and it was her first day so she couldn't really give any recommendations which wasn't the best, but the manager came out and was able to help with describing some of the dishes and giving great recommendations. Most of the people that we ate with ended up with some type of lamb dish and the lamb was phenomenal. The rice was delicious. The eggplant was delicious. We got a bunch of appetizers. Everything was on point. Everything tasted super fresh and overall we had a very nice experience. The food also came out very quickly. The overall ambience was very nice very home type vibe and it is a smaller restaurant for limited tables One of our friends that we went with since we haven't seen each other for a long time was really craving a beer and kebabs which sometimes a little bit harder than one would anticipate but they served alcohol as well as delicious food so win-win here. So overall, I would highly recommend this place if you want delicious Afghan food, but of course remember to book in advance .

The pumpkin dumplings and pan fried veggie filled dumplings were great as well. I thought my salmon wrap and the chickpea side was ok. Interesting flavors for sure. As for the service, there was always someone filling up our waters and our waiter was very nice checking in every now and then. The only downside of the experience is at the end when the waiter was boxing up all the food for us. Very sweet that they do this but when boxing up my partners food, they only boxed up the rice and they got rid of the lamb that he was looking forward to eating more of later. So that was kind of a disappointment for us. I think if we go again, we would request to box our food ourselves since I'm not sure why they decided to get rid of all of his lamb.

For appetizers, we got Mantwo and Bowlawani- it was absolutely DEMOLISHED. Mantwo is basically afghan dumpling, and the filling was incredible savory and had a meaty texture. The was my favorite appetizer, stuffed with spiced potatoes, lentils, and chives/leeks from what I saw. The dipping sauce of yogurt and mint went amazing with it. For mains, we got the Lamb Lawand and Lamb loin chop. The lamb lawand was this savory rice dish- they served it with mushrooms and a side of beautifully seasoned spinach. It came as a stew that you were able to mix with your rice as you please. As for the lamb loin chop, it was incredibly tender- falling off the bone. Dessert was difficult, as I am deathly allergic to all nuts. My partner got the hazelnut chocolate cake, and from what I heard they rated it very highly. I got the afghan ice cream; the flavor were incredibly unique, with notes of cardamom, saffron and rose water. I usually have a problem with rose water in my desserts, as it ends up tasting overly flowery or soapy, but I think it was executed well. The toppings of dates, mangos, and figs went incredibly well with the flavors of the ice cream. My only complaint was the service being a bit slow, but at the time we went it was incredibly busy, and I don't blame the workers. Otherwise, this was a great place to go to for an elevated meal! Not sure how difficult it is to attain a reservation, but my friend made one for 3 the day prior to our dinner on a Sunday evening in one of DC's busiest weekends (America's 250th birthday, UFC at the White House, etc.) We were sat outside on the patio. No one in my party had had Afghani food before, but we were all open-minded and adventurous! Together, we shared all of these dishes: STARTERS starters tasting flight: one of each starter - 24 *bolani: afghan flatbread (choose two fillings) pumpkin (v), beef, onion potato *sambosa trio: a crispy phyllo pastry trio of spinach (v, vg), shrimp & beef - 12 *shamee kebab: small patty of minced beef with potatoes, yellow split peas, eggs, spices, served with cucumber mint yogurt, pickled onions & house-cut fries - 15 (gf) *shore-nakhot: chickpea, potato salad in vinegar, garlic & cilantro (cold) - 7 (v, vg, gt) *pakowra: gram batter cauliflower, spinach & potato- 14 (v, vg) AFGHAN DUMPLINGS *mantoo beef: dumplings with ground beef, topped with a yellow split peas & carrots tomato sauce finished with strained garlic yogurt - 4 pcs --16 / 6 pcs - 22 SIGNATURE DISHES gabuli palow: rice pilaf, boneless braised lamb, carrots, & raisins - 35 (gf) veggie - 22 (v) FROM THE GRILL lamb shank: bone-in braised lamb, herbed tomato sauce, basmati rice -- 38 (gf) My favorite dish overall was the gabuli palow.
