    Lemon drop

Great little find before a comedy show as we were trying to get into another restaurant but it was packed! Now it was a Saturday nothing special but everyone was out and about as the weather was pretty nice. I've been to the Tyson's Corner area many times but never to this area of restaurants. So we were kind of in a rush so I decided on a lemon drop which was made really good. We only had time to eat a little of the appetizer which was a crab dip and baby it was FULL of crab and so cheesy. The pretzel was nice and soft and lightly salted. We did get entrees but to go as we were about to be late...I got the ribeye medium with the cheesy cauliflower And when I tell you the steak was cooked to perfection! Yes ma'am and the cauliflower was so cheesy the cheese pull was crazy! This restaurant was located in the hotel next door to all these other restaurants which gives you a great food choice. As they had so many to choose from! Can't wait to go back!

A solid spot in Tysons. Barrel and Bushel has a nice vibe, good for a casual dinner or drinks or if you're staying at the Hyatt Regency. I got the yogurt bowl, huevos rancheros, and coffee and everything was really good. Service has always been friendly and quick. Definitely a go-to when I'm in the area.

72 Hour Pork Belly & truffle fries

Truffle fries: hot, slightly crispy, not too much truffle flavor but overall good. Pork belly: meaty, juicy. The flavoring is interesting. It kind of taste like a desert. Not sure if there's cinnamon on it but it tasted like it.

Nice restaurant with a beautiful ambiance. Food was also good. A good selection of vegetarian, vegan and meat options. Service was good and overall had a pleasant experience.

I can only imagine how loud the place would be when they're busy but lucky for us, we came at 5:00 p.m. I didn't realize how big the place was just standing at the entrance but our host took us further back into the restaurant. The floor to ceiling windows gives the place a bit of grandeur. I ordered the lamb chops and he ordered the beef brisket. The lamb chops were tough. It was one of those times where you bite into it and the meat wouldn't come off the bone so you pull really hard on the bone while the meat is between your teeth and you hope you don't pull so hard that things go flying while five of your friends watch. The lamb did have some nice flavor but just too tough. The bed of potatoes were too abundant. It would have been nice to have had a small serving of a green vegetables with this dish. The brisket was nice and tender with a sweet tangy bbq sauce. It was a good portion for dinner.

Chicken Sliders, Pub Sliders, Loaded Tots, 72 Hour Pork Belly

We stopped by during happy hour, more for the food than the drinks. The deal was $2 off bites, so we ordered the pork belly, both the chicken and beef sliders, and the loaded tots. Out of everything, the loaded tots were definitely the standout -- flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and surprisingly filling. The rest of the dishes were just okay, nothing particularly memorable. Even the burger I ordered to-go didn't leave much of an impression. Overall, not bad for a quick happy hour bite, but I'd go back mainly for the tots.

vibrant atmosphere, robust drink lineup, and some standout dishes--but service in busy times can be hit or miss. If you're going for Happy Hour or a relaxed brunch with drinks, it will be a great pick. They have huge patio sitting with big picnic benches. The vibe is great--modern, relaxed, with a nice indoor-outdoor flow.

I saw this place on the American Express app and we're heading to the mall one of the best brunch spots I've found in the Tysons area. The customer service was amazing. The food was amazing.

Was staying in the Hyatt hotel for the night and decided to come downstairs for a drink. The atmosphere is nice, the bar is located inside as well as outside. The bartenders were very friendly, attentive and professional. I ordered a Lemon drop and a margarita, both were tasty. I've eaten here before but it's been a while and I don't recall the dishes or appetizer I had.

My girlfriend and I had a great catch-up here! It was a bummer we missed breakfast since we arrived around 11 a.m. on a Tuesday, but the lunch menu was delicious. The paloma was so refreshing! Very nice restaurant, with lots of seating. The location is great and we'd love to come back for happy hour.

I went to Barrel & Bushel for lunch. They were full with reservations for sit down, but I was able to find a seat in the open seating bar area. This area was a great spot to watch the games and for a quick casual bite! We got the tater tots poutine and a burger, both of which were made well and very tasty! The tater tots were my favorite and were very fresh and crispy!

This restaurant is located on the plaza at Tysons Corner shopping mall. They have a large seating area both indoors and outdoors. Inside there is a lot of wood and metal, kind of an industrial-rustic-chic vibe, with one wall full of coolers containing various beverages, from beer kegs to wine to bottled water. The menu is basically salads, soups and sandwiches, but with elevated and/or unexpected flavor combinations. Our table ordered a lamb burger, smoked she crab soup, and winter chop salad topped with amber maple salmon. We were there on Thanksgiving Day and they did offer a special Thanksgiving Plate. We all enjoyed our meals. All of the desserts sounded good but we were too full to partake, we did get cappuccinos, though, which made a nice finish to the meal. Service was prompt and friendly.

Crispy Mushroom Wrap & Trio of Dips
    Jennifer A.

This place is just okay. Pretty standard, nothing overly exciting. The staff are very nice and took good care of us. The crispy mushroom wrap was bland and the fries were basic. The trio of dips was good, but needed more veggies. We had to ask for more to share between the 5 of us. Overall, decent place if you're staying at the Hyatt.

My friend told them that it was my birthday, and they came out later with a scoop of vanilla ice cream with happy birthday written in chocolate and a candle in whipped cream. I was also impressed how even a straw wrapper sitting on the table was scooped up by someone coming by. The tall ceilings gave the restaurant an open, airy atmosphere. As soon as we entered, General Manager Sam welcomed us like old friends. After we were seated, my wife asked if he had previously worked at The Dabney, and sure enough, that's where we recognized him from. It was great catching up as he shared what he'd been doing since then and how his dream had always been to open his own restaurant. Seeing that dream come to life made the evening feel even more special. The restaurant was busy (definitely make reservations), but we were able to enjoy cocktails while we waited for our table. My Grey Goose martini with bleu cheese olives was phenomenal and set the tone for the rest of the meal. We started with the Bison Tartare and the Ceviche. The bison tartare was leaner than traditional beef tartare, and the crispy chips added the perfect savory crunch. The ceviche was incredibly fresh and bright. For our entrées, I had the ribeye while my wife ordered the Dory. The ribeye was cooked perfectly--juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. My wife couldn't stop talking about how buttery and delicious the fish was. To finish the evening, we ordered the 100-Year Port Flight featuring 10-, 20-, 30-, and 40-year ports. Vertical tastings are such a fun way to experience how a wine evolves over time. The 40-year was absolutely outstanding, and the 20-year was another favorite. The 10-year was enjoyable but still showed its youthful character compared to the older vintages. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between upscale and relaxed. The main dining room can feel a little tight when the restaurant is full, while the bar area has a few TVs for anyone wanting to catch a game. One thoughtful touch that stood out was the women's restroom being stocked with amenities like hair ties and hair clips. We noticed they also offer a tasting menu, and after this experience, that's already on our list for our next visit. Between the outstanding hospitality, exceptional food, excellent cocktails, and welcoming atmosphere, Evelyn Rose absolutely earned five stars.

They have a few tables with umbrellas for cover during the day and even some lighting for nights. Food: The steak and sushi combo was interesting. The sirloin bites were small, but good, the sushi was mid - just not enough tuna on the crispy tuna rice and not enough flavor. The pesto spaghetti (Shrimp and Scallop Spaghettini) was good, but came with only two shrimp and a handful of the smallest scallops I've ever been served. The salmon entree was cooked well. Drinks: The cocktails were the highlight of the night. Several good margarita and martini variations on the menu that were perfect for the weather. Service: This was the worst part of the meal. Our server seemed to be frazzled the whole night. Twice during the meal we had our drinks delivered to the wrong table. The manager verbally apologized, but took nothing off the bill. It wasn't just our table though - we saw several of our server's tables get the wrong food or drinks. It also took a really long time to get water refilled at the table which was an issue in the heat. Verdict: 6/10. If they ironed out the kinks with service and dropped their prices by 10% on select dishes (tiny sirloin bites and subpar crispy tuna rice for almost $50 is madness), they would probably be an 8/10.
