Harvey's was great! I met Harvey. He is a wine connoisseur. He recommended the best white burgundy I've ever had! I should've taken a picture of the bottle!! they accommodated a party of six with two small children with grace. The food was good. The service was great.

This feels like a neighborhood joint where you could get to know the staff. We went for Sunday brunch and the place was busy. After we order it took some time to get our food. We were checked on frequently by our waiter who offered his apologies for the delay. The food was worth the wait and was very tasty. The waiter suggested we come back for the dinner menu. Sounds like a great idea.

4.5/5 Harvey's is a great local spot for good food. The owner is super nice and easy to talk to. His staff are also great - friendly, attentive, and helpful. The restaurant seats a surprising amount of people. There's a bar that looks right into the kitchen area too. I think they do a lot of things well, but could improve in minor details. For example we got the house salad and it was just big pieces of lettuce, think whole leaves. My friend also noted their salad dressing on her shrimp salad was underwhelming. I also wish this place had better draft beer. All 3 times I've been the only draft lager or light beer is PBR...there is usually 1-2 IPAs, and currently a dark high ABV stout. You can't beat their happy hour though! $2 off draft beers which are priced about $6. Three Discounted wines and a handful of crushes. In some cases (excluded draft beer) you can combo HH food and drinks. Harveys Smash burger is SOLID and on HH I think it's $7. Really can't beat it. The chicken on HH was really good too though we sauce we got on the side didn't taste like hot honey. It tasted like a gochujang based sauce. If it was actually served with a hot honey it would be fire but the chicken and white sauce was already moist and delicious. Fries are pretty solid. The fish and chips was excellent too. All in all Harveys is a great spot for good for and we love supporting local. There's something for everyone which I love. There's a kid menu too.

Everything was good, not exceptional, but good. Hostess/waitress very pleasant. Atmosphere not cozy, but fine. I'm not one who likes really hard chairs. At least they did have seat cushions. I know things are costing more, but the size of the Caesar was quite small more like a side salad and the chicken cheesesteak was small. The Caesar salad was dressed up a bit with fried capers, a nice touch, but I'd prefer a bigger salad over fried capers if that's where you have to put your money and energy. I believe for the prices the food was on the small side. Glad I went there for lunch and not dinner. I would be leaving hungry if I went there for dinner. The lunch and dinner menu is the same so I'm assuming the portions are also the same because the prices do not change.

My BIL made us reservations because he had been wanting to try it. Cute little place. Parking was a bit of a pain but we managed to get a spot. Walked in and we were seated. We ordered our drinks, two manhattan's and two espresso martinis. Both drinks were delicious but that martini was perfectly balanced and not overly sugary like most places make them. Kudos to whoever made our drinks. Keieren was our server and did a great job. Pleasant and friendly. The woman who took our order was very nice as well. My BIL and his husband ordered a smash burger and chicken Parmesan while I ordered the fish and chips and my bf ordered the duck breast. My fish and chips were delicious! The duck was very tasty too! I didn't try the chicken or the burger but they did say they enjoyed their meals and definitely are going to go back to try more. We are only here for the holiday but definitely would go back as well. Busy place and the ambiance was nice and the atmosphere was great. Definitely would give it more stars if possible.

Visited here on a Sunday and had a reservation which surprisingly was given to another party, accidentally. So despite the mix up, we were able to get seated after waiting just a few minutes for the host to figure things out. The space is pretty intimate but the staff are super kind. We ordered the sweet fire breakfast sandwich platter, the Forger breakfast sandwich platter, fish and chips, and the dirty bird. The food was fine, we really enjoyed the biscuits those were the highlights of the entrees. The fish and chips were delicious, the dirty bird was soo juicy and moist. The sweet fire could have been improved with more sauce as it was a little dry. The sides of fruit weren't fresh and the hash browns were interesting, not bad just no flavor.

Amazing Cuban and real fries... find me a better one (you won't).

Such a fabulous, cozy, authentic, friendly and clean restaurant -- SIX STARS!! The food is simply amazing! My son got the great bacon cheeseburger he hoped for, my wife, the chicken she needed and, me, the Cuban I've dreamed of!!!! The staff are friendly, attentive and very helpful!

Harvey's is a perfectly decent place for breakfast/brunch. We came here this past Saturday for a late morning breakfast. We made reservations through Resy. The gal seating people thanked us for making a reservation, indicating we would get a better table as a result. My hunch is Harvey's specializes in self-service Bloody Marys. Upon entry we saw a table by the door laden with the typical ingredients to add to a Bloody Mary, e.g. celery, pickles, olives, various juices and sauces. JP ordered a Bloody Mary with shrimp. They first brought out a glass half-filled with ice and a shot or two of vodka. The nicely cooked and browned shrimp came out a few minutes later. JP was disappointed that for the $3 extra for the shrimp, there was just one shrimp. We also ordered the Breakfast Platter and Biscuits and Gravy. The Breakfast Platter comes with meat (I opted for bacon), eggs, hash browns and for $2 extra two slices of sourdough bread. The bacon was excellent and I loved how my over-easy eggs had pleasing golden touches. The hash browns was actually a molded ovoid, not shredded potatoes as one might expect. It (or they?) were just okay. The Biscuits and Gravy were very good, with a nice flavorful gravy. Note: the half order is plenty big, and the full order is huuuuge! The ambiance is comfortable with lots of windows and light music in the background. Service was fine.

The good thing about Harvey's is that on paper, you can tell that the menu is chef driven. It's basically just comfort food, nothing fancy, but the composition of each item is a bit elevated. The quality and integrity of ingredients seems to be present. The staff is courteous and friendly. However, the execution is underwhelming, while being overpriced! The price-to-portion of some items, like their their beer cheese chicken sandwich for example can be described as stingy. Mine had a sparse amount of chipped chicken mixed w/ mushroom slices. It was almost like a chicken cheese spread (see pic). Or take for example a $15 chicken add-on to a smallish $11 simple salad (that's a $26 chicken salad)! I'd expect to pay that for a salmon Nicoise or rib-eye steak salad, but for a chicken topped salad, c'mon! I feel that nowadays, some casual restaurants get away w/ a false sense of value; portraying a disarming perception that comfort food in a laid back, generic setting is affordable. This is one of those places! But if you pay attention to Harvey's menu, you'll realize that these prices are what you would expect from an upscale, fine dining restaurant downtown. Pricing across the board is easily above its comparable nearby competitors (Kindred, Dominion, The Falls, Dogwood, Open Road, etc.) and more inline with nearby "2941" or similar places vying for a Michelin star/ Bib Gourmand! Bottomline, expect to pay above average prices for standard comfort food, in a tavern setting in the burbs.

Had come previously for take out breakfast/brunch food only. Recently came in for lunch dine in. Good is always creative here and the products used look quality. The shroom scallops I ordered was way too salty - I could see all the layer of salt sitting on the shrooms. Meanwhile the spaghetti squash underneath it has no flavor at all. Help kitchen! My counterpart's blackened shrimp Caesar salad on the other hand was perfect. So inconsistent. Also pricey. One entree per person for lunch came out to $60+! Free parking in the back is convenient.

Excellent service. Fantastic food. I called on Sunday morning and asked if they could seat seven of us and we were lucky enough to get a table due to a last minute cancellation. Great value for brunch fare!

I usually won't leave a bad review and forgive me being brief apparently we can't leave a "wordy review". The scallops were overcooked and CRUNCHY. The servers were at our table quickly in the beginning, We ordered drinks and informed them we were not in a hurry. However quickly and repeatedly circling back requesting our order. I never opened the menu, and it's important to note the restaurant was empty aside from one other table, so I'm puzzled as to why they're rushing us. I ordered an app to give us some time again reminded them we were going to relax and have a few drinks & catch up. Before I finished my first drink they had squeezed our order out. From the time the entree arrived, I waited maybe 10 minutes, and no one checked back.. eventually I had to wait and wave them over as they were not even making eye contact with us. My company had nearly finished their dish by this point. $180 lunch with $21 martinis (there is a $5 up charge for grey goose and no bitters...) $5 up-charge for grey goose vodka and "extra martinis". I ordered: grey goose up, extra chilled, no vermouth, with olives. I don't mind paying $20 or $30 for a martini but at least serve it how I ordered it I should note that on several occasions over the last year or two I have felt unwelcome and rushed. We circled back due to other favorites being closed for the holiday. Never again!

We live just blocks from Harvey's and have heard from our neighbors how amazing this place is from the service, ambiance, to the food. We were glad to have finally tried this for ourselves and it is exactly as recommended. For a Friday dinner time, we were able to walk right in to be seated inside. Since the weather was a nice cool breeze, the outdoor option had a nice little wait. We immediately recognized folks that we knew and met a new people that sat right next to us. This place truly has a friendly, family, neighborhood charm and community vibe. The service was exceptional and the staff was very attentive. The prices were also reasonably priced, especially for the quality of the food and service. Parking was very limited as we had to park away from their lot. An overall very hospitable spot, we will definitely be back! Enjoy!

I ordered them dry and got several sauces on the side to mix things up. Highly recommend. Seating - The restaurant has a surprising amount of seating. There's just as much indoor seating as there is outdoor, and possibly even more inside thanks to the bar and high-top tables. Multiple waiters checked in on us, and we never had to wait for water or anything else. The recommendations they gave were great, and they stayed attentive throughout the night--even though it was moderately busy when we went. Pro tip: Be prepared to sit inside if you're hoping for a meaningful conversation--the street noise outside is quite loud. Between the main thoroughfare and the neighboring restaurants in the same alcove, it can get pretty noisy. If you value good conversation, you'll definitely want to opt for indoor seating. Pro tip: There isn't much parking in the area, so give yourself an extra 5-10 minutes when planning your visit.
