Solid place for vegetarian Vietnamese food! Menu is HUGE like a bit overwhelming. Ordered take out in person and took about 15 minutes. I really lied the Sweet Potato Curry (Ca Ri)! Very hearty and flavorful. Also got enjoy Golden Vermicelli and Hue's Spicy Noodle Soup (Bun Bo Hue). Not my favorite versions of them, but still really delicious.

Cute, clean establishment with an extensive menu. I will always appreciate eating somewhere with a nothing-is-off-limits menu for vegans. Dishes range from healthy, lighter fare to comfort foods. The golden vermicelli and the banh mi were both very good. The menu is so diverse that we will definitely be back to try some other offerings. Service was very polite. Family-run vibes which I love.

I would say this one was underwhelming compared to Loving Huts elsewhere. The food was good. I was joined by two non-vegans and they enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches, pleasantly surprised by the taste of faux meat & cheese. A few disappointments tho: Warm water (no ice), slow service despite our party being his only table, and the restaurant itself is rather rundown. Menu was kinda sad. YES: VEGAN

Delicious Asian-style vegan restaurant chain tucked in a small shopping center next to 711. Get the Lemongrass Tofu! Skip the Glass Noodles with Mixed Veggies! They were clumpy, oily, and congeal. I prepared better glass noodles at home and I'm not a noodle expert. The thick mixed veggies were sloppily thrown on top of the noodles and not mixed in with the sauce. The veggie ham was quite tasty and the best part of the dish! While the bbq drummies were tasty, they were smothered in a tangy sweet and sour sauce. I would get sauce on the side next time! The Lemongrass Tofu was bursting with flavor! While I enjoyed the lemongrass broth, it was too runny to absorb the rice. I bet the pho with thin stringy vermicelli noodles would be delicious and seems to be the specialty! I would come back again to try the pho and the Oreo covered cheesecake and sweet treats!

This is a nice change of pace for me for someone who doesn't venture out to vegetarian only places much. This visit was from back when I went in August so I don't know if anything changed back then. Walking inside, there's a counter with baked goods and a place to pick up if you are ordering for carry out and a section on the right side for people that are dining in. I wanted to sit down to see what my experience was like. I had a waiter come up to me to get my order in and within a few minutes later I had my appetizer come out. I got Cha Gio or Golden Rolls as they call here. They came in two pieces with sweet and sour sauce. I could definitely taste carrots, cabage, taro, onions, mushrooms, mung bean, tofu for sure in here. It was a delightful taste and I didn't feel like it was anything different from the other places where I got vegetarian egg rolls. The main entree I got was drunken noodles which was just stir fried flat noodles with soy protein, bean sprouts, chives, bok choy, onions topped with sauce. For the portion you are getting, this was a lot. I think it wasn't spicy at all and perhaps I could have asked if there was an option to make it spicy but not an issue. The dish was filling and honestly just impressive on how vegetarian food can emulate meat in so many ways. I think there were moments when I was eating that I take a bite out of the soy protein and I'm just thinking; " it's really close to the actual thing! ". I haven't tried anything else but I think I'd come back to try out more options. Try this place out if you like vegetarian food!

Love this all vegan place! It's very much a hole-in-the-wall in a small strip center in Falls Church. The entire menu is completely vegan. It's an unassuming restaurant with flavorful, delicious, healthy vegan food. Most options are Asian, like pho and curry, but they also offer a few sandwiches. We had the Golden Nuggets, which were crispy and delicious. I ate them with the sweet and spicy sauce on the table. I also had the Veggie Pho, was was fragrant and filling. It's so hard to find good veggie pho and this hit the spot. My dining companion had the Curry and really enjoyed it. It says it's spicy but it was pretty mild. Service was very friendly and our server was earnestly interested in how our experience was. Great affordable spot for yummy vegan food. Will definitely be back!

I'm not vegan, so keep that in mind; I'm just open to trying it in a Vietnamese context. The summer rolls were good (they are hard to screw up). The general tso tofu sported too much breading and needed more sauce. The pho was a disappointment, having a pleasing aroma but a peculiar flavor -- we suspect that while we are used to being able to choose how much hoi sin we get to add, this broth came with some already mixed in, making the soup oddly too sweet. We would bring a vegan here, no question - there's a good variety of food on the menu - but i don't expect we will rush to come back on our own.

Loving Hut is known for elevating comfort Vietnamese classics with a vegan twist and is probably the only well-known vegan-only restaurants in the northern VA area. As a meat-eater myself, I am really impressed with how Loving Hut is able to pack a lot of flavor in their dishes. My most favorite dishes are the Hue's spicy noodle soup (bun hue) and the pho veggie noodle soup. When I took the first sip of the broth, it was surprising that there were no meat ingredients in the broth. The depth of flavor in the broth makes the dish very sumptuous and I'd be happy to eat this vegan version of noodle soup over the regular meat variants. The loving hut salad is also a nice light salad that's lightly dressed with a vegan fish sauce - a great starter to any meal. Loving Hut also offers basic sandwiches that are also pretty flavorful. Based on all my visits, service is average. I've had excellent service where it was attentive and waters were refilled without asking; other times service was slow when they're busy and short staffed. But the food remained pretty consistent in quality. Overall, I'd recommend Loving Hut. Vegan food does not have to be boring and bland. I think vegans and non-vegans can enjoy a meal together at Loving Hut.

    Supreme Master TV Trump propaganda

The food was pretty good. I really like the lemongrass tofu. HUE'S SPICY NOODLE SOUP (Bun Bo) was also quite good. Service was ok. Our party was disappointed by the Supreme Master TV on the wall playing pro-Trump propaganda. It was hard to miss. Another table got up and left before ordering. I knew the restaurant was affiliated with a cult-like religious movement, but I didn't know they were so political. Just FYI.

Can I add a level of spice to dishes (such as fried rice)?

Is there still vegan fried ice cream here?

There is and always has been. Above answer's cap 🧢

    Is loving hut wheelchair accessible?

While there is handicapped parking out front, the entranceway "foyer" (if you want to call it that) is narrow and would be a challenge for a wheelchair.

How suitable would this place be for gluten free options?

I know they have a lot of dishes with just veggies and/or rice noodles, the menu says just inform the server if you eat gluten free and they can assist you :)

Our server seemed a bit impatient and abrupt when taking our order (we asked how many spring rolls come in each order, and added beef meatballs to one of our pho orders), but we were mainly there for the food. The space itself is roomy, casual and comfortable, with tables spaced and seated far enough apart to not feel crowded. We started with the pork and taro spring rolls, which came out hot, cut in half, and impressively crispy! (Just as a heads up so you don't get scolded like we did - the pork and taro spring rolls come with two per order, and the price for both is a great deal compared to most pho establishments!) For our mains, we ordered three pho bowls and one dry noodle dish. The pho arrived warm, and adding bean sprouts cooled it down further rather than cooking them through. The dry noodle dish, on the other hand, was excellent in flavor, though also not very hot - likely due to the fresh vegetables (lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber) mixed in. We've been eating this sauce for over a decade and it never gets old. If you love bold, authentic flavors, this alone is worth the visit. Why this deserves 5 stars: When you return to the same restaurant for over a decade, it's because they're doing everything right. The consistency in food quality, the authentic flavors, the warm hospitality - all of it has kept us coming back year after year.
