I came here for the chicken pho and the rolls. The pho broth has good flavor and the noodles are cooked well, and the meat is tender. The portion size is good for the price and it comes out hot and consistent. The egg rolls are crispy and tasty, even though they're on the smaller side, and comes with lettuce and dipping sauce. I also tried the Thai milk tea and it was sweet, balanced, and chilly so it hit the spot. Service is straightforward and the food comes out pretty fast. Also, the sate sate oil that comes with the pho is bomb, really elevates the pho.

If you're Asian, have lived in the area long enough, and love pho, chances are you've heard of Pho Sate in Falls Church! This spot has been a local staple for years, and for good reason. They serve up a wide variety of Vietnamese noodle dishes, but their pho is the star--always piping hot, savory, and perfectly balanced in flavor. Never too salty, just consistently satisfying. The prices here are also very reasonable, especially compared to other pho spots around the DMV. I've tried quite a bit from their menu over the years, but on our last visit, I went with the eye round and meatball pho (#114), paired with my all-time favorite pork taro egg rolls. The flavors are just as good as I remember from my very first visit years ago--reliable, comforting, and delicious. Highly recommend for anyone craving a solid bowl of pho!

Reasonable prices, large seating area, very tasty noodles. The service was not super fast, it was quite busy during our visit. The large sized bowl wasn't too much larger than the regular, so keep that in mind if you're hungry.

Was craving pho so wanted to try this place out. We were curious about this sate sauce that is unique to this place. Pho was really good, and went to another level with the sate sauce added in. (They will bring the sate sauce with your pho, no need to order it separately unless you want more!) Loved dipping the cruller into my broth too. The meat was tender and they gave a lot of tendon pieces. Definitely worth the $$. The pork taro rolls were tasty and worth trying. Shrimp dumplings were crispy but nothing too special in my opinion. Service and ambiance is super casual. This is the kinda place I'd come on a Sunday hungover wearing sweatpants. Afterwards recommend hitting the Vietnamese bakery next door for some bubble tea and some treats to bring home!!

What a green restaurant - meaning the walls are extremely green. There's pho broth was ok, not as tasty as expected but good price at around $13. The service was good, and there was a decent lunch crowd. There's plenty of parking.

AMAZING!! Very quick service!! Lovely restaurant - very clean - food is fresh and tasty you'll love it here can bring kids - a lot of space!! They show that utensils are sanitized which is amazing and the shrimp was so fresh and tasty - bubble tea was soooo fresh I was happily surprised

    Beef Drunken noodles

The best dry noodle house in the DMV area. Pho Sate specialize more in Chinese hủ tiếu, sate noodles bowls, and pan fried drunken noodles plates. Mì khô and phở xào bò are my weekly go to dishes here. 5 stars Definitely not a Vietnamese pho shop because they use Hủ Tiếu broth for their phở. Phở has strong star anise and cinnamon flavor as Hủ Tiếu does not.

Service: super quick Food: I'm Vietnamese so I'm very picky with the places I will go and get my pho on. This is my go-to spot for pho. I had a start of a cold so had to get something warm. My favorite thing about this place is the sate. It even inspired me to make my own at home now!!! Ambiance: it's a pho restaurant. Mom and pop place so you are getting a casual dining restaurant.

When Pho is the main thing in your menu, you know it's about to be great. Stopped in immediately after landing at Dulles extremely hungry and excited for Pho! They were really busy so it took a while to be seated but it was worth the wait. The broth was so flavorful and light and I love how they added a house chili oil automatically with the pho toppings. My friend swears by this place and might be their biggest fan so I'm glad I could try it out!

The meat was old and chewy. The pho broth was below average. Noodle was decent. Service was non existent. Over a decade ago, this place was good...now, horrible.

This is one of those no frills hole in the wall restaurant. You sit and order from an extensive menu. Their spring rolls are delicious but small and greasy at times. The pho is a bit too sweet for me but good amount of noodle and meat. Our go to is the dry noodle with soup on the side. We always get extra hot sauces that come with the dish. Recently, I started to order their beef with wide rice noodles. The beef is always tender and usually a good amount of noodles. Only difference between their version and at a Chinese restaurant is they are a bit sweeter. As far as service, if you need something, you have to ask one of the waiters.

I'm back :) this was the same waiter that served me last time I came! I appreciate the nostalgia and the waiter's great service. The pho tai is a classic, but I'm not sure why it didn't feel the same as last. The sate wasn't spicy, but I thought it should at least have a little kick. The meat wasn't as much as before, I feel. I understand restaurants cut back due to expenses, and it's such a shame because I thought of this restaurant so highly not so long ago. The ambiance was the same as before, just no AC and with a big fan that helps. Nevertheless, I still have faith in this classic Viet favorite and I intend to come back and report positively on it!

Has Pho Sate reopened yet after closing during the pandemic?

I checked a few days ago, sign on the door says they are closed. Also not answering the phone (i have been calling every week!) Not sure how I will survive without my pho..
