Accessible by car or walking (depending on where you live). Free 2-hour parking in Founder's parking garage. Scan the QR code in the the garage or when you take the retail elevator to the main level to exit. There are a few doors, but they have a scan to get in, but there should be a sign pointing to the retail elevator. When you get to the main level - walk towards the semi-colon shop or main road then make a right and you'll see the entrance on your right. Beautiful interior space where it feels like you're in a watercolor painting. Service was super attentive and nice. At the check-in, they have the code to get the free 2-hour parking. They had a good selection of alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks. They had a 5-course tasting menu for $75 (also a vegetarian version) or all you can eat for $88 (Monday to Thursday). A lot of the appetizers had shellfish, so just read carefully. They do have a few options that don't include. Ordered the Risotto and it was absolutely DELICIOUS (my friend added scallops). Dessert was Yucca cake with ice cream which had an amazing combination of flavors. I'd come back to try their other dishes and drinks. Overall happy with the experience. (We had a reservation for 7pm). You don't have to wait for your whole party to get seated which was nice (at least for under 4 people). Seemed ADA friendly.

Chili oil wontons

A stylish, posh and very loud restaurant in Falls Church, NUE has a mix of exotic/inventive Southeast Asian dishes with more traditional and expected fare. Our favorites were the Green Papaya Caesar Salad (who'd have guessed?!) and the Bun Ca Nuong (Grilled Branzino), which was divinely cooked, sauced and presented. The pho pate was tasty and an interesting mix of style and flavor. The chili oil wontons were good, but nothing special. I did not care for the tamarind-ish sauce on the Lemongrass Lamb, nor the eggplant with which it was served. As I mentioned up front, the place is expensive, so we won't be going regularly, but I do look forward to trying some more dishes next time.

Crispy fish- sooo good

Favorite restaurant in NOVA!!! Love the cute ambiance, service is always impeccable and the food is outstanding. Multiple times when you try to modernize a traditional dish or a cuisine it can go terribly wrong, that is not the case with NUE. They have stayed true to authentic Vietnamese flavors with a modern a very unique twist. I have dined in multiple, so this review is long overdue. I have tried pretty much the whole menu and the stand outs for me are: - pho pate- mind blowing dish, this is a must! - seafood cha gio- absolutely delicious, I have driven 30 min just to order these! - crispy whole fish- this is another must! - short rib parpaddle- love the Vietnamese twist on this dish - Yuca cake- the best way to end the meal! I recently visited to try their restaurant week menu, which was also outstanding.

This is probably my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the area! I got the snow crab asparagus soup, bo ne (steak and eggs), and coconut curry risotto. Everything was delicious and so flavorful with the different sauces and components. Our waiter's service was great and he explained all the components and menu. We were able to walk in on a Sunday afternoon without reservations, and they validate parking. The interior is decorated nicely and I like how they had mouth wash packets for you in the bathroom!

It has been well over 3 years since I first reviewed it and I have been here for over 10 times since then. 1. Reservation: a must 2. Food: 5 stars. They really got better. Everything tasted so good. Pappardelle has always been my favorite and I always get it every time. - soups are good - crab, shrimp - all dishes were amazing 3. Tea: They have the blooming tea that I love and it just makes things better. 4. Drinks: are very beautiful, they work with some top notch mixologists to come up with their unique blend, so highly recommend. 5. Service: polite, swift, truly professional 6. Expansion: they have grown a lot since its opening days and you can actually access the chasing tails from here. 7. Bathroom is clean but here is the best part: they provide you with floss, toothpaste.. like come on.. isn't it amazing? Especially if you intend to kiss your date after?! Highly recommend!

Came a little early for my reservation with the intent to have a cocktail at the bar. Not possible. They use the bar a dinner seating. This seems to be a new sad trend :( There was a waiting area with tiny cocktail tables and I was able to sit there and someone eventually took my drink order. We over ordered food but I couldn't stop myself. Of course I had been dreaming of the crispy whole fish all day long. What was crazy was that after so many appetizers, we were too full for the whole crispy fish! Ugh! Now I have to come back. The baked oysters were as good as I remembered. Would get them again even though I have the same complaint- why 3 to an order? Weird number. The w other two apps I would skip next time so I can fit the crispy whole fish even though I liked them.

Came here late on a Friday night with reservations for 2 at the bar (so we could get happy hour drink deals)! The interior was beautiful and service was amazing throughout the night. Bartenders were so friendly and everyone was extremely attentive. We ordered the chili oil wontons, Bo Kho Pappardelle, and Cripsy Xoi Ga. The Xoi Ga was the most flavorful, crispiest fried chicken I've had in a while, and was absolutely delicious. Both dishes had huge portion sizes and filled us up completely with leftovers. Will definitely be coming back again to try the other dishes. Love!

My wife and kids took me here for my 26th birthday... I think it was my 26th... I stopped counting... so that's kinda like stop aging... I say as my kids says I look 66... seriously fuck them kids.. but you know who doesn't make me feel old and decrepit... the staff at Nue was awesome and super friendly... even carding me cause I look super young... I don't remember if they carded me... but that's probably because my memory is going... They do change their menu seasonally and when my wife had booked the reservation we were baking on the crispy Peking Duck but they just changed their menu the week of my birthday and the Peking Duck was gone and replaced with fried fish. My kids and I don't really fish but that shit was off the hook awesome. Both my kids were grabbing the fish and wrapping it in lettuce... so fish and veggies...

Grilled whole fish- medium size.

Awesome restaurant-- great service, cocktails, and food flavors. I have dishes that I think are top notch and different and then there also the ones you think are going to be 5-stars but are duds. Favs and must try -- seafood cha gao is delicious with the combination of lettuce wrap, basil, mint. It's a perfect bite flavor wise. The green papaya seafood salad is also good but not as Caesar-ey as I wish. But again, still yummy! Coconut curry risotto is a delicious new take on risotto. This has a lot of flavor and is cooked perfectly. Lobster garlic noodles-- no complaints here, it's delicious! Meh dishes-- chili wontons are nothing special, and the short rib paparadelle wasn't good IMO. Parking isn't the best but I usually find a spot in the garage and the restaurant has a discount code so don't pay for the parking until you get into the restaurant and use the discount code at the host stand. The restaurant is very pretty, good for date night or girls night too!

Came here last month on a Friday night for dinner--we opted for bar seating. The place was popping--energetic vibes, and overall cute decor! After looking over the menu, it seems like this is more of a Viet-fusion type of place. Started off with the Chili Oil Wontons, Seafood Chả Giò and Crispy Brussel Sprouts--the cha gio had too much taro in them and weren't as crispy as I preferred, wontons were delicious, and Brussel sprouts were interesting, mixed with persimmon and lychee. For entrees, the Bún Cá Nướng and Bò Kho Pappardelle were both huge portions and well flavored dishes! Loved sitting at the bar because we got to see a lot of their beautiful drink creations--tried the Gold Dragon, Water Horse and Lychee Sunset Fizz. Our bartender Jaden was awesome--made great cocktails, was friendly and attentive! Will definitely be back to try more!

All green lights. Service was great. Smoky and soft and tender octopus. Seafood fried rolls in lettuce wraps were wonderful but messy. For entrees, everyone needs to try the coconut curry risotto. The creamy rice seems like there's a gallon of cream. So full of flavor, this was the hands down winner. Short rib pappardelle is good and solid but you can get similar at other good restaurants. My drink was excellent as well. There is a mandatory 20% fee added for service that is split amongst the service staff. Anything above goes to the server. This was well explained when paying. Bar area looks inviting inside. Bathrooms had air dryers (boo)

Very lovely place. Definitely elegant. Everything in NUE was so tasteful. The vibes, decor, and layout were all aesthetically pleasing and comforting. The servers were accommodating and give way for you to enjoy your food. And the food was surprisingly fairly price and delicious. They take Viet staples and elevate them and I'm happy with what we had. Oh also whoever designed their menus deserve some praise. They were high quality and the drinks were both meticulously described and pictured. Can't wait to go back and try them again. Highly recommended!

NUE Elegantly Vietnamese is quite literally one of the most unique dining experiences I've ever had at a Vietnamese restaurant. Everything from start to finish was exceptional. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, perfectly reflecting the elegance and creativity of the dishes on the menu. The service was stellar attentive without being overbearing and the staff provided fantastic recommendations that truly enhanced the experience. We visited during Winter Restaurant Week and enjoyed a four-course menu. I started with the green papaya Caesar salad, which was fresh, crisp, and perfectly balanced. Next was the Seafood Cha Giò, and it was so delicious I immediately wished I had more. For my main course, I ordered the Bò Kho Pappardelle, which was an ideal portion and featured a tender, flavorful braised short rib ragu. My friend chose the coconut curry risotto with scallops, and she absolutely loved her dish as well. We also ordered cocktails, and they were just as impressive as the food not only delicious but beautifully presented. I had the 3 Steps Colada, while my friend ordered the Nurture, and both drinks added to the overall experience. The plating alone deserves recognition every dish was so visually stunning it almost felt wrong to dig in... almost. If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I absolutely would. This is a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable and elevated dining experience.

Anniversary | Menu | Vibes…read more Anniversary - We celebrated our wedding anniversary over Sunday brunch, which was a great option with an infant at home. The restaurant was about 50% full when we arrived at 10 a.m., making it relaxed and easygoing. The staff made the occasion feel special with complimentary champagne, an elevated table setting, and a signed anniversary card from the team. Small touches, but they made a big difference. Menu - The menu has a good range while remaining relatively simple and focused. The pairings are clearly well thought out. I had the chicken sandwich with fries and considered substituting the tater tots, but the staff strongly encouraged me to stick with the chef's recommended pairing. They were right. The fries complemented the sandwich well, and I appreciated a staff confident enough in the menu to steer me toward the chef's vision. Vibes - Great ambiance. It's an ideal date spot while somehow remaining very family-friendly. About a quarter of the tables had kids under 10, yet the restaurant never felt loud or chaotic. The finishes and decor are simple but elevated, creating a space that feels special without being overly formal. Pro tip: There's a parking lot across the street, and the restaurant validates parking. Easy and convenient. Pro tip: Get a reservation. I expect this place to become increasingly popular over the next 3-6 months as word gets out about the food, service, and overall experience.

The ambience is a nice modern vibe, great for casual dinner, not too expensive. The food is decent, all up to standard. All perfectly cook with some safe creativity. Nothing that blows your mind but cannot expect that at $65 these days. Greens on toast is nice and refreshing. The citrus salad is good too but nothing too unexpected than it looks. Mains with salmon and pork chop are solid. Not too memorable but happy to eat. Desserts are ok ... but their brunch is more memorable with their pancakes.

While it was hard to choose just one, we ultimately went with One Night in Bangkok, since the decor and strong reviews on both Yelp and Google caught our attention. We parked in the lot in the back, and the restaurant is located on the second floor, where Duangrat's (another Thai restaurant) is. Upon arriving around 5 PM, it was pretty empty. The restaurant shares its space with a small market, and the interior features lots of neon lights and bold decor, giving it a vibrant street-food vibe. Our server (who is also the owner) was extremely friendly. She walked us through the entire menu and recommended her favorites, making sure we always had water and felt comfortable throughout the meal. Between the three of us, we shared two appetizers, two entrees, and a dessert to wrap up our meal nicely. KANOM JEEB - 10 The shape reminded me of Cantonese siu mai, with open-faced filling wrapped with wonton skins. Each order came with four dumplings, generously stuffed with minced pork and corn, sitting atop a sweet, soy-based marinade. Unlike Cantonese siu mai, which is purely savory, these had a noticeable sweetness. I really enjoyed them, so much so that my friends let me have the last one. SAMOSAS - 12 Each order came with four samosas, stuffed with potatoes and (possibly) peas. The pastry was very crispy, and the filling was well-seasoned and flavorful. They tasted freshly prepared, as they arrived hot while we were eating. PAD SI EW - 17 +1 for beef As basic as pad si ew is, it's one of my favorite Thai dishes. The wide rice noodles were quite fresh and pleasantly chewy, with a good amount of Chinese broccoli and beef stir-fried in. The sauce was spot-on -- savory with hints of sweetness. I also liked that the fried egg on top was really fluffy, allowing the sauce to seep through nicely. Overall, a solid dish. RABIENG'S ROAST PORK CURRY - 18 We asked for the curry to be mild since two of us have a very low spice tolerance, but even then one of my friends was sweating profusely. The roast pork was incredibly juicy and tender, which we loved. The curry itself was flavorful, though a bit overpowering and salty, which meant I had to eat a lot of rice to balance it out. The tomatoes added a nice touch of sweetness. CHINESE BEIGNETS - 9 To wrap things up, we enjoyed an order of Chinese beignets (aka 油条). They were perfectly fried and topped with powdered sugar and a light drizzle of condensed milk. Surprisingly light despite being fried dough, this dessert was highly recommended by the owner, who emphasized how well the chef prepares it, and she wasn't wrong. Definitely worth ordering! Overall, the food was good, and we were satisfied with our choices. The was more than enough for all three of us, and everything came at a very affordable price.

Chicken thighs | Seating | Service…read more Chicken Thighs - The chicken thighs are surprisingly filling. Each order comes as one large deboned piece of meat, which is then cut into bite-sized pieces--easy to eat by hand or with a fork. They're available in a variety of flavors. I ordered them dry and got several sauces on the side to mix things up. Highly recommend. Seating - The restaurant has a surprising amount of seating. There's just as much indoor seating as there is outdoor, and possibly even more inside thanks to the bar and high-top tables. It's a great spot to start your night, end your night, or enjoy happy hour with friends after work. Service - For a bar, I thought the service was really good. Multiple waiters checked in on us, and we never had to wait for water or anything else. The recommendations they gave were great, and they stayed attentive throughout the night--even though it was moderately busy when we went. Pro tip: Be prepared to sit inside if you're hoping for a meaningful conversation--the street noise outside is quite loud. Between the main thoroughfare and the neighboring restaurants in the same alcove, it can get pretty noisy. If you value good conversation, you'll definitely want to opt for indoor seating. Pro tip: There isn't much parking in the area, so give yourself an extra 5-10 minutes when planning your visit.

My wife had the Australian Bass "Bourguignon" and I had the Grilled Braveheart Farm Ribeye. Both exceptional dishes. They made an off menu fresh spaghetti with an heirloom tomato sauce and grated parm for the daughter, and she loved it and said this was the best restaurant she has ever been to (though I think the service had something to do with that). Delicious Indian restaurant - great happy hour and brunch spot!…read more The happy hour from 4pm-7pm Monday-Fri is an amazing deal. I ordered 2 dishes and a cocktail for under $20! I requested for the Paneer Tikka Flatbread (not on the menu)- vegetarian version of the Chicken Paneer Tikka Flatbread. The naan pizza was delicious, it was stuffed with cubes of paneer with a side of Tikki Masala dipping sauce. Highly recommend it! You can get the Paneer Pizza next door too! The Paneer Tacos were filling and fun to try, but large chunky blocks of paneer. While I enjoyed the spicy mayo sauce, I wish the paneer was cut up into cubes. It just felt a bit heavy with the paneer. The Spinach Artichoke Fritters (4) were tasty. The Mango Mojito and the Mumbai Mule cocktail weren't that good, but it honestly it's hard to complain when it's only $6/drink. The unlimited weekend brunch at $38 is a great deal and well worth it! You can choose from over a dozen Indian fusion dishe - as a bonus mango lassi, chai, and soft drinks are included! You can order 2 dishes/person at a time and the servers hastily swing by to clear your plates and place your next order! Between the 3 of us, we ordered almost conquered the full brunch menu and had a delightful brunch feast! The food had a spicy kick, but not overpowering and wasn't greasy. The portions range from small, bite-size apps to full, large entree size. There's a lot of vegetarian dishes on the menu with a few non-veg as well. There's a good balance between traditional Indian dishes and Western fusion with a hint of American flavors/presentation. My favorite stand-outs: - Aam Chat Papri with crispy Papri pita like chips with mango, chick peas, and potatoes smothered in yogurt and chutney, and topped with spicy garam masala mix - Chana Bhatura with chick pea curry and fluffy, bubbly fried bread. Large portion. - Spinach and Artichoke Fritters - Crispy bite-size balls filled with creamy spinach artichoke dip, 4 come in an order and perfect for sharing! - Aloo Bravas - Crispy, diced potatoes very reminiscent of the Spanish Patatas Bravas with aioli sauce and mild masala spicy kick - Butter Chicken - My friend enjoyed it, solid full entree size. I didn't order or try it in, but it looked pretty tasty and could easily why she made a happy empty plate! - Nutella Bread Pakora - Tastes like a bites-size Nutella fried donut! So good we ordered another one! - Helluva Hallawa Trio - I enjoyed sampling the 3 types of Hallawa, ranging in savory (carrot) to more sweet and milky (my favorite). - Mango Lassi - The sweetness of the mango lassi helped to balance out and absorb the spiciness of the food. - Masala Chai - Great ending to a meal, perfectG caffeine pick me up! Paired well with the Nutella bread Pakora. The other dishes on the menu were fun to try, but would probably skip and save room for my faves: - Aloo Sabzi and Katchuri - The dense hollow shell katchuri (similar to a round empanada) made of dhal lentil smothered in Aloo potato curry sabzi was very filling and dense. After a couple of bites, I threw in the towel. - Egg Burgi and Paratha - The masala spicy scrambled egg on paratha flatbread was kind of bland and a very small portion. - Mango Mimosa - While the mimosas were only $4, it was quite tangy and didn't pair well with the meal. I wish fresh mango juice was used instead of mango flavored juice (tastes like Izzy). The lunch buffet (Mon - Fri 12pm - 2:30pm for $23 wasn't the best experience. Admittedly, I came to the buffet at 1:30pm and the food was tepid and sadly overcooked under the heat lamp. The plates were very small and it was hard to fit a bunch of food. I went to the buffet at least 3 or 4 times to try out the dishes in search of the perfect bite, which I sadly couldn't. There were 5 main standard dishes with 3 vegetarian dishes (Dal Makhani, Aloo Ghobi, and Mehti Paneer) and 2 non-veg featuring both chicken dishes (Butter Chicken and Chicken Curry) and a galore of fried fritters/pakoras (spinach, onion, potato) with a couple of new rotating stations with Pani Puri (not much going on) and Spinach Tikki and Fish Pakora fried fritters. The Mehti Paneer was quite greasy with a coat of grease at the top and the paneer was pretty stiff. It wasn't tender. The Dal Makhani was bland. The potato aloo potatoes were brittle as they were sitting under the heat lamp too long. The best part about the meal was the fluffy naan, which was made-to-order. I enjoyed 2 rounds! Order the Masala Dosa crispy! When we got it the 1st time on the lunch special, it was a bit rubbery and soggy. After the server asked us a few times whether we liked it, my hubby relented and told him the honest answer. The server got the dosa re-made to go extra crispy, which did the trick! The masala potatoes paired well with the dosa. I wasn't a fan of the Sambar. Based on the glowing brunch and happy hour experience, I would come back to try the lunch buffet with an early start right when it opens!

Inside Tyson's mall. Introduced my dad to some new Indian dishes! The service was excellent! We…read morewere the only ones there and we stayed for a couple hours peacefully. I love that their naan is thin vs the typical thick kind at restaurants and stores. The lunch special had great choices on it including biryani and butter chicken! Thanks for that! I enjoyed the masala chai tea, nice that it came with tea cookies, just wished it was a larger glass. I figured I'd like masala lemonade, and hadn't seen it on a menu before, the server cautioned me and offered a sample before I order it. sorry to say ew yuck but we tried it respectfully. I was verrryy shocked by the taste, almost tasted ritualistic it was so oddly gross. Lol Best service I've ever had at an Indian restaurant and food was delicious per usual of Indian food. One of my top 5 foods. Go, enjoy!!!
