Tables of various sized with the bbq in the center can accommodate any party size. To keep it short, the standard combo was more than enough food for two hungry guys. Quality of everything is great. Our helpful waitress did all of the cooking. As it got busier, we did have to wait a bit for our desserts and check. But overall will come back.

Unfortunately, especially as a regular diner at Korean barbeque/Japanese yakiniku restaurants at a similar price point of ~$50-150pp, I can't say that I was satisfied. When it came to taste, Seoul Prime felt very average. From the get-go, the raw Hanger Steak came out as cuts of irregular cubic chunks rather than the typically thinner slices. The meat itself was not stellar, even though it was tender. Pieces of fat were left on and it didn't seem like much of anything was really seasoned (and this is coming from someone who eats on the blander side). I expected the Marinated Rib Finger to be the most flavorful, but even that did not taste very marinated. At similar restaurants, the taste of the steak alone with maybe a dash of salt or wasabi is enough to carry the meal without much need for any other sauce. Here, I felt like I needed to save my steak with ssamjang, which tasted alright. Additionally, I would've liked a more traditional sesame oil-based sauce over the mustard, but that's personal preference. With this, the available sauces did not help make the steak any better. The sides we ordered (Soybean Brisket Stew & Volcano Egg Souffle) were average; there are definitely places in the area that do better on the sides department alone. From the ambiance to pricing of Seoul Prime, it's clear that the restaurant aims to present itself as a more upscale KBBQ experience compared to the many more casual KBBQ restaurants in the area. From dropping my fork off my plate when serving meat to continuously mentioning that they are new and conversing about all things not steak--our server's banter and visible lack of experience did not match the experience Seoul Prime seeks to give, even if they were really friendly. They also left our Marinated Rib Finger on for too long at the end, which definitely burnt due to the marinade. With the abundance of KBBQ restaurants in NoVa, I'm not sure I'd return.

I'd recommend looking at some of the less popular items or asking the servers for recommendations. The staff is friendly but also casual, and it's clean enough that I have had no issues with it. My personal recommendation: the bun cha Han Noi - it's a cold rice noodle dish with chargrilled pork and meatballs with a mountain of vegetables. The fish sauce is actually sweet and good as a "starter" for Western taste buds because it's less funky than other types. I'd stay away from the coffee because it doesn't seem strong enough. There are other places in Eden Center to get a coffee that'll knock you on your ass. They also don both cash and card, so that's a plus. They're no orators but their English is just fine to get what you want. You'll like this place.

So I'm updating my review because it's well deserved! I have started ordering from Hai Duong through Uber Eats again in the last year and so much improvement! The food arrives fast, hot, and with very generous portions. They are definitely not stingy like I had experienced in the past. I love it when businesses take feedback to be better. In the last year, we usually order the Mi Nam Vang and Mi Bo Kho, and both are consistently excellent. This past weekend, we finally decided to eat at the restaurant in person at Eden Center, and it was just as good as when we order delivery. The guy seating people was very polite and friendly, and our food came out pretty quickly. We ordered the Bun Mam and Mi Nam Vang, and both were amazing. Everything tasted fresh and came out super hot, which I love. There are plenty of condiments on the table if needed, but honestly the broth is so flavorful that you do not really need them. They also give a great portion of protein, which I really appreciate. The place was packed and clearly very popular, and I can see why. I will definitely continue to support Hai Duong and hope they get even more business. And I appreciate that they got so much better compared to during COVID times, Great work, Hai Duong!

I love that they still serve salad and miso soup with your order. I got the combo roll lunch special and it was definite worth it in my opinion. If I were to compare them with clothing brands, the top tier restaurants would be akin to Hermès: impeccable, yes, but you're refinancing your apartment just to sit at the counter. Takumi is Ted Baker: genuinely refined, quietly stylish, and doesn't require a second mortgage to appreciate. The fish is flown in fresh daily. There is no cream cheese within a 50-foot radius of this kitchen. No yum yum sauce. No roll named after a questionable life decision. Just pristine fish doing pristine fish things. The menu is tight -- bento boxes, focused apps, nothing that needs a paragraph of explanation. The fried oysters and squid tentacles are mandatory. Non-negotiable. Do not test me on this. Then the subtle flex begins: yuzu, truffle, shiso placed with quiet confidence, mango puree that sounds wrong and tastes right, an Old Bay finish that would make Maryland weep with pride, and a Kalamata olive that has absolutely zero business being this good on a sushi menu -- and yet. This is a kitchen that knows exactly what it's doing and doesn't need your validation. For top tier sushi in Falls Church, go with Takumi if you skew towards traditional, go to Yume if you prefer modern more creative options.

Food: The Yinyang Bowl (B) was the star of the meal for me. It comes with Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen and Sapporo Miso Ramen, plus braised pork, chashu pork, shrimp tempura, half a marinated egg, bamboo shoots, corn, zucchini, and scallions. There was plenty of food, and I loved being able to try two different ramen options in one bowl. Both broths were really good, and the whole combination worked so well. Ramen noodles was cooked to perfection! Wings: The wings were also good and had a lot of flavor. My only complaint was that they got a little soggy sitting in the sauce. I'd probably get the sauce on the side next time so they stay crispier. Atmosphere: The vibe was fire. I loved the decor, and the whole place felt warm, inviting, and comfortable. It's the kind of spot where you can actually relax and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. Overall: Really enjoyed this place. The portions were generous, the ramen was delicious, and the Yinyang Bowl is such a great option if you want to try more than one broth. Between the food, decor, and overall atmosphere, I'd definitely come back and try more of the menu.
