Sorry. I wanted to like you better. But I can't. Went in Sunday night at 6 p.m. and our waitress came over quickly to bring us chips and get our drink order. The drinks arrived quickly and then.....and then....and then.....By 6:45 we had to make a decision, wait for our food and leave our kids stranded at Youth Group at church, or try to get our food to go and then reheat it at home. We decided to get them to box it after my wife let them know of our problem. They boxed our order (a burrito for her and two beef enchiladas for me -- not exactly a big or complicated order) and then charged us full price although we certainly didn't feel after the extraordinarily long wait that we got full value from them. No apologies, no discount. Nothing. The food was meh. I don't think we'll give them a second chance. There are too many other good Mexican restaurants locally to take any more chances. read more

The food and service here are great! We ordered the chicken enchiladas and one of the specials (I'm sorry I don't recall the name). Both meals were delicious, served piping hot and quickly. The service was also great with friendly staff immediately greeting us, taking our orders and offering suggestions from favorites on the menu. My wife and I stopped in for dinner one night when we were looking for a new mexican spot. The food wasn't bad but also wasn't anything to come back for. We also tried the margaritas and they were average I'd say. The only complaint I could have is that there was a VERY annoying and most likely intoxicated gentleman at the bar who was literally screaming every minute it seemed. I had a really bad experience at this restaurant. The food was BLAH. I love Mexican food but this was such a disappointment. Everything came out lukewarm. The cheese tasted really funky. The beans were so runny it looked more like bean soup! The enchiladas were awful. My friend ordered a "frozen" margarita but she said it just tasted and felt like a crappy carton of room temperature fruit concentrate blended with tequila-- didn't actually feel frozen. It's also a little weird that they don't have fountain soda. When I ordered a Diet Coke they brought me a 20 oz plastic bottle. It also took us almost two hours to get out of there simply because service was so slow--- and it wasn't even busy! It was ok. I passed by a couple weeks ago and it looked busy... We went in at 145 and it was empty... Surely a bad sign :( but we made the effort and we haven't had good Mexican in a very very long time. I ordered some enchiladas, my daughter the 3 tacos... My water glass stayed empty at least 5 minutes. My food came out cold after waiting waaaay too long, my daughter's piping hot, so I guess they fixed mine and then hers... The chips were delicious, the salsa was very watery, thus messy. My plate was pretty... But a cold cheese enchilada that had re-solidified is not very palatable. And my daughters tacos- while hot, the ground beef was still pink, and that's a big no-no with e.coli. And after a $24 bill ( we drank ice water) this was not worth it... Delivery took an hour but I anticipated it since they aren't in the neighborhood. The chicken tamales are full of flavor and the Sopa de Gallina was delicious. Honestly through my experience with two amigos I have loved it for the time that I've been coming here. I normally sit at the bar and enjoy their delicious margaritas. I normally pick off of the menu items that include mostly appetizers but everything is so delicious and have never had a bad experience. I get exceptional service and feel welcomed as well. I'm not sure why there is bad reviews on the pricing of the food which i think is acceptable because my apps are normally around $2. I have met the owners and have seen the restaurant grow and upgrade as well. Def worth the try! read more

This place is ok but not great. I ordered the chile relleno and it was relatively greasy. The beef also had gristle. As for the service...below mediocre. Bar Staff were constantly buried in their cell phones. They also kept bringing items that we didn't order. I love this place it's our Go to when we have a busy schedule and need to unwind , I don't get home until really late and it helps that this place is 24/7 the fry fish is easily some of the best I've ever had ( don't tell my mom ) it's so soft yet crispy at the same time and seasoned just right !!! I love the carne salade ( steak salad ) I add a few pieces of grilled shrimp and it becomes a late night guilty pleasure . The sopa- soups are really good as well the meat is tender and and everything taste fresh . The margaritas are super strong and tasty and huge, I can never finish alone ... luckily I have my husband lol . Staff is pretty friendly and good they know us pretty well by now and make us feel comfortable ! This place is going downhill, yesterday I went to Two Amigos wanting to get some authentic latin flavor food, and half of the menu was not available, no credit cards accepted because according to the staff, all computers were down. If you have an establishment open to the public, make sure you have all what you offer, and educate your waitresses, because they do not know anything about customer service. For the main dish, got Carne Asada- flavorful with a weird after-taste, and the meat tasted cheap, not the flank/skirt steak usually used for this type of dish. The portion of the meat about 4-5 oz was not worth $12.99 either. Like the person two posts down said the rice was like rice-a-roni, the beans horrible, and the steak was the worst. Pupusas are also horrible, small, greasy, and served with old cabbage slaw on the side. The owner/cook/manager is the meanest person ever. I am in love with this restaurant. I can't eat spicy food and Two Amigos food is so flavorful they don't have to hide behind heat. I've had the seafood enchiladas and seafood quesadillas the shrimp are large and fresh and I don't know what Cancun sauce is but it is wonderful. I literally thought about the food for days after eating here the first time. They start you out with chips and salsa and we ordered the queso dip as well. The chips are thin but tasty. They hold up to the salsa but break off in the queso which is fine just grab another chip and try again. The guacamole was fresh and delicious. The service was good friendly and timely. I have teenagers and they love to come here after a late night of video games and they are always made to feel welcome. They love the nachos. There aren't many places you can get good late night or early morning eats but you can here. Highly recommend this restaurant. read more

I ordered through uber eats. My food never came! Uber eats graciously refunded my order because the driver never showed up! I received a refund. I reordered my food $50 worth. The order came wrong! Had incorrect items made. I called and spoke to a manger. An older gentleman told me to reorder my food and that I would get compensated for the extra items and that he would take care of the overage on my account that evening. Never happened!! After a month of trying to speak to a manager, calling at different times of the day, I was able to reach one. The young female said that She was unable to help me because the transaction was made through uber eats, and when I explained that's how her coworker/manager explained that was the way to get my order expedited, basically that it was his idea, she still refused to help and offered a discount on food the next time I came. Why would I come and spend money in the establishment when the establishment OWES me!!! I will never eat here again. They basically conned me into ordering food and paying more and not refunding me when they said they would. There seems to be a disconnect between the managers. Uber eats was unwilling to refund the order for the 3rd transaction because they just refunded me the 1st. The Lady on the phone that I just spoke to said said "ok" and didn't seem to really care when I mentioned how upset I was about being overcharged.
