I bought a truck from here and I thought I was getting a pretty good deal. After only having the truck for 3 weeks the air suspension went out and my fuel light kept coming on but I would have full tank. So I took the truck in to be looked at and before they could tell me what was going on it would take like 4 hours for them to get an answer.So I waited and after 4 hours I still didn't have an answer if they were going to fix this or not.I waited another hour for them to tell me exactly nothing.Basically don't buy a car from here they sold me a truck that had problems and I got the run around from the store manager. read more

After speaking with Jack(Sales Mgr) at Tracy Ford and explaining the horrible experience we had at Livermore Ford trying to buy our 2015 Ford Expedition, he set us up with Michael Wallace. His character stood above ANY sales person I have ever had to deal with. He was honest, transparent, straight forward, and made our experience fun and effortless. We told him our story and that we had been trying to get this vehicle from Livermore Ford since mid May (getting the runaround the entire time) and needed to have it prior to our 3rd child being born (I am currently at the hospital now with my wife who is getting ready). We negotiated terms with the salesman on a 2007 Ford we had looked at. He called back after checking with the manager and said we had a deal. We drove all the way over there to sign the papers and the sales manager started by saying they could only repair a couple of the items that we had previously identified as needing to be fixed or they had to increase the payments $30 a month to cover them. Then he had the nerve to try to do the deal that we agreed was for 48 months for 72 months! An increase of almost $8,000! A classic case of bait and switch. I highly recommend Tracy Ford to everyone if you are looking to purchase a vehicle. The sales team (and I emphasize the word team) worked together from the moment I stepped on the lot. The salesman helped me find a car that fit within my budget and had all the features I was looking for. I went to Tracy Ford looking for a nice reliable car for my daughter. I met George Garcia and he showed my daughter and I lots of reliable cars. He was very helpful.She picked out a newer Ford Fiesta and she had a certain payment she had to be under. This is when we met Jack. Nicest guy you will ever meet. He got her into that car within her payment range. Then Nate came along and worked on it some more and got it down even farther (he didn't have to do this but he took the time and did it). Then that day I saw a suburban I wanted in the worst way. George called me and said come down we are going to put you into that truck. I was reluctant but excited, I had wanted one of these trucks for over 10 years it just seemed like they were always out of my payment range. Not only did Jack work his magic, but got me into this with no money down. Then Nate came along and worked his magic to make my payment lower than what was expected. My husband and I have bought our share of cars and trucks, but never have we had such service as with this dealer. I could not say one negative experience I had with them. We were told they would be shipped to us within a week. It has now been 6 weeks and no floor mats. My wife and I purchased a 2006 Dodge Dakota from Tracy Ford in April this year. We were taken to the bank and it is as simple as that. They sold it as in excellent condition even though the truck had body damage and rust, well worn tires, Brakes that squeal and a broken seat belt connector that was tucked under the back seat and was not found until later. They misrepresented the financing to my wife and me and shopped us out to 9 different lenders even though we came in with a check from my lender. Jack SMith is the General Sales Manager and he epitomizes everything we have ever though of for Used Car Sales men. They shove papers at you fast and furious and if you are not a savy buyer you will get taken advantage of. They eventually fixed the body damage and put two new tires on the back but left two used tires on the front. The brakes still squeal loudly. I do nto trust them and would encourage you to consider buying a vehicle somewhere else. The bottom line is we ended up spending $16,000 for a vehicle which is not worth more than $13,000. Small Claims court is an option but who has time for that. I am serious when I say consider buying from anyone other than Tracy Ford. read more

This is my second time buying a car from Tracy Ford. The first time I bought a truck here, and the experience was alright, but I've had so many problems with the service department that I promised myself I would never get a car from here again. However, I had found a Toyota Camry last weekend that I loved. Juan Delgado was our salesman and I told him I love the car but hate the service department. He immediately apologized for the experience we've had and said he could make up for it with his great customer service if we decided to choose to purchase the car, and he did!! He was great helping us get into the car with the payments we wanted. He offered us waters and sorts to keep us comfortable while going through the process. We had our children with us, a 3 year old and 4 year old, and he was patient when they were getting antsy while waiting. In fact he went and got them coloring books to keep them busy. So we took our car home, excited to drive around and show it off but it wouldn't start. The battery was completely dead. My fiancé called Juan to let him know and Juan took action right away. He called his supervisor to get us a new car battery at no charge since we were told the battery just needed cleaning when really it was dead. He got us into the service department right away and I've been happy since. Juan deserves 10 stars; however, I'm still "iffy" about the service department which is why I gave 4 stars. I would buy a car again from them as long as Juan is our salesman. He is GREAT! read more

I don't know if there is a zero rating but if so Tracy Ford deserves it. The final straw was when we needed a copy of our loan agreement and went to Stockton Bank to get a copy. At the same time we found our original copy only to find out that fraud had been committed. There were 2 sections of the contract that were marked out and something else written in and someone forged my boyfriend's initials twice. I highly advise everyone who has purchased a car there to get a copy of the loan from the bank and compare it to your original. The beginning of the process of buying the car was awful also. I went in orginally to buy it myself but did not qualify so they asked my boy friend to put it in his name. He already had had 4 brain surgeries at that time and needed to eat so that I could give him his antiseizure medication. Everyone kept telling us the transaction would be very quick. We told them we would only do 48 months and pay $500.00 a month. Six hours later when Ed could hardly hold up his head the finance guy finally got the contract to print. By that time it was sign here, here, here and here. I rushed Ed out and got him some food axcross the street immediately. The folowing day he was in the hospital again and has ended up having 8 total brain surgeries so far. A couple of months after the purchase I pulled out the contract and noticed that everything Ed and I had agreed to had changed on the contract. The terms had been changed to 84 months not 48, the service plan and maintence plan that we were told by the sales person and the finance guy that was suppose to be free, we we were charged for totalling almost $4,000.00, and the GAP insurance that we were told was included we were charged $795.00 for. I sent a letter to the new owners and they directed me to the general manager. When we met with him he was so smug and condescending. He virtually was not willing to help us at all. I learned a big lesson here. Don't ever trust anyone. They knew how sick Ed was and still took full advantageof the situation. I trusted that they had a conscience and boy was I stupid. Beware of this dealership and check your paperwork!!!!! read more

Later I found out that the car that I had purchased was not my dream car the car had a heading pump issue, the cd player didn't work the dvd player didn't work I had asked for them to fix the issue but they had tried different ways for me to just keep the car. Had the worst experience buying a car with this company. Attempted to buy a car placed a large down payment, left with the car. It didn't work out we went to return the car. There was a total lack of communication on there part from the manager whaid nasrap, to the cars sales men. Nothing but lies, they couldn't get it together enough to get our money back. I have purchased my last two vehicles at Ford (San Leandro and Seattle). There wasn't any doubt coming in to Tracy Ford that the experience would be pleasant. We had a great sales woman. I could say she was friendly, but in reality sales people are suppose to be friendly before they push you into a sale. Our sales woman, Alyssa, was friendly but she also listened to what we were looking for specifically. The finance department was great and worked hard to get us a good rate; and we left with a 2014 Ford Fusion, with low mileage and a full tank of gas. This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had having someone service my car. They sure rush you in to get a service ticket but from there your car is held hostage. They did not return one phone call after leaving a message because you can't get a live voice to speak with. I left 4 messages and not one return call. The they closed for the day. They have had my car for two days and I can't get an update. They have no concept of service or concern for their customers. Stay as far away as you can from this dealership. It seems like it is done on purpose, nobody and I mean nobody can be this horrible. I still have no idea what is going on with my vehicle. I am notifying the BBB and telling the people I know to stay clear. Shame on you FORD for allowing this. And by the way, I will report this to ford corporate as my cousin is in upper management a deals with dealership evaluations. Giving this dealership one star is being very generous. We had nothing but horrible service since we purchased our vehicle. It took several days for us to get the vehicle after we signed the papers. When we finally got it, there were lose and missing bolts on the front fender. They attempted to fix it by putting the wrong bolts back on. They fell off again. We took it in for it's first service. We waited 20 minutes at the service counter before we were helped. Employees were just standing around talking. We were waiting with a few other people that were pretty frustrated about wrong oil being put in their car as well as warranties not being warranted. That should have been our que to get the heck out of there. We finally dropped the keys off and were told we would be called when it was ready. After waiting all day, we called to see if our car was ready. We were told they were closed and it has been ready. It would have been nice if they called like they were suppose to. We rushed over and were able to pick up our car. The detail job was horrible, they put the wrong kind of oil in the car, and they STOLE the GPS card out of our car along with our lotto tickets!!! Who does that!?? This is beyond upsetting. If you are considering purchasing a car through Tracy Ford, beware that they have HORRIBLE customer service, they are RUDE, and worst of all....THIEVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be contacting the BBB. We had started our vehicle search with our local Ford dealer, but through some internet research, came in contact with Leonard from Tracy Ford. Over the course of a few days of email exchanges with Leonard, while we were traveling out of state, we came to an agreement on a vehicle with our exact specifications and a price that we felt was more than fair. Leonard had the vehicle transferred for us, as well as got our financing applications moving, so that when we returned to town, everything was ready to go. This was by far the easiest, most stress free car buying experience I've ever had. Leonard was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and made the process smooth. Bobby in finance had us in and out in a limited amount of time, with no added pressures. i went to see about buying a truck drove one at tracy ford, with salesman abe. liked the 150 i wanted a midsize but this is the smallest they make so bought it. i really liked how it drove. got it home and went to class at csu turlock and could not get it parked in the stall not enough room to pull in between two cars, omg how nerve racking. i called abe told him how difficult it was he thought it was easy until i went down to ford and had him try it at the mall, he was unable to do it without backing up twice. i wanted to give it back but he did not know if they would do it or maybe work something out because i could not use the truck it would just sit. $40,000 is a lot not being able to use it. abe said he would talk with general manager and call me next morning well by 4pm i had to call and no answer so i called and asked for gen.manager first he said he did not know about it, then when i asked why abe did not call me he said busy but for 7 hours? then all of a sudden he remembered something coming across his desk but said he would not do anything to help me,would not take truck back, which i never mentioned. he became defensive and would not talk things over so i told him for get i will trade it in at another dealership. there will be signs on the truck and at my home not to buy at tracy ford. terrible people! what goes around comes around. i will also let ford corp. know how bad of a name they are developing for them. read more

High Pressure Sales, Waste of Time , Not Worth the Drive. Called phone answering sends you to a maze of voice mail and are told you will be called back within 3 business days. When I finally talked to someone. Salesman Rich. asked if car was still in stock , in inventory. wasn't sure, asked to check before I made a 1 hour drive. Rich seemed bothered to do a physical check if vehicle was there. made 1 hour drive out. within 30 minutes of our last conversation. I tell Rich in 20-25 minutes away. wants to make sure I'm coming , if not he was going to leave early for the day. When I get there the vehicle was dirty and the dash was cut out & destroyed. This should have been repaired or wholesaled out. Rich just laughed at me and said i was unreasonable. I'm sure this dealership will do fine without my sale. But they will never get my $$$$$$. read more

Very similar experience to our experience at Livermore Toyota. It started out great. We were helped by Raheel Samson who is absolutely fantastic. Helpful, friendly, and very very knowledgeable. A definite asset to a sales team. We would have loved to buy a car from him but that is where the great experience ended. We were just comparing vehicles at the time, seeing what we liked best and made it clear to Raheel and the finance guy (who tried to force us to buy a car right then). I don't recall the finance guys name, wish I did. I looked at the online employee list and do not see him so maybe he no longer works here. I know that people say that the pressure tactics that are used by dealers are because studies show that if the customer leaves without buying then they are not likely to come back. BUT I say that is because of the awful pressure tactics! Makes no sense. I left and would never come back to this dealer because the finance guy was so awful. In fact, we talked with the salesman at Livermore Ford several times and stopped in twice before buying with them. Just goes to show that if you treat people right, they will come back. If it was possible I would give this dealership a 0/5 stars, hands down worst experience ever! The salesmen are like sharks, they're up in your business before you can even get out of your car. A very good friend of mine has had a pretty rough year, which includes getting his car repo'd because he couldn't afford it after Obamacare demanded he paid for expensive health insurance, and getting discharged from the military against his will for medical reasons (which are BS). So i decided to help him out as best I can and co-sign for him. after being in the dealership for 4 hours we finally got around to getting stuff done. we negotiated a price and everything and went into the finance department to get everything signed and even that guy was rude and had a negative attitude toward us. Now I bought a new car from Tracy Dodge last year so I knew what to ask for and what to confirm with them and one of those things was the loan, we where assured the loan was taken care of and we where to good to go. Turns out, a week later we got a call from the bank financing our vehicle telling us they don't finance out to people in contra costa county and we needed to get the car back ASAP. After 3 days of calling the dealership and nobody answering or getting told they where finding us a new bank, they finally found us a bank that will cooperate for the exact terms we agreed on..... or so we where told. After driving the 45 minutes to the dealership we found out that the statement we where told was a lie. the new bank was in fact demanding a $2000 down payment on top of what he already put down. At that point we said hell no and gave them the keys, filled out the returning paperwork, and asked for our down payment back. You guessed it, they couldn't get it! so now we are waiting to hear back from them on when we can go get it. My buddy lost his car and his job because he couldn't get to work and needed to attend to this issue. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! read more

I am generally unimpressed by anyone that works in Customer Service for Ford. From the sales team to the parts department, we have been disappointed time and time again. All of this changed today when I got home from a long night at work and couldn't start my 2016 Explorer, 20 minutes after driving it home from work. With 9mo old twins screaming in my ear, I frantically called Tracy Ford in hopes of a suggestion of what to do (as it didn't seem like a battery issue I could just jumpstart and fix). This is when Jonathan Eme came to my rescue! He suggested I jumpstart the car and head over so they could take a look, so I did just that. I arrived to find Jonathan more personable than I imagined possible. He quickly got the process going and kept me informed the whole time. The problem was just as he had suspected on the phone, so he told us the fix would take approximately an hour or so and got to work. I returned to find my Explorer back to normal and starting without effort once again. He took the time to explain the problem and furthermore, offered more than "small talk" to smooth over the rough day. He was kind and genuine, and Ford needs to hire more people like him. Today I went to buy my car at the end of the lease. An employee called me to schedule an appointment and stated it would only take 20 minutes. I came in today with my husband as back up and thank god I did! We started to fill out paper work and then someone was working on things in the back. I heard the general sales manager "Steve", who was too coward to apologize, yelling in his office " I don't have time for this F$?!ing loan, this is a waste of my time..... With foul language, like I was really a problem that I came to buy my car. Then sent out another manager that said I could move to a different cubicle so I didn't have to hear him yelling profanities and also made threats about how my only option was to buy the car there and I didn't have any other option since it was a lease. Not once was there an apology for their words, threats and horrible customer service. I will never be back for service or to buy a car and I STRONGLY URGE YOU TO GO TO ANOTHER FORD DEALERSHIP!!!!!! Also it was a 2 hour process that was truly one of the worst experiences in my life. I am completely appalled that Ford would hire such horrible employees and promote them to a manager role. read more

This update to my initial review of Tracy Ford should be titled, what a difference a day makes. When I submitted my first review I was obviously less than pleased and maybe a little overly harsh. The day after my review posted (June 9th) I recieved a call from Mike Wallace and by the end of our phone call my loyalty had been restored in Tracy Ford. Not only was he understanding and candid he managed to solve every dilemma with our experince within the course of a morning. I can now happily report that we have a contract in place for our new car and a good one. All the discrepancies in regaurds to our trade in were resolved and apologized for and our loan to Golden One was paid in full. Also I feel the need to apologize to Mrs. Cheatwood the customer relations manager whom I said did not return my phone call. Turns out she was out of the office but still took the time to call me later the evening of the 9th to make sure I was satisfied, which under the circumstances most people would not have done but I really appreciate that she did. All around it was a regrettable experience but Tracy Ford made it right, apologized and met all my needs to the best of their ability and you cannot ask for more than that! read more

I took my truck in for 100k service and took them 4 days, 2 days pass the date that they told me (No extra issues). Then I go to pick up my truck and they dented up my driver door. Said that they would fix it and they tried. They used their on-site dent guys and got dents out but didn't paint scratched or chips caused by dents and was told that you don't have paint guys. Told them that this was not acceptable and wanted to talk to manager. Of course he was not available and would call me. Never did call back, left messages and never returned calls. Made visit to dealership to talk to manager or owner and again no one available to talk to. On this return visit there was another guy complaining about scratches to his fenders by the hood. Made claim with my auto insurance company and they are getting the run around and not getting back to them ether and giving wrong dealership insurance info to them. So not only did I pay $1000+ for the service repairs, now I am stuck paying my $500 deductible to fix my truck. I will never go back and I don't recommend. read more
