To start, they did not put me up to this but I had to share. Just had a great buying experience at Tracy Toyota. Pricing - they do the no haggle thing so if you know what you want to buy your car for, it's great. No add-ons, fees, or stupid games - they charge for the car, tax, and dmv. That's it. Nice people - had a smooth experience with Nour, my sales rep. That happens but I also had a great experience with the finance guy. That usually doesn't happen as finance are usually the people who pile it on. In short, I am a happy customer. I think you can trust these guys to make you happy too. read more

Very disappointing customer service experience at Toyota service in Tracy on September 24, 2026. I had a scheduled appointment at 1:15 PM for a recall on my Camry. I arrived about eight minutes early and got in line. An employee came up to me, confirmed that I had an appointment, placed a cone on my vehicle, and walked away. I was then told to wait. While I was waiting, several other vehicles arrived after me, including people who had appointments later than mine, and they were taken in for service ahead of me. I continued waiting, assuming the staff knew I was there for my scheduled 1:15 appointment. At approximately 1:37 PM, an employee named Mauricio came over and told me that I did not have a 1:30 appointment. I explained that I never said I had a 1:30 appointment,my appointment was at 1:15 PM. What was especially frustrating was that nobody had actually asked me what time my appointment was or verified my appointment information before assuming there was an issue. Mauricio then told me that they had to take other vehicles in but that they still had time to take my vehicle. At that point, it felt as though I was being treated like they were doing me a favor, when I had arrived early for my scheduled appointment and had already been waiting while customers with later appointments were being taken ahead of me. I ultimately decided to leave and take my vehicle to another Toyota dealership. The recall itself was not the issue, the customer service and lack of communication were. If there had simply been a delay, I would have understood. What I found unacceptable was being told to wait while other customers with later appointments were taken ahead of me, and then having an employee approach me more than 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment and make an assumption about my appointment time without first asking or verifying it. A simple conversation and better communication could have prevented the entire situation. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will be taking my vehicle elsewhere for the recall. read more

Positive: We had the privilege of working with Joshua Poulsen. He is a honest salesman. We agreed on a price, he didn't fudge the numbers, start to finish with him was a positive experience. Negative: Only thing I didn't appreciate, is probably a dealerships decision. We purchased a used car from them... after completing paperwork and getting ready to leave.. noticed 1) they didn't have any mats in the car. 2) they only supplied us with one key. This was for a 2yr old car. At the prices the cars are selling at, I can't believe those two things are not provided as regular preparation for a sale. We purchased a 2024 Kia Sportage (which we are pleased with..).. now we have to order mats and search around to order the key and have it programmed. These keys are linked to the computer, not just a regular key. ‍ Thank you Josh... we appreciated your service. You got the job done. Sharine ‍ read more

I've been coming to Tracy Toyota for service since the pandemic but stopped about a year ago due to excessive wait times. I received a $29.95 oil change coupon and decided to give them another chance. I arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment and ended up sitting in my car--freezing--for over 35 minutes. Even 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, I still hadn't been checked in. Completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Period. read more

My experience with the sales team was quite pleasant, especially my sales rep, Sadat. He was professional and engaging but not pushy. Yes, I push-pulled with his team, they push the no price haggle line but overall, the experience was quite pleasant and I found a car I wanted. The transactions went pretty smoothly, just a long wait time for the financial closing. The finance officer was very nice though and took the time to give detailed answers to my questions. Know what you want to buy and what your limit is. read more

I had previously had bad experiences with the sales department. In 2024 I decided to purchase my daughter a new camry from Maita Toyota and then bought my self a 2024 camry a few weeks later fromToyota of santa maria. Due to the poor customer service I had received from Tracy Toyota. I deceided to see how ther service depart was and for 2 years I had both camrys serviced there. I made a apointment to have one of cars serviced. I had made arrangment to change my work schedule that day. They called 3 hours before my appointment and said the had over booked and could not help me. I will never recomend this dealership to anyone and encourage others to do the same. read more

You take your car to the dealership when something is wrong. That's stressful enough. Then they diagnose what is wrong and that becomes even more stressful. But then you have a liaison, like I did, his name was Mikey Shaw and that made everything easier. He was the most understanding, communicative and most helpful I could have asked to work with. Mikey has been more than helpful and communicative person during this whole process of mine. He was able to pivot options for me until it fit what worked best for me. I couldn't have understood what was going on or how to get through it if it wasn't for Mikey. I'm thankful and glad I was able to find my person at Toyota. Thank you Mikey. read more

I I have been trying to reach the service department for the past two days, but no one answers the phone. On one occasion, I was placed on hold for 35 minutes, and after waiting that long, the call was disconnected. When I finally spoke with someone, I simply requested a basic oil change. Instead, I was repeatedly offered additional services that I did not ask for, and I was quoted a price of $89 without a clear explanation. I made it very clear that I only want an oil and filter change--nothing more. I am disappointed with the lack of responsiveness and the push for unnecessary services. I would appreciate a clear explanation of the standard oil change price and assistance in scheduling a basic oil change appointment. read more

Flat tire called to see if they had the tire in stock ( a special dealership tire, they had the tire and told us to have it towed there. After we arrived and they found out it was a warranty tire they then told us they did not have time to do today or tomorrow, give me a break this was to put a tire on. They did agree to sell us the tire (would not honor the Toyota warranty) but would not put it on. We were 2 hours from home 4 senior ladies. We had to arrange another tow to Les Schwab where they were wonderful. The customer service at Tracy Toyota is horrible. read more

I went to Tracy Toyota to buy a used 2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid Touring AWD, after coordinating with Khalil Abousoud via email. I let them know I was driving in from San Jose and was ready to purchase if the vehicle checked out. Before moving forward, I had the car inspected by my independent mobile mechanic, Hugo. Within just 15 minutes, he uncovered several serious issues -- including permanent system fault codes related to the vehicle stability assist, blind spot radar, tailgate module, and power window controls, as well as low brake fluid and an active valve cover oil leak. The cost to repair all of these issues was estimated at around $7,000. Only after we presented these findings did Khalil mention that the car had been inspected by Tracy Toyota's in-house mechanic, but admitted "they may not have done a deep dive." Despite the clear safety and mechanical concerns, the dealership made no effort to reduce the price or offer to fix the problems in order to complete the sale. While the CARFAX report showed no accident history, the number and type of faults found strongly suggest that the vehicle may have been in a previous incident that went unreported. Either way, it had clearly not been properly vetted for resale. This entire experience was a waste of time and extremely frustrating -- especially after making a long trip with every intention to buy. If you're considering a used vehicle from Tracy Toyota, do not rely on their internal inspection or the CARFAX report alone. Bring your own mechanic, or you could end up with unexpected and expensive repairs. read more

Terrrible business. They are addibg a $3500+ upcharge on the Rav4's because they are in demand as a "lack of Inventory charge" or some BS. Salesman told me if he could sell me this one they had available at sticker price would I buy it today and I said yes just send me that in writing and I'll come down and buy it. Completely ghosted me after that. Terrible business just a bunch of cons. Who in their right mind would just set fire to $3,500 for nothing just to purchase the car? You got to be completely stupid to do something like that and these con men don't care. There's names for people like that other than common but I'll leave that up to your imagination. I will never ever take a call from this place or have anything to do with them again... read more

Purchasing my Sienna at Toyota of Tracy was a smooth and pleasant experience. I worked with Tim and Alberto, who were both very responsive and kept me updated throughout the process, especially since this was a popular vehicle. This was my first time purchasing a brand new car from a dealership, and they made the experience enjoyable and stress free. After Alberto walked me through the paperwork, the finance process was quick and efficient--I was out the door with my new car in no time! We had our kids with us, and it was a nice touch that the dealership had a play area for them to enjoy. Alberto also went above and beyond by offering snacks and drinks for the kids, which we really appreciated. Overall, an excellent experience--thank you to the Toyota of Tracy team! read more

Huge shout out to Jesus who helped me buy my (slightly used) new Prius late on a Friday. My poor little 2013 Prius had a blown head gasket and it was time to stop throwing any more money in to it. I had looked online for used Prius in the 2022-2024 models in about a 50 mile radius from where I live. Spoiler alert...there aren't many. Upon seeing what Tracy Toyota had, I called to see if the website was accurate and ask a few questions about the cars. Mustafa helped me over the phone but his shift was over by the time I got out of work and was able to head over. Enter Jorge...he was friendly, efficient and made the whole process smooth. I knew what I wanted and they didn't try to push me in a different direction. Since you're there for a bit doing all the paperwork, he was also very friendly to talk to-time went by quickly! Easiest and quickest car buying experience! They had a few financing options and do take trade-ins. Unfortunately I couldn't drive my car over to them so couldn't take advantage of a trade in. I had done a ton of comparisons and they had the best prices and lowest mileage on the used Prius in stock out of multiple dealers and sites I looked on (and I searched from San Jose, up to Folsom and everywhere in the East Bay.) If you're in Contra Costa or Alameda counties, it's worth the drive out to Tracy and take advantage of their lower prices. I got an amazing deal with under 10k miles along with a pleasant car buying experience. read more

I brought my RAV4 in for its 60k maintenance, and from the moment I pulled into the service line, everyone was genuinely friendly. Mikey took care of me and kept it straightforward. He wasn't loud or salesy, just clear about what I needed, what he recommended, and then left the decision to me. Time matters, and he gave me a real ETA and actually got me out of there when he said he would. It was my first time at this dealership, and Mikey truly went above and beyond. Definitely coming back and looking for this gentleman. Thanks, Mikey! There should be more like you around other dealerships. read more

Thank you for your response. At no point during our visit to your dealership did we feel there was transparent or clear communication. While you state that all options were reviewed and voluntarily agreed to, our experience did not reflect that level of openness. Key information regarding financing and add-ons was not clearly explained upfront, and the overall process felt misleading rather than transparent. Going forward, I will not allow the dealership to communicate directly with my wife regarding any transactions or financing matters without my presence. Given how the deal was presented and finalized, this boundary is necessary due to the lack of clear and straightforward communication we experienced. This has significantly impacted our trust in your dealership. Additionally, we were told that the bank required the purchase of an extended warranty in order to receive a better interest rate. This representation felt misleading and reinforced our concerns about the sales tactics used during the transaction. Based on this experience, we are genuinely concerned about any future visits or interactions with your dealership. Our expectation is honest, direct, and transparent communication--something we did not receive. read more

I want to warn others about my recent experience at the Tracy Toyota Dealership. For the past two months, I'd been in contact with them regarding a Grand Highlander Hybrid. I reserved the car, and they shared the VSPEC sheet with me--clearly showing no dealer markups. Every time I asked about the price, including as recently as yesterday, they insisted the vehicle would be sold at MSRP. However, after the test drive today, they suddenly mentioned "one more thing": they typically charge $3,000 over MSRP. When I pushed back, they offered to "discount" it to $2,000 above MSRP. I called out the bait-and-switch and walked out. Just sharing this so others are aware of these deceptive practices before wasting time at this dealership. Edit to respond to the business: Tim, I have the VSPEC PDF, which has no dealer adjustments, as written proof. So your team sharing market adjustments before is just not accurate. Nobody attempted to reach me after the visit, so that is a lie as well. I checked my phone and email records. I have no interest in reaching out to your team, as I no longer trust this business. I read several similar experiences in other social forums as well, so I am not the outlier here. read more

Buying a car....this is an absolute make it break it deal for me on the sale's person because, for me, it's a purchase I do not look forward to so when Sadit at Tracy Toyota approached me on the lot, it was his authentic respectful nature, sincere listening skills that hear the 90% nonverbal communication, and his ability to sell the dealership and present options from the 10% I did communicate...., Sadit deserves the trophy for being the absolute best at navigating the sale's process to a professional female in the state of California!! I can only speak to what I know, and I will only share the experiences with distinguishing events that are worth sharing and I am sharing this consumer transaction experience for the first time because I know if I were a female thinking about buying a new or preowned vehicle, I would want to know the only place to go and who to work with is Tracy Toyota and request to work exclusively with Sadit!!! Started off by being able to be fitted in at a time that was convenient to me. Once I dropped off my vehicle, I was surprised that Tracy Toyota offers a complimentary shuttle service locally. The shuttle service not only helped me save some money by not needing to order an Uber, but it also got me home fast and early enough to drop my kids off at their first day of school. That same shuttle service picked me up from my home once my vehicle was finished. They provided me with a detailed video of my service (Which I was surprised they did) which showed me exactly what the technician was looking at. Denial of Basic Vehicle Maintenance Info from Tracy Toyota To Whom It May Concern, I'm writing to file a formal complaint regarding the service department at Tracy Toyota. I recently purchased a Toyota from a trusted friend who had always serviced the vehicle at Tracy Toyota. I contacted the dealership simply to ask for the date and mileage of the last oil change, as well as the recommended interval for the next one. The oil change sticker inside the vehicle is smeared and unreadable--the ink clearly wasn't dry before being exposed to heat. That, in itself, poses a safety concern. I attempted to call the service department repeatedly over the course of a full week, at different times of day, and received no answer. Eventually, I called another department and asked to be transferred. The service representative I finally spoke with refused to help. He claimed it was a "safety risk" to give me that basic information unless I brought the vehicle in--despite the fact that I live over an hour away and am not asking for service, just a date and mileage already in their records. I explained that I drive 6,000 miles a month, am a single mom of two, a full-time student, a bookkeeper, and I care for my mother who is on dialysis three times a week. Traveling to Tracy just to ask about an oil change is simply not feasible. He repeatedly put me on hold mid-sentence, said he was "getting his manager," but came back with the same refusal and talking points. Meanwhile, I was upset, crying, and simply trying to make sure I'm maintaining my vehicle responsibly. Out of desperation, I called another Toyota dealership nearby. They picked up immediately. Their response? "Just go by the light. That's what it's there for." Quick, respectful, and helpful....exactly how customer service should be. I am shocked and disappointed that Tracy Toyota's service department would refuse to give out basic, common-sense maintenance information to a Toyota driver, especially when the lack of that information could put someone at risk. How is denying oil change records not a safety issue, but sharing them is? read more

Review for my service department. Went for an oil change because they had a promo. Wait time to just speak to a service representative took 25 minutes. Then, whomever booked my appointment put it on the wrong day! They had took down notes for the special price, so I thought that was lost. However, Tatiana service representative was able to book me in despite the error and checked with her manager to help me! Honored that promo price for oil change! She was positive and willing to answer any questions as I checked in on the status of my vehicle a few times since I was in a time crunch. Was able to be done 1.5 hours later. Ling process compared to 15 minutes valvoline oil change locations, but I sid it to surprisingly save a few $$. read more

The sale man (Victor) was nice, but the financing advisor was very rude and unprofessional. They put a lots of add-ons to make up the price. $40k+ for a Rav4 Hybrid XLE is so ridiculous.
