Our sales guy did a great job. It was a very no pressure buying experience. If you purchase here, I recommend asking for Anthony. He was pretty good, and the manage approve purchase at the low Internet price, which I was a little worried about. We actually purchased a used Mazda instead of a Honda, and it was in decent shape for its age and mileage. We were given plenty of time for a test drive and left alone when we asked for some time to talk. It took a long time to buy the car, as is typical of every car buying experience at a dealer, but once we were in the finance office it was fast. My only complaints are that the arm rest in the back seat was pretty sticky on and behind it, and I noticed the morning after purchase that we did not have a copy of the manual in the glove box. Minus those two details, this was a 5/5 experience. read more

WARNING: DO NOT BUY HERE. I bought a new car (2024 honda prologue) last year. when I bought the car, it had some paint missing on the bumper, where the headlights are. I told the technician at Tracy Honda and they gave me a paint pen to touch it up. At ~7k miles, the paint got worse and started to chip away more. I contacted American Honda to get it fixed because the paint on the bumper was coming off and I could see the rubber seal of the headlights sticking out, they connected me with Walnut Creek Honda. When I got the car back from WC Honda, it came with the headlight still put on wrong. I mentioned it to the technician, that the headlight rubber was still visible and they told me that it was normal. I also mentioned to the technician that the back lights look like they are on wrong due to the empty space on one of the headlights, he said it was normal. A weeks later as I was washing my car I noticed that the light on the back of the driver side started to shake, but when I went in the daytime, it didn't shake. I went back to WC Honda and told them about the front & back headlight to the technician & he basically told me that it was not his problem. I called American Honda again, and they told me that I have to find a dealership that will accept the warranty and fix the car. I also saw that the dealership charged me 6k dollars more on the lease papers than stated by word. Very Shady Dealership read more

SERVICE DEPARTMENT I am very impressed with my 2 visits to Tracy Honda Service Department. After having a nightmare visit at Price Honda in Turlock, Tracy Honda was able to resolve my new care software update issue in one visit. Steve, the service advisor, was very attentive and responsive to my car's needs. Although it took almost 5 hours, their technician was able to diagnose and correct the problem. I'm very impressed with Tracy Honda and plan to take my 2026 Passport there for a future needs even though the dealership is about an hour away from my home in Turlock. read more

I purchased a certified pre-owned 2023 Honda HR-V from Tracy Honda on July 17. The day after I bought it, I noticed a cigarette/smoke odor inside. On July 19, I sent an email to Isaiah, the salesman, and General Managers Frank and James, to let them know about the issue and to see if they were willing to offer assistance in resolving it. Frank offered to aerate the vehicle, which required driving it back to the dealership. I took time off work, arranged rides, dropped it off July 23, and picked it up July 25. Immediately, I noticed the car smelled like cleaning products, but after driving it around for a couple of days, the cigarette/smoke odor returned. I emailed the dealership again and suggested solutions that didn't involve me having to drive out to Tracy again. James offered to have me pay for a local detail/ozone treatment and have the dealership help with the cost. I agreed, scheduled and paid for the treatment with a local detailer, emailed the invoice, and I received reimbursement on September 5. Unfortunately, the smell has returned. I want to acknowledge the attempts made by the dealership to resolve the issue, but at no point did anyone follow up to ask whether the aeration worked or whether the detail/ozone treatment had actually worked. I understand this is a used vehicle, but this was sold as a HondaTrue certified pre-owned vehicle, which includes a multi-point inspection process. I discovered the issue immediately after purchase, made multiple attempts to work with them, drove more than 240 miles round trip to address it, and ultimately went through a local treatment that has not provided a lasting solution. I'm disappointed with the overall experience and the lack of follow-through on an issue I raised immediately after the sale. This was my very first Honda purchase, and unfortunately, this has been my experience. I would still be open to hearing from the dealership if they have another reasonable solution, but based on my experience so far, I wouldn't recommend Tracy Honda to others. read more

Quite the joke of a dealership. Came in for a service on my accord and I wanted to sit inside the civic type r to check out the car. Was quickly denied entry into the car by management. Walked over to the Toyota dealership and they eagerly showed me their $71,000 Toyota Supra. Giving the stars for Kevin at their service center for fitting me in last minute. read more

I visited Tracy Honda to get a new key and have it programmed, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. My service advisor, Mingo, is always my go-to whenever I have an issue with my Honda. He consistently treats me right, communicates clearly, and makes the entire process smooth every time. The dealership itself looks great after the recent renovation -- clean, modern, and much more welcoming. The service team worked efficiently, and everything was handled professionally. I mainly write food reviews, but Tracy Honda deserves the exception. Overall, I'd rate my experience at Tracy Honda a 5 out of 5 stars. read more

I had an amazing experience buying my 26 CRV Hybrid at Tracy Honda and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a smooth, stress-free process. I've been working with Corey McClendon in service for the past 6 years, and he's always been incredible, honest, knowledgeable, and truly looking out for my best interest. He's the one who recommended I consider getting a new car, and I'm so glad I trusted him. On the sales side, Anthony Rodarte and James Herren made everything incredibly easy. Anthony went above and beyond. He handled every detail, kept me informed, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. I never felt pressured, only respected. He was honest, thorough, and provided outstanding customer service. They didn't have the exact car I wanted in stock, and Anthony personally went out of his way to pick it up for me, which really shows his dedication. Todd Suender in finance was also fantastic! Super organized, thorough, and made sure I understood everything clearly. The entire process was smooth from start to finish. Overall, it was an accommodating and genuinely enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Tracy Honda, and especially Anthony, if you're looking for top-notch service. read more

Seamless. Quick. Was able to set it all up over email and text and then show up and close deal in less than 2 hours.

Had a wonderful experience at Honda today in the service department service was great easy to set up your services appointment online or by phone. I was able to get in real quick time day that worked for my schedule They are in the process of a huge remodel going on right now so please follow the signs to get to the service department the entrance is now in the back of the building they have a large seating area for you to wait for your vehicle if you choose to wait. They do offer a shuttle to drop off near by if you do need to leave. We left the car there for a complete maintenance service and tire replacements great deal right now on tires but 3 get 1 free which saved me money. We all like to save as much as we can so score for me We have met several of the Honda employees and have great service from everyone we have encountered but I do have a favorite service assistance I'm sure his title may be something else but anyway I do always ask for Dylan he is great professional always greets with a smile reminds me of my son so I feel very comfortable as a women to leave my car in his care. But really anyone you are working with is great. Thank you Honda for making me feel safe driving my Civic and thanks for having great professional staff especially Dylan. read more

I am so excited to share how easy Dominic was to work with. I check out a few before I got to Tracy. What a waste of time. From the very beginning I told Moe what I needed. Also stated numerous times that if they can't do it, it is fine. Just tell me that. Please don't waste either of our time. "No no, it's good. I got you. Took a little bit but we did it." "Please don't have me come down there if I can't drive away today" "You will drive out of here today" I was reassured. Ya right. Guess what? I'm still walking. It went from I was already approved for 5 cars to 1, and no down payment went to $500 then $1000. My $500 monthly payment turned into $850 or so, on a $18000 car... meaning I would be paying somewhere in the $40,000 range for a 2019 basic Accord! Anyhow, I'm def upset with the constant bullshit and lies, especially when I said to just keep it real. Don't know where I'll go from here, but hopefully they will at least keep it real. read more

what an amazing experience it was super easy we don't remember buying a car this fast and easy

I purchased my new Honda here about a month ago. I'm a new mom, who has very little time. I was able to work with the James from sales team before my arrival so that most of the details were taken care of upon my arrival, ensuring a fast and smooth purchase process upon arrival. Upon arrival Moe assisted us from start to finish, and he was so great and made the purchase very easy and speedy. There was one miscommunication upon arrival regarding pricing but the team quickly addressed the issue, so that we could move forward with completing the process. I was in and out very quickly, with the car I wanted at a great price! I will certainly be back to Tracy Honda and refer family and friends! read more

I wasn't going to leave a review here, even when my husband is urging me to, but now I feel I need to. We went in after making a reservation for a test drive for a car we saw on their website, which is what their website encourages. My husband and son got there and that particular car is there except they want $6,000 more than the advertised price because they say (whether it's true or not, I don't know) the car sat on the lot for a week with no interest so they decided to upgrade the seats to leather. They told us the cost to reupholster the car seats was a $900 job. Why charge $6,000 more? Then, I show up to co-sign. I was told they will check with TWO banks to qualify me, one being Ally. The other was a different bank I can't recall. I was OK with two inquiries because I'm trying to rebuild my credit after a Bankruptcy. After a few back-and-forth, we decided to leave. Now....fast forward about 2 weeks, I'm getting letters in the mail, 4 different banks now, for an auto loan. Had they told me they were going to check with Capital One, I would've told them they were included in some items I claimed in my BK and would not have extended any credit to me. We feel they tried to bait and switch with us on the car. Then they are running my credit multiple times with multiple banks. The "new" manager kept saying he's only been there a week. Not an excuse for not knowing the job or process, or if you have Honda Financing. We felt deceived. Why can't buying a car be a positive experience. Go to Carmax. The price is what you pay. No haggle. Be sure to negotiate the car price first and foremost. THEN divulge the monthly payment and down payment amounts you can afford. read more

I recently found a mileage error on my Carfax for a 2009 Honda Ridgeline. The error originated from Tracy Honda back in 2010 and showed that the odometer had been rolled back. This is obviously an issue for me if I ever want to sell my car. I called Tracy Honda and dealt with Carlos Vega. He explained that an error was probably made when a service tech entered the miles incorrectly and that the odometer was definitely not rolled back. I agreed with him and he then took the time to contact Carfax and have it corrected. It took about ten day to fix and Carlos kept me informed every step of the way. Very happy with the level of service from all of the staff here. read more

So we just purchased our second Honda from Honda Tracy. Since we had an easy experience going through the process the first time, we came back. The salesman Mo was extremely helpful through the whole process, this was my daughter's first car purchase so it was a little nerve wrecking for her. But Mo made her feel completely at ease with the process, explaining the process, rates, deals etc. Overall we walked away happy, got a decent deal, and are happy with our purchase. We have the other Honda civic that we get serviced regularly here and we've never had any issues, def recommend Tracy Honda. Thanks again Mo for making the experience easy for my daughter. read more

Amazing First-Time Car Buying Experience with Tony! As a first-time car buyer, I was incredibly nervous going into the process -- but Tony made everything feel easy and stress-free. His patience with me was something I truly appreciated. He took the time to answer all my questions without making me feel rushed or pressured, and he really made sure I understood every step. Tony was knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely cared about helping me find the right car, not just making a sale. I left feeling confident in my purchase and incredibly grateful for the support he gave me throughout the process. Came in on 12/27/23 to look over inventory available on new Honda's at Tracy Honda. Called ahead and made an appointment with Thomas DeAnda, and immediately was greeted a friendly face and very understanding to our budget and vehicle needs. After reviewing several Honda Accords, we finally settled on a '24 CRV Sport Touring Hybrid in Meteorite Grey Metallic. The entire staff at Tracy Honda were very understanding, patient and worked hard to give us the best possible deal. The gave us an excellent trade-in value on our Acura MDX and worked diligently with Honda Financial to make sure we walked away with the best deal. Hands down the best car buying experience I've had. I visited dealerships in Pittsburgh, Concord, and Walnut Creek, and all of them made it clear they were more focused on making money than actually helping me find the right car. Working with Thomas (Tom) was a completely different experience. He was honest, helpful, and genuinely cared about making sure I got what I needed, not just closing a deal. He never pressured me and treated me with respect every step of the way. If you're looking for a dealership that puts people first, this is it. Just visited Tracy Honda and the only reason I gave a 3-star, rather than a 1-star, is because they have a decent amount of new vehicles on their lot, including the popular Passport. I think they had nearly every color, except the Ash Green that I was looking for. I wasn't greeted by anyone in sales while I walked around the lot looking at the various models (they spread out the same model vehicles rather than parking them together, which is fine). It wasn't until I walked inside that I was greeted by Isaiah. After a validating question (Was I there for service or sales?), a brief name exchange, his next words out of his mouth were closing strategies. He completely missed sales 101 to establish some sort of rapport and to provide some kind of valuable service to take time to show me something about the vehicle I'm interested in. Starting off with untrue information from the get go is a poor strategy to build customer trust. He lost me once he tried a closing technique to sell me one of the colors on the lot, rather than take the time to find out that not only did I want Ash Green, I also wanted a specific interior color (also not on their lot), which I could go online and find it easily at another dealer. You can still sell a vehicle without having the specific color on the lot. Since he wouldn't offer to check on the incoming color, I asked if he could check when he will get the next ash green. As I wandered on my own, he returned asking me how I was paying, what am I trading in, and I need to lock it down and then they will find my color...not once did he show me anything useful about my vehicle, nor ask what I plan to use it for so he could provide some sort of benefits, or perhaps an even better option he could try, is help me feel like I would want to give them my business and why they would be the dealership I want to work with for future service of my new vehicle. I serviced my watercraft across the street. Think he assumed I would be out here again since I told him what city I lived in, a short drive away. He didn't even offer a test drive because I said I test drove it last year. He simply said, how did it drive. I said it drove like my Honda truck, just with a suspension geared more off-road. He strictly cut straight to closing on the spot. Never experienced such a poorly trained sales person, unless that's the style here. He focused on my trade, and asked if my truck was here, completely unaware that all his assumptions were wrong because he began closing hard on the spot, before even learning what I wanted or planned to do. He missed the part at the beginning of our conversation when he asked if I was there for service or sales, when he asked additional closing questions such as, Did I plan to finance? Do I have a trade? etc. Are you serious?...that's how you greet your customers. I told him I wasn't sure to all his questions because it's not in the buyers best interest to disclose this at the beginning. Never been so turned off during a shopping experience. I recommend they train their sales reps better. If they aren't genuine in helping customers, at least teach them how to pretend, because I don't think many customers want to be closed from the initial greeting, followed by hard closing literally while they inspect the vehicle to see if they truly like it. I told him I think we were done, so I walked back to get my drink where I left it on the table, and he followed me, still trying to close me. I had to tell him that we were done for a second time. If this is how you like to buy a car, this is your dealership. read more
