WARNING: DO NOT BUY HERE. I bought a new car (2024 honda prologue) last year. when I bought the car, it had some paint missing on the bumper, where the headlights are. I told the technician at Tracy Honda and they gave me a paint pen to touch it up. At ~7k miles, the paint got worse and started to chip away more. I contacted American Honda to get it fixed because the paint on the bumper was coming off and I could see the rubber seal of the headlights sticking out, they connected me with Walnut Creek Honda. When I got the car back from WC Honda, it came with the headlight still put on wrong. I mentioned it to the technician, that the headlight rubber was still visible and they told me that it was normal. I also mentioned to the technician that the back lights look like they are on wrong due to the empty space on one of the headlights, he said it was normal. A weeks later as I was washing my car I noticed that the light on the back of the driver side started to shake, but when I went in the daytime, it didn't shake. I went back to WC Honda and told them about the front & back headlight to the technician & he basically told me that it was not his problem. I called American Honda again, and they told me that I have to find a dealership that will accept the warranty and fix the car. Had a wonderful experience at Honda today in the service department service was great easy to set up your services appointment online or by phone. I was able to get in real quick time day that worked for my schedule They are in the process of a huge remodel going on right now so please follow the signs to get to the service department the entrance is now in the back of the building they have a large seating area for you to wait for your vehicle if you choose to wait. They do offer a shuttle to drop off near by if you do need to leave. We left the car there for a complete maintenance service and tire replacements great deal right now on tires but 3 get 1 free which saved me money. We all like to save as much as we can so score for me We have met several of the Honda employees and have great service from everyone we have encountered but I do have a favorite service assistance I'm sure his title may be something else but anyway I do always ask for Dylan he is great professional always greets with a smile reminds me of my son so I feel very comfortable as a women to leave my car in his care. I recently found a mileage error on my Carfax for a 2009 Honda Ridgeline. The error originated from Tracy Honda back in 2010 and showed that the odometer had been rolled back. This is obviously an issue for me if I ever want to sell my car. I called Tracy Honda and dealt with Carlos Vega. He explained that an error was probably made when a service tech entered the miles incorrectly and that the odometer was definitely not rolled back. I agreed with him and he then took the time to contact Carfax and have it corrected. It took about ten day to fix and Carlos kept me informed every step of the way. Just visited Tracy Honda and the only reason I gave a 3-star, rather than a 1-star, is because they have a decent amount of new vehicles on their lot, including the popular Passport. I think they had nearly every color, except the Ash Green that I was looking for. I wasn't greeted by anyone in sales while I walked around the lot looking at the various models (they spread out the same model vehicles rather than parking them together, which is fine). It wasn't until I walked inside that I was greeted by Isaiah. After a validating question (Was I there for service or sales?), a brief name exchange, his next words out of his mouth were closing strategies. He completely missed sales 101 to establish some sort of rapport and to provide some kind of valuable service to take time to show me something about the vehicle I'm interested in. Starting off with untrue information from the get go is a poor strategy to build customer trust. He lost me once he tried a closing technique to sell me one of the colors on the lot, rather than take the time to find out that not only did I want Ash Green, I also wanted a specific interior color (also not on their lot), which I could go online and find it easily at another dealer. You can still sell a vehicle without having the specific color on the lot. Since he wouldn't offer to check on the incoming color, I asked if he could check when he will get the next ash green. As I wandered on my own, he returned asking me how I was paying, what am I trading in, and I need to lock it down and then they will find my color...not once did he show me anything useful about my vehicle, nor ask what I plan to use it for so he could provide some sort of benefits, or perhaps an even better option he could try, is help me feel like I would want to give them my business and why they would be the dealership I want to work with for future service of my new vehicle. I serviced my watercraft across the street. Think he assumed I would be out here again since I told him what city I lived in, a short drive away. He didn't even offer a test drive because I said I test drove it last year. He simply said, how did it drive. I said it drove like my Honda truck, just with a suspension geared more off-road. He strictly cut straight to closing on the spot. Never experienced such a poorly trained sales person, unless that's the style here. He focused on my trade, and asked if my truck was here, completely unaware that all his assumptions were wrong because he began closing hard on the spot, before even learning what I wanted or planned to do. He missed the part at the beginning of our conversation when he asked if I was there for service or sales, when he asked additional closing questions such as, Did I plan to finance? Do I have a trade? etc. Are you serious?...that's how you greet your customers. I told him I wasn't sure to all his questions because it's not in the buyers best interest to disclose this at the beginning. Never been so turned off during a shopping experience. I recommend they train their sales reps better. If they aren't genuine in helping customers, at least teach them how to pretend, because I don't think many customers want to be closed from the initial greeting, followed by hard closing literally while they inspect the vehicle to see if they truly like it. I told him I think we were done, so I walked back to get my drink where I left it on the table, and he followed me, still trying to close me. I had to tell him that we were done for a second time. If this is how you like to buy a car, this is your dealership. read more

Highly recommend that you avoid this dealership. Purchased car from them back in August 2025 and they never finalized the transfer of the registration. Registration is coming due and when I attempted to pay got an error online at DMV so I reached out to DMV they advised that it was still pending. Called Tracy Honda they said they would look into it and when I didn't hear back went into DMV wasted 2 hours of my life to be told that the dealership has to fix the issue and finalize the transfer. Then when I called and spoke with their Sales Manager was told they did nothing wrong. Even not calling me back was not wrong. That alone is insane. They don't care. Take your business elsewhere. Maybe when they learn to appreciate customers. Sadly it will be the sales people that suffer for the lack of service from the other areas. It was a good experience while I was there everyone was kind and helpful. But once I got home, it became a different story. The dealership wasn't transparent about the optional charges. I even went with my dad and he was also confused because he also does not recall hearing anything of optional charges. I ended up canceling some and wish to cancel more, it's been really stressful since then. Honestly, this has turned into a very negative experience. I wish I had taken my business elsewhere. I was told to reach out if I had any questions or concerns, but when I did, the responses felt rude.
