Extremely disappointed with the unprofessionalism of the service staff. I scheduled my car service a week in advance, yet when I arrived today (Tuesday), I was told there were no qualified technicians available to perform the work. The service representative mentioned they were "calling customers to reschedule," but I never received a call--and frankly, I doubt any genuine attempt was made to notify me. To make matters worse, I was told I could leave my car there just in case they could get to it by the end of the week. Seriously? Unless you're getting a deal of a lifetime, don't go here. Certainly, don't purchase a used car of a different brand here. It was important to me to buy a car from a name brand car lot but I'm disappointed. First, their phone service is all around poor. No one to answer just to find out if the car was still available. Calls didn't even go to voicemail, just straight to hang up. I was finally able to make an appointment to come see the car. Maybe this is a new way of selling cars but - ok. I do have to say that Jose is a very nice salesman and is good at this job but didn't really have knowledge of this car because it is not a Chevrolet. I didn't like that he ran a credit check, even though I was not getting a loan. He assured me that it wouldn't show up on my credit - but it sure did notify me right away that it had been done. Everyone I mentioned this to said that I should not have allowed this. When I finished the paperwork with Jose, I was sent to a waiting area to wait to pay. After waiting and hour and a half just to pay, I should have walked away right then and there. I had studied the car on You Tube and so I knew a lot of the features. It's also totally my fault that I didn't check for the owner's manual which was not with the car. I guess I trusted that a brand name car lot would do a full inspection as Jose verbally indicated to my son that had been done. If so, it should have been discovered that the front license plate was loose in the car and not secured on the front of the car - fortunately, I caught that and they agreed to order the bracket and install it. After many phone calls and almost one month later, I returned and they put it on. Also, the driver side sun visor has a serious defect which makes it very difficult to move up and down. Because it was a cloudy day, I had no reason to test this out. This unfortunately is a very common Honda defect and very expensive to have replaced. It was a cloudy day and I'm very disappointed in myself for not noticing the cigarette burns in the car. That would have been a deal braker. I can't believe I didn't see them and I'm still discovering more. I can't believe a quality lot would accept this car and put it for sale. A couple of things could have been fixed by the service department very easily. Even though I have spent quite a bit of money trying to make it right, I would hand it over in a minute if I could get my money back. This was intended to be my last ever vehicle. I don't hate the car, I just hate that I made a mistake. read more

This review is for Dominic sales guy. I called the dealership and he said he would buy buy c8 with 6000 miles. I get there and he tells me my 6 month old tires need to be replaced. He said c8 corvette tires need to be replaced every 3000 miles. And that will lower the price of the car. Total waste of time. I call another dealership and sold the car in 5 min with no bs. I get they are in sales. But dont sell me snake oil. I am really upset. He also said i am not going to give you a offer because its too low. Soo i just drove to the Chevrolet dealership for nothing? This entire situation with the Tracy Chevrolet service department has been an absolute nightmare. The person that was handling the management of the service Todd neglected our phone calls. The first time we dropped off our vehicle on a Tuesday and that was to have our door fixed. It needed a part. which you did not have in stock, and it had to be ordered. Our truck was sitting in the parking lot for four days before they even touched it. I called to find the status on the door and they hadn't even touched it. Also need a fuel injectors changed. After bringing the truck home for probably about a week the fuel injectors failed Again. We took the truck back to Tracy Chevrolet to fix the fuel injectors one more time under warranty. Then they called and said I needed a new head gasket. I couldn't believe it. How could they have not seen that the first time. So I ended up paying another $1700 for the head gasket to be replaced also. at this point they're already paid approximately $5100. And I also had to rent another car for three days while waiting them to perform their work. Total Rent-A-Car charges for the amount of time that they worked on. My truck was almost $800. I also told Matt at the front desk that I heard a gurgling noise. When I tap the brakes he told me he would look into it. And when I picked my truck up, he told me it was probably air in my radiator system that would flush itself out over time. My wife and I were coming home from a trip to Pleasanton and my brakes failed on the Altamonte Pass almost causing a total accident for me and my wife. I went to another mechanic and he told me it was my compressor that was full of brake fluid. I can't even imagine how they missed that at Tracy Chevrolet. My wife and I could've been killed.. The only thing I want to add is that we feel totally ripped off, and I can't even make an excuse for it because of excellent customer service because it was the worst customer service I've ever experienced and that is saying a lot. We have a new mechanic fixing my fuel injectors again for another $1200 this time we actually avoided coming to you because of such horrible service we received. I hope that this complaint has some form of resolution. Whatever happened to customer service. I could never treat a customer as rude as we were treated by Todd. Initially when we started the whole process asking for the door to be fixed, he said I don't got time for that. WOW!! I sure hope this gets to the right place in the right people. I'm sure they'll do absolutely nothing about this complaint but I want it documented on the Better Business Bureau and yelp. read more

I had researched the vehicle I wanted so when we arrived Walid got us right to the vehicle for a test drive. It was nice being able to drive the vehicle ourselves without a salesperson in the car and made the test drive all the more enjoyable. When it got down to business, Walid was professional and quick and had our paperwork and documentation completed relatively quickly. We happen to get the car when the service center was closed, so Walid spent the rest of the time detailing the car for us and helping us get set up. Buying a car is never a fun experience but it was relatively painless and compared to what the other dealerships were charging in markup this was great and painless. He had no issues with us checking back on numbers and definitely made me a repeat customer if I ever choose to buy a car from Chevrolet again. Excellent service by the service representative Shelley. So I took my vehicle in there since I happened to be in Tracy for an event my daughter was having and since I had brought it in about 5 months ago, and everything went relatively smoothly on a keyfob replacement. So the onboard computer had notified me a couple of weeks ago that it needed to go in for servicing relative to an oil change, oil filter and lube. When I got there that morning, they informed me that it would be $99.99 and that it would include tire rotation, oil filter, and oil replacement and lubrication. Shortly after I left I realized that I did not leave the wheel lock and so 15 minutes after I left the vehicle there I emailed the service representative that they did not have the wheel lock. I was assured there was no problem and that they had a way to circumvent that. So I picked up the vehicle a couple of hours later I noticed immediately that the front tire on the driver's side door was at 39 pounds. The front tire on the passenger side was at 38 pounds. The rear tire on the driver's side door was at 39 pounds and the rear tire on the passenger side was at 37. I'm driving it for a day when I suddenly realized that the rear tire on the passenger side is lower and the reason for that is that the slow leak started 2 months ago. They are brand new top of the line Good year, tires. So they topped it off way past the manufacturers.Thirty two pounds recommended inflation. So I realized at that point they never rotated the tires because that rear passenger tire is exactly where it was when I took the vehicle in for servicing. It's highly unethical to quote me a $99.99 price for this type of servicing which included tire rotation. So I was cheated. Hoping to speak with the general manager. It should also be noted that putting that much air in the tires makes it dangerous to get on the freeway.Because now they are rock hard and any little thing on the roadway can easily puncture one of those tires , if not all four of those tires , if the roadway has substantial debrisIt should also be noted that putting that much air in the tires makes it dangerous to get on the freeway. Don't recommend anyone to come here. Purchased a vehicle about 2-3 weeks ago. Only to get harassed by them by texts and calls. After initial purchase was told needed more info about income that we provided at day of purchase. Then when we called back was told "never mind we sorted the income issue out but can you come down because we have a better deal" After being told by salesman Kevin that more down payment would only change monthly by $5-10. We go back to see what the promotion is and we're told to pay another $2k to save $200 more monthly. We agreed 3 weeks first $1k and another $1k 3 weeks later. But now we're getting harassed by texts and calls saying they need holding checks with different dates than we were originally told. At this point I'm close to returning vehicle entirely and take my business and money else where. Christina and Kevin are scammers and avoid them at all costs. Just go to another Chevrolet Dealer. I initially contacted Tracy Chevrolet on August 9 regarding a car that I wanted to look at I spoke with Kevin, who told me that they would be closing soon but that he could have me at least look at it. Then he calls me back and let's me know that it's actually not on the lot that Honda has it because they are replacing the camera. It should be back next week. That was fine so then I call on August 13 from Andrew and I'm told that the camera is being replaced and that they'll have it soon possibly within the next day. OK great so then on August 14, I get a call to come test drive it and we have a scheduled appointment that afternoon. I end up calling to cancel and rebook because I got called into a meeting and so I was rescheduled to come Thursday, August 15 at 10 AM. I even had the appointment text confirmations, then Poonam calls me not even 10 minutes later to let me know that they actually need to do a safety inspection to make sure it's ok to drive, but yet I was initially supposed to come the day before. Make it make sense. She tells me I can come look at, but not drive it. She proceeds to text that more work that needs to be done on the on the van and they're going have to order parts, they should arrive early next week of 8/19. If I'm going to buy a car, I'm going to test drive it, like be forreal. Today is Thursday, August 22, I called and I spoke with Poonam and I said I wanted to check in on the status update. I haven't heard anything and I just wanted to see what's going on she then proceeded to tell me that "someone came in over the weekend, didn't test drive it, bought the car as is with the cashiers check and so the car is sold," yet it's still posted all over the website. I think it's super unprofessional that you have someone interested in a car and willing to buy, but constant loops are given. She mentioned being out due to a family matter, which it happens so understandable, and that someone should've reached out to me, but didn't. I went to Tracy Chevrolet as it is close to Livermore and according to the reviews way better to deal with in-service than Dublin Chevrolet. I have a 2SS 1LE Camaro. This is a very desirable and very rare car.GM has decided to discontinue the Camaro line and the top-of-the-line high-performance cars are no longer available. This car is not my daily driver and definitely something I keep very nice and take very good care of. I was nervous trying to find a dealership that could honor the changing of my break-in oil and obviously care for the car the way I have. Fast-forward to appointment day and I went into the Tracy Chevrolet service department only to find out that they did not have my appointment in the system. Through no-fault of the dealership I found out that the appointment was not made with Tracy, but another dealership by mistake. I met with Martin in the service department and he told me that they could accommodate my request but without an appointment the time might be more than I expected. I was much more interested in how they would care for this car than the time so I asked him if he could accommodate my request . He pleasantly agreed and started the paperwork for my first oil change, tire rotation, and multi point safety check. He suggested we go to lunch or find something to do for a few hours so that we did. I appreciated everything he did even though they were busy short on techs and as you remember, did not have an appointment. I came back to the dealership after about two hours and imagine my surprise when he went and checked on the car and it was finished. We did the paperwork. I asked several questions and he directed me to where my car was parked.Thanks to service advisor Martin. As I approached the car paperwork in hand, I was stopped by Ryan apparently the tech who worked on my car. He asked "excuse me is this your car?" I replied, and he proceeded to tell me what a fantastic car it was and that he was very impressed at how clean and well taken care of my Camaro was. He assured me that he took very good care of the car and showed the respect he felt it was due based on the condition he received it in and told me it was a pleasure to work on it. Once again, my questions were answered, and we left Tracy Chevrolet, feeling very good about our dealings with Martin and Ryan specifically. I know it was a simple oil change, but it's not a simple car and very important to us.
