I kept in contact & several years later, I used @L&W motors to paint my buick Verano , ( for cosmetic reasons) Luis & His family are very genuine & humble Folks. Through Luis, I met his brother Will. My 2013 Buick Verano had paint that was Faded, from the Sun on the roof Top! Luis & Will, did not go through my Insurance & gave me a really Good Deal. I was not having the faded top) They always responded & I Recieved my car back in a timely manner! They have really good work ethic, & they did a really Great Job painting the car and most importantly they were fair with the pricing & even shinned the headlights. I attempted to purchase a 2011 Jeep Wrangler from L&W Motors. I was working with Will. Since we were coming from out of state and upon Will's recommendation we went to our local credit union and were prequalified for the auto loan. After receiving our pre qualification letter I reached out to Will and he agreed to hold the vehicle (less than 24hours) so we could travel from out of state to finalize the purchase. I received a text message from Will asking us to finalize our loan before arriving. I explained that in order to finalized the loan I needed to submit a signed purchase agreement, proof of title and inspection photos. All of which I would be able to submit once I arrived at the dealership. I also expressed my discomfort in finalizing the loan without having seen or test drove the vehicle. The next message I received from Will informed me that he was in the process of selling the vehicle he had agreed to hold for us and not to come. I immediately attempted to call Will as well as text him. No calls were answered or texts returned. While the business is well within its right to sell their inventory my partner and I went to great lengths to ensure we were well qualified and able to purchase this vehicle prior to our arrival. Seemed like a trustworthy guy - - but beware ! ! I feel a moral obligation to warn anyone buying from this guy, who told me I "would not be disappointed in this car". DEFINiTELY take the car to be checked by YOUR mechanic before buying from him, because he does not tell all . His fault is omission of fact. Jan 4 2018 I bought what looked from the exterior like a VERY well maintained car. Just 13 days after driving the car home, the alternator died. I had car towed to my mechanic and asked him to check the whole car out . Was shocked to realize all the immediate, required work that needed to be done. NOTE - I'm not talking about normal "elective maintenance" (which also needed to be done - - such as being told by L&W that the "brakes had all been worked on" - only to find they had F40%, R60% remaining.) IMMEDIATE REQUIRED REPAIRS to make this car SAFE to drive was as follows : 1) Alternator replaced 2) Rack & Pinion replaced (my mechanic said it was obviously worn and leaking) 3) Control Arms had cracks & worn bushings - front & lower arms needed to be replaced . 4) Struts were worn out & needed to be replaced. This TOTALED $3,077 (& I got a good deal on alternator) *** My problem with this, is that L&W mechanics would have seen all of these obvious, unsafe issues & he should have been up front with me about them - - or even about some of them. I should mention that i live in San Mateo county on the coast, so a drive to Tracy is at least 2 hrs. As a single working mother (during the week), I had to make this car safe in order to drive it - i have no other vehicle to depend on. I drove all the way back to Tracy on Friday Feb 2 to discuss how we could work together to resolve this unfair situation, and he offered me a few hundred dollars - which feeling insulted - I did not take. I arrived home after this meeting only to find that there is now something wrong with the coolant, as it was dry after exploding all over the engine. I nervously wonder with dread, what the next problem & expense will be this week, with this car. I am insulted, and extremely disappointed with L&W Motors and their unwillingness to help me out with what has proven to be a car in significant disrepair. read more

Absolutely amazing. Bought a 2013 Dodge Charger from them. Will was 100% honest with me, no BS. Not trying to overly sell me a char which I really like. The absolute best thing that I appreciate was they helped me out in a unfortunate situation. I live in San Jose, I went up to Tracy to view the car on a Saturday. While finalizing documents with the bank for a loan, the office closed for the day and would not be open until Monday. L&W Motors TRUSTED me to take the car before I could give them the check for full amount. I put $1000 and my previous car as a down payment, and proof of loan approval. They let me take the car that day with the promise of finalizing the paperwork and depositing the check back home the following Monday.
