    Text I sent to number listed in their ads to text to. No response.

    This dealer has multiple listings on Craigslist for a 2004 Ford Escort XLT for sale. I used the "reply" link on Craigslist and sent a message there expressing interest and asking a couple questions. No response. Read their ad again and saw the number they say to text to, so sent the same message to that number...no response again. So I went to their website and filled out their online form and got a confirmation that it was sent. Again, 2 days later and still no response. One of the questions I asked was if they could send me some better pictures, as all of the ones in the posting and on their website are all very grainy and hard to see any real detail of condition of car. I guess all the below poor reviews about poor customer service are true if they can't even engage when someone is trying to buy one of their cars.

    This was my first car, and I had submitted an application for a car a few days before I went to the actual business. But when I got there, I got to test drive the vehicle and right after I signed the paperwork, and headed home. This was about a week ago, and absolutely no problems so far. I know everyone has a different experience, but for me it was amazing.

    This review was back in 2014 but I left it in the wrong business now updating it to keep anyone from this ripoff place...... This is the worst place to buy cars... i saw a 2002 dodge ram for $5,999 and i apply for a $3,000 loan because i was going to give $4,000 cash so i called that place i set up an appointment because i had to drive 2hr from where i live so everything was ok untill i got there they change the price to $6,999 i ask why they said we made a mistake i was like ok its alright then i check the dodge one door was damage inside dash board was 80% damage needed an alignment a clicking sound in the steering wheel so i tryed to make a deal with them and they said i can only give you $200 off i was like not worth it so i check the car fax and the dodge was in a collision i didnt say anything then i check the paper work that they send to the bank and they put the same price $5,999 so they were selling it to me for $6,999 i ask for an explanation they said it was a mistake so they made the same mistake 2 times i said you guys are lying they got mad and kicked me out!!! So be careful stay away from this place!!

    They are good people to do business with, when it comes to buying cars, new or used, I will definitely suggest them. Everyone was professional throughout, very honest, no extra charges, No hassling, you don't have to wait all day at the dealership, they will get your loan approved in timely manner, so many choice of cars in their inventory.

I pushed the button through True Car to get some quotes and Justin's email came at the right time & the right price with a kind demeanor. He even helped me with my purchasing options on a Sunday! An hour and a half drive later and I am so glad I went out to Manteca to purchase my new vehicle (her name is Tika in honor of her home dealership). What I loved: 1) Communication: I suffer from analysis paralysis and I got this deal done the same day we started emailing. That was the fastest I have made a decision in a while! 2) Process: From test drive to purchase, fastest car deal I have ever been witness to or a part of- thank you! 3) Customer Service: even though the deal was completed after closing and even though I asked a lot of questions, Justin D took the time to answer them and show me every single feature of my new car. It was impressive. He even hand washed my car because the car wash was closed. That really wasn't necessary because it was cold outside but is a testament to how awesome he is. 4) Follow-up: checking in on me through surveys and phone calls/ text messages is really nice.     BUYER beware!!! This review is based entirely on my documented experience…read more I trusted Phil Waterford's Manteca Ford with my Ford Transit, a commercial vehicle my business depends on. That decision led to over a year of breakdowns, unsafe situations, and thousands of dollars in losses. The original issue was engine overheating only while towing. Instead of identifying and fixing the root cause, the dealership replaced a transmission 2x's and two engines while repeatedly assuring me the problem was resolved. After the first engine replacement, I picked up the van and noticed it had only 8 miles to empty on the fuel gauge after they had test driven it. The vehicle was returned to me without being fueled, which I found completely irresponsible. I barely made it to a gas station before running out of fuel, which is not how any customer should receive a vehicle after a major repair. Within minutes of leaving the dealership, the van shut down on the freeway. Rather than towing it, I was instructed to drive it back in limp mode. I was later charged for additional repairs that followed immediately after their engine install. The vehicle continued to experience severe power loss, overheating, and major fluid leaks. Eventually, after two engines and two transmissions, the dealership replaced the radiator -- and for the first time, the towing-related overheating stopped. This confirmed the cooling system was the issue all along. Later, the vehicle broke down out of state and was taken to another Ford dealership. That dealership documented installation-related issues and also identified exhaust/EGR components that were old, soot-covered, and reinstalled during both engine replacements at Manteca Ford, rather than being replaced. These are parts that reasonably should have been replaced during an engine replacement, especially after two separate installs. Manteca Ford has refused to reimburse me for these repair costs and other related expenses and has stopped responding to emails and messages entirely. I now have an active case open with Ford Motor Company / Ford Pro and am providing full documentation for corporate review. If you are a business owner or rely on your vehicle for towing or work, I strongly recommend servicing your vehicle elsewhere.
