I gave them another shot since my first pick-up experience was honestly seamless and I'm glad that I did. Paul came through to rectify the mix-up which I really appreciate. I'm a firm believer in loyalty and taking care of your customers so not only do they return, but they are willing to spread the word and bring new business where deserved. I'm extremely disappointed with how this dealership treated my 80-year-old father. My parents worked with salesman Eric Jolly regarding my father's 2023 Nissan Frontier. They were originally offered approximately $37,000 for the trade-in, while the new 2026 Ford Lariat they were considering was priced at around $43,000. After my parents contacted me, I researched comparable vehicles and found the same model year advertised at other dealerships for approximately $36,000-$37,000. Because I help care for my parents and look out for their best interests, I called the dealership and simply asked whether they could match the pricing available elsewhere. I was transferred to a finance manager who told me Eric was off that day and that he could not disclose much information to me. I understood that, but I still expected Eric or a manager to return my call and explain their position. Eric never called me back. I then asked whether my father could sell his Frontier directly to the dealership without purchasing another vehicle. I was told that should not be a problem. My parents drove there, explained that they only wanted to sell the truck, and were again told it would be fine. They returned home to get the title, but when they came back, the dealership suddenly changed its position and refused to purchase the truck. They referenced my earlier call about price matching and said the original offer would only be honored as part of the trade-in deal. That is extremely poor customer service. If the $37,000 offer was conditional upon purchasing their vehicle, that should have been explained clearly from the beginning. Instead, my elderly parents were told the dealership would purchase their truck, sent home to retrieve the title, and then turned away when they returned. I previously worked in car sales, so I understand how dealerships operate. A simple, honest phone call from Eric or a manager could have prevented this entire situation. Instead, the communication was unclear, the terms changed, and my parents' time was wasted. We will be selling the Frontier elsewhere and purchasing a comparable vehicle from another dealership for approximately $6,000 less. This dealership didn't just lose a sale--it lost our trust completely. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this dealership. Please research pricing carefully, get every offer and condition in writing, and consider shopping elsewhere--especially if you are helping an elderly family member. read more

I brought my vehicle to Manteca Ford Quick Lane and had a very disappointing experience with communication and follow-through. When I picked up my vehicle, it was late in the day, and the Quick Lane employee who gave me my keys said she would send me the part number and information I requested the next business day. I understood it had been a long day, so I said no problem. The next business day came and went with no follow-up. I called again and spoke with the same person, and I was again told I would receive the follow-up regarding the part and cost information related to what my vehicle needed. Once again, days went by with no email, call, or update. It ended up taking me physically driving back in about a week and a half to two weeks later just to get the part number. What made it even more frustrating was that the information appeared to already be written down and sitting near this employee's computer. As a customer, that was very disappointing because I had already followed up more than once and still did not receive the information I was told I would get. On top of that, I also tried scheduling a valet pickup/drop-off service for a recall inspection through Quick Lane. I was told they would come pick up my vehicle, but the scheduled day I was told on the phone came and went with no pickup and no call. When I called on Saturday, I was told they were closed, even though I had previously been told they would be open for servicing. I have never had a bad experience here when purchasing vehicles, which is why this Quick Lane experience was so disheartening. I expected better communication and follow-through from a dealership I have trusted in the past. As someone who works night shift in healthcare and has a busy schedule, it is a major inconvenience to have to keep chasing basic updates that should have been handled correctly the first time. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend considering another service option for Quick Lane type work unless it is something that specifically needs to be handled by the dealership, such as a recall or dealership-specific inspection. I hope management addresses these communication and follow-up issues. read more

BUYER beware!!! This review is based entirely on my documented experience. I trusted Phil Waterford's Manteca Ford with my Ford Transit, a commercial vehicle my business depends on. That decision led to over a year of breakdowns, unsafe situations, and thousands of dollars in losses. The original issue was engine overheating only while towing. Instead of identifying and fixing the root cause, the dealership replaced a transmission 2x's and two engines while repeatedly assuring me the problem was resolved. After the first engine replacement, I picked up the van and noticed it had only 8 miles to empty on the fuel gauge after they had test driven it. The vehicle was returned to me without being fueled, which I found completely irresponsible. I barely made it to a gas station before running out of fuel, which is not how any customer should receive a vehicle after a major repair. Within minutes of leaving the dealership, the van shut down on the freeway. Rather than towing it, I was instructed to drive it back in limp mode. I was later charged for additional repairs that followed immediately after their engine install. The vehicle continued to experience severe power loss, overheating, and major fluid leaks. Eventually, after two engines and two transmissions, the dealership replaced the radiator -- and for the first time, the towing-related overheating stopped. This confirmed the cooling system was the issue all along. Later, the vehicle broke down out of state and was taken to another Ford dealership. That dealership documented installation-related issues and also identified exhaust/EGR components that were old, soot-covered, and reinstalled during both engine replacements at Manteca Ford, rather than being replaced. These are parts that reasonably should have been replaced during an engine replacement, especially after two separate installs. Manteca Ford has refused to reimburse me for these repair costs and other related expenses and has stopped responding to emails and messages entirely. I now have an active case open with Ford Motor Company / Ford Pro and am providing full documentation for corporate review. If you are a business owner or rely on your vehicle for towing or work, I strongly recommend servicing your vehicle elsewhere. read more

This place was a mistake from day one. The final straw is the fact they sold me a used car without a seat belt, which is AGAINST the LAW in California and they REFUSE to order and install said seatbelt. Mind you, this was a used car purchase for a teenager. Especially considering I have messaged them about this multiple times, and they've officially ghosted me. In fact they (ERIC) sent me a link to a general parts store to not only find the seatbelt myself, but apparently to buy and install it myself as well. The finance guy is a whole different issue. He was staring at his watch complaining the paperwork was taking too long. Completely rude and disrespectful. We drove over two hours after work, to which they agreed to meet with us late, then the finance guy treated like we were the biggest inconvenience. What a joke. Lastly, the engine light is already on less than two months after purchasing. Do NOT purchase from this place. I decided against buying a used vehicle off marketplace because I wanted to purchase from a trusted dealership. This was NOT IT. read more

Tried to purchase a vehicle that they have been advertising for awhile and apparently it's not for sale. The salesman told me the owner decided to keep the vehicle for himself which makes you wonder why would it be advertised then. I guess he wants to keep the good cars for himself. And then I'm told they have another similar one that would be in soon. Refusing to sell a car when you're a dealer is one thing but to pull a bait and switch is unprofessional. I can tell the salesman was embarrassed about the situation for having to explain the owners behavior and I don't blame him. I felt so bad they closed at 7 on Sunday but they made me feel welcome and didn't rush me. Bill and Eric were super helpful and took care of me.
