I came out to this shop because the tire shop across the street had told me they do not have any used tires in my tire size and recommended to try the shop across the street (Mr. Ed's Tire). I let the guy know which size I was looking for and after a a few minutes one of the other workers came out with a couple of tires. They were not the same brand and I asked if it was possible to see if they had matching brand tires in the back and the guy went and checked. Luckily they did and they proceeded to get the tires swapped out. Unfortunately one of the tire had an issue and the guy brought out a tire that was the same brand but a different model of tire. I contemplated just putting the old tires back on and leaving and asked if I was able to just replace one tire and put one of the old ones back on so we went to check and see which ones were the better of the two. He said none of them are good and I was just getting disappointed as the time I spent waiting was just going to be for nothing.Luckily, again, one of the guys came from the back with the same brand, same model tire to replace the bad one. I was relieved and thankful that they were able to replace my two front tires with used decent tread tires for the time being. The price was worth it and their service was quick. The customer service was great and they didn't have to go back and check again for a same branded same model tire but they did.

I brought my Acadia in for a/c issue and water pump and picked up and after 2 weeks had…read moreto bring it back because of grinding noise, stabilitrak light on, and horrible nauseating smell and was told mechanic didnt properly torque some bolts. Then told there was a bulletin on engine and they were to install a shim inside the engine, after 2 weeks picked up car and after literally 2 miles horrible grinding noise came from engine and every warning light went off. After I brought it back and started asking questions about the quality of work done the attitude of customer service rep. Nelson Lara started changing and he turned and started trying to pin the problems with the car on me and claimed me and my wife never changed the oil filter EVER! and that car engine was filled with gunk and when I asked how come that was never brought up after the last time I picked it up he claimed they were "protecting" me by not saying anything to me or documenting it so my warranty would'nt be voided. I told him I had all my maintenance paperwork and could provide it if needed and he claimed he did'nt need them. Then they tried to fix whatever it was they screwed up on my engine but could'nt find the issue and had my car for over 2 months and every week had a diffrent excuse of what the problem was but would not admit they screwed up when they opened my engine the first time. I tried to be calm about about the situation but after the last call telling me that the 5th repair they tried did'nt work and that they were waiting to see what GM wanted to do about it and started saying that if GM sent an engineer to inspect the engine I would be responsible to prove that I took care of the car maintenance I finally snapped and left service mang. Mike Patton a voice maice stating if my car was'nt repaired properly I was going to report them to the Ca. bureau of auto repair. I recieved a call from Mike 2 days later at 7 am and he started threating me by saying if I reported them he would cancel my rental and make me responsible for 2 months of rental charges and report back to my warranty that the problems with my car were because of maintenance negligence! My wife went in and hand delivered the maintenance printouts and after he saw we in fact had every maintenance reciept he tried to then put blame to the oil change place we took it too claiming that maybe something they were doing was screwing up my engine and finally agreed to swap out my motor. I picked up my car a week later with the new engine and 3 days later had a lot of fluid dripping onto my drive way and that nauseating smell was stronger than before (they claim it is mold and they put a spray to clean it) and the engine is making noises that dont sound right. I took it to Chase Chevrolet in Stockton and was told the smell is definetly not mold but in fact a chemical fluid leaking from somewhere and found my power steering reservoir was loose and a number of hoses werent clamped properly and that when Manteca installed the motor they did a rush job. I recieved the car back and a/c is not working again and when I called Manteca so they could fix the issue under their labor warranty they refused to take the car in and honor the warranty!!! I took the car back to Chase Chevrolet and they assured me they would go through out the car and repair each and every issue that I had and look over the job that Manteca did to make sure there are no other problems when my car is returned and after 1 day already have located the cause of the chemical smell that after 3 months Manteca could'nt find and tried to pass off as "mold". Manteca's service dept. is made up of a bunch of idiots who don't know what they are doing and are being represented by a liar (Nelson) and lead by a real a-hole (Mike). If you need service I recommend you go to Chase Chevrolet or anywhere else, I brought my car in for just an a/c repair and never had any other problems with my vehicle and since it was under their care my car seems to have one issue after another as soon as I got it back.

I had gone to another business to get some work done on my car and was given an estimate of about $1800 for all the repairs that my car supposedly needed. Joe took a look at it and charged me $230 for most of the recommendations and said the rest was nonsense. I had the car back in a day and a month later, it is running great. I will be back here for all my repair needs. The only downside, the location is not great. You need to call Joe for directions because his garage is in the boonies and I think its behind his house, kind of reminds me of what life must have been like in the 50's. But trust me, he is an honest mechanic, which if you're like me, you know is very hard to find.
