Despite the inflation, food was still great. I do not regret coming here everytime. Kimchi Fried Rice ($9.95) was big. It had so much flavours in it. Like usual, my food came with free soup, pickles and tap water (utencils too, of course) I bet the staff is super organized she never missed a thing. Deep fried squid ($4.95) was fresh. Crispy and tender. I finished all of it. Kimchi Fried rice was too big for me though. I love this place, it's so much better than H mart food court. I don't live this neighbourhood, but will come down whenever I can.

Tokki Have you tried this Korean food stalk @tokkicanada inside the Henderson Mall? They have varieties Korean food and snack. Once you had ordered, they gave me a pickup beeper and then they made the corn dog from scratch. When the corn dog was ready for pickup, the beeper will beep. I ordered the Monster's Bat corn dog which had a sausage inside and battered with the deep-fried potato bits outside. I just put out ketchup and honey mustard on it. It's pretty good with the crispy potato fries bits at this price. Nice food at Henderson Place shopping mall at Coquitlam. Friendly service and very affordable prices . Korean and Japanese food .

The fried squid tasted stale. The squid was detached from the batter. It was horrible; we threw them away.

I love their Korean style corn dogs! It's odd that despite how hyped up of an item they are, very few people seem to know you can find it in Henderson :) another little Coquitlam gem. I tried the original, monster bat, and cheesy corn dogs and they were all quite delicious. The monster bat was the best because it was covered in little potato pieces but I also really like the mix in the cheesy one. The original was good as well, but was just a regular corn dog. The size is decent and the overall experience was nice. They also have little containers for their sauces now for to-go orders.

Korean corn dogs! Have been looking forward to trying these for a while now. Tucked away in Henderson Mall in Coquitlam you can find this cute Korean snack shop. They're known for their corndogs but they have an assortment of other food items too. I got the Cheesy Monster Bat which was affordable and tasty. My only gripe was that it was half cheese and half hotdog, which threw me off at first biting into it from the top as I only tasted potato and cheese at the top, and then just potato and hotdog at the bottom. Overall I'd go back and try more.

Tokki will forever be in my heart the OG spot that started offering Korean cheese dogs. This has become such a trend in recent years and we have mukbangs online and Tokki to thank! They also offer lots of other Korean street food options here too which really bring back nostalgia for me. It's the next best thing to going to Korea especially since we cannot travel right now. Do not underestimate their corn dogs though, the portions are quite filling and keep me full for hours

I stumbled upon this small eatery and was driven to buy something all because of the owner's warm smile. (ikr like seriously?!) but I'm glad I did. Her smile is warm and the toppoki is yummy. And at 5.95 dollars too. What's not to like? I'm surprised it's not on Yelp as the place has been opened for about a year now. But no matter. It's in now ;)

If you have not tried Korean street food, this is a great option to stop by. This food court stall brought back memories of my trip to South Korean a number of years ago. We ordered kimbap, corn dog (monster's bat) and tteokbokki. All tasted pretty decent. The kimbap was made well. The corn dog was unique because not many places offer Korean style corn dogs in the lower mainland. It was a hot dog covered in a potato batter and included a choice of dipping sauce. The tteokbokki had a decent spicy kick. It was a mix of rice cake and fish cake. The prices were reasonable too. Service was fast.

Prior to coming here I had never eaten a regular corn dog. I got the cheese dog and I enjoyed every part of it. They use a sweetish corn bread and enough cheese for a satisfying cheese pull. The kimbap is good too but a little oily. Prices are great too. I wish there were more food court places in Vancouver with food like tokki or more tokki locations. I would come here again for more menu items even though this place is so out of the way.

Monster's Bat () Pan Fried Toppoki () Well I was still hungry after my Poké so I decided to get a quick snack and my friend recommended this place. She got a Monster's Bat which is basically a corn dog covered in little pieces of potato, if you look at the korean name it pre much explains the food better than in English cuz it translates exactly to potato dog? IM NOT KOREAN IDK BUT WITH MY LIMITED KOREAN KNOWLEDGE YAH?! Cuz is potato? Ok idk maybe I'm wrong anyway I never ate here before so I just got the same thing as her. It was the right amount of greasy and unhealthy, you know when you eat something that's so unhealthy it looks, smells and taste unhealthy but it's so good it doesn't really matter? Yah that's what it is. My other friend got , I think this place has pre basic ? It tastes good but it's not extraordinary and life changing. I probably wouldn't get this corn dog frequently but If I wanted to treat myself to eat UNHEALTHY I would order this. Just think about it, this thing is dunked in hot oil and the entire thing is fried but whatever it tastes good :)

Hotdogst and processed cheese. It was half a slice but broth melted it

$8 for instant ramen is not cool. They also added half a slice,. I repeat, half a slice of processed cheese. The meat bat was just as brutal. How is this place still around???

This place, tucked away just 5 minutes' driving distance from Coquitlam Centre, is clearly beloved by the local Korean community. The portion sizes are generous. They are perfect for sharing with family or friends. We saw many families and younger groups dining in, which gave it a cozy, homey vibe. We can taste the love and comfort in every bite. Here's what we ordered: * Beef Tartare Bibimbap - Not your typical bibimbap! The raw beef was beautifully seasoned and full of flavour. This was hands down our favourite dish! * Naengmyeon - Cold noodles in a super refreshing broth. Perfectly chewy with a balanced, savoury tang. A must-have on a hot day. * Japchae - Excellent portion, great price. The noodles were springy and not greasy at all--just the right balance of flavour. Great value, quality ingredients, and authentic flavours--Hansol is definitely going on our go-to list whenever we're craving comforting Korean food. We are highly recommend it for students, families, or anyone who loves real Korean cooking! Food: 5/5 Must Try! Service: 5/5 Kids: 4/5 Yay! We ordered short rib BBQ, Beef tartare Bibimbap, and original-flavor deep-fried chicken wings. Beef tartare Bibimbap was served in a hot stone bowl with a variety of vegetables on top of the rice. The gochujang sauce was served separately, allowing us to adjust the spiciness to our preference. It was a pretty good dish. The short rib BBQ was very tender and nicely seasoned. It was slightly on the sweeter side, very delicious. I will definitely order it again. The original flavor deep-fried chicken wings were served fresh and hot. They were incredibly crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside--very good! Next time, I should order them with a flavored seasoning, as I already knew the original version was cooked with less saltiness, meant to be paired with a sauce. Overall, I really like this restaurant. The food tasted good, and the most notable point was the reasonable price! It was a very good deal, and it has now become one of my regular go-to places.

Staff are friendly but understaffed. Once the place filled up they were swamped. Signature steamed seafood pot - definitely on the pricey side, but they don't skimp out. Special mention for the presentation. Plenty of goodies including an entire lobster, half a large octopus (tenticle/arm half), snails, oysters, scallops, prawns, and fish balls among others. Basically everything without fish. Served in a large tray (the ones seen at banquet buffets), and everything cooked in broth. This was enough to probably feed 4-5 adults (assuming average appetites). So pretty. Deep fried squid with fries - honestly this dish was meh. Basically exactly what it sounds like. Squid is tempura style. Nothing special. I'd skip this one. Bossam (pork belly wraps) - served with tofu and spicy kimchi and some vegetable (kelp?) as well. They don't really give enough wraps compared to the pork slices. Decent portion size. My friends and I gobbled this up. This place also serves makgeolli (Korean rice wine) for a very reasonable price. Goes well with the food. Overall my friends and I left happy. Wouldn't mind coming back at some point to try some other dishes. Recommended.

We ordered 2 of the combo A which was the perfect servings for 2 adults and 3 (very hungry!) teenaged boys. Not only did it come with 3 meat types (thinly sliced pork belly, marinated beef Bulgogi, and one other thinly sliced beef), it also came with soup, banchan, and a big bowl of Bibimbap. We also ordered their seafood pancake which was perfectly crispy and not too thin or thick. The actual bbq grill itself was the best one I've seen at a Korean restaurant because it was non-stick, temperature controlled really well, and it didn't leave us smelling like the food after dining. The ventilation must've been good here as it wasn't super smoky at all. The best dish was definitely the bean paste soup! We all loved it and had never tried it before, so next time we have Korean, it will be a staple in our order! It wasn't too busy last night so we were seated right away. Staff were friendly and while they were short-staffed, they were quick enough to get what we requested and ordered in a timely manner.
