    Spicy ramen

The staff is nice, and you can get the kimchi side dish if you want, you don't have to charge more for that. Speaking of the ramen, the noodle texture is fine, not too soft. The soup base is pretty special, I don't know how to describe, but I drink pretty much of it. There are two pieces of pork, surprisingly, they taste different, one is tender and the other one is a bit dry. Overall, an okay-good experience.

Ramengers assemble or disassemble? Passed by this place a few times and always wanted to see what marvellous ramen or food they can assemble together. The outside of this restaurant looks like a house back in the 80s that just went through a gamma testing with a parking lot in front that fits about 4 cars, basically pretty ghetto looking outside. My spidey sense was tingling... However the inside seems like it went through some renovations; a customized retro multicade (arcade machine) situated by the entrance, throughout the restaurant is decorated with retro toys and marvel comic posters. It seems like the owner time travelled back to the 80s or 90s and a fan of the Marvel heroes universe? After reading all the reviews hulking up this place, I crossed my fingers and hoped this time, the foodies' reviewed and blogged about is somewhat accurate and not just a bunch of foodies with no standards. Here were the food I ordered; 1. Deep fried dumplings. I don't know where these dumplings came from but they seemed like they were encased in walnut shells, they were hard and the fillings were dry! 2. Smoked pork. The smoked pork was very tender with a hint of a smokey flavour. 3. Ramenger cheese ramen. The ingredients were a bit lacking and the soup was lukewarm. Failed! 4. Ramenger spicy ramen. The ramen noodle seemed like it didn't go through a cold water rinse and they were soggy, way overcooked!! Absolutely failed!! The service here was very monotone and extremely slow especially when it wasn't even busy. The Captain of this place and his team were as friendly and welcoming as Thor taking a trip to the dark world. The atmosphere was quite casual with renovated interior to stop any ants or wasps or spiders from slinging around. As for the food, the 4 items I ordered sure weren't no Fantastic 4; the soups were lukewarm, the noodles were overcooked, the meats were dry, and quite lacking of ingredients. I would love to be your friendly neighbour foodieman and give every place a 5 star review but unfortunately before ramen became a trend here, there were only me another place where Danbo is now, serving fresh ramen. Anyways I have do what Ironman did, snap my fingers to smoked this Ramenger off my list! Not a repeat for me unless one day it disassembled and reassembled to be a true Ramenger.

I came here for lunch with a Colleague. There are not a lot of restaurants open in the area during lunch time. The restaurant is somewhat out of no where. I got the Ramenger Cheese ramen for $12.86. Looking at the old menu pictures, looks like they didn't raise their prices. It was very delicious and the portion size was quite big. Price was reasonable as well. The restaurant itself is quite small and has around 4 tables only. Most people only come here for take out only. My Ramenger cheese ramen had lots of good flavors. I also like how they put the sides on a separate dish/not in the noodles when severed. The chashu was very flavorful. It has a nice smoky flavor to it. The chashu was quite thick when compared to other ramen shops. Overall, I will really enjoyed my meal. I do feel for the person working here. He was the only one taking order, making the ramen and cleaning up tables. He was a bit grumpy and I do think service wasn't wow and he was somewhat rude. But because he was the only person working, I will let it go.

The smoking pig feat ramengers. My first time here and I am hooked! I'd definitely recommend this hidden ramen spot, it's quite good pricing for their ramengers ramen it's $11.43 that has the smoky chasu meat and a full egg that is quite soft and yolky inside! Quite a good deal I like the little sides they include for every bowl comes with corn, black mushroom fungus, a little greens ( I put these straight into my ramen bowl and mix it in) and pickled onions (I tend to eat that on the side as a palate refresher, it's pretty good vinegary pickled) Their sides/appetizers are decently priced as well! The honey garlic chicken is boneless and super saucy and crispy for only $13.33, I've also tried their sweet and spicy chicken (it's yangnyeom so it's not super spicy but has a light kick to it) I really love their pieces of boneless fried chicken, huge pieces it's really worth it! I love their interior decor, they play great throwback music and they have a punching bag just in the middle of the dinning area and just a cute little (Annabelle) rag doll chilling by their amazing Bluetooth speaker in the wooden box. The decor here is cool and I like how spacious the tables are, you get to have your privacy and the food and service is quick and good I tried their spicy ramen and I got regular spicy (they also have hero and thanos level of spicy I would like to try next time) regular was pretty good, I like the spicy oil added into the soup and changed the taste completely! I'd say I can't go back to non-spicy now because I really do enjoy spicy soup now!

Salt and pepper chicken. Perfectly crispy.

Excellent food at a great price. The simple menu means they focus on quality. But quantity is no stranger here either. The ramen bowls are filling on their own. (Dang good marinated egg!) But the fried chicken is plenty to share between a few people as a side dish. Excellent place.

Ramengers was on our bucket list for quite some time and we finally got around to checking the place out! Although it is tucked away in an odd area of Coquitlam and it doesn't look like much from the outside, the inside tells a different story--it is small but nicely decorated (with Avengers canvas posters on the walls) and has an overall great vibe. We ordered the Ramengers Cheese Ramen and it was packed with flavour and extremely filling. We will definitely be coming back in the near future to enjoy more of their tasty ramen!

Very disappointed. Not worth the hype!!! Too overpriced for items that aren't even available. The server/partial owner is very rude. They have portions of small pork but cannot do a large order? So they can make an extra few bucks? No bueno. I highly suggest go down to north road not even a couple blocks away and get your pork and ramen fix. Took 35 mins for our soda we ordered and food all came different times. I do understand if it was covid crazy and packed but only 3 other tables besides my table and my brother table.

I've been wanting to go to this location for a while now since I really missed the old Ramengers and this location was a bit out of the way for me. We were in Coquitlam for the day so my boyfriend and I decided to just check it out. The location is a bit in the middle of nowhere but there's easy parking. Inside it was very spacious but the ambience was kind of strange. We both decided to order the regular ramen and a honey garlic fried chicken to share. Service was very fast and friendly, we got all our food within 15 minutes waiting time. They gave us a dish of ramen toppings and we can put it in ourselves, I enjoyed the corn, cooked spinach and woodear mushrooms alot. The broth of the soup was very rich and creamy, the noodles had a nice bite. What I loved so much was the smoked cha shu pork, that was incredible, tender and had a nice smoky taste without masking how juicy and sweet the pork was. The ramen also came with a tea egg which was so delicous as well, I liked that the egg yolk had a nice sticky texture. Overall, the ramen was good but it is not as good as other kinds I've had before. The fried chicken was basically small fried pieces of katsu chicken with the honey garlic drizzle sauce, we really enjoyed that as well but we were more expecting a style like korean fried chicken. Overall, I think it was pretty good but it's not spectacular enough for me to drive out of the way to come back

Just look at that succulent slab of pork. Mmmm

Kind of a love hate relationship with this place. Starting with the love. Amazing Korean(ish?) ramen cooked with care. The pork is not only included (Japanese places you have to pay extra) , but sizeable, smoky, sweet, succulent and sooo tender. The marinated egg is soft and gooey almost melting into the broth when you split it open. The noodles are a great tasting, handmade medium cooked perfectly for the flavorful broth. Definitely recommend the spicy broth, it's just the right kind of flavory spicy combo that you're not dying trying to eat. They have HERO spicy and it's definitely spicy AF although I feel the flavor slightly falls off. Plot twist, get the spicy cheese! It's the weirdest combo but the gooey melted mozzarella with the noodles is a great combination and adds more heartiness to the dish. Now the hate. The music is TERRIBLE! Like they have a great sound system with great clarity and bass. . . To play every female depressing, annoying, whiney pop ballad you've never heard (for a reason!). And it never ends! Endless s*itty pop songs/remixes and superballads at a slightly loud enough to make you cringe volume. The quirky figurines and Impersonal service is fully okay but the music loses two stars from me Go there for the food and you won't be disappointed. But you WILL be aurally assaulted by Demi Lovato singing about how "this is me"

Ramengers Ramen, kind of a Shio Ramen...

I have only been here for weekdays lunch multiple times, and it is very quiet, too much I would say, so I assume they must get busier at night... Menu is quite short but consistently very good. Easy parking, fast service and comfortable seating, all together make this place an exceptional ramen place far from Downtown Vancouver where they mostly tend to be...

We saw this restaurant was highly rated, so we came here and tried their food. There is not too many parking spots outside the restaurant. We came after 2pm, so we could park anywhere we wanted. Location wise is not great. We ordered half order of boneless fried chicken with sweet soy, pork and rice soup and smoked pork. All of them tasted great. The pork in the pork and rice soup was very tender and soft. Once we put the pork in our mouths, they would be melting right away. The soup looked simple but the flavour was fabulous. The half order of the fried chicken had 10 pieces. Each piece had a decent size. Two of us couldn't finish the dish because we ordered other two dishes of food. The smoked pork tasted good but we liked the pork and rice soup more. Pricing is reasonable and average here. It was just strange that the restaurant did not turn on the heat. A server provided us a small heater just in case we felt cold. Other than the parking and heating system issues, we enjoyed the food here.

Spicy Cold Noodles with Smoked Pork ($18)

I was in Coquitlam when I decided to check out this place. It is right beside Mackin Park, and is quite a small place probably only having 8 tables in total. The restaurant is avengers themed which I didn't realize until I saw the menu having ramengers noodles. I was served quite quickly, but the menu didn't have much to choose from. I wasn't in the mood for ramen, and everything was pretty cheap so I ordered two items. I had the Spicy Cold Noodles with Smoked Pork ($18) which was a pretty good price for the amount of food and how full I was afterwards. The pork was pretty tasty, but the main items that stood out we're the kimchi flavored radishes, which were pickled well and at a nice spicy level. Other than that, I found the noodle sauce a bit too sweet, and would have preferred warm noodles rather than the cold ones served. The pork was also a little bit too wet when I received it, and I didn't really get the smoky taste I was looking for. It's a cool spot hidden in Coquitlam, but ive had more inspired Korean food around Vancouver. I liked the avengers theme of the restaraunt though, and think the prices are quite reasonable for what you get.

$12 for half an inch of pork loin and Ramen plus a whole flavoured egg. Nothing to write home about. Service is pretty non existent. Take your order, deliver food and that's it. $16 pork dish with veggies is a rip off considering the portions or lack of it! Why is it rated so high?

This is great as we don't read Korean and it has pictures for everything. We ordered a regular kimbab and the jang teo gook bab, which is a stew like dish with beef, veggie and rice. You can also customize how spicy you'd like right on the tablet. Both items we got were very good. The gook bab was still a bit spicy for me even though I ordered less spicy but the flavor is absolutely amazing. The booth is meaty and savory. The Kimbab was a yummy as well. It's much lighter than the gook bab. And my favorite out of all, is the soup that they provide for FREE. Hands down the best free soup ever. Food is yummy, portion is generous, service is great. I'm definitely coming back soon :)

My favourite has to be the tuna kimbap! Always a classic and can never go wrong Cold noodles are also such a treat in the hot weather we're having in Vancouver right now. However, I have to admit that this cold noodle was not as good as I thought it would be . I have also had the tteokbokki and chicken. It sounded so good I had to order it despite ordering it before and not liking it . They give a large portion so it's a good food to share with a party of friends! This is probably personal preference but the tteokbokki was a bit too soft and overcooked for my taste. I also think I prefer to have fried chicken and dip it into the tteokbokki instead so overall this dish was not my favourite.
