This is great as we don't read Korean and it has pictures for everything. We ordered a regular kimbab and the jang teo gook bab, which is a stew like dish with beef, veggie and rice. You can also customize how spicy you'd like right on the tablet. Both items we got were very good. The gook bab was still a bit spicy for me even though I ordered less spicy but the flavor is absolutely amazing. The booth is meaty and savory. The Kimbab was a yummy as well. It's much lighter than the gook bab. And my favorite out of all, is the soup that they provide for FREE. Hands down the best free soup ever. Food is yummy, portion is generous, service is great. However, I have to admit that this cold noodle was not as good as I thought it would be . I have also had the tteokbokki and chicken. It sounded so good I had to order it despite ordering it before and not liking it . They give a large portion so it's a good food to share with a party of friends! It's definitely a guilty pleasure of mine especially when you eat in they provide this really good hot soup in the teapot that has garlic and in my opinion msg ( I really think it's the instant noodle seasoning perhaps some of that is added to make this 'soup') anyways it's a very flavourful broth and I can't get enough of it. Trip #1 - Banchan - sliced yellow radish and cubed radish. Both were good to whet everyone's appetites. - Ddock bok ki (#7) ($11.95) - the rice cakes had a firm, bouncy texture. Fish cakes really absorbed all the sauce. Would be nice if this included a bowl of rice. - Chicken with cheese ddock bok ki (#10) ($25.95) - chicken was flavourful and tender. I came here on my own a few times and as it was always crowded in the tiny restaurant, I usually had the kimbap to go. Everything I had was good, way fresher and better than those from H-Mart. It can be a bit oily as they seemed to coat the kimbap with a brushing of oil over the seaweed wrap. Tip: Do not keep in fridge overnight as it dries out and the rice becomes hard. My bf and I ordered mul naengmyeong (cold noodles with broth)$12, beef kimbap rolls $5, and the pork rice stone pot $12. You can add vinegar and mustard to taste. Rice cakes were nice and chewy and the fish cake was nice generous slices. Flavour is sweet and spicy. Personally for me it was perfect and not too spicy. * #23 - Bibim naeng myeon ($14.50) ~ cold noodles are best especially after the gym due to it being so refreshing. It was nice and flavourful. I am so thrilled to have ordered this because the noodles were chewy and the pairings were so refreshing with the cold noodles! * 8/10 ~ I really enjoy coming here. Their kimbap is so good and the rice cakes are phenomenal. I do wish the cold noodles had more of a kick to it. But overall still delicious. * 9/10 ~ portions are huge and generous.
