Absolutely fantastic meal. Just landed in Colorado and this was our introduction--could t have had better service, tasty food, or a better experience. The cauliflower was out of this world. The mushroom dish was to die for. I did NOT like the crisp but maybe I was expecting different--it was cold and swimming in vinegar. Otherwise, an A+ dinner.

The lobster roll was not a lot of food, as you can see from the photo. The server was nice, but had way too many tables so we did not get our food order in for like 30 minutes after sitting. The tables were also very close to each other so there was not a lot of space for feeling comfortable and it was pretty loud. We probably won't be coming back.

Wow, wow, wow. My dad recommended this place for dinner after he had enjoyed lunch here! At first I am not going to lie- I was turned off because of the four star reviews. (I'm a a 5 star snob- if I'm gonna eat out, it's gonna be worth it ya know?) Those people are crazy. I left The Kitchen American Bistro shooooooketh. This place is phenomenal. Our waiter, Jason, was the best part. He was just cool, chill, his timing was perfect, and his recommendations were spot on. The ambiance reminds me of a tiny spot in NYC- I loved it. The lighting, the deco- it was perfection. We had soooo many things. The Burrata- holy hell, we ate it so fast I had no time to take a pic. The carrots were delectable as were the lamb and pita. We also had the gnocchietta (spelling?), the mussels, AND the rolls to dip in that delicious sauce from the mussels. We topped off our meal with the mouse peanut butter chocolate I don't even know melt in my mouth deliciousness that Jason recommended. I literally can't breathe I am so full- yet so so satisfied. We had the Pinot noir & my dad had a whiskey sour- did not disappoint. This. Place. SLAPS - bravo to yall. And may all waiters/waitresses be as pleasant and kind as Jason!

My friend and I came to The Kitchen American Bistro for Thanksgiving dinner but left with mixed opinions. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted and seated. Service here was top-notch; however, the food quality was inconsistent. I had the roasted turkey, and it was delicious! The gravy perfectly complemented the turkey and cranberry sauce. Taste-wise, the leek and mushroom dressing was excellent; however, it was also unevenly heated, with half of the dressing being cold. My date had the pot pie, and he was not a fan of the food. The pot pie was excessively greasy, with actual pools of grease in the pan. Overall, The Kitchen American Bistro serves food of varying quality. It was not worth the $100 in my opinion.

Amazing place! Everything was delicious. The Kansas strip steak was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The burrata was as good as it gets and the drinks were made perfect. The service was outstanding and ambiance casual but very comfortable. I highly recommend trying this place.

We had our rehearsal dinner here and it was absolutely spectacular. The ambiance, food, service, and wine room event space was perfect. Everyone raved about the carrots and the family style dishes. If you're having a dinner event in Denver, The Kitchen is a fantastic selection.

Wonderful private dinner with a full menu. Too much food. I loved the salad and the steak dinner. Amazing with the chèvre cheesecake.

Nice flavors in all vegetarian dishes. The crispy cauliflower is really good and it counts as one meal. The pasta dish gnochetti was too oily, heavy on pesto so I didn't care for it. The squash is good as well.

We had a group of 6 last week for dinner and had a decent experience. We ordered the burrata with peaches for the table. My sister and I split the mussels, crab fried rice, and the carrots. We ordered bread for the mussels because of the scrumptious sauce the mussels came in. The carrots were tender and seasoned well. The crab fried rice was a little lack luster in my opinion. I kept waiting for the punch of flavor and it never came. Service was good. Overall very enjoyable

My favorite thing that I had was the lavender mocktail. Not only was it pretty to look at but it was actually quite tasty. It was essentially just like a lavender lemonade but unlike some places I've tried, you can actually taste the lavender fragrance which I personally love. We had a variety of items from the menu. I enjoyed the appetizers with the bread and the cheese and spread. The steak was also quite tasty. This is defiantly a higher end restaurant but the service is a good reflection of it. They're very attentive and your dishes do get changed very often.

This was my first time visiting The Kitchen American Bistro, and from the moment I walked in, I knew I was in good hands. I had the pleasure of having Momi as my server, and I mentioned right away that it was my first time here and I wasn't sure what to order. She didn't miss a beat -- she recommended starting with their signature "Downtown Derby" cocktail. Great call -- it was the perfect way to kick off the night. After that, I decided to fully trust Momi's recommendations and let her guide the entire dinner. First up was the Carrots plate -- I'll admit, I was a little skeptical at first (it's just carrots, right?) -- but when the dish arrived, it completely exceeded my expectations. A fantastic start. Next came the Lamb Arayas -- absolutely a 5 out of 5. Tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Momi then surprised me with Grilled Oysters, which were also very good -- I'd give them a solid 4 out of 5. For the main course, she suggested the Bone Marrow, and let me tell you, it was another knockout -- easily another 5 out of 5 and something I would highly recommend to anyone visiting. To finish, Momi insisted I couldn't leave without trying the Mousse Dome for dessert -- she was absolutely right. The perfect ending to an outstanding evening. Overall, between the food, the service, and the experience, The Kitchen delivered a night to remember. Huge thanks to Momi for making my first visit unforgettable -- I'll definitely be back!

Pretty decent place, came here for lunch. They have outdoor and indoor dining options. Very modern and spacious inside. Service was friendly and attentive. As you come in you see Kimbal Musk's book, and it is his restaurant (brother of Elon Musk). I would say it is not amazing but pretty decent. We had tomato soup, baby lettuces salad, and halal chicken sandwich with fries. We also had two non alcoholic cocktails that were ok. Overall pretty decent but definitely overpriced for what it is.

Went here for dessert and after-dinner drinks after having a disastrous meal elsewhere. The staff was incredibly nice, attentive, and this place has a nice outdoor area to sit at. The Mousse Dome was a perfect size (not too big, not too tiny) and tasted great. Husband loved their take on Creme Brûlée. They saved the birthday evening, and I look forward to eating a full meal (and not just dessert) here in the future.

I won't completely spoil it for people who want the fun of the hunt, but I'll leave a few hints at the bottom. The drink special that night - their version of an Old Fashioned - was excellent and absolutely worth ordering. The other cocktails are liquor + mixer with the soda or bar gun. We tried a local gin (can't remember the name) & soda and a Four Roses Bourbon & Pepsi. There was a odd flavor that came with that round and tasted watered down. Stick with the special. So good! I'd go back all day for the special alone. The staff was a little bit of an outlier compared to the rest of the experience. Everyone was nice, but they didn't seem especially engaged, and the attire didn't really match the speakeasy atmosphere.
