Hang over food at its best, The Delectable Egg claims that its healthy and maybe for Denver it is. But compared to fresh California fare, the heavily buttered toast and fried potatoes were enough to induce an early morning food coma. That said, I liked my breakfast in this mom and pop kind of diner. Low key and friendly, hit this place up if you are in town. read more

On my recent visit to Denver. This was a daily spot. The staff was warm and friendly and the food was delicious. Many options to choose something different daily or stick to favorites. Everything was so good. read more

Service is always excellent and the food is amazing. Everything on the menu is delicious and the fresh artwork in the place creates a beautiful and unique atmosphere. My favorite breakfast, brunch, lunch place. read more

Fantastic breakfast place! The prices are low and you get a ton of food. Another cool bonus is that they have trivial pursuit at your table.

Awesome breaksfast/brunch walked in sat down immediately 50 people there.. Ordered homemade Omelette with fresh potatoes and sourdough...They even have fresh coffee from Elevation, is downtown...Really good..Fresh. Recommend to anyone downtown looking for Brunch on Sat read more

I love this breakfast. Eggs over medium, hash browns, white buttered toast and side of either extra crispy bacon or sausage links.

Had some pretty great eggs benedict and a damn fine bloody Mary but the service there was incredible! Fast and friendly wait staff!

Crowded but got seated without a wait during prime time Sunday brunch hours. Our waitress was honest, helpful and prompt. The largest, most mouthwatering menu we could have asked for. Peanut butter French toast was out of this world. Would definitely recommend and return the next time I'm in Denver!!! read more

Great breakfast .... especiall "the Godfather", even though not on the menu anymore, they still serve it....

Decent spot for breakfast. We went here after trying snooze but there was a 1 hour wait. We were seated right away and most us went with the omelets. Denver is known for green chilies so I had the Tex Mex omelet which had just enough heat. Got the hash browns and English muffin as the sides. Affordable and good. I think our waitress was a bit overloaded but was nice. read more

Kind of OK -- not great -- not lousy There are far better options -- Terrible coffee -- Service is friendly -- food comes out quickly read more

Great breakfast, love the chorizo Benedict. The service is always good and the price is worth it.

This place is so cute! The menu offers plenty of variety with fun options to suit whatever you're in the mood for. There are some healthy options as well as old classics and unique beverages. The service was super speedy, the employees were all friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. The food was absolutely delicious and perfect for brunch!! I would definitely recommend this place to families, couples, groups, or anyone who's hungry for breakfast or lunch! read more

I LOVE breakfast! However, I did not love the breakfast here. . not even a little. The service was fine and the atmosphere was cute but the food was bland and boring. The omelette was 3 eggs but it was the smallest, flattest 3 egg omelette I have ever seen. It wasn't fluffy and it tasted. . . dry? Is that possible for eggs to be bright yellow, flat, and dry all at once? They have a pretty extensive menu so maybe I should have gone with something else. The omelette just didn't do anything for me. All the veggies inside were just luke warm and undercooked. My green peppers had the wrong consistency and temperature for a morning delight! The hash browns were boring and my english muffin was dripping in butter. Yikes. . pass! read more

when the subject of brunch came up this morning, my friend turned to me and said "OH I HAVE TO TAKE YOU TO THE EGG" apparently, i was in for breakfast goodness in my mouth. i must say, it was chewy breakfast goodness in my mouth. not to be confused with chewy trout in my mouth. but that's an inside joke, i guess, so you probably won't find that funny. but i do, so there. anyways, the delectable egg really is a breakfast/brunch/lunch mecca of all that is good. for starters, i love that there are carafes of water with lemon on every table. and just the right amount of lemon, too. on the beverage side, the coffee is pretty good and then there's the subject of the menu. i seriously couldn't make up my mind. if you know me, this shouldn't be a surprise. however, the egg folks really gave me a run for my egg money. so much good stuff on the plate. i went with a skillet from one of the six or seven options of skillets. it was gooooood eats. i was full, and a cornicopia of flavor burst in my mouth. oooh. what a colorful description. the staff was great, too, by the way. i really could eat breakfast food for every meal of the day. and if it was at the egg, i think i'd be pretty darn satisfied. read more

Don't be thrown off by the cheesy decor. The food is pretty excellent. I had The Idaho and loved it. The fresh squeezed OJ was really good too. The service was good and the food came out really fast. read more

The Delectable Egg has one of the most extensive egg-based menus I have ever seen! I liked this place, but didn't love it. The service wasn't that great and the food took fairly long, and it wasn't that busy at all. But, if you're downtown looking for a good brunch bite, I would recommend the Delectable Egg! I loved the pancakes and the skillets as well. They have great hot sauce too! read more

Saturday brunch at 10 AM and we walked right in. Great, attentive service from our male server. I had the huevos rancheros, which was great and satisfying. Definitely give this a shot if you're staying downtown and want a non-hotel breakfast. read more

We enjoyed our breakfast with the service being average. The poached eggs on my Benedict were cooked properly. The hashbrowns were very good. My brother's bacon was a bit too crisp for our liking. We would return for solid breakfast fare on the menu. read more

Great, cheap little breakfast place with all the basics and some great originals. I had the quiche Lorraine crepes, which were SO good. The special potatoes are really good too. I love that they give you a little carafe of coffee so you don't have to wait for refills or fend of over zealous waiters who want to pour you more before you are ready. My meal and coffee cam to less than $10. read more

Cool little breakfast place in downtown Denver. I loved all of the local artwork on the brick walls inside. I ordered the California Eggs Benedict with no complaints. Coffee was good and the service was excellent. We went first thing in the morning so we didn't have any waiting time. read more

Cute little place in a cool side of town. Went on a Tuesday morning wasn't crowded at all. Had the Denver omelette, because, well...anyway...the food was very fresh and the hash browns were really good and not greasy at all. Fast with service. If you're staying at the Westin, show your room key I think they gave us 15% off the bill. read more

I will not be visiting this place again. When I had breakfast last week I had the pleasure of sitting next to a woman who felt the need to eat with her socks AND shoes off and elevate them on the seat across the table from her!! Not only did I have to sit nearby that...when I ordered my food (which i was excited to try the stuffed french toast!) found about 3 pieces of hair in it...I'll pass on the delectable egg, you all enjoy! read more

Hooray for The Delectable Egg! two thumbs up all round - these guys know how to do a great breakfast and it hit the spot - was in here last weekend after a few days of wedding madness - what a brilliant way to get myself back together and on a plane and the server Ken is a true sweetheart - and, miracle of miracles - understands and provides good service! Ken - in this day and age you are a rarity and I salute you!!! read more

Really good food... They serve the egg over 100 different ways with a Colorado Mountain twist.

It was so good! The food was amazing, service was quick and attentive. I will always have brunch here from now on :)

We were going to eat at Snooze AM Eatery in Grand Central Station, but there was a two hour wait! Thankfully Yelp came to the rescue, and I found this place--it was nearby and could seat nine of us immediately. Homey decor, welcoming staff, good prices and tasty food. They even had these things called Wikki Stix, which kept the three kids in our party (and all of the adults) happily entertained throughout breakfast. The coffee wasn't great, but that was the only bad part, and the breakfast potatoes were delish! read more

I was driving through Denver and was looking for a good breakfast spot. I found the Delectable Egg and was really happy with my experience. The food was delicious. My boyfriend ordered biscuits and gravy, and I ordered the eggs Benedict. Both were great. The Hollandaise sauce was amazing and the gravy on the biscuits was also yummy. The service was good. Very calm waitstaff who stayed attentive. The place also has a nice vibe and is littered with really cool art which decorates it's brick walls. This is a great place that I definitely recommend. read more

Awesome breakfast place, rarely I find a restaurant that has hollandaise that is up to my standards (I'm very picky) however theirs was amazing. Food came out quickly and the waitress was very nice. It was a quick and easy place to eat before heading out onto the town. I'm not from Denver but next time I'm there I will definitely be back for breakfast! read more

This place is a few blocks from work and home for me. I ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich and added avocado. It was amazing. I would definitely order this again and return. They have a large menu to choose from and I also received really great customer service read more

Good service, good food. I am always looking for a great breakfast place...this will do. The menu is diverse, though almost a bit overwhelming. The potatoes were nice and crisp and my skillet of eggs was yummy. Coffee was perfect. I did find the bathrooms a bit strange as the exit to the mens and womens feed into the same hall and i collided with someone. Overall good food and reasonable prices (especially with coupon from Entertainment book) read more

Great Breakfast Place, cozy, friendly staff, and priced right.

I'm a breakfast eater and I enjoyed this place quite a bit. I had the French Toast and it was incredible. I went there with my wife and two year old and they were extremely family friendly. I've been back several times since. read more

We have tried the other locations and they are not as good. We love this place. Many healthier options than other breakfast places and it just tastes great. Great - friendly staff and love the atmosphere. We have tried most things on the menu but I really love the California Benedict and the new Mushroom Benedict. A lot of choices and the kids meals are cheap - but filling. read more

This is the first breakfast place my wife and I decided to go on our honeymoon here in Denver and it is amazing. The service is great and the food doesnt disappoint. Had the breakfast burrito with house made green chili sauce and I scraped the plate clean. Megan was a fantastic help getting us any and everything we needed including gluten free toast for my wife which is also very good. read more

Super yummy. Quick seating. I had the Idahoan Skillet and it was delicious! Friendly staff!

I flew to Denver to spend a weekend with my husband and unfortunately got sick as soon as I arrived. I needed food before my flight home and this place was close to our hotel I ordered a skillet and my husband ordered the Denver Omelette. My husband said I was fitting that it was the best Denver Omelette he's ever had. My skillet was perfect too. Service was good and very quick I just wish there was one close to my home. read more

Nice breakfast with prompt service. I had the Denver Egg Special with coffee. Perfect way to start the morning.
