This is one of our new favorite brunch spots! We love getting the pineapple mimosas and the egg dish with chorizo and potato's biscuits and gravy and Crystal often gets a speciality coffee to go. It's a great place to hang out and enjoy breakfast and then walk the city. They serve a lot of people here and do so with a smile. It's always excellent service and a clean place and the very best food. Can't wait to come again soon! read more

Amazing food and vibe. Service was solid. Each meal we ordered was very good. Would go again if not living in SoCal

such amazing food and really big menu! service was great even though it was packed in there. will be back for sure!

Fun spot to have breakfast with the extended family while we visited Denver. I had green tea along with my cup of fresh fruit and granola! So happy to find something light on the menu. My husband had a veggie frittata, hash browns and English muffin. My son had French toast, sausage and over easy eggs. My daughter had waffles, bacon and scrambled eggs. They all enjoyed coffee as well. Fast friendly service, considering we were with a large group. Everything was great except my daughter's scrambled eggs. Will definitely return next time we're in town. read more

Stopped by here to grab some brunch as we came out of town and saw the raving reviews. The place was super busy when we got there, however, thankfully they had a spot that opened within 15 mins for two people. The orders we got were super delicious, but unfortunately, can't remember what we got. It had a very fun and bright inside with lots of chatter. read more

Recently had an overnight layover in Denver and since the airport hotels were ridiculously overpriced, we decided to stay in the downtown area. The receptionist at Sentral (the property we stayed at) recommended that we check this spot out for brunch and boy were we glad she did. It was fabulous! We joined the waitlist prior to walking over (approx 10 mins) and by the time we arrived, our table was ready. We were greeted by a friendly smile and prompt service. The ambiance was cool, the restaurant was spacious and airy despite being packed. I had the oat pancakes with strawberries and my friend had the Denver omelet. Both were delicious and reasonably priced. I will be sure to visit again next time I am in town. Highly recommend you do the same read more

My son and I were staying in town just down the street and his favorite is eggs bennys so we decided to give The Delectable Egg a try. We both ordered Benedict's, him the classic and me the California. We had our food within 10 minutes and it was delicious. My son's hot chocolate was overflowing with whipped cream and goodness and the waitress came back many times to check on us with a smile... I also noticed the waiter next to us who had a finicky elderly customer, who treated her with absolute kindness meeting her many requests quickly and without question. Definitely great food and great service all around! read more

A great spot downtown. Friendly and attentive staff. Finding a place for breakfast that has a variety of "real food" for a vegan isn't easy. They have a lot of options, food & the coffee were great. Fast service. Would definitely recommend. read more

Excellent options and ambiance! I am a breakfast food lover and this place has great variety of food, good prices, and outdoor/indoor seating. It seems to always be busy so take the small wait as a customary experience - it's worth it :) read more

The breakfast at this restaurant was a massive success for the most part. I loved the variety of choices on the menu. I sat at the bar and quickly received a menu and a water. I settled on the breakfast quesadilla and coffee. The coffee was a house blend and quite good. The food came out nice and hot but missing a key ingredient. Later in the meal they brought out the missing ingredient (avocado) in a bowl with no type of apology. It still tasted great and it was a large portion I really enjoyed the taste of the salsa as o dipped my quesadilla in it. The chips on the side were also seasoned My only complaint was that after my first cup of coffee the refill situation took forever and I was basically done with my food before he came back and checked on me. I would certainly come back read more

My husband and I ate here for breakfast on our trip to Denver and it was delish! We knew it was going to be good when we walked up to find a small line before it opened, on a Thursday morning. My husband got the Denver omelet and I got the biscuits and gravy w/ two eggs that also came with meat of your choice and either hashbrowns or potatoes. I got sausage patties and potatoes. Let me just say that when our food came out and they set mine in front of me, my husband said "holy s*&^, you pig" (joking off course) and our waitress died laughing - she was awesome too. It was SO MUCH FOOD!!!!! Normally when you get a $15 breakfast, it is not worth it but this was enough food for three people and so good! The biscuits were super soft and fluffy, the eggs were cooked perfectly and the sausage and potatoes were delish. My husband usually gets an omelet and said this one was unlike anything he had before - the inside had like a crusty cheese on it and he said it was so good! Needless to say, the food and service were great and we will definitely be back on our next visit to Denver. read more

Bennys are their specialty - as we were told by our waitress. So we each ordered one. She got the California Benny and I got green eggs and ham. Both were outstanding. We are fans of this awesome breakfast venue. They have an extensive menu. So you're sure to find something that you can enjoy. Our waitress was particularly helpful, checking to make sure our order was filled properly - with the adjustments we requested. The vibe is fun with all the tables full when we were there. The exposed brick is vintage LoDo. Recommended! read more

Yum! What a wonderful cute brunch spot- very affordable, too. We had no trouble getting seated as a group of 11 on a sunny Saturday morning. Everyone loved their dishes, particularly the Breakfast Burrito and Steak and Eggs. My Breakfast Quesadilla with chorizo was perfect- super cheesy and they didn't skimp on the sausage. I wish the house potatoes were crispier, I would opt for the hash browns next time. Servers were very attentive and friendly- I would definitely come back here for brunch in Denver! read more

I conducted a lot of homework before deciding where to go for breakfast during my 24 hours in Denver. The choice I came up with was The Delectable Egg in LoDo Denver. The eatery is quiet. It's got a lot of seating room and serves not only breakfast, but also lunch and brunch. I found that they had a very good selection of breakfast items which should satisfy any eager and hungry food customer. Ordered two dishes. The Huevos Rancheros with scrambled eggs, and the California Eggs Benedict. Both dishes were right on the money. For the first one, scrambled eggs were nice and soft, same for the tortilla. Beans were tasty. Ordered with side homemade potatoes, which though salty, were very good. For the Benedict the eggs were poached perfect. it also came with fresh spinach, hardly any stewed tomato, and avocado on a toasted English muffin. Had this one with a side of hash browns. Service was friendly and polite. read more

Great food and service! Good for vegetarians and whole family. Would definitely come again!

I scheduled a team breakfast and they all cancelled and I still decided to go and try this plane and man I am glad i did. On arrival I asked for coffee and it Came right away fresh hot and strong. Well not strong strong but better than plenty of places that serve breakfast. The blueberry pancakes were very good and just melted in my mouth. The sausage was GOODT! Looking forward to my next trip to Denver because this is a must go for breakfast. read more

TLTR: Hands down - my favorite breakfast spot I found in Denver. Now for the full review. Delectable Egg needs to open in Seattle STAT! Visiting Denver for the first time, I like to explore the city by eating and drinking at as many spots as possible. Anuhar made our time at Delectable Egg incredible. He's the type of server who goes above and beyond in every way, and with speed and excellence that just leaves you dumb-funded and thinking, "how does he do that?" He won me over at the very start when I ventured a very serious question: How is your Bloody Mary? Needless to say, I had a few because he told me they "made their Bloody Mary mix in house and it was highly customizable". Okay, sir, sold! 1 Spicy Bloody Mary please! Joking aside, I really appreciate honest servers who tell it like it is vs. what they think I want to hear. Both choices confirmed by Anuhar, I got the breakfast croissant, which was a solid choice. Bacon, melted cheese, croissants made in house...what's not to love? My bf got the "Meat Lovers" - it scared me too. This had cheddar cheese, ham, chorizo and bacon, and was topped with their country gravy. It was the kind of heaven you want to eat right before a nice nap. Hashbrowns were served with both meals and were SO GOOD. Crispy, tasty, and hot! I seriously dream of coming back to Denver just to come back here. read more

Had some time to spare before we board the rail to the airport so we decided to get breakfast here. Initially the hostess told us it would be a 40-45 minute wait but we were called within ~15 minutes! I got the waffle combo with sausage links. The waffle was sooo light and fluffy! Definitely hit the spot. My boyfriend got the steak and eggs. Steak was good and he enjoyed his meal! Prices are affordable. $13.50 for the waffle combo and $16.99 for the steak and eggs. Overall, would definitely recommend people coming here! read more

atmosphere was cute, but food was just decent. matcha was a no for me, but overall an easy breakfast/brunch if you know what you like!

Sunday morning 8am, not too busy. The server has this habit of sitting at your table while taking the order, not sure how I feel about it. The service was quick. Food looked good but was lacking flavors. I never add salt in my food but the hash browns definitely needed something, same with the crepe. Seemed pricy overall. Also I asked for salsa and got charged $3 for it! Not cool. read more

The service was fantastic and all the servers where very knowledgeable regarding having a gluten allergy versus celiac. The location is easy to get to by foot and is very cute and semi-spacious. I had the Popeyes omelette with bacon and fruit. Everything tastes great except for the hash browns which were lukewarm and dried out. My husband had the Denver and it was loaded with more onions than he would have liked and his potatoes were also lukewarm and cold in other spots. Delicious, simple and delectable food. Traveling here with my girls for a birthday and this place is located next door to the Thompson Denver. We didn't make a reservation, but we were added to the waitlist and they sent us a text when our table was ready, in total took about 15 minutes. Once seated, our server Jasmin G. was super nice and bubbly. We started off with 2 mimosas and a Bloody Mary. All the drinks were delicious! For food, we all had different items but everyone's entrees were good. My friends food did come out a little later than ours, but they were very apologetic about it. Overall I would definitely recommend and come back! read more

Back in August, we flew to Denver for a Rockies game and wanted to get breakfast to start our adventure. We called a few days prior to make a reservation since there were 11 of us. They were confused by the size of our party but said they don't do reservations. When we got to the restaurant it was hopping. Clearly a popular breakfast spot. They scrambled to accommodate a party of our size but managed to seat us in the same area, just not together at the same table. They have indoor and outdoor seating and we were seated inside. It was noisy but to be expected from a busy restaurant. The server came by twice and mostly ignored us, once for drink orders and once for food orders. When the food didn't come for one of our friends, we had to flag a random server down. Eventually, everyone got their food and drinks. I ordered BISCUITS & GRAVY W/TWO EGGS (Two buttermilk biscuits smothered with country sausage gravy served with house potatoes or hash browns and two eggs* any style). I chose house potatoes and added bacon. It was a huge amount of food, more than I could eat. Very delicious. The potatoes were crispy, the gravy was creamy and a little bit spicy from the sausage, and the eggs were fluffy. I asked for my bacon to be extra crispy and they did that. The food was so good that I forgot to take a picture before devouring it. When the checks finally came, after we asked for them, they all had 20% gratuity on them already. If you weren't paying attention, they had another line for you to add a tip to the total. I was not impressed with this or the service but I guess when you know you are getting a tip no matter what, you don't have to provide great service. read more

This spot was recommended by staff at our hotel. No wait to be seated. Great selection of breakfast and lunch dishes- several more with Mexican fare. The smart meal French toast was a full order of egg white battered whole wheat bread dusted with powdered sugar ($12.25) and served w a side of fruit and syrup. Breakfast with minimized guilt. The biscuits and gravy with two eggs ($11.25) comes with hash browns or house potatoes. Eggs any style. The sausage gravy was richly ladled over four biscuit halves. Delicious and hearty. This is a welcoming place with very good food. read more

Bottom Line: A solid breakfast spot with friendly staff. Pay at the counter upon exiting. To try something other than Snooze my husband and ventured over to The Delectable Egg. We were there first table of the day and we received a warm welcome from the host and prompt service from our server. When in Rome, do as the Romans do so I ordered the Denver omelet with ham, green peppers, onions, melted cheddar and scallions. But my husband got crafty and created his own omelet. We both opted for the potatoes over hash browns and enjoyed our coffee. The only thing that was a bit awkward was that our server dropped our check off and disappeared. She didn't mention that we were to take it to he front counter to pay so we sat there for quite a while wondering if she was coming back or if we take it up front. read more
