Me and the missus placed a to go order the other day. We'd gotten food from this Thai establishment once before and liked it. But I'm not sure whether that was with the current owners. Anyway... When I got there had a pleasant chat with one of the new owners. He said that he hoped it would prove the best Thai cuisine I'd had. Well, he was right about that. Quite spectacular. We got massaman curry, phad see ew, chicken satay, crab rangoons, and a particular standout with me, pumpkin curry with seafood. (More on that last one in just a bit.) The massaman and the noodles were very good. Thai curries are great to begin with, being so rich and flavorful. I liked their ordering system because they have smaller portions of the appetizers on offer or they have bigger portions. For example, you can get either four piece satay or eight piece. And rangoons come in either three piece or six piece. I like that flexibility. We got the smaller amounts and that way we were able to try both the satay and the rangoons. I'm glad we did. The rangoons are in a sort of triangular shape that made them easier to eat in my humble opinion. Satay is always a good accompaniment to any Thai meal and Thai Lime Leaf's was no exception. Phad see ew is a relative newcomer to my wife and I. We have started getting that instead of Phad Thai. I like the really substantial noodles in Phad See Ew. If you haven't tried it, I suggest that one with pork. Okay, so that brings me to the pumpkin curry. That is a new favorite for me and though I am excited to try other new things they have, it's gonna be tough for me to not get this one each time. I got it with seafood, which was a pretty generous portion of calamari, shrimp, scallops and mussels! All four of them. Wow. The flavor was quite unique and very intriguing. It's unequivocally my new favorite Thai curry. The gentlemen explained to me that they use Thai pumpkins, which are a bit different than the typical pumpkin. Thai pumpkins are grown and harvested I learned year round and not just seasonal. It had large chunks of the pumpkin in it but also flavored the curry sauce. It was sort of a cross between a roasted pumpkin, but more of a squash texture and also had textures and qualities of both a potato and a sweet potato. It was definitely great as a savory item though I can promise you that. Like I said, it was a real standout to me. One other really good thing (and something I bonded over with the owners!) is that when one orders something with a five star spice level, you definitely get some good heat! It had a spicy flavor and little red and green thai chiles in there. They will get you breathing fire I promise you that. It was sooooo good with the pumpkin curry. Thank you Thai Lime Leaf for being another outstanding addition to the restaurants in Everett. Makes me so proud to be here and I am really really looking forward to my next visit. I only regret we wolfed it down before getting any pictures to post. Next time I promise. read more

Great family owned restaurant always amazing food great customer service we order at least once a month and it's one of our favorites

I remember trying this place a few years back (I guess when the owners were different) and it was just ok. Gave it another shot early 2021 (I'm guessing ownership changed) as the food is markedly more delicious and memorable...so much so that's on our regular rotation for take out. I especially like their crab fried rice as they don't skimp on the crab and it tasted pretty fresh. A plus is wife really likes this place as well (she's vegetarian and picky)... which is why it's on our rotation. read more

Lime Leaf Turmeric Noodles were so tasty - light, with lots of fresh veggies like carrots, broccoli, green onion. My choice of protein was chicken, and there was plenty throughout the dish. Located near the Costco in Everett, this restaurant came under new ownership about a year ago. It is a small family business and they really care about the quality of what they serve. Service was excellent. The server was knowledgeable, attentive, helpful and gracious. There were many takeout orders picked up while I ate lunch dining in the restaurant. I ordered the red curry and pad Thai combo. The portion size was generous. They offer the option of black rice which is very nutritious, dense, nutty and chewy. There was a wait after I ordered since it is a small operation. They were happy to work around my food allergies and customized each dish as needed. The food was worth the wait. The service and Thai food here are memorably good. My 1st time trying. I ate there at the restaurant and met the owners. David works the front and his sister-in-law works the kitchen). They are lovely people! This family really cares - exudes joy and will go out of there way to satisfy. So, vegetarian or vegan or other aspects of what working looks like for you to be a happy customer. That matters to them. Tried their chicken Rama peanut sauce dish - Tom Kai Gai soup (with shrimp) and the mango sticky rice desert. Clearly - all worth having! I will be back! Exceptional, authentic Thai cuisine!! Our appetizer selection of REAL crabmeat rangoon, fresh prawn spring rolls and chicken satay were not only ridiculously delicious but also beautifully presented. We shared entrees of their special salmon curry, green curry with chicken, crispy basil chicken and ginger beef. All were delectable as well as creatively displayed. If I could give this place 6 stars I would in a heartbeat. When you walk in, you are instantly welcomed by the co-owner David. He and his sister have been running this family owned restaurant and they are doing an exceptional job. Everything on the menu is fresh and made from scratch (and most importantly, love). I love traveling off the beaten path to places i have never been to before. Call it wanderlust but part of the fun is exploration! Especially the food component of the trip. Todays lunch selection was the Chicken Drunken Noodle with stir fry veggies and a perfect blend of spices. A+. The spectrum of spiciness is 1-5. I ordered a 4 but not that hot. Should have ordered the 5 but delicious nonetheless. My lunch had some included "value adds" like a small cup of chicken drop soup, mini spring roll and a small scoop of ice cream to finish it all. The food was quick to the table. I was greeted immediately as i entered and seated at a very comfortable booth next to the window to gaze upon the rainy day outside. The interior decor is nice and very authentic with a nice big bar area. This is a very upscale place tucked away in a very unassuming strip mall. My new favorite Thai restaurant! The food is fresh and delicious, the staff friendly and the place is small but clean. "A hidden gem". The chicken satay came with peanut sauce and was just amazing. We also got chicken larb and drunken noodles and Tom Kha soup (10 out of 10!) I cannot think of any higher praise to give than to write about it and eat there often, which we will. Some of the best Thai food in Everett! Definitely a must try if you're looking for comforting Thai food.

(I live down the street, not in SF) We used to be regular patrons and loved the fresh, spicy dishes. We tried eating at a table last time and the boy serving us really didn't want to talk. Like pulling teeth to get him to answer a few questions. After our dishes were served, the cook came out to ask if it was all Ok, and we said yes. But not friendly enough to want to come sit down again. Yesterday we got take out. My massaman curry had very little flavor, scant chicken, and the potatoes that were in it tasted moldy. The chicken satay was very thin, and had no nuances of flavor at all. The sauce with it was barely peanut with the barest hint of spice. The little 'salad"--why did they bother? It was one tablespoon and a lot of sugary vinegar with no herbs. Not going back and disappointed after several years of good food and friendly service. Husband's experience of the food was similar and he was disappointed as well. read more
