Amazing and perfect food! Can't wait to come back to Everett JUST to dine here. Nice how menu has pictures. The service was too good! Good sized food portions! Everyone was so nice and overly attentive even. The restaurant was large and nice and open an airy inside, didn't feel crowded at all.

Fresh Roll

I was very impressed by this restaurant. From the outside, it looks like a little hole in the wall. When you walk inside, the decor is wonderful. Great use of color, high ceilings, clean tabletops, stemware for water glasses and water already at the table. Food is served on patterned plates, not the basic white so common now. Went in for a late lunch so there were not many table occupied and had very attentive service. The lunch menu is just a portion of the dinner menu, so if there is something else you are looking for it may be there. The prices were not that much less so I am not sure how the portions compare. I had the fresh rolls, which were delicious and came with probably one of the best peanut sauces I've had! For my entree, ordered the pineapple fried rice with checked. Absolutely wonderful food!

Always good service, great food, and clean! We go here before the silvertips games and fill up on great food at a great price instead of buying the overpriced junk in the arena!

So good! Som Tum and grilled chicken taste just like home -- real Thai-Lao flavor! Clean spot, friendly service, and even better with a Singha beer. Don't miss it!

Sunday, 7/11/2021 - First time eating at "Thai Gusto" Restaurant. This is a cute little restaurant in Everette, WA. We hired a driver to bring us here, as we are visiting Seattle, WA. So am unsure about parking here. Upon arrival: Pros: 1) restaurant is pretty large. Held about 25 tables with 4 chairs to each table (give or take). 2) service was great. 3) tables, chairs, utensils, plates, cups, etc all clean. 4) water tasted good. No metal taste. 5) we we given a large jug of ice water so we can refill our own water cups. 6) All of our food dishes tasted superb! Perfectly seasoned and cooked. 7) dessert was fried ice cream with vanilla ice cream with a side of coconut ice cream. It was delicious. But I wasn't used to the breading used on the fried banana. Still good tho. 8) women's bathroom was clean and well stocked. Sink clean. 2 stalls with 2 sink. 9) owners were very nice. 10) we had plenty of food left to take. It was too good. Cons: 1) no cons! Except the fried banana breading. I gotta get used to this type of breading. Conclusion: Love this place. We had no issues. Great service, delicious foods, clean restaurant, nice hostess. Will return here again. I recommend this location. As we were leaving, I did see a large parking lot next to the restaurant.

Green curry beef on rice!
Cynthia M.

Thank you, Thai Gusto for sending the fresh basil for my Pad Thai! Much appreciated! Both the green curry with beef and the Pad Thai with tofu were delicious! The green curry at this restaurant is green in color, which is vey nice! The dishes were both outstanding, and really hit the spot!

Food was meh. Had Basil Fried Rice; rice was tired and had very few vegetables. Service was good though.

The food just wasn't what it should've been or what it was the last time I was there a year ago. We ordered pad Thai and drunken noodles and the almost always delicious mango and sticky rice. The noodles in the pad Thai were very rubbery and very difficult to cut with a fork. And equally difficult to chew because they were so rubbery, the flavor of the dish was pleasant, although it was a little tangy/tart. The mango and sticky rice was the big disappointment because it's a $12 dessert. The mango was rockhard and very very sour. The mango was too hard to cut with a fork, in fact we didn't even eat it. We left most of it on the plate and just nibbled at the rice w sauce. Our server was very pleasant and sweet, but he did not speak much English and I didn't feel like I could communicate my disappointment on the mango and sticky rice, at least to him, and have him understand what I was saying so I didn't say anything. This visit probably was just a fluke, (but an expensive one, when the tip and tax were calculated) it was quite a disappointment given how good our prior visit was.

We ordered a vegetarian thai basil, fried rice.. it was spicyyyyyyyyyyyy .. we were actually seeing red chilies flakes on the rice and it was extremely spicy. Thought of calling them and returning it, but it was too late... we picked it just before they closed.. we also ordered a tofu drunken noodle.. noodle was good, but the tofu was really dry... it was ok ok. When we arrived, we were seated and I asked our server for a high chair for our toddler. Instead of bringing one, he told me to get it myself. I've never had that happen at a restaurant before. The high chairs were behind a heater, so it was awkward to reach and I had to manage it myself. We also didn't receive menus for several minutes. We ordered summer fresh rolls with tofu, egg fried rice, and chow mein with tofu (3 star spice). Food was served by a different gentleman who was very nice and brought plates, etc. The chow mein had no spice at all. We waited for our server to check in so we could request spicy sauce, but he never came back to our table. Our table was in the middle of the room, and we watched him check on other tables but not ours. Eventually my husband had to go to the counter to get chili oil. At one point my fork fell on the floor and again, no one came by so I could get another. When we left, there was no thank you or goodbye. In the past, the staff has always been Asian and has been consistently attentive and welcoming. This time our server was the only non-Asian staff member we've seen here and seemed unfamiliar with the restaurant's usual level of service. Unfortunately, we felt overlooked the entire time, which was the opposite of our past experiences. The food is still good, but the service today was unpleasant enough that we won't be returning. It's a bummer because we used to really enjoy coming here.

I liked the fact that the menu was well organized with well described ingredients and accompanying pictures of the dishes (as a more exotic type genre, I have no clue how the traditional dish name translates to something I wish to order). I ordered the Swimming Rama because I wanted wide noodles and spinach. It arrived as a generous portion with excellent quantities of all the different ingredients. I'm also not a fiery hot spice eater, but don't want bland either, and the temperature was proper at spice level 2-3. Normally I would have most of the dish and reserve some for lunch tomorrow, but it was so good (combined with a desire to not carry doggie bags to our next stop) that I finished my dish. My wife had the papaya salad and red curry, and she found them very fresh and flavorful, spicy but not excessive. She also finished her plate. Minor deduction in that the dining area is somewhat small and nondescript, and the door on a cold evening let in some cold (our waiter made sure to bus the door with every passage to minimize this issue). Prices were fair and competitive: great quality and quantity at a good price. I don't understand why there wasn't more of a a crowd!? A real witness: We are planning on returning in a month.

Through a small door opening is probably a small kitchen where one can hear the wok sizzling. At lunch when we went, is a young friendly Thai lady alone taking orders and manning the cashier and to go orders. Maybe in the back is one guy responsible for the cooking. But what comes out of the rook is really good and tasty. We had Pad See Ew with Beef. This is my standard test to know if the Thai restaurant is good. This one surely passes the test. The beef slices were tender. Portion size was fair and smoke. The sauce clinging to the noodles is perfect. It had a good amount of charred broccoli and carrots. The Pad Thai with Chicken Satay is impressive, as well. Perfectly balanced flavors of sweetness, sourness and aromatic. The satay was generous. There's a slight misstep with the peanut sauce, I think. It seemed thickened with cornstarch as opposed to just a reduction. If the other items on the menu were of these quality, I would certainly love to try them. So the restaurant may not be pretty, but what we've tasted is good, really good. We'll be back.

Our waitress had a good knowledge of gluten free options and was able to help me order something I could have. She was helpful and only really came to the table when needed. They had tons of traditional Thai options, but also some fun specials that I can't wait to try next time I go. A really great variety- plus some amazing lunch specials that I want to come back to try. The takeout box started dissolving a few hours later, so would recommend transferring into containers as soon as you get home. The noodles did last well to be reheated the next day for leftovers, which is always a good sign. Flavorful, delicious, knowledgeable severs, and a reasonable price! We started with the pumpkin tempura. It was crispy on the outside, with a naturally sweet pumpkin inside. It was really delicious. It came with a dipping sauce, though the portion felt quite small. The side of lettuce and a chunk of purple cabbage felt a bit odd presentation wise, but once we wrapped everything together and dipped it, it tasted great. For my main, I ordered the vegan herb tofu salad with medium spice. It was mostly fried tofu tossed in a herb dressing with mint, tamarind, and cilantro. The flavor was a mix of sweet, spicy, and tangy. It honestly reminded me a bit of pani puri. That said, the sweetness was a bit overpowering and made the dish slightly sticky. If they toned that down, it would be perfect. We also tried the vegan 17th curry fried rice, which was good. The curry flavor was subtle. My toddler absolutely loved it. Overall, I would recommend this place, especially for vegans. The food was good, with the only downside being that some dishes leaned a bit too sweet for my taste. The service was okay, not exceptional, but not bad either. I had visited this place about three years ago on a busy Friday night and had a pretty poor service experience, so I wanted to give it another shot on a weekday. The food has improved, and the service was decent this time around.
