    Tofu Pad See Ew
    Alekkz D.

Since having moved to Everett fairly recently, we've tried out about 2-3 different Thai restaurants and I'd say this is our go-to here! My husband and I's go to are always: Pad Thai, Pad Se Ew, and Pineapple Fried Rice. I'd say my favorite is the Pad Thai, the Pad Se Ew in my opinion can be a little on the saltier side here but still good! Pineapple Fried Rice, I think it's really hard to mess that up but that's delicious too! If anything, I'd love to give a shoutout to the staff here because they have been very nice each time, greeting us with smiles, and checking in to see if we need anything! I guess that's what brought us back already 3-4 times! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside of the restaurant is nice and clean too![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Caught dinner with a friend at Zab Thai Restaurant in Everett on the corner of 112th and Evergreen Way. While my friend had dined here in the past, I was a Zab noobie, as I've never had the pleasure of dining there before. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love their logo, the colors and font design are very eye catchy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside of their restaurant had an equally appealing ambiance throughout.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their menu contains a good variety of options and while none are specifically labeled as vegan, many options are inherently vegan anyhow. If you're unsure, don't hesitate to ask your server. Ours was very knowledgeable and when I tried to order a curry dish, advised that the curries all contain fish sauce. I ultimately opted for Swimming Rama, tofu sauteed on a bed of cooked spinach with peanut sauce. The peanut sauce was super rich and incredibly delicious, I savored every bite! My friend ordered the Pad See Ewe and it must have been really good because it seemed to distract her from having to put up with the likes of me .. haha! If you're in the area, you should definitely check them out!

I was recommended this place by a family member, so I came in with high expectations, unfortunately, I left a bit underwhelmed, and my family member was also disappointed with today's experience. To start on a positive note, we really enjoyed the Tom Kha, it was flavorful and comforting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And the ambiance was spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, the Pad Thai was overly sweet and the beef was quite dry. My family member had enjoyed it on a previous visit but agreed it tasted different this time around. The Pad See Ew was a bit of a letdown too; the noodles were mashed together to the point we couldn't really distinguish between the beef and the noodles. I also had higher hopes for the mango fish, especially compared to similar dishes I've tried elsewhere where the fish was a bit more fried, etc. Service was another issue, we had to ask two to three times just to get our order taken, which made the experience feel a bit disjointed. We also brought up our concerns about the food to the server, but unfortunately received no explanation. Nor a thank you after payment. The service overall didn't quite meet our expectations, felt unwelcoming.

Pad Thai with chicken, 2 stars!

Went to Zab Thai on a recommendation from coworkers. I have to agree with their assessment that this place is top notch. I will definitely try more of the menu later, but I always go with the starter kit Chicken Pad Thai my first time at a restaurant. Really good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My server was great, very clean inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Can't wait to come back!

I definitely need to give South Everett, WA more street cred, especially since they've really been steppin' up their food scene! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Zab Thai Restaurant has great food, welcoming service and a relaxing ambiance, despite how close it is, to Evergreen Way![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cozy into their large booths, with some yummy appetizers, Lamb Curry, Pad Thai and a glass of Tea, then you'll be ready to tackle these cold winter days![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Give them a try and let me know what you end up ordering! #ZabThaiRestaurant #SouthEverettWA #SnohomishCo #ThaiCuisine #Noodles #Curries #Teas #supportlocal #supportsmallbusinesses Follow me on Instagram : @NelzLovesIt

Gluten Free Pad Thai tofu with extra veggies
    Rachel V.

Food was fantastic both times I went. They are able to make almost anything gluten free. Just ask your waiter, they helped me figure out what to order. I ordered the pad Thai and the Pad Kee Mao, both were fantastic. The portions are huge. Easily two meals out of the plates. The fresh rolls were also delicious, and the rice paper wasn't dry at all. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was great, the ambiance was cozy and warm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Real napkins for dining in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely my new go-to Thai location!

Had Thai Chicken and Green Bean

Very friendly service and the portions were spot on and healthy. We stopped in for lunch and both of us had combo plates. Also had 2 Hot teas and the total for all was $40 including tax (before tip). Food was excellent and arrived hot which is really important to me. Ordered 3 out of 5 stars for spice level and my first couple bites seemed hotter than that, but as I kept eating and it mellowed out. I think that the peppers were on top, so I got that heat up front. Was perfect after that, but if in doubt, I suggest to go one star less to make sure. Will come back for sure when wanting Thai food and in this part of town!

I saw really good reviews in Google and it was about 4.2 stars.. lots of parking available. The interiors were looking good... lots of tables to sit and eat.. ambience was good.. service was ok. Slightly pricey than regular Thai restaurant but was ok.. We ordered a vegetarian thai basil, fried rice.. it was spicyyyyyyyyyyyy .. we were actually seeing red chilies flakes on the rice and it was extremely spicy. Thought of calling them and returning it, but it was too late... we picked it just before they closed.. we also ordered a tofu drunken noodle.. noodle was good, but the tofu was really dry... it was ok ok. They had some humongous pieces of tofu which we couldn't eat.... Thai ice tea was good... or on an average experience.. 3/5

I ordered the chicken pad Thai one star, and the chicken paneng curry substitute the bell pepper for potato. I could hear the wok sizzling in the back. My food came out pretty quickly. The pad Thai is amazing, saucy which I love, and you can see little bits of the char from wok. The paneng was good, it was a little bland, almost like it needed more panang curry paste. Also I wish there were more vegetables in it without having to pay extra. My favorites I like to add in is baby corn, carrots and bamboo. There was enough food to last me three meals. They have good Thai food for the area.

I'm assuming she is one of the owners... but she took over and kept him preoccupied while I was able to eat my meal while it was still hot. (Which is a rarity for a mom). So thank you for giving me a great dining experience. Had Pad se ew, pineapple fried rice, massuman curry & crab Rangoons. Pineapple curry was probably the best dish but each dish felt overloaded with oil and very lacking in seasoning/flavor. The curry especially was a let down. It was mostly the most liquid soupy curry I've ever had, very little in terms of substance; meat/veg. The price was good but I don't think we will be returning... I'd rather go to Thai Waterside in Mukilteo and get truly flavorful food.

We started with the pumpkin tempura. It was crispy on the outside, with a naturally sweet pumpkin inside. It was really delicious. It came with a dipping sauce, though the portion felt quite small. The side of lettuce and a chunk of purple cabbage felt a bit odd presentation wise, but once we wrapped everything together and dipped it, it tasted great. For my main, I ordered the vegan herb tofu salad with medium spice. It was mostly fried tofu tossed in a herb dressing with mint, tamarind, and cilantro. The flavor was a mix of sweet, spicy, and tangy. It honestly reminded me a bit of pani puri. That said, the sweetness was a bit overpowering and made the dish slightly sticky. If they toned that down, it would be perfect. We also tried the vegan 17th curry fried rice, which was good. The curry flavor was subtle. My toddler absolutely loved it. Overall, I would recommend this place, especially for vegans. The food was good, with the only downside being that some dishes leaned a bit too sweet for my taste. The service was okay, not exceptional, but not bad either. I had visited this place about three years ago on a busy Friday night and had a pretty poor service experience, so I wanted to give it another shot on a weekday. The food has improved, and the service was decent this time around.
