I have gotten the Pad Thai with tofu few weeks back. It honestly tasted like the sauce was made with ketchup. It wasn't very good. I had to throw it out cause all I taste was just ketchup sauce. I have had this pad thai before and it was good, so I think it was a bad batch. read more

My first time ordering from Thai Valley, I had it delivered by a third party app and there wasn't a thing wrong with the delivery, this is 100% on the restaurant. I ordered Fresh Rolls, Satay, and Stir-Fried Pork Basil Lunch Set, let's get into it: Fresh Rolls: not remotely ok. On their online menu and on the app menu it lists what ingredients are included, which is patently false. Screenshots below. In reality all that's included is not-fresh iceberg lettuce and tofu, the wrapping was very poorly done, with a few rips and tears. I'm not a fan of their peanut sauce, but at that point I still was optimistic. I went back and read reviews for fresh rolls and everyone said the same thing about ingredients, I chalked it up to me not doing enough homework. Satay: I opened the box and there was reddish liquid all over the bottom and it wasn't from the peanut sauce nor cucumber salad, it was from the chicken skewers. The first one I checked had some pink, so those went to the trash. I love Thai cucumber salad, theirs wasn't made today, definitely not fresh. Strike 2. Stir-Fried Pork Basil Lunch Set: I know restaurants are having an impossible time with costs rising at debilitating speed and I usually show some grace with portion sizes but the amount of stir-fried pork was shocking, it appeared like a half portion. I asked for medium spice, got zero spice, which normally would be no biggie because I have condiments. but It was a greasy salty mess, the small portion just meant there was less for me to toss. The egg roll was soggy as all get out, but I'll give that a half pass since it was delivered. The pad Thai was one giant clumped mass of overcooked noodles, also greasy. I know pad Thai takes a lot of oil, but this wasn't an example of regular pad Thai. I couldn't separate forkfuls to dig in, at all came up in one piece on my fork. The rice was meh, but what even mattered anymore. 3 strikes and they're out, deeply disappointed and I can usually find at least some good parts but nope. 1st and last time eating food from Thai Valley. Now I need to make something for lunch since I'm still hungry. read more

Always a favorite but unfortunately the last order will be the last order. Pad Kee Mao with prawns was disappointing, instead of wide egg noodles I got skinny rice noodle. Hardly any vegetables like they used to do. 3 prawns in the dish. Celery was new as I've never had that in the dish along with big chunks of cabbage. Epic failure. Chicken Pad Thai, noodles stick together and very little chicken. No vegetables in it other than a few sprouts. I am always willing to pay decent money for decent food but I doubt I will go back. read more

Understaffed, unclean, overcharged...my friend and I went to lunch and waited almost 40 minutes after we ordered and still no food. We had to get our food to go. They need to hire more staff. There is only one girl working the entire front of the house. When I went to pay, they charged me $2 extra for beef for the BEEF and oyster sauce lunch set. When I pointed it out to the girl, she refused to take it off my check. In addition, there is an awful sewer smell in the women's bathroom and the floor was sticky. Aiiiii, this place does not joke around with the spice level. Came here with a coworker for lunch and overall, left with a full and happy tummy. Located in the plaza of various businesses, there is plenty of free parking. If you're here during the weekday 11-12:30pm lunch rush , just know that parking may be limited due to the influx of nearby Boeing employees and such. Here are some of my highlights: Service: All of the staff are pretty friendly! Prices: Lunch specials are reasonable and overall, not too pricey Food Options: At lunch, you do get a free complimentary soup. The soup was decent and wasn't too bland. As for the food options, Thai Valley has a pretty extensive menu and I highly encouraged exploring beyond the normal lunch combos. If you don't know what to order, go for one of the lunch combos that gives you a little bit of everything. Panang Curry = SO TASTY!!!! Love the flavors and honestly, I would come back and order this again. For me, a level 3 spice level definitely felt more like a level 4. Wife and I have quickly become regulars, great service always and everything we have tried has been excellent. We've been at least 6 times trying new entrees and appetizers each visit and everything has been delicious, high quality, and filling. The price is also surprisingly low for what you get. read more

Service: came here with a group of 7 with reservations for 11am on Thursday. Made the call for RSVP at 10:30am when they opened. The food came quickly, but we hardly got any re-fills on drink! I think everyone only got one re-fill the whole hour we were there. Menu: I ordered off the lunch menu, which had plenty of options for me, and the portions were pretty big! I got lunch cashew chicken which comes with rice and pad Thai! They have a 5 star spicy ranking to choose from, and I got mild. Location: this place is decently sized, but it was getting pretty busy when we went around lunch. I'm guessing this was because it is next to Boeing and there were many team lunches happening before the holiday break. There are a lot of other food options though in the same area, if you stop in and it's too busy. We have eaten here before and enjoyed the food. We stopped in to get food today and they had a bunch of candles burning in the entryway. The smell was so overpowering we couldn't stay for dinner. I am always so surprised when businesses have such strong perfume smells, especially in a food establishment. And not only that most candles are toxic to breathe. We are getting the food to go. I'm hoping that the bags that they put the food in do not smell. Not sure we will be back. read more

We were 5 minutes from where we were working and were late getting back from lunch, not because the food was slow but because once we got our food the server didn't come back, we had to find him. Only gave it less stars because I wanted dine in and she packed my food to go plus after she gave me the food I didn't see her again. I wanted to order some peanut sauce but ended up eating w out it. I decided to stop in here for lunch after my dad recommend to me. I'm glad that I did. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Parking is packed during the lunch hours due to Boeing and other surrounding businesses. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Although Thai Valley was quite busy due to the lunch rush, I was not rushed once while I read my book and enjoyed a leisurely lunch. There are eight lunch combinations to choose from until 3pm daily. The lunch combinations are priced at $9.95 (additional $2 for beef, $2 for prawns or $3 for seafood). The lunch combinations are served with a cup of Hot & Sour Soup, Pad Thai, Crispy Fried Wontons (qty 2), Jasmine rice and entree choice. While deciding which lunch combo I wanted, I ordered a bottle of Singha beer for $3.50. My beer was served with an ice cold glass which I liked. For my lunch I decided on the #2 Chicken Red Curry: basil, chicken breast, bamboo shoots, sweet red pepper, red curry paste and coconut milk. I requested brown rice instead of jasmine rice and was pleasantly surprised to see that I was not up-charged for the brown rice. I requested a 5 for my spiciness level. I was thrilled to taste and feel a spiciness level of 5 in my Chicken Curry as well as in my Pad Thai. The Hot & Sour Soup was tasty and silky in texture. I enjoyed every spoonful. The curry sauce was rich and creamy. I didn't want to stop eating any part of my lunch. Staff was friendly, patient and efficient. Loved this place. My wife and I went out and just picked here. Very slow business. Why I dont know. The waitress was friendly and gave us plenty of time to figure out what we wanted. She was attentive for water service. The place was clean and well kept. Now the food; I am not going to butcher the name but it was #28 (they have a huge menu). I asked for 3 star heat and it was spot on. Noodles were.cooked great. Brocolli cooked perfect. They only thing I would improve on is the chicken was almost shaved. I like my chicken in bigger pieces. DESSERT requires you to get the fried banana with coconut ice cream. OMG that was amazing. We love this place. The family who runs this restaurant are always so nice. We have tried almost everything on the menu and everything is always good. Our usual go-to favorite is the fried pot stickers and the thai fried rice with chicken. The portions are generous and literally some of the best fried rice in the area. We have noticed that sometimes the spicy levels vary a little, but we actually don't mind and enjoy the variety. Happy to recommend this place to all our friends. read more

I only gave the 2 stars for their service, felt bad for the one guy running the show in front, there were about three tables he was servicing just fine. I got the masaman curry, the curry was a water consistency, which I've never had at any Thai place I've ever visited and I've been to Alot. There was maybe 2-3 small pieces of chicken and 2-3 diced potato pieces with a bunch of onion and a little carrot. It was the saddest $16 dinner I've ever seen. This is one of the better Thai restaurants in the north end. I'm going to miss having easy access to it now that I've moved but for all you Thai food lovers in the Everett area, this is probably the best place in Everett. I used to like this place... but no more. Went there last week for Pad Thai 4 stars. Had ZERO spice to it. Also asked for extra "stars" (the sauce kind not the dry kind). I was rudely told NO we don't give those out anymore. I said "really? I was just here yesterday and they did", to which she again rudely doubled down on her NO. Been coming here since they opened and that is why I was surprised at the terrible service. It was busy but it took an hour for half of us to get our food then the other half of it came. I cannot eat spicy food and I always ask for 0 stars. It was at least 2 . I ask red them to take it back they said that it's not spicy it's just pepper. That was a lie. Refused to accommodate me. I had to ask another server. He said that I could get something else but then he said that all there food is spicy. I had them take it back. I haven't had good kao soi since our trip to North Thailand, so this was a nice change. I would definitely recommend it, but get the crunchy noodles on the side because they loose their consistency quickly. Other than that, pretty good service and a some great spices.
