No one in the restaurant at 1130 on a rando Tuesday. Service was great..so was the food. Hung out for an hour after we finished talking. No pressure. Go.
Once again, Charm Gai does an outstanding job. This is my favorite Thai Restaurant in the Seattle area. The food and service are outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Lynnwood, Washington/suburb of Seattle April 2026 This place is conveniently located by the mall. Also my hotel. The restaurant is so extremely clean. You would think it is new. It is in a strip mall. The tables are wooden as are the chairs. The floor is impeccably clean. There are small vases of fresh flowers on every table. The sweet, kind lady behind the counter was so incredibly helpful. She saw us struggling with the menu and came over to help us. I ordered the Phad Kee Mao with chicken. Spice level 2. Lots of veggies. Mushroom, red peppers, tomato, carrots. The chicken was a bit dry, but the overall flavor was fantastic. Next time I would go up a level with spice as I did not think it was very spicy. Service is perfect. Food is very good. Restaurant is sooooo clean. Please check this place out. You will like it.

Came on a weeknight and was seated immediately. We tried three different dishes between the two of us (with lots of leftovers) including beef pad see ew, the special spicy noodles and a tofu green curry with white rice. The pad see ew was really tasty and had good flavor. The spicy noodles were good but not as good as the pad see ew but also packed with flavor. The tofu green curry had a many chunks of delicious fried tofu which I enjoyed, but of note they used regular eggplant (not thai eggplant) and there was no bamboo. Prices were very reasonable for portion size (of note, rice is extra charge on the side for curry) and overall a decent place. Will plan to check out other restaurants in the area but very willing to come back as I was satisfied with my meal.

Located across from H Mart in the Alderwood Mall shopping area. This is in the same building as the Happy Lemon. I ordered the chicken pad see ew at a medium spicyness. The server understood the mission. She brought me out a wonderfully cooked dish where the noodles were cooked just right, not too done, and not too soft & slimy. Great flavor and a generous amount of chicken. I was pleasantly full with the serving size. Lunch prices are very reasonable.
Very friendly and fast service. The Panang Curry was amazing! It had so many layers of flavor and the perfect mouth feel. Also lots of basil. The Drunken Noodles were good, but lacked the layers of flavor that the curry had. The fried tofu was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside with silky, creamy inside.
This is an underrated thai spot in the Alderwood area that doesn't look like much, but will become a favorite once you try the food. I got the chicken phad prik king and the special tom yum noodle which I haven't seen at a lot of thai restaurants. Both dishes were delicious but I must say that the tom yum noodle was definitely my favorite. The broth is absolutely delicious with the right amount of sour and saltiness, and the noodle completes the dish and makes it more filling. The phad prik king was pretty standard, but I definitely wish it was a bit spicier for 3 stars so I may do 4 stars next time. I came on a weekday afternoon so it wasn't that busy. There was only one server but it didn't take too long to get the dishes. However, I could definitely see it being a lot slower with only one or two servers during peak hours so I would keep that in mind. On another note, I really appreciate that their menu is very easy to read, and they put stars next to their recommendations so I don't have to ask. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes in the future.
So graceful to have a job.that takes me to the far ends of the earth--I call.it "adventures in real estate" this "hole in the wall" is actually easy to find - a.little plain inside but.the food is exquisite-you know you can't eat decor-try the Tom. Kha soup with chicken @$14.50 creamy conconut bliss with a slight bite add Phad Kee Mao -a wide noodle sweet soy wonder with beef @$15 then add the Paneng Beef Curry with beef @$16 make.that 2.stars please (insider tip --that's medium hot not medium low) and you have done gone to heaven--you may not finish it but love.the next.day leftovers cheers al
I ordered to go online and it was quick and easy. It was going to be jury 15-20 minutes. I arrived probably within 10 minutes and it was ready so that was really nice. I ordered the Pad Sew Lew with choice of protein - I got beef. And I also got the potstickers to start too. The potstickers were nicely cooked outside and lots of flavor. Came with a dipping sauce. The pad sew lew was great! Good flavors and I liked the big rice noodles. I enjoyed it and cannot wait to come back and try other things!

I stopped by last night for some Pad Thai. I was delighted to see the hours posted after doing there before and told we are closing soon and we can't take your to go order. I vowed never to go back but after a great deal of time passed I decided to give them a shot. My food was pipping hot in temperature which always delights me. The seasoning was very tasty and the spice level I requested was spot on. It was a delicious 5 star meal. With that being said I will definitely stop by again and explore the rest of the menu. Being in the mall outside strip there is definitely plenty of parking. The ambiance is nice and clean. read more
After doing errands at Alderwood Mall, we wanted a meal nearby. Instead of going to our usuals, I did a quick search and found Charm Gai, a Thai restaurant within an easy walking distance. The restaurant is a reasonable size and nicely decorated, not fancy, not divey, either. Service was practical and simple; we didn't need much help, ordering quickly so we can finish eating before closing time. Overall food quality and flavors are homey, approachable, though none had a wow factor. If I live nearby, I would likely eat here regularly. However, I would not purposely drive a distance to dine here. The Food: Chicken Wings, $11.75 - 4 Stars Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, these are tasty though not unique as a Thai dish. Duck Curry, $25.95 - 4 Stars Served in a red curry sauce, this duck curry is tasty and similar to most others we have had. Rice is ordered separately. Spicy Noodles, $17.50 - 4 Stars Rice noodles with chicken, prawns, and veggies, the four stars had a reasonable kick and flavorful. read more

Solid thai spot! Good portions; had leftovers from both dishes. Pad See Ew had a nice charred taste to it. The Mussaman curry does not come with rice so you have to add it. Will never understand why some thai places do this (no rice with curry lol). Got pretty busy Friday dinner time but never a hit maximum capacity with a wait. ~10 ish tables, 80% full. They let me bring in and drink my outside bevvy (happy lemon boba milk tea) so that was nice. Staff was pretty quick, food took a bit longer but nothing out of the ordinary. read more

Believe the previous Yelp reviewers about how good the dishes are at Charm Gai! My 3 year old ask for more Phad Thai twice, while the 1 yr old nibbled away at the rice. The customer service was wonderful, I can tell both ladies really care about their business. Our order was freshly prepared, and loaded with perfectly cooked vegetables! First time here (Wednesday night 6:30ish) only a couple tables were occupied. We ordered crab fried rice, pad see ew chicken, yellow curry chicken, garlic prawns (chicken egg rolls, and Thai ice tea, not pictured) This was enough food for three people. We loved the taste of everything. It was really good. Will go back again, or order take-out. read more
Great family friendly Thai place. I get the pad khee mao which has a lot of flavor (burnt in a good way, sweet, savory) as well as the fried rice. My son gets the chicken satay which is always a hit. They have really cute peppa pig dishes and small cups that are kid sized and accommodate well to families. The place is clean and bright in an unassuming little strip mall. Service is hit or miss hence the four stars - when they get busy they sometimes only have one waitress working. It resulted in our dishes coming out unevenly and me having to go up to the register to get mine after all my family was served. Otherwise service is pretty friendly. Not too long ago, I decided to search for the best Thai restaurant in Lynnwood since it's seemed hard to find a well made Phad Thai. I eventually came across Charm Gai which impressed me. Keep in mind, I'm comparing this place with other Thai restaurants of the same level. So this is not going to be compared to Isarn Thai Soul Kitchen that near it. I started coming here during the pandemic and ordered take out since dine-in wasn't available. With the mask mandate lifted, I was able to dine-in for the very first time. I came in pretty late because they were almost ready to offer take out only and start closing up. I was lucky enough to get a seat and get served. The service was quite good since they refilled my water whenever I needed it. The way I determine a decent Thai restaurant is by basing it on the quality of their Phad Thai dish. This hit the mark! This has been the most flavorful Phad Thai that I have ever found in Lynnwood. I usually get the 5 star spice level and ask for extra chili powder on the side, but this time, it wasn't necessary to get the extra. This was just enough spice for me without taking away the flavor. I was sweating and drinking quite a bit of water which was exactly what I wanted and hoped for. The Phad Thai was saucy which I have found a lot of other places lacked. I like the sauciness a lot. Very flavorful. It had a good amount of meat and veggies. It did not feel like I was just eating only noodles which I have experienced at other Thai restaurants in the area. They had pot stickers here too which I, of course, had to order. This definitely was not pan-fried which I preferred over deep frying potstickers. Deep frying takes away the juices of the meat in the dumpling and I did feel like this was a bit dry. The outside was very crispy though and I do like that. The Larb Gai felt like a large portion which was good. The cabbage was a bit weirdly cut though where I couldn't really use it as a wrap for the meat. It was still quite good and the spice level was not overpowering. Based on the Phad Thai overall, this is very good and that means a lot coming from me cause I'm pretty hard to please beyond my average opinion. If you're looking for fantastic standard Thai food in Lynnwood, this is the spot. It's at a great location by the mall too. read more

Wow, this might be the best Thai food I've ever had and I've visited Thailand 3x. The restaurant is located in an unassuming strip mall. It's very clean with natural lighting and nice decor. I ordered the pad Kee mao chicken. It was perfectly seasoned. Vegetables were crisp. Everything tasted fresh. Prices were very reasonable. I thoroughly enjoyed this place and I'll be back at my next opportunity! 100% recommend. read more
We stopped by for lunch, you can eat inside and and there was only a couple of tables occupied. For drinks we ordered jasmine tea and Thai iced tea, both were good. We also got the Tom yum soup, the broth was not what I expected in other restaurants it comes with the coconut cream, here it was a very sour clear broth, not my favorite but not bad either. Tom kah gai seems closer to what I expected for Tom yum. We also got beef Phad Thai, the noodles were good, but the beef a bit chewy, I'll probably stick with chicken next time. And finally phad kee mao with chicken, this was our preferred dish today the texture of the noodles is great and it has a lot of veggies and overall good flavor. The restaurant looks nice and clean and the service was great too. read more

Ordered the beef salad and red chicken curry. Both pretty awesome and flavorful, I would definitely come back again! Rice is ordered separately for $2 a person. Decor is alright, everything is super clean, not much of an ambiance but it's comfortable. Service is fine, nothing above and beyond but nothing rude, generally friendly. read more
Ok here's the thing...every time I come to Seattle I eat more Thai food than anything because it's just superior up here. It just is. That being said, Charm Gia knocks them all out of the water. The decor is so cute and modern but still very authentic. And I cannot say enough good things about the service. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and from that moment on we were treated like honored guests. Our table tried the calamari, fried spring rolls, Tom kha gai, pad Thai, pad see ew, and spicy noodles. We finished with the sticky rice with mango. When I say that this was one of the best Thai food meals I've ever had, I mean it. It was all on point. The dessert was so beautiful!!! Everything was fresh and full of flavor from the soup to the dishes. We are already planning our next visit. We went last night and may just go ahead and have it again for dinner. I almost got an extra tom kha gai to go because I was thinking I might want it for lunch today. I only get this obsessed when food is phenomenal. Do yourself a favor and get there. Now! read more

This is the first curry that didn't come with a side of rice included. I had to pay an extra two dollars for the small bowl. The flavor for the yellow curry was very good however it was only chicken, potato, and onion unlike other places I have eaten that also have carrots. 3.5 stars read more

This place is great. They make the online ordering super easy and got the food done in about 15 minutes. I got the crab fried rice which was super well balanced and delicate due to the crab meet and flaky rice with egg. However, the bbq marinated chicken meat was what blew me away. This place is bomb! If I were to recommend a type of dish here, it's the curry. Very flavorful. I've been here a few times and have gotten the beef salad and pad see Ew - both were good but not great I would say. But again the curries here are really delicious. The service was also pretty good and quick to. Looking forward to coming back. read more
