I saw really good reviews in Google and it was about 4.2 stars.. lots of parking available. The interiors were looking good... lots of tables to sit and eat.. ambience was good.. service was ok. Slightly pricey than regular Thai restaurant but was ok.. We ordered a vegetarian thai basil, fried rice.. it was spicyyyyyyyyyyyy .. we were actually seeing red chilies flakes on the rice and it was extremely spicy. Thought of calling them and returning it, but it was too late... we picked it just before they closed.. we also ordered a tofu drunken noodle.. noodle was good, but the tofu was really dry... it was ok ok. We've been to this restaurant before and have always had great food and kind service, so today was a disappointing surprise. When we arrived, we were seated and I asked our server for a high chair for our toddler. Instead of bringing one, he told me to get it myself. I've never had that happen at a restaurant before. The high chairs were behind a heater, so it was awkward to reach and I had to manage it myself. We also didn't receive menus for several minutes. We ordered summer fresh rolls with tofu, egg fried rice, and chow mein with tofu (3 star spice). Food was served by a different gentleman who was very nice and brought plates, etc. The chow mein had no spice at all. We waited for our server to check in so we could request spicy sauce, but he never came back to our table. Our table was in the middle of the room, and we watched him check on other tables but not ours. Eventually my husband had to go to the counter to get chili oil. At one point my fork fell on the floor and again, no one came by so I could get another. When we left, there was no thank you or goodbye. In the past, the staff has always been Asian and has been consistently attentive and welcoming. This time our server was the only non-Asian staff member we've seen here and seemed unfamiliar with the restaurant's usual level of service. Unfortunately, we felt overlooked the entire time, which was the opposite of our past experiences. The food is still good, but the service today was unpleasant enough that we won't be returning. I was working in Snohomish for the week and with the rainy chilly weather, Thai food sound delicious. I came in during lunch and the place only had another customer in there. I ordered the chicken pad Thai one star, and the chicken paneng curry substitute the bell pepper for potato. I could hear the wok sizzling in the back. My food came out pretty quickly. The pad Thai is amazing, saucy which I love, and you can see little bits of the char from wok. The paneng was good, it was a little bland, almost like it needed more panang curry paste. Also I wish there were more vegetables in it without having to pay extra. My favorites I like to add in is baby corn, carrots and bamboo. There was enough food to last me three meals. More of a modern style and doesn't have the decorations you see in a lot of Thai restaurants. Menu is pretty standard North American Thai menu, has your noodles, curries, fried rice etc. You can choose your spice level 1-5. I got the Penang curry with beef spice level 2. The curry comes with a bowl of white rice. The curry was pretty creamy and a little sweet, and the beef was tender. Tasted pretty good with the rice. Spice level 2 has some heat but not too bad. Also tried the wide noodle dish my friend ordered. It was decent as well. At spice level 3 I can definitely feel the heat. Maybe they didn't mix it all the way as there was one bite that was a lot spicier than the others. Total bill was low $40s with tax and tip, which about what I expected. read more

Of the three, fried rice was the best, then the black pepper beef. The prices were reasonable (at least in this economy). We would definitely visit this place again if we are around. Don't order the curry. This place has parking & tables galore. The wait staff are prompt, courteous & polite. Presentation is great. But the food is...overpriced & disappointing. The picture is RED curry. Very little red curry paste. Freezer burned chicken & not much of it. Had a bowl of curry soup after the meal was eaten. Pad Kee Mao ("drunken noodles") had FIVE slices of tomato (traditionally Pad Kee Mao has 1 slice, if that). Deep fried pot stickers, VERY little filling (although in fairness they were well cooked). I suspect the owners are skimping because food costs & wages are so high right now. Sip Thai is better, even the one in Kirkland thst has the turned up too high. read more

Thai Clearview is a hidden gem in a strip mall in Snohomish/Clearview. The decor is modern and works well for family dinner but also a casual date night. The service is incredibly friendly and you can hear the auntie working that wok from the kitchen. I had the crispy pork belly fried rice and the pad see ew. Both dishes had the aroma of "wok hei" that you can't duplicate without high heat and adds a nice smoky touch to the food. The pork belly fried rice is definitely a specialty of the house. The skin is shattering crispy and tender and the green beans and bell peppers balance out the richness of the pork. Pad see ew was well seasoned and the noodles cooked perfectly as to not get gummy. The portions are generous, two dishes could easily feed three people. I'm not sure if I'll be back up this way soon but if I am, I'll be sure to stop by to try their boat noodles. read more

Wow this was definitely one of the best Thai shops I've had in Washington. The service was so nice and the ambiance was bright and classy. It is next to a Safeway so it doesn't seem like it's much but definitely come eat here for some delicious Thai food. The pad Thai was so flavorful and delicious. We went during lunch and it was only half full. The food is better than any Thai restaurants in Bothell or Woodinville but I found it to be a little on the sweeter side. Their spicy level is also suitable for an American pallet. We got 4 stars and it was more like 2 stars Thai heat. Have dined in, which we all really enjoyed cuz the restaurant is clean and decorated in a cozy but stylish way, IMO. Also, and much more importantly, the staff were so nice and attentive. My family love Thai food and when we heard of a new place close to home we had to try it out. Walking into the restaurant it is nicely spaced out and decorated. The staff greeted us warmly as well. We quickly settled in, browsed the menu and ordered: 1) Gyoza - the kids really wanted some. Tasty. It was likely the same filling for their spring rolls. Glass noodles and carrots. 2) Crying tiger - this was pretty good. The steak was hot and tender served over a bed of lettuce. I wish they had some smaller cut up lettuce for you eat the steak with. They cooked it well done and was surprised they didn't ask us how we wanted the steak cooked. 3) Garlic chicken - this was really good. Simple thai food and the kids loved it as well. 4) Massaman Curry (pork) - this was really good. The pork was so tender and the curry was not too spicy. I only wish it had a little more potatoes and carrots (our bowl only had 1 carrot). 5) Pad See Eiw - this was good. Pretty standard. Nothing to wing the title best pad see eiw. 6) That Famous Chicken - this was really good. Sweet/savory with the fried basil. What is there not to like! 7) Coconut ice cream. Who doesn't like a nice bowl of coconut ice cream to share after the meal. One thing to note is they serve it on top of roasted peanuts so if you have don't like peanuts beware. We liked the contrast of the peanut and the coconut. Overall the meal was great and the service was friendly and we will be back. I would highly reccomend this authentic thai gem. read more

FINALLY! Thai food close to home...and not just Thai food, but DELICIOUS Thai food! No, it's not all equal, at least to our family!. We placed an order of the Thai Clearview Platter (Crab Delight, Tofu Delight, Spring Rolls, Gyoza), Crab Fried Rice, Duck Curry, and Pad Kee Mao. Everything was delicious and transported well (we got takeout as we have one non-Thai food lover). Full of flavor and great portion sizes have us recommending Thai Clearview Stop. So many of the "Chef's Favorite" sounded delicious...plus all the typical fare offered at a Thai restaurant...making it hard to choose what to get! Now the hard part will be mixing up our orders each time to explore as much of this great menu as possible! Location is GREAT as it's in the heart of Clearview just south of Safeway. Parking is not an issue as it's a strip mall. It's super clean and bright inside and minimalist. In time it would be nice to see more tables, but I think this will be determined by the dining patterns of its patrons (take-out vs. dine-in). We were so happy to hear Thai Clearview Stop has opened and have sent friends in before we went ourselves! I've personally been watching for this opening since learning earlier this year Clearview would be getting a Thai restaurant. They will definitely be getting repeat business from our family! Finally, something other fast food in our area! This place is brand new so we'll forgive the slightly slow service. As a starter we chose the Thai Clearview Platter that included crab delight, fried tofu, spring rolls, and gyoza so we could get a little taste of the appetizer menu. I think next time I might choose something without the tofu but I have to say my guy ate it without complaint and he has the palate of an 8-year old, so there's that. We also ordered pad thai with fried tofu and it was pretty darn good! We asked for one star because we are total wimps and it had a little too much bite at first, but we got used to it quickly. I noticed that there were no peanuts on top so that was a little disappointing. We shared a lunch serving and it worked well for us. The interior is simple and beautiful. The tables are spread out but you can still easily hear other people's conversations because the space feels a little cavernous right now. I'm not sure how else they could arrange things, but maybe some room dividers would be helpful. Lastly, it's a bit pricey if you eat in. We spent $40 for lunch with tip and split two items. I think we'll return with a take-out order next time. We're looking forward to making our way through the menu to see what other delights might become our favorites. read more
