Since my last visit, I decided to give this place another try. I was quite happy. The owners must be taking feedback seriously. Although the prices are still a bit high, the food quality has improved noticeably. The atmosphere is still great. The service, however, is still a bit lacking. It took 15 minutes to get a beer. The server was quite pleasant. Perhaps just busy. At any rate, I'm happy that things have improved with the food here. read more

Lovely setting . A good and varied menu . Food was good but nothing special and we didn't have intestinal issues the next day so THAT'S a good sign . Server seemed to have bug up her butt and we were very kind and patient , giving her the opportunity to smile and be more engaging but didn't work . Had to request more water ( and it was very hot and humid ) , never asked if we wanted drink refills ... We had an amazing dinner tonight at Terrazza. My wife had chicken and broccoli Alfredo and said it was delicious. I had a meat ravioli and meat sauce. Very good meat sauce. Our server Marina was attentive and knew the menu completely answering all the questions about the individual choices. It was a gorgeous evening and we opted for outdoor seating. Great choice as we watched the sunset over the hills to the west. When we return to Greenfield Massachusetts, we will definitely be back for dinner. read more

A solid italian place you can go to in confidence. The service is nice, there's room to come with your family (including seniors) and the prices won't break your wallet. While we like our carbonara another way (a lot of cream in theirs), it was worth trying. My eggplant was excellent and my guests enjoyed this break on our way to Vermont. Lotta food to pick from. Very good. Good service. Very nice staff and owner. Nice views from the deck if you're eating outside overlooking the golf course. Watch people playing golf and putting on the green. Lovely and casual inside as well. There is a bar that doesn't interfere with the rest of the dining room. Smart TVs. I paid 50 bucks for a steak with 2 scallops. The scallops were way undercooked and the steak and mashed potatoes were extremely underseasoned. I had to load it all with salt. It was horrible! The steak was covered with raw garlic slices. I will never come back! read more

34 soaking wet gardeners arrived at Terrazza fro lunch. We had planned our meals ahead of time with the restaurant. They went out of their way to make us welcome, serving us coffee immediately to warm us up. Everyone loved their lunches and the service could not have been better, Thank you Terrazza. My daughter, wife and I had our first restaurant Thanksgiving meal ever. The wife enjoyed her turkey dinner very much . The sausage stuffing was excellent. My daughter and I went with prime rib. Both of our ribs were delicious. She managed to get an end cut. The green beans and carrots were rather bland but the roasted potatoes were good. The service was very good. The banquet-style side salads were fine, and were honestly the best part of the meal. The Gnocchi Romano was inedible: the pasta was so gluey and soft that it completely 'mushed' when trying to pick it up with a fork. The ravioli was overcooked, so the pasta texture was soft, and the filling was bland and thin. The marinara was fine. The complimentary garlic knots tasted stale. I would have been happier cooking boxed gnocchi or ravioli at home with a nice jar of sauce. read more

Had a delicious dinner celebrating birthdays and anniversaries last night. One of the better meals we've had at Terrazza. Unfortunately, a very loud group seated and standing at and around the bar made it incredibly difficult to talk to each other...despite being as far away from them as you could be in the space. Our server tried to intervene and was told 'because they are members, they think they own the place' and they continued to make enjoying our dining experience a challenge. We spent a bit of $$ on a yummy meal, but the overall experience was sufficiently disruptive to make us rethink future dining. Very unfortunate. read more

I ordered the baked portabella mushroom appetizer, what a mistake - the mushrooms were soaked with vinegar, and sitting in a pool of vinegar - it was so disappointing. Then I tried a piece of bread, it looked promising (grated Parmesan on top), unfortunately it tasted like it was left over from the day before. My mother in law ordered the stuffed mushrooms with crabmeat - no crab. read more

I've been here a couple of times for advent's, a company Christmas party, and a reception after a funeral. The banquet hall is a really good size, with its own separate bar. The decor in at least that room is a bit dated. But has a beautiful view of the mountains. The food for both events where served buffet style. And the food was delicious. We were in Greenfield for just 1 night for a concert and had an amazing dinner here. We were seated at 6 and had 3 courses and were done eating by 6:45! The food came out so quickly! The server was very attentive and visited our table many times to refill water and check in. We both had a Shamrock martini that was delicious. They brought over 4 warm. giant garlic knots dripping with butter and parmesan cheese that were outstanding! Salad also came with the meal. Our dinner portions were very large and absolutely delicious! I had pesto chicken over risotto and my friend had an eggplant pasta fish and both were outstanding and we had enough leftover to take home to another meal. I was curious about this place given all the 5 star reviews so we embarked on an hour drive to try it out. In the end I'm also giving it 5 stars but would have picked 4.5 if I could have. Terrazza is in a country club clubhouse with nice views of the golf course and surrounding area. We happened to sit outside which was nice on a late August afternoon. Our arrival was a bit awkward, as we walked in the door a loud and foul mouthed guy was walking from the pro shop into the bar which crosses in front of the hostess station. I believe the hostess read the situation correctly and directed us toward outside seating away from the bar. (Tip for management - that drunk guy at the bar may be a good customer but it's a really bad first impression). As I said we sat outside, very nice seating area under large overhang roof so even late afternoon sun was not too much to deal with. I will upload some photos showing the view. Dinner consisted of 3 glasses of wine, a shared appetizer, 2 salads, 2 pasta entrees, 2 coffees and a shaded desert - $75 with tip which seems reasonable to me. The food was very good, not just good for Greenfield but good for anywhere. Couple of comments regarding the food: * The house salad dressing is a creamy italian with a slight orange tint. I don't know if it was made in house or not but if it was they should bottle it and sell it. * I had baked ziti. It was good but might have been more interesting if there were some ground sausage or similar mixed in or perhaps a protein on the side. Not a complaint, I was just craving a little meat with all the pasta. * For desert we had tiramisu, it was good. * Coffee was fresh and tasty. Couple of comments regarding things other than food: * The wait staff are excellent. * The noisy bar patron was a bit disturbing, I hope that is not a regular occurrence because it will hurt business. * It's a million dollar view, I can't wait to visit during fall foliage season. * There was a table of what I'm assuming were kitchen staff eating outside. They were a bit loud. It didn't bother me but may bother others so if staff are eating their meal, everyone has to eat, I'd keep the noise down a bit. All in all a great place in a beautiful setting, I will return. read more

Just tried takeout here for the first time and I'm not sure if I'd come back. Not even a trace of blue cheese on my Black and Blue burger. Fries were about as soggy as it gets. No 20% cash discount as advertised on the bill. My girlfriends Salmon wasn't bad but in my opinion the bad outweighs the good. Did the 4 for $20 last night. The food was excellent. There was a group of us that went. The waitress was great. Service was quick. Would definitely go back. Very accommodating on making special requests for how you want your food. The only thing that was a minus is having to sit by the fireplace. It was way too warm. read more

We were there recently for a reception following a funeral, expecting 100 or more people. When we arrived the room was set up beautifully with tables for seating as well as high top tables for people to set drinks on and visit. The buffet we ordered was set up with hot and cold appetizers, replenished throughout the reception. Everything was delicious. The full bar was available in this room and I happened to order a beer that was not available in the reception room but the bartender was happy to go out to the front bar and get me the brand I ordered. When we were finished. The staff packaged up all the leftover appetizers and bagged them for us to take home. I would highly recommend this for a gathering, large or small, for any occasion. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Greenfield! We always get the scallop and calamari appetizers because they are so yummy! The wait staff are always welcoming and attentive to our table too! Not too many options for a "nice" dinner in Greenfield, so I've been here several times when visiting family in the area. The golf course is located conveniently off Route 91. Food, drinks, and service are consistently very good. The guy in charge seems always to be there and greets many patrons like old friends. I'm sure that's one reason locals keep coming back. There is a big problem, though, not mentioned in most reviews here. Unless you are sitting outside, the noise in the restaurant is deafening. The space is essentially one huge room with a wall of windows and a ceiling open to the roof. There's a bar in one corner, usually filled with golfers and their friends, and a lounge area with a fireplace and soft chairs in another corner. Terrazza has also apparently become a de facto after work gathering place where lots of people know lots of other people, and, believe me, these people are loud! The remaining half of the room is the dining area where you find yourself screaming at your tablemates in order to be heard, and that compounds the problem. We go for the food, and don't linger before or after we order, the racket is that bad. Try to be seated outside if weather permits, otherwise focus of the food. read more

Went here after our daughter's graduation. Food was very good but service was lousy. Since it was a Sunday afternoon (but a little rainy) the waitresses were busy catering to the golfers who are probably their regulars. Kinda disappointing since we were a party of nine. They food is very expensive in my opinion. The food is pretty basic. I got two piece of chicken (which were extremely flat) and veggies (unfortunately slathered in butter). If you like wine and pasta dishes this place maybe for you. However, I don't think the food is worth the price you'll pay. read more
