Great local spot with a rustic dinner feel, and great food to go along with it! From the breakfast to the lunch, all the food is cooked to order perfectly. There's a frequent rotation to a series of creative and tasty specials that have never disappointed. My favorite thing on the menu has to be the 3 Egg Hobo Omelet...but make sure to bring your appetite. The atmosphere is flush with local color as there are so many regulars that are there on a daily basis. They also have a full liquor license so if you want to enjoy a boozy breakfast/brunch they have what you need. Whenever I'm traveling through the area I make sure to stop in and enjoy that homestyle cooking of Spruce's Corner. The owner Jerry is a an absolute legend.

This burger almost didn't make the photo. Perfectly cooked swiss mushroom burger wirh crispy fries. Done right!!!

My new go-to place in the Goshen/Ashfield area (getting tired of Elmer's passive/aggressive 'tude, inconsistent quality, and long wait for the food)

I'll start off by saying that the staff was very nice. I told them it was our first time there and she sat us down, told us to look over the menu and then order at the counter when we were ready. We ended up sharing the breakfast monster crepe and also the eat your greens salad. I can honestly tell you that the eat your greens salad was one of the best salads I've had. its so simple but so delicious and packed full of flavor. The lettuce leaves were extremely fresh, and the dressing was homemade. The crepe was also good, not the best I've had but it was good. Honestly the winer for me was that salad. We also ordered some hot drinks and I was surprised to find that they have organic coffee, really good. and their honey is legit, not the fake stuff. I know some of the other reviews were complaining about the pricing on things but its obviously better quality as well. You can taste it for sure. I will say that the one thing I didn't like was the fact that the tables/chairs are so close together. We were sandwiched in between two families with children and it was really hard to relax. We had to listen to one family complain about not having gotten their crepe yet even though everyone else had gotten their food. I felt that if I even inched either to my right or left I would hit the person sitting on the other end. They need to configure the seating better. Otherwise, it's a great place, I'd definitely come back and maybe sit at a counter or a booth if I'm lucky.

Something about the building is familiar. An old McDonald's building, painted & reimagined. But the shape, the floors match the McDonald's from the memory of your youth. They've upgraded the vibe to be "upscale fast food", comfortable & chic booths, a beautiful fireplace I'd love to cozy up near in the winter, a stunning bathroom. The menu is calculated, purposeful: local ingredients from farms & local suppliers listed on a chalkboard, seasonal elements utilized to create fresh, mindful meals. There's a burger, a chicken sandwich, mushroom melt, steak, seasonal salads. Their burger is juicy, well-structured, perfectly seasoned. Their tallow fries are the perfect amount of crisp and fluffy interior, truly delicious--a hand cut fry that fast food could nevahhhh accomplish. We loved the grilled peach, heirloom tomato & burrata salad. It was fresh, drizzled with balsamic and oil, peppered with togarishi. There were three workers there: all of whom greeted us warmly, made us feel like family. You can watch the chef, Nate, whipping up your food right behind the counter, locked in and serious about providing you with a supreme experience. Austin, one of the owners, rolled out the dough used for the fresh buns. We witnessed the makings of our meal, every step, right in front of our eyes. My only complaint is I don't live in millerton, and I know I will crave this meal time and time again. I wish I could be right down the road, when a burger craving consumes me. But trust that I will be back to visit & to try their other seasonal options, as well as breakfast and dinner. Thank you team for a wonderful experience!
