No pancakes here but there are both sweet and savory crepes hence the restaurants name. We ordered a variety of food for the 6 in our party and everyone was happy. We had French toast, a burger, a burrito, a crepe, drinks. You have to order at the counter but they deliver to your table. Fun vibe inside. Close to UMass Amherst.

Great for a breakfast date. Great option for staying local. Staff was friendly and space was very open. Definitely family friendly.

Had lunch here with friends for the first time and we were very impressed. The decor is nice, the restaurant is clean and the staff were helpful and friendly! We ordered 3 different crepe sandwiches. A chicken bacon ranch, a bbq pork, a Cubano and a blueberry/lemon curd with coconut. They were all delicious and done perfectly. I don't think they could do anything better.

I see allot of these restaurants popping up in the area--restaurants posing as luxury upscale, but only really in price. Ohh, they have crepes instead of toast--let's jack up the price--it's upscale now. The Hadley location has a nice, quiet atmosphere for dining in. The staff is very nice, the food is fresh, and they have real maple syrup for the crepes. The price and portion size is what I liked least. I got the Noah's ark, which sounds like it should be a pretty epic breakfast special, but when I actually received my plate there was barely any food on it. I think the addition of some hash browns on that plate would have made me feel better.

Came across this spot for breakfast, a small place with a DIY vibe. The menu has a healthier direction with crepes being a centerpiece. My breakfast burrito was served on a crepe rather than tortilla, which also came with a side of salad. The burrito itself was good sized and filled with fresh ingredients. The staff were all very nice and accommodating, service was prompt and as ordered. No complaints, I would like to try it again.

I visited with my daughter on a quiet Thursday afternoon. We walked in and up to the counter to look at the the menu. Staff were friendly and helpful. You order at the counter and they will bring the food to your table and clean up when you are done. We ordered the smash burger with fries, chicken Caesar Wrap, Heartbreaker Crepe, and a chocolate shake. The Smash burger was great. I loved that the burger was not overly giant and it was very flavorful. They did not skimp on the sauce which I really appreciated! One of the best burgers I've had in a long time! I am really picky about fries and these were excellent. Next the Chicken Caesar Wrap. It was wrapped in a crepe instead of a tortilla. At first I was worried it might get soggy and fall apart as wraps often do, but it did not at all! I absolutely loved it. The salad inside was packed with fresh crisp lettuce, flavorful chicken, plenty of Parmesan, and some croutons. It was a pretty epic wrap! I also loved the side of pasta salad with fresh herbs. The heartbreaker was delicious! A sweet crepe with chocolate, strawberries and banana. We cleaned the plate! As for the chocolate shake, I can't review because my daughter had gulped it down before I could get a sip! So I'm guessing it was that good! Thanks for a great meal-we look forward to returning

i have been to 3 of the skinny pancake locations and they have been consistent in delivery of amazing crepes- specifically, the apples and brie crepe with blueberry compote is my favorite- so flavorful with the soft ripeness of brie cheese alongside the crunchy small sliced apple bits and warm blueberry sweetness...the perfect combination! chocomonkey was also yummy for a nice dessert/sweet treat! i'm not sure i would order again though because of the limited chocolate hazelnut filling inside. my fiancée ordered the burger and said it tasted like charcoal. i tasted the burger as well and it was completely dry. the fries on the other hand were nice and crispy and paired quite well with the side of chipotle sauce. we ordered ahead and the bag was ready for pick up in a timely manner- with that said, i did not have any direct interactions with the staff as we ordered online. it is a tighter space so we decided to take our food to go!

I had a great experience at The Skinny Pancake! The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and amazing flavors. The atmosphere has a cool, laid-back vibe that makes it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Highly recommend! You do need to order at counter and seat yourself. Friendly delivery of your food and fast clean up. If you want additional items you will need to revisit the counter.

It's a nice environment. The feel is cozy and its smells nice. I was disappointed with the food and coffee though. The gluten free pancakes were supposed to be sweetened with cinnamon and sugar but they were thick, pasty and very plain with a dash of powdered sugar on top. The scrambled eggs were both blackened and still wet and a $15 breakfast with bacon came with 2 thin slices. The latte was 50% foam and $5. Overall we paid $54 and left hungry. No one checked on us once food was dropped and the servers were busy enough to not make eye contact so we could not pass feedback along in person. Sad to say we really don't ever expect to go back.

Amco is an excellent cafe/bar that I would recommend to almost anyone…read more I've been coming here for around three years now. The atmosphere is excellent: lots of natural light, brick walls, plants, light woods, stainless steel. Sound travels softly, so other conversations rarely interrupt your own thoughts or discussions. Music is usually low-volume and unobtrusive. The coffee is high quality. Baristas steam milk properly, pull good espresso, and clearly know their craft. My fiancé is a tea nerd and admits their selection and brew process are both superb. Pastries are good, though not something I actively seek out. Their original cocktails are inventive while still accessible, and they'll happily make most classics at market price. Beer on tap is local and consistently solid. Prices are certainly on the higher side, especially for coffee drinks and original cocktails. That said, I've never felt cheated by what I received. Still, there are occasional moments where friends look down at an iced latte and do a double take at the money that just left their bank account Their Service is great in my opinion. I've had the pleasure of becoming a regular for some of the evening crew. I couldn't find anything to comment on, they are attentive, patient, and clearly enjoy their craft. And watching them work is inspiring during some rushes. I like to try to get work done here, but it's not the most accessible place for that, and I imagine that's partly on purpose. Regardless of time of day or day of week, there is no guest WiFi; I'm unsure if it's a logistic issue, as I know their own POS WiFi is finicky at times, or perhaps they simply don't want to provide it. Nevertheless, if you want to work online, you will need to have a hotspot or equivalent. There aren't many wall outlets, so ensure your devices are charged if you want to camp. But that's okay! At its core, Amco feels more like a gathering space than a work cafe: somewhere to converse, debate, celebrate, drink good coffee or cocktails, and spend time with people. It's also a great place to bring a physical book, journal, or board game. The nights can be unpredictable in the best way. Sometimes there's live jazz, sometimes a special event takes over half the bar, and sometimes it's nearly empty and you end up having an excellent conversation with the bartender about this or that. Either way I'm always satisfied, and I imagine you would be too.

However, I ordered a hot chocolate - it's literally just milk and powdered chocolate. Paid $4 for it. And there's no wifi and like one outlet. So basically, solid vibes but little functionality.

What a great find in downtown Amherst! While on a short trip to the area, I wanted to find a solid…read morecafe that had good coffee, gluten/dairy free food options, and a comfortable space to chill and do some work. Share Coffee in Amherst ticked every single box and made for a very welcome haven on a gloomy fall weekend. Just a few minutes' walk from Amherst College, the first floor of a house had been deftly converted into a spacious cafe with so many types of seating, I probably annoyed several people by trying one seat, then the next. I ended up perching on a stool at the window for the first part of my cafe time, then moving to one of the smaller table for lunch and more writing. There was quite a bit of natural light from the wide windows for such a gray day. The rest of the space was still well-lit yet not glaringly so. It was clearly a place where people came to work or meet friends (fast wifi! outlets galore!), yet even during the busiest times, it never felt overcrowded or got too loud. The barista and staff were all super friendly. I started off with an almond milk cappuccino, which was a bit darker of a roast but still smooth. Share roasts their own beans over in Hadley. Once the hunger pangs set in, I went back for a turkey avocado sandwich and was able to make it gluten and dairy free with ease. Although the menu says gluten free tortillas, it came on GF bread and was accompanied by a side salad. The sandwich was a bit messy (the bread wasn't the most robust), yet simple and satisfying, and the salad was super fresh. That vinaigrette! So good. It's from (or made with the recipe from) Lady Killigrew Cafe over at the wondrous Montague Book Mill. I also picked up a chai latte for additional afternoon fuel. They make their own concentrate that can be sweetened with honey or not, something I really appreciate in the sea of incredibly sweet chai out there. I got mine slightly sweetened, and it was deliciously spicy (gingery?) and not very sweet, which is what I ultimately prefer. The person at the counter also happily answered my questions about the baked goods. While they do have a couple gluten free options, the GF muffins contain dairy and the energy balls have peanuts. If I lived in Central Mass, Share Coffee would be my go-to shop. I'll be back!

For a café with more serving space than cooking space, you'd think they couldn't pack a punch, but…read morethey do. The café here, West Street Coffee & Tea, uses their square footage to pack a few tables, and a bookshelf or two with possibly the proprietor's gifted collection for customers to read. The West Street Coffee & Tea helps you feel at home stopping in for some coffee, a selection of a quick breakfast sandwich, a pastry from the bakery across the parking lot, or some other treat. I have enjoyed a quality and consistency of service, not only filling out punches on my loyalty card, but appreciating both my drinks and my meal. The kitchen staff has served me quickly when they are not my talented cashier and barista as well--though do consider this a compliment worth tipping the staff for their ability to know how to run a café in part or in whole. The West Street Coffee & Tea boasts a humble parking lot, but the sizable line of parking spaces allows cars to park and then usually drive forward to depart. This fits that the five to six tables are set well in each of the rooms they rest, with ample light from the interior and exterior. I could imagine the drink staff would keep up with a variety of orders that are park and departing, so be mindful that there is parking at other corners of the plaza rotary on busy hours like at other restaurants within Amherst. Busses do travel by, and I'd suppose those from the PVTA that go between Amherst and Hampshire might even stop here. For a quite accessible location, I can only imagine they enjoy being a secret delight of this area of south and east Amherst.
