Cute spot right up the street from one of hubby's favorite Kraft Beer spots--Tree House. Delicious pastries and breakfast sandwiches as well as tasty coffee options. My favorite was the coconut macaroons of all the treats I sampled but they were all delicious.

Do not let the outside of this place fool you, when you drive by you may think to yourself "I'm not sure about this place" as I did but, a friend really wanted to try it so we went in. It is really nice inside with huge windows with a great view of the countryside. It is being renovated so the inside is all new. The food is all fresh and they have fresh bagels and great drink choices. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made my egg exactly as I ordered it. I got the Phoenix. It is an egg and cheese bagel with a homemade jalapeno cream cheese and I chose the asiago bagel. I also got the peppermint mocha hot cocoa. It was the best egg sandwich I've had. The cream cheese is what makes it different then other egg sandwiches. Put this place on your bucket list. On a side note, the bathroom's are the cleanest I've ever seen.

Stopped in a few times since they opened for delicious pastries and coffee, today I got to have a breakfast sandwich. Bacon, eggs and cheddar on a Portuguese muffin was a perfect way to start the day along with a cup of their awesome coffee. I'm excited to try a lunch sandwich next time I stop in, but the fresh baked cookies and coffee cakes will probably always be my favorite. So great to see a scratch bakery in the area with so much selection and such an amazingly friendly staff Bittersweet Bakery and Cafe is bound to be one of the best breakfast, lunch and bakery options in Western Mass.

Lemon perfection *not sure of correct name haha

It's based on service/quality and is EARNED.. every place that I've gone where gratuity is automatically added The service has been terrible however, when I've eaten that places where that doesn't happen, service is great because people know they have to work for their tips. I walked in a little after they opened. Nobody was there in terms of customers... I wasn't greeted. I sat at the counter. The staff continued to just chat. I felt like the staff had no interest in having a customer. I had to go over get a menu. I was looking at it. They looked at me as I was reading said menu never offering a coffee nothing I waited about 10 minutes and then I walked out put the menu back and said I gotta go. I consider myself very knowledgeable about the restaurant industry as my family has been in it for over 50 years and I have worked in it for 30 years

Leo's seems to always be busy, and sometimes there are no available tables. So many people make it quite noisy, and on top of that, the din from the kitchen is overwhelming. It sounds like they are literally throwing the dishes and pots as hard as they can into metal sinks! Not a peaceful place to eat and converse.

The people were friendly and pleasant Terrific corned beef hash in particular. But my bill came to $28 with no tax in a place where you go order, get your silverware, pour your own coffee, bus your table, so not full serve. Not that it's an issue at all, but I wanted to give an accurate description. So why 3 stars? Maybe it's me. Maybe I'm just a crotchety almost old man, but $28 seems to be exorbitant without tip. If I'm wrong then It should be four stars.

Hash was homemade and outstanding! Extra crispy and flavorful. Biscuits were homemade buttermilk and about as good as homemade buttermilk biscuits can get. My husband had coffee which he said was very good (which is high praise from him). I had a small hot chocolate. Do yourself a favor, if you get the hot chocolate, make it a large. Hands down the best I've ever tasted. Light, frothy and Ghirardelli chocolate, need I say more? We saw the pancakes and they are dinner plate sized. The place is unassuming and comfortable, games to play at your table to keep the kids busy. Local artwork for sale. The owner was at the register and he shared the story of how the place came to be. Ask if you meet him, pretty cool and I'm glad they survived their first year. You order at the register and they bring the food to your table. Def stop if you are in the area. We love supporting small business.
