Cinnamon roll, delicious coconut macaroons, cheesecake, snickerdoodle cookie

Cute spot right up the street from one of hubby's favorite Kraft Beer spots--Tree House. Delicious pastries and breakfast sandwiches as well as tasty coffee options. My favorite was the coconut macaroons of all the treats I sampled but they were all delicious.

Do not let the outside of this place fool you, when you drive by you may think to yourself "I'm not sure about this place" as I did but, a friend really wanted to try it so we went in. It is really nice inside with huge windows with a great view of the countryside. It is being renovated so the inside is all new. The food is all fresh and they have fresh bagels and great drink choices. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made my egg exactly as I ordered it. I got the Phoenix. It is an egg and cheese bagel with a homemade jalapeno cream cheese and I chose the asiago bagel. I also got the peppermint mocha hot cocoa. It was the best egg sandwich I've had. The cream cheese is what makes it different then other egg sandwiches. Put this place on your bucket list. On a side note, the bathroom's are the cleanest I've ever seen.

Stopped in a few times since they opened for delicious pastries and coffee, today I got to have a breakfast sandwich. Bacon, eggs and cheddar on a Portuguese muffin was a perfect way to start the day along with a cup of their awesome coffee. I'm excited to try a lunch sandwich next time I stop in, but the fresh baked cookies and coffee cakes will probably always be my favorite. So great to see a scratch bakery in the area with so much selection and such an amazingly friendly staff Bittersweet Bakery and Cafe is bound to be one of the best breakfast, lunch and bakery options in Western Mass.

Lemon perfection *not sure of correct name haha

Bittersweet Bakery has amazing blueberry coffee cakes and Oreo stuffed cookies. Having the best coffee in town doesn't hurt either!

The people were friendly and pleasant Terrific corned beef hash in particular. But my bill came to $28 with no tax in a place where you go order, get your silverware, pour your own coffee, bus your table, so not full serve. Not that it's an issue at all, but I wanted to give an accurate description. So why 3 stars? Maybe it's me. Maybe I'm just a crotchety almost old man, but $28 seems to be exorbitant without tip. If I'm wrong then It should be four stars.

Hash was homemade and outstanding! Extra crispy and flavorful. Biscuits were homemade buttermilk and about as good as homemade buttermilk biscuits can get. My husband had coffee which he said was very good (which is high praise from him). I had a small hot chocolate. Do yourself a favor, if you get the hot chocolate, make it a large. Hands down the best I've ever tasted. Light, frothy and Ghirardelli chocolate, need I say more? We saw the pancakes and they are dinner plate sized. The place is unassuming and comfortable, games to play at your table to keep the kids busy. Local artwork for sale. The owner was at the register and he shared the story of how the place came to be. Ask if you meet him, pretty cool and I'm glad they survived their first year. You order at the register and they bring the food to your table. Def stop if you are in the area. We love supporting small business.

But the food was all cold. I asked for my English muffin to be toasted it came back to me raw with a glob of butter on it. I asked for a replacement the next one came just a little more toasted with yet another glob of partially melted butter kind of gross looking. I asked for my pancakes at the end of the meal and they were cold I asked for butter and it would not even melt I had cold maple syrup I paid extra for the real stuff and I didn't even finish them because they were just cold and chewy. My corned beef hash I asked to be on the crispy side it was crispy on the outside and cold on the inside. I had to keep asking for my coffee to be filled which I shouldn't have to do. I hate to say this but overall it was a terrible breakfast probably one of the worst I've ever had and the service was not very good at all. Definitely will not be back unfortunately.

They were a little understaffed for the crowd but our waitress was very courteous and accomodating. Classic, cold milkshake that comes in the aluminum cup and hits fantastic at night with their seasoned waffle fries and pancakes. Great stuff. magical experience. perfect nighttime bite. Iplan to be back.

They initially said it would be a 45 minute wait, but it actually turned out to be less than 10 minutes. We were greeted by a very lovely, smiling and upbeat young lady who took us to our table for 2, which was wick followed by our equally lovely waitress. The food was excellent and the syrup of course was perfect. We enjoyed seeing the young families and couples all sharing large family style tables and enjoying the moment. Quick tip: get there around 10AM after the rush and you should get a table pretty quickly! The ride up to the farm is fun and provides an excuse to drive into the hills that you may not venture into otherwise. If you haven't done it before, please go and treat yourself and your family, if like me you haven't been back in quite sometime, GO because I regret missing past years of treating ourselves to this experience. If you found this review helpful, please let me know by tapping the things up. Thanks!
