I stopped by here for a quick coffee and bagel sandwich yesterday. As expected on a Sunday morning, the place was buzzing. I really did enjoy the seating by the large sunny window. The layout and atmosphere in here is beautiful and just what a sunny brunch/breakfast spot should be. I got the goat in the garden bagel with lox. The bagel itself was very chewy. The goats cheese was plain and could have been dressed a little bit. Small things like adding dill and garlic to the cheese or dressing the sandwich with olive oil and arugula would do the trick here. Cold brew coffee was pretty standard but more on the watery side. My friend got a broccoli cheese scone which was delicious.

Super cute cafe/sandwich shop. Pretty busy and seating was limited when crowded. Good place to study but it does get loud. Lots of menu options and pastries. Coffee and drinks as well.

Awesome experience wonderful service fantastic coffee but everything was cooked this morning. The end of the day we got huge peanut butter, chocolate chip cookies and blueberry muffins and fresh croissants as well as three coffees Two hot total 21.00. Will definitely stop here again if I had a chance while visiting my grandma.

great place, has captured an artsy bakery and cafe vibe. makes me feel whimsical and like i can really sit down and write a novel or do homework in this cafe. great food, no complaints about the paninis - quite good. good coffee and tea drinks too, the matcha latte comes in a large cup so you can enjoy the tea for longer. cozy and yummy. good place for the soul

This is a very "New England" spot! It was quaint and charming. It's not big but the food was innovative and delicious. The service was quick and it was easy to order. I would definitely go back

Cafe Mocha

Had one sip of a cafe mocha and that was all it took. It was not overly sweet but oh it was chocolaty. It wasn't Mr.Tough Guy oh yeah 100% cacao no sugar bitter as hell I love my coffee black type chocolaty. Instead it was more like oh wow it's like they said screw it and added Swiss Miss to my coffee and I'm going to pretend I don't absolutely love Swiss Miss but this is a real coffee shop so I know it's not type chocolaty. I am also surprised chocolaty is a real word. Anyways, I always get cafe mochas when I get coffee so I'll admit I get around with this drink. I will also admit that this is the best one I've had for my personal likings. Not too bitter, not too sweet, but I can damn well stoll taste the chocolate. Sometimes I get one and the only mocha thing about it is the powder that doesn't mix well at the bottom. This was far from that. The whipped cream at the top just spoiled me too. I mean I would drive 40 minutes for this every Sunday. Overall this place was pretty cool. Really busy when I went on a Sunday afternoon. Lots of outdoor seating and plenty of options. Service was also fast and friendly. I felt like I was at a busy Starbucks because they were working pretty hard back there. Anyways, I certainly loved their cafe mocha. It was the perfect amount of chocolaty for me.

Lively & bustling cafe with a quiet room for computer work. Lots of people made this bakery feel like the place to be. Delicious smoked tofu veggie sandwich .. .. which made me feel better about eating a cannoli as well. Lol The cannoli she'll was crisp and drag with a creamy filling that although wasn't traditional but hit the mark with its ricotta texture with a pleasant mild flavor. As an Italian American, I'm always looking for the bits of candied orange & sometimes small chocolate chips in the ricotta and pistachios for the ends. I would imagine that may cause issues for allergies. The service was friendly, helpful and insightful with regard to my needs as a patron. The owner was an out-going woman who exuded pride and passion for her work in serving the community. Northampton is lucky to have a cafe committed to providing fresh & tasty food.

Phone number from website doesn't seem to work, is there another?

Someone called me from there the other day and the phone number used was: 413-585-9777. But now when I call it, it says it's not in service. How frustrating!

A great cafe and equally wonderful spot for a lunch! I stopped in here on July 4th weekend…read more(actually it was July 4th) when all other spots in town were closed. We had our pup with us, so spots where we could sit down were even more limited, but luckily, a lunch at Familiars was only a very long line away. While the group waited outside at one of the sidewalk tables, I went inside to order at the counter. I got the chicken salad sandwich and have to say I was so surprised by how delicious it was. I'm not from here, so from just the outside and where you order, I thought they were a cafe first with food options, but nope. Definitely wrong, they make a great sandwich. And the coffees were also delicious! Baristas and team were all friendly, the space inside was very cool, cozy and comfortable and they had plenty of outside tables as well. You order at the counter and they will bring all of the food out to you, you also grab your own waters inside. A nice mix of casual and service. If I was local or visiting when I needed a space to bring my laptop and get some remote work done, this seems like a great option.

I've been following Familairs on socials for a while and knew I was going to try it when I went…read moreback to the area. First, tons of outdoor seating, the outside is gorgeous and so welcoming. I got one of their spring specials, the Sugar Bush Latte. The latte had the perfect amount of flavor and not too much sweetness (which I prefer). Before I left, I also got an iced black tea and an iced americano for my husband. The iced black tea was perfection, flavorful yet still bitter. The iced americano (unsweet) confirmed that their espresso was DELISH.
